Chapter 1: Let The Games Continue

Life has always sucked for Taylor Hebert. When would it all begin?

Probably from the disaster of 2003, where Brockton Bay was completely demolished. I'm fifteen now, but I was only seven back then when I lost my dad to that insane woman. Thousands died due to her insanity and no one has really forgotten yet in New Brockton Bay. I feel bad for her daughter who is being dragged down by her mother's faults, no one should be that hated for something they didn't cause.

So many people died then. I lost my father and Emma lost the rest of her family. Mother took her into our home, it's a good thing she had what was considered a necessary job so that she could provide for both of us. Mom helped educate all the displaced children for two years after all the tragedy with the community coming together to support everyone. My mom says people weren't that helpful towards each other since the S9 attack back in the early 1990's. We came together as a city and got everything back in order.

There are still the gangs, but everywhere has a gang these days and it is a great city at the end of the day. The merchants exist, but those bottom feeders rarely crawl out of their holes lest they get arrested by the heroes. The ABB has been the biggest threat for a long time but after what happened to Lung last year they've been on the decline and are nearly gone. Then there's a branch of the Hellfire Club, the worshippers of the most known endbringer.

There's not a single crime any of them have been shown to commit but worshiping that endbringer in this city would never work out. Not to mention that the head of that little club is one of the world's strongest masters, no one knows when those people will just flip regardless of how nice they are to people.

It's almost funny, we hate the endbringer that has almost never directly killed anyone the most. There are civilians with higher personal body counts than an endbringer, though she is the most feared by many if you look at the aftermath. Nothing has come close to the horrors committed through her 'gifts'.

'If you want to find out what a man is to the bottom, give him power. Any man can stand adversity — only a great man can stand prosperity.'

We've gone over this quote in school before but it pretty much summarizes how the newest endbringer is destroying the world. Give a couple of parahumans the power to compete with the best in the world and watch what they do with it. There has been good to come out of it, and damn does that hurt to say, but the bad far outweighs it in my eyes. Maybe it's just more personal in my eyes, those disgusting games took my father away after all.

I've found out what I do when faced with adversity at least—Nothing. It was late 2009 when I figured that out. When Emma died.

It was one day around August of that year where Emma didn't come home from a photo shoot. Her model career was just starting to take off and she was about to get a cover-shot for some teen magazine. Mom drove there to the studio to pick her up and she just wasn't there.

We looked everywhere for months, tried to get help from every police station and friend but nothing. We even tried the protectorate but they said there was no evidence of any 'parahuman cause'. Surprisingly, it was Greg who helped me find out what happened.

Greg apparently went "onto the dark web, ya know', just to look around" and found an underground ABB prostitution site. I feel you can tell where this is going.

There right in the middle of their promotional page and advertisements was Emma, sex slave of three months and two months pregnant. I don't even want to describe what all they were doing to her, but I still wish to forget the animal farm section.

All this time I hoped she just ran away or something, maybe I did something wrong and she never wanted to see me again. I hoped for such a horrible thing because I knew the alternative was probably worse. And I was right.

Those filthy gang members are like a disease, spreading their filth to any who would try and partake. I just wanted to be able to reach over and make them stop, take control over all the bad things that were happening to me. I blacked out for a couple of seconds that day and then went straight to mom to try and get justice.

We went right back to the police, showing them the video and asking them to please help Emma. The cop we went to told us that it was a 'parahuman crime committed by the ABB and they didn't have jurisdiction'. The PRT told us that 'there was no proof a parahuman criminal was involved, so they didn't have jurisdiction'. We were sent back and forth over and over again, each department trying to force the other one to do the work that no one was going to do.

All because no one wanted to piss off a dragon for people from the poorer neighborhood. It was when the police officer felt bad and tried having me pet his service dog to feel better that I finally found out I had a power, weeks after probably obtaining it. I freaked out for a second when I felt complete control over the dog and his senses, but managed to play it cool by ordering the dog to act naturally.

It was over the next week while me and my distraught mother were at home that I tested my power. I could control up to 300 animals within a couple of blocks of myself by my own touch and the touch of anything I have control over. I knew exactly what I needed to do. Luckily, New Brockton Bay has a large homeless dog population, remnants of the Empire's old days when they ran dog fights. First, I controlled a few insects to land on some birds and then used their senses to scout while walking around safer areas. It took me four days to locate the supposed 'Animal Farm' and show them what that really means.

40 of the largest birds, 30 of the most poisonous insects, and 230 of the most vicious dogs I could get broken out of the pounds and moved from their alleys. Birds clawed their eyes out and dogs mauled them until their deaths, ignoring all injuries. Oni Lee was there and blew up a bunch of people but when he stabbed one of my dogs, a bunch of black widows I had him carry stealthy jumped onto Oni Lee. He fell over from poisoning after 3 more minutes of attempting to salvage the situation.

My pack arrived in the back room and arrived at the…..merchandise. I finally found her. Emma. Abused, beaten, lifeless eyes and with a swollen pregnant belly. It's okay, we can fix this, I finally found her. We can fix this. I know we can do it.

I have my dogs grab all the keys and bring them to the right prisoners. Many girls are thankful before running for their lives while Emma just takes a slow glance at the key before turning it and freeing herself. She smiles at the animals before moving from her position to the middle of the room.

She killed herself with a knife laying on the floor. After all that, she just…..gave up hope. I blacked out for a moment before just controlling my animals and doing the only thing that felt natural in that moment.

I killed every single gang member in that complex that day, until Lung eventually showed up and burned all the animals to death then engaging the PRT. Our greatest independent against him was unfortunately in another city that night.

I cried for hours that night, silently weeping and knowing my best friend was gone forever. The changes I felt in my power after that were no consolation to losing my best friend and sister forever.

I didn't have a limit any more. I could spread my control to as many animals in my range until I fell asleep, where my control was reverted back to no animals. But what did it matter?

I contemplated taking the fight to the ABB and ending them all, but before I could even get a plan fully together the events last January happened and they fell apart on their own. So, I'm just here, stretching my power out to the surrounding animals because it helps clear my head.

I thought about being a hero but I already failed. Besides, the protectorate are looking for a parahuman with my powers after all those murders and I can't leave mom alone now.

I don't want to be a hero, I just want my friend back.

I've had my powers for about a year and a half now that we've reached the beginning of May, 2011. I haven't done anything since that night and I don't feel much anymore. I want to be better, to help people but I just can't get the motivation. Just let me sit here in this park and diffuse myself and my emotions into all the surrounding animals.

It was then I noticed an odd tint through the eyes of the birds flying high.

I looked around through my borrowed eyes and saw what could be everyone's greatest fear. The entirety of New Brockton Bay City is wrapped in a slightly red dome that completely separates it from the outside world. Everyone has seen it before, there's no in or out of here until it is over.

We are now part of the setting for the world's most known event, The Holy Grail War. Honestly, I don't know why it's called that, but the talking endbringer was really insistent from what I heard and no one felt like arguing with her.

BUT WHY! Brockton Bay was already hit once before back in 2003 and an endbringer has never attacked the same city twice. All the animals under my control begin to see the people in the streets panicking, no doubt coming to the same realization.

I have to go to shelter, to find mo—

"Now why would you start hiding? You have a game to play after all."

W-w-what was that? Nobody is around me and I know that voi—

"I'm in your head. Welcome Taylor Hebert, to my Ninth Holy Grail War. I'm Osiris, also known as the Kingmaker and the Endbringer of Wishes. You know my name of course, everyone does, but I still love introducing myself. All the participants are in the city right now, but you are lucky contestant number 1! Taylor Hebert, Come On Down!"

No. God please no. Even this female monster's dulcet tones can't knock me out of the unending horror that I feel is to come.

"Why are you so sad? Hmmmmm~~~~. Plenty of people consider it an honor to play in my war! You could just sit back and hide for the next week, just be aware that if you don't kill another contestant you die. Now let's look at this power of yours. "

Dad died last time this happened in this city and he wasn't even involved. People die because of your games you monster!

"All I have done is given people power and a dream. Why am I responsible for what they do with it? I mean look at you! I haven't even upgraded you yet and you're already in the top 1% of killers! Is that my fault as well? Ouuuuuuuu, I know just what to do!"

Get out of my head! They were monsters who took EMMA away, they deserved it.

"And you had the right to make that decision? Not that I care, I'm just genuinely curious about what you think. But don't worry, I have a solution to your problems! If people won't listen to you, you could just make them listen! It works for me all the time."

What do you mean? Please, just pick someone else.

"Nope, I like the cut of your gib. Heh, always wanted to say that. Anyways, standard Master, Stranger, Thinker, Trump Immunities besides from other contestants. They do get resistance however. For your power, I doubled your range and made your targets unaware of your control over them until the first time you exert it."

Why would that matter? I don't care what the dog thinks of my control.

"Nooooooo, but you don't want to be known as a master immediately when I buff your power to also count humans. Honestly If you existed with your powers a few years ago I might have thrown you in the Brazil war, the constant mind-games in that one was one of my favorites."

Wait, what. I don't want to be a human master! You're the thing who made them nearly killed on sight in the first place!

"I don't control how humans react to a person just because they have a threatening ability. Yes Administrator, I know. Here, take my help and grow. Now, Taylor. Its been fun chatting with you in your head but it's for me to go. While I've already walled off the entire city, the week of fighting will begin tomorrow from May the 11th to May the 18th."

"Good Luck and the world will be watching soon!"

I can feel the presence leave my head as I contemplate my next move through all the anxiety. Heroes who get chosen normally go to the Protectorate or closest local hero organization to work together but I'm a HUMAN master now. They'll never accept me, they'll probably kill me on sight to give any hero a free kill.

No, I can't go to them. I'll be put down. These fights always cause extreme damage and mass deaths, so if I have any conscience left I have to help stop the innocents from being hurt. At least the fighting area is limited to one city, nobody forgot 2004.

No matter the costs. I won't let another family down like my father. Oh God, my family. How am I going to keep mom safe?

And maybe, just maybe. If there are enough villains in this game instead of heroes, I could kill them and win.

Emma. Dad. I could wish my family back to me.

Legend - September 6th, 2003 - Dubai

We all line up, heroes and villains together, for the THING'S descent. While we at Cauldron knew it was bad news when Contessa couldn't path it, nobody could expect the damage it would lay. At least with Behemoth and Leviathan we can see the damage at first glance, who knows if we've still seen everything this Simurgh ruined in her last trip down here.

And now she's back, less than a year later. If the forecasts are true as well, We'll be seeing her probably once a year.

I look back to all the men and women standing behind me, ready to fight for their lives against possible extinction regardless of personal belief.

Some heroes I hold as friends and comrades: Me, Alexandria, Eidolon, Iron Man, All-Might, Bang, Captain America.

Some independents who in these moments I can trust to watch my back: Tatsumaki, Storm, Narwhal, Hulk.

Even villains who wouldn't dare take this moment to fight: Kaiser, Accord, Magneto, Destro, Juggernaut.

Well, time to do this speech again. It hurts me to see all the people bored from hearing it for the tenth time, but it hurts me more to see all the people who could never make it out alive to hear it again.

"Welcome everyone and thank you deeply for your help to humanity in these moments. Even the villains. Regardless of your personal lives and crimes, this goes beyond that. This is a fight for survival."

"We've had time to gather since the Simurgh is taking its time to land and that means we have just a few more minutes to prepare and brief for its arrival, instead of jumping straight into the fray as we arrive. With this advantage, some luck, teamwork and hard effort from everyone, I hold out hope that this could be one of the good days."

I take a deep breath before announcing the horrors of the situation and showing a box we have to the side full of collars.

"But you should know your chances going in. Given the statistics from our single previous encounter with this beast, a 'good day' is a day where we won't have to worry about our sanity after we leave here today. The Simurgh, as the Endbringer has been officially declared, is a human master of the worst kind. Subliminal messaging and manipulations to where you could go crazy 5 years down the line and ruin the lives of everyone you love or start killing everyone you see today."

"From all the research we've focused on in the last 9 months, we've confirmed a couple of points. First, the insanity and so-called 'breaking point' that the Simurgh causes in humans is from her voice. All of our research shows that it takes 20 minutes for you to be considered a write-off."

I walk over to the boxes filled with collars and take one. I quickly press a button on a custom made one for an example before throwing it in the air. It implodes with a loud bang, wiping out a very contained area.

"This is a bomb collar we developed to implode your head once it has been confirmed you have spent twenty minutes in range of the Simurgh's song. There is no escape once you hit that point. Heroes, Independents, Villians. If you can't accept this point then leave now."

Screeching and yelling erupts at my declaration before I grab a collar for myself and latch it tightly around my neck. They quiet down for the moment.

"No exceptions. We can't afford for another of its designs to win. If the bomb can't kill you, you will be quarantined then hunted if you don't accept that quarantine. We are here so that we don't have to wall up to another city. We wish for them to never again be another Lausanne. Strider is ready to take you to a rest point if you can't accept this decision. What happened on December 30, 2002 will not be repeated here if I have anything to say about it."

There are a few who wish to retreat, but most stay. Good, they know what is at stake here. With only a minute until her descent reaches us, flyers begin going into the air as blasters get in positions with open shots. Me, Alexandria, and Eidolon fly upwards ready for another fight for the world.

Sure enough, she's here. As she reaches our range, she begins to scream loudly to where everyone could hear it. Twenty minutes start now.

Buildings collapse as the Simurgh uses them as ammunition, quickly killing a lot of the weaker parahumans in mass. When Alexandria and Eidolon try to hit her, they miss every attack attempted. I get similar results for a time.

After about three minutes of pointless mass slaughter and singing, I can see the Simurgh stop then change up its entire plan. Alexandria and myself begin to hit the beast while Eidolon still misses, much of the metal and nearby elements are being quickly assembled into a sphere of some kind. Tinker tech is built before our eyes as the designs looks extremely similar to that of nearby tinkers

I hear Alexandria quickly talk into the earpiece everyone has and let the assistants on the other end push the information out. We really need a better system than this.

"Alexandria. Code 439. Assume the Simurgh can replicate nearby tinker-tech or tinker powers. Quickly evacuate all tinkers from the area."

"Roger. All Tinkers routed towards a Strider Extraction Point."

A little late, I can see the winged monster build a bomb of some kind before throwing it into one of the most densely populated areas.

"MOVE!"

I scream and try to stop it but it is too late. Some parahumans manage to get out of the way, but more die from the ensuing explosion. There were two endbringer shelters in that direction which I don't think exist anymore, so many civilians just gone.

The fight doesn't stop just because of deaths however. We need to move on and suppress her. Another 5 minutes pass of the Simurgh using telekinesis to full effect to slaughter some of the parahumans. This has got to be one of the worst days yet, I can feel it.

As everyone reaches the ten minutes mark on Simurgh exposure, she suddenly stops her singing and begins flying higher. For a second, we think that could be the end of the fight. That is, until the sudden storm that materializes.

Gale force winds start to pick up and lightning reveals itself. Thunder rages through everyone's ears as the clouds in the sky become larger and larger until it blocks out the sky completely.

"ROOOAAARRR!"

A piercing and bestial roar envelops everyone's hearing, stopping everyone in their tracks. The Simurgh is now beside the endless clouds in the sky before we can see it. A head pops out of the sea of clouds, soon joined by a long serpentine body and fierce claws.

Its size is immeasurable, it could lay down on this entire city. No sound is heard for a while until another round of lightning sparks and thunder rings, announcing the beast's arrival.

Why? Why are we so forsaken to have to deal with another of these beasts? I can barely manage to look around and see most of the nearby parahumans grow weak at the knees, dropping to the ground. Some pray for salvation.

The Simurgh floats next to the head of the beast, its entire body not even managing to be the same size as the dragon's maul. Suddenly, the Simurgh shakes its head up and down before mass telekinesis is displayed. Buildings are rearranged until what seems to be a giant set of stairs made from Dubai's finest architecture appears. At the top of the stairs, a base is formed in mid-air with a—human sized throne? Yes, a human-sized throne appeared on it.

Before I can wonder when the world will start making sense again, I speck of red light is shot out from the body of the large serpent and drops onto the chair. It takes form until a fully human shape appears, the head of the great beast being used as a backdrop for the appearance of this person.

Long, vibrant red hair flows down her shoulders, showing the care given to its owner's appearances. A multitude of exotic features on display, between elf ears, ram horns, and a devil's tail. An extremely large bust nearly overfilling the seductive clothes of the wearer, I believe that is what many of the parahumans in the audience are focusing on in this introduction. A perfect appearance of temptation and lust, if I wasn't gay myself I could easily see behaving how she wanted me to for any slither of attention.

The unmeasurably large dragon that appears to obey her also gives an image of dominance and control, a presence that forces your attention.

She looks towards the three of us, me, Alexandria, and Eidolon, and lazily lifts her hand before pointing it at us. She flicks her index finger towards herself in a 'come hither' movement, what she wants from us is obvious. She sits there with a slight frown on her face as we aren't immediately flying to meet her needs, as if we are servants who should be happy to answer her call.

She points at the Simurgh before the winged one starts singing again as the red-haired woman once again motions us forward. While Eidolon seems ready to fight again, Alexandria grabs him by the shoulder and pulls him back.

"Rebecca! What are you doing? We have to fight them!"

"David! We could barely manage one, and you want to start a war with two of them. Especially one that seems to want to talk? We might never have another chance like this again, we might as well see what it wants."

"I heard that. Being called an it is rather rude, do call me she. Did my appearance not give my gender away? Hurry up and come over here, my patience isn't unlimited. Don't you want Simmy to stop singing her song?"

I briefly looked between the three of us and our thoughts on the matter were communicated. David controls his temper while Alexandria updates the operators on the situation before we all drop onto the platform where her throne resides.

"There, was that so hard? Greetings, leaders of heroes. I am Osiris, Sister to the ones you know as Behemoth, Leviathan, and Simurgh. I prefer to call her Simmy for the record though."

She speaks with a slow drawl, as if slowing down her speech to make sure we could understand her. The implications of stupidity aren't lost on me. What is more important however is the fact that this could be the first actual conversation with these threats. Alexandria quickly goes to speak.

"I am Alexandria, Protectorate hero and first-in-command at Endbringer battles. Why are you here?"

"Hmmmmm, all the questions you could ask and the first thing you think of is why am I here? Well, I saw the fun time my sister was having and thought I would join in on the fun. Levi and Benny are too stupid to care about, but I like to keep up with my sis. Girl power and all that, ya know?"

I immediately tense, she finds what the Simurgh was doing as fun? This monster.

"How dare you. The simurgh's actions have directly killed hundreds of thousands. You look at that and laugh!"

My rage can't be contained at this disgusting, arrogant little devil.

"You are right in a sense. I dislike the way my siblings operate."

Huh.

"Levi destroys coastal towns and islands, Behemoth destroys energy sources, and Simmy mind control as she pleases. One thing I think they all got wrong is that they shouldn't waste their time killing you humans."

"W-well, that is—"

I try to speak before I am interrupted by her.

"After all, you all are more than capable of doing that to yourselves."

"What? How does a monste—"

"Quiet green man, I'm making a point. No matter how much work my siblings put into killing you all, I am of the opinion that like most things there is a far simpler solution. So, I wish to play a game with the human race."

A wave of her hand and a thick stone tablet materializes before our eyes with words written on the surface as if they were commandments.

Holy Grail War

The War will be held once a calendar year at a location of Osiris' choice for a week. The Holy Grail War will count as a yearly 'endbringer attack' by Osiris at any given time of the year, ignoring all other attacks by endbringers. As such, other endbringers will attack approximately every 4 months instead of 3 to account for this. Seven contestants will be teleported into the location. Whether there is a time to prepare or not is subject to change year by year by the decision of Osiris. All contestants will be given immunity to (In Human Terms) Master, Stranger, Thinker, and unwanted Trump effects from other parahumans discounting fellow contestants. Fellow Contestants will be resistant to such powers by a contestant, but can be affected. All contestants will have their powers enhanced before the war starts and the power-up will not be taken away, including the immunity. If a contestant doesn't have a kill by the time the war ends, they will be killed. If a contestant is killed by several other contestants working together, then credit will be given to the one Osiris feels deserves the credit. The war ends after seven days with whoever has killed the most contestants and is alive wins. If there is a tie at the end of the war, the war will continue indefinitely until a winner is decided or all but one of the tied contestants gives up on attempting to win, which will result in them being killed by Osiris. The winner will be allowed to ask one wish of Osiris to grant.

"Besides this game I intend to play, I have no plans to attack humanity. Everything will be left up to humans. If you play it smartly, my wars can even be a benefit to you!"

"How could something like you ever help humans!"

"Chill green man, you have so much anger in you. Relax a little, won't you? Anyway, for my games I will heavily empower all seven of the individuals that participate in my games to equal or greater levels than your own strengths. If you believe in humanity so much, here is your chance."

"I will not interfere in the matches beyond the rules started. While only three could remain at the end of my wars since everyone needs to kill someone else, that's still an endbringer fight that gives you three superpowered parahumans and only four deaths. Look around you at all the corpses, doesn't that sound like a good deal?"

I do as she says and look. So, so many dead. Could she actually be telling the truth?

"I believe that if I give you humans enough power, you'll destroy yourselves. Do you wish to challenge me on that thought?"

"We obviously would not! And granting wishes, do you think we are children?"

"Well, I guess you will just have to wait and find out!"

"So to recap! I will never kill a human with my own body or power as long as they don't bother me first. In return, you all play my game and you won't belong to me until after you die. I, Osiris, Goddess of the Dead, will take great care of all your immortal souls gifted to me after you die~~~. Until then, I will never lay the first blow with my own hands. That, or me and my sister Simmy over here can start attacking you together and I won't leave until every stone is left turned over. Accept now and I'll throw in convincing Simmy to end today's attack early."

She says with a childish excitement to her voice. This delusional beast really pictures itself as a goddess playing with souls like some fiction book?

So what do you say, Library of Alexandria, will humanity play with me?"

A quick deliberation later and an accord was met. The Simurgh flew back into the air while the monster in the clouds disappeared. As the human form of that enoumous beast before us starts to fade from view, I wonder whether we made the right decision or not.

We thought that regardless of if we accept this 'game' deal or not, we can always intervene with the outcome by approaching the fight. Little did we know that Osiris completely separates the war location from the rest of the world, not even Doormaker has found a way inside.

It took less than two years for me to figure out that Osiris could be so much worse than all the other endbringers. We of the triumvirate were especially blamed for some of the tragedies to follow when the full conversation with Osiris was uploaded to the internet and became impossible to remove, like most of her content. From her actions, she's clearly an attention whore.

MC POV:

Oh Dear,

How long have I been making this planet terrorize itself? This will be my 9th annual death battle hosted using the locals?

Well, that stupid little CYOA I filled in back in the day put me on this journey and I plan to realize it. If helping the humans kill themselves in the billions and not being bothered doesn't let you know you're a psychopath, nothing will do it.

3 Abilities worthy of being an endbringer after taking a drawback of Dormant Period, not counting the insanity of my physical strength just by being a kaiju.

First, I wanted versatility. I DESIRED to be able to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. I thought of all the things that could get me this goal before coming to an inspiring thought.

If I can't have an infinite wish granting genie, why not just become one? So, Wishcraft from Fate. The ability to realize anything as long as I can pay the cost of such a transaction in magic energy.

Normally I would say this is too broken for an ability but the thing is I just bought access. This ability is just the membership card to get inside the store, I still need the money to afford the items.

Now comes the problem, fuel. I could make myself generate magic probably but how would I ever have enough power to do whatever I wish? So, my second power would be the way I gather my energy to fuel the wish.

I decided to make the ability to form conceptual contracts as my second power. As long as both sides agree, anything can be traded. Also much like Makima in Chainsaw Man, I could make a deal with someone who has authority over others and they could make deals on others' behalf.

Alexandria, by right of the UN Council, has full command world-wide during an Endbringer Operation with her orders superseding even local governments during attacks. I doubt those governments actually care too much about that piece of paper and only signed it for endbringer support benefits, but it's good enough for my power that they acknowledged Alexandria's authority. Cauldron shenanigans no doubt, but it works for me because that means Alexandria had the right to negotiate on behalf of the entire world in my power's eyes.

"So to recap! I will never kill a human with my own body or power as long as they don't bother me first. In return, you all play my game and you won't belong to me until after you die. I, Osiris, Goddess of the Dead, will take great care of all your immortal souls gifted to me after you die~~~"

"So what do you say, Library of Alexandria, will humanity play with me?"

Yeah when Alexandria made that deal on behalf of humanity, I got full access to all the souls of the deceased on Earth Bet from that point onward. To be fair, I'm the only one who can use them. I don't think it would have gone so well if this universe had an established afterlife, but all these forsaken people had to look forward towards is a void so I'm practically doing them a favor. I would have had to fight for these souls with whatever God of Death existed if one did, thankfully living in Worm is suffering and they can't even die in peace.

So what if these humans don't get an afterlife, I'm granting wishes over here.

Hell, the entire reason I could rock my entrance as much as I did is that I made a deal with sister Simmy for her to kill a lot of the parahumans and people in the attack and let me have their souls. The parahuman link empowered their souls, so I got a lot out of it since I was starting out back then.

So I got the fun ability and all the fuel I need to use it at this point. To be honest, I could kill or enslave Scion at this point. I've looked at the cost in souls for my wish and I could pay it even if it would bite down on my wallet of souls. Heh, sounds like I'm playing dark souls.

I wished for portals to alternate worlds a long time ago and began making deals with those world leaders so I'm not merely relying on this world's stock. I own dozens of planet's afterlife at this point and I'm always ready for a good deal. Cauldron should be aware of my dealings in other realities on some level but they can't really do anything about me nor do they probably believe it. People with interdimensionally aliens in their heads still don't believe in magic, for shame.

My third power wasn't really too great of a choice but I chose it at the time, I guess it was some sort of fallback. I chose to make my existence binary between my Kaiju form and my human-ish form. In other words, I have all my abilities in both my bodies at the exact same time and I can control both bodies simultaneously. I can bring back my second body if somehow it gets destroyed either way as long as one body survives long enough.

Honestly, it doesn't matter at this point. I've buffed myself a thousand different ways over the years that even if I ran out of souls this second I would have so many back-up plans.

Part of my deal for this CYOA was to stick it out until Gold Morning, so I'll just watch and judge. I have given the humans plenty of resources over the years after all, the humans actually have a shot if they could put their differences aside.

I doubt it, but I'm willing to be surprised. Now, time to go play some tinker-tech video games. If you have the ability to enjoy it, why wouldn't you?

"Hey Simmy, want to go play that new game? If we're both using precognition and make our physical state the same then it could be fun!"

I talk to little Ziz, who has just been relaxing on the couch and hatching her diabolical plots.

"Ehhh, sure. I was just finishing up some more of my plots. I think I can manage to get a 6 way orgy going between some of Japan's greatest heroes with only twenty actions!"

"Nice, Which ones?"

"Mirko, Edgeshot, Kamui Woods, Hawks, Ryoko, Lady Nagant."

"Really Nice! Send me a link after you get everything in place, we can add it to the porn collection with the rest."

"You bet, now c'mon lets play."

Ahhhh, I got her free from Eidolon's orders a few years back. Also gave her the Bifurcation process I have though it is nerfed. Her mini-me version here in my room has decreased power in all areas, though still enough to contend with any parahuman. She's good company after being given sapience and I enjoy having my growing sister around. I already confirmed she has no dastardly plans for me so that's one problem I don't have to worry about in my extremely long life.

She still goes to the her endbringer fights with her main body and fights them all, but she hasn't actually used her mind altering song since the Madison fight in 09'. She has sung but she didn't actually use her skills, she was just gaslighting them. I mean just because she's free of mind control doesn't mean she minds killing or playing with her toys, she's been doing it forever. It's so ingrained at this point that it is not a big deal.

As me and Simmy walk to the other room with her telling me some of her plans(Read: Pranks), I think back to my death match for the year.

Wonder how many of the seven I picked for this year will survive, especially since it is the start of a wonderful year. I already looked in and confirmed with a clairvoyant ability I wished myself and little Taylor Hebert does have a similar ability and the same passenger.

Adding her into my roster for the year, I wonder who else I can add to the game to make this one to remember. After all, I didn't expect this world to be an AU mashup of Worm, Marvel, One Punch Man, and MHA when I got here. The entities are the only actual source of power but have three different strands of powers that were deployed into test subjects. The Genma and Corona are universal amongst all powers though.

One, regular triggers. Two, birth based triggers or otherwise known as quirks. Three, spontaneous mutations otherwise known as the X-Gene, which is often lumped in with Cauldron's Case 53 people in the case of physical mutations.

I admit to panicking when I realized Saitama could exist in this world, but I confirmed that he died in the attack on Kyushu. This world truly had no hope before I showed up and considering how fucked up I am, that's kind of sad.

Whew, dodged a bullet there, don't know how I would of dealt with the ultimate bullshit. But he's dead and I'm alive so time to get on with the show.

I'll make sure this is a year to remember. Sorry little Taylor, it's not my fault your life is suffering no matter what. I mean really, New Brockton Bay City is one of the best cities in the world and you still manage to have a crappy life. Would be a shame if some kaiju would come and show people that they are never really safe. Who cares if we endbringers have never attacked the same place twice before, a little spontaneous action never hurt anyone before.

Now, let the 9th Holy Grail War begin! Fuck those pussies in Fate with their every sixty years bullshit, my death match is THE annual, most watched, pay-per-view event in the world with public watch parties and everything!

Contestant 1 out of 7 For the Ninth Holy Grail War - Taylor Hebert:

Original Power: After Second Trigger. Master control over all 'infected' non-human life in a 5 block radius. Engaged by a striker effect which the currently mastered life can spread. All individuals are all released from being marked when Taylor is unconscious or asleep. Master 8, Striker 2, Thinker 2

Upgraded Power: Extends power to humans. doubled range to approximately half a mile. Humans and animals will not be aware they are 'infected' until Taylor tries to exert control. Master 10, Striker 5, Shaker 6, Thinker 5

AN: What did you think? This will be a one shot or not depending on feedback and the idea just wouldn't leave my head. Always wanted to do Endbringer SI but thought about making a trump endbringer for other parahumans, not herself. I'm releasing a long PHO section tomorrow to see how much participation I can expect, and I'm looking forward to any replies! Look forward to the memory of the first war in PHO format tomorrow and I love comments.

Also, that is the only MC POV I plan for this story, I want it to be through everyone else's eyes. MC could already win everything, but this story isn't about the MC. It's about the aftermath of everything the MC causes, like a trainwreck you just can't look away from.

I love grail wars in fate, but I feel like they never truly show how much damage people at that level of strength could cause so I wanted to show what could happen when they go wrong.

P.S. Slifer/Osiris The Sky Dragon is the weakest but coolest looking Egyptian God Card, change my mind.
