When morning came Aldarra was so comfortable and warm. She snuggled into the warmth surrounding her. Tywin was awake watching her snuggle into his arms and neck. She made cute little squeaky noises. He loved how she felt against his body. Aldarra molded against him perfectly. Not too big or too small. She had her leg wrapped around his leg with her knee between his legs. Her hand was on his chest and her head rested against his shoulder. He could feel her breath on his neck and skin. Tywin was truly content and relaxed. He has taken her two more times in the night.
Aldarra stirred, making a little squeaky noise. She sat up all sleepy eyed and looked into his eyes and said, "Good morning, my Lord husband." He smiled at her and moved some of her wild dark locks away from her face.
Tywin said softly, "Good morning, my lady wife." She leaned in and kissed his mouth. He buried both of his hands in her hair thoroughly taking advantage of the sweetest mouth he ever tasted. He broke the kiss and rolled her on her back and entered her. Aldarra moaned out loud in such a sexy way to him. She was a bit sore, arching her back into him. Tywin closed his eyes at the sensation of how she made him feel. Sex has never felt like this for a long time in his life. It was all gratification and nothing else.
He began slowly thrusting his
hips grinding his pelvis into her clitoris. He started to speed up and the rush of his body was driving him.
She said softly, "Faster, harder, Tywin." Tywin started pounding her tight little pussy. Tywin couldn't get enough.
Together they came at the same time. His body was pulsing. They clung to each other's bodies wrapped around each other panting, sweating and gripping tightly. They were quietly just coming down together. He rolled her on top of his body. Aldarra laid her head on his shoulder brushing her fingers through his damp chest hair. Tywin was so relaxed.
After a while, he got his dressing robes on and ordered food to break their fast. Afterwards, they both took a warm bath together washing each other. It was so intimate that she felt closer to him, by him letting her do this for him as he ended up making love to her after in the bath before getting out. They both got dressed for the day and kept kissing from time to time.
He looked over his correspondences in his study and wrote some replies, while Sansa and Aldarra had lunch together with Shae in the gardens. When she returned to the tower, Tywin told her that his son Jamie had returned finally and was maimed.
—--
A sennight prior, Tywin draws a sword of valyrian steel and hands it to a blacksmith, who knocks its hilt off with a hammer, and then places the blade into the forge. It melts down into molten sludge and is then recast into two swords.
After another sennight, Jaime holds up a sword, admiring it in the sunlight in his father's study in the Tower of the Hand where his desk is. Jamie says, "Magnificent."
Tywin was looking down at a message on a scroll and said, "Mm-hmm."
Jamie smiled and commented, "It looks fresh-forged."
Tywin mumbled, "It is."
Jamie said curiously, "No one's made a Valyrian steel sword since the Doom of Valyria I thought?"
Tywin answered him saying, "There are three living smiths who know how to rework Valyrian steel. The finest of them was in Volantis. He came here to King's Landing at my invitation a little while back to make it."
Jamie asked, "Where did you get this much Valyrian steel?"
Tywin told him, "From someone who no longer had need of it." Jamie nods and hefts the blade to feel the weight of it in his hand.
Jamie commented, "You've wanted one of these in the family for a long time."
Tywin said smiling, "And now we have two."
Jamie asked, "Two?"
Tywin answered, "The original weapon was absurdly large. Plenty of steel for two swords."
Jamie said, "Well, thank you. It's a glorious piece." Jamie attempts to sheath the sword into the cover lying on the table, but fails awkwardly. Tywin startles as the sheath bobbles about.
Tywin said, "You'll have to train your left hand to use it."
Jamie said frustrated, "Any decent swordsman knows how to use both hands."
Tywin said, "You'll never be as good as you were."
Jamie said, "No. But as long as I'm better than everyone else, I suppose it doesn't matter."
Tywin said, "You can't serve in the Kingsguard with one hand."
Jamie indignantly said, "Where's that written? I can and I will. The Kingsguard oath is for life."
Tywin said, "Other knights protected the king while you were a prisoner. They will continue to do so when you go home."
Jamie looked at him incredulously and asked, "Home?"
Tywin said, "You'll return to Casterly Rock and rule in my stead."
Jamie said, "You are the Lord of Casterly Rock."
Tywin said, "I am the King's Hand. I married Aldarra and will stay here. I don't expect to see the Rock again for a long time.
Jamie asked, "You know what they call me? Kingslayer. Oathbreaker. Man without honor. Now you want me to break another sacred vow? Who is this woman anyway? I heard she was houseless."
Tywin said, "You won't be breaking anything. There is a precedent to relieve a Kingsguard of his duties. The king will exercise that prerogative. Aldarra Blackthorne, now Lannister, was not houseless or disinherited as long as the lands existed. Unlike you are disinheriting yourself. You should go home."
Jamie said, "No."
Tywin said, looking at him hard, "No?"
Jamie spat, "No."
Tywin said, "I don't believe I asked you a question."
Jamie said, "There's my answer."
Tywin said, "If you think your bloody honor comes before…"
Jamie said, "My bloody honor is beyond repair, but my answer is still no. I don't want Casterly Rock. I don't want a wife. I don't want children. Besides, you're going to force that woman to make you more like a broodmare. Does she know what she's gotten herself into? My sister said she's a whore and a bitch."
Tywin said, "Your sister is acting like a fool and has been warned not to call my betrothed such things. She is a capable, intelligent and a skilled woman. She would eventually surprise you. Your duty to your family should have come before anything in your life. What do you want?"
Jamie smartly said, "Supper would be nice."
Tywin said angrily, "For forty years I've tried to teach you. If you haven't learned by now, you never will. Go. If serving as a glorified bodyguard is the sum of your ambition, go serve then."
Jamie asked, "I suppose you want the sword back?"
Tywin said, "Keep it."Jamie smiled and grabbed the sword.
Tywin said, "A one-handed man with no family needs all the help he can get." Jamie picks up the sword.
Aldarra opened the door of his study and stepped in dressed in her leather pants and tunic. Jamie looks at her in surprise. She smiled beautifully and said, "Tywin, I'm taking the guards to go to the training yard so I can hold up longer against you in strength. Sansa wanted to come watch. I'll be back to have dinner afterwards, Lord husband."
Tywin smiled at her and said, "Ok, Lady wife, see you then." Jamie's eyes bugged out from thinking, 'My father allows her to sword fight?' Aldarra closed the door and left for the training yard.
Jamie asked, "You let her fight and train?"
Tywin said, "Yes, she was trained already but got weak from not training in the last year. Last time she fought in the yard, she beat two Lannister soldiers and kept up pretty well with me. We were attacked at sea coming back from Braavos and she killed twenty three pirates with her bow and sword. She was lucky because Euron Greyjoy tried to kidnap her at the end when he lost half his men and was running off. I kept him from taking her. The men I took can attest to it all."
Jamie said, astonished, "Wow, Brienne of Tarth needs to meet her."
Tywin said, "Go watch. She is an amazing woman." Jamie left for the training yard meeting Brienne along the way.
Jamie said chuckling, "I'm going to watch my father's wife sword train in the training yard. It should be good for entertainment."
Brienne asked indignantly, looking at him hard, "Why would you say it like that?"
Jamie said snarkily, "I saw her. She is little and looks like she couldn't do much damage to anyone."
Brienne said shaking her head, "Brute strength isn't everything. There is skill involved, Ser Jamie."
Jamie said flippantly, "I guess, we will see." They heard the clanging of steel. They turned the corner and saw Aldarra fighting one of the Lannister soldiers. She was dancing her footwork and blocking and parrying. She finally tripped him up by pivoting on her leg low and fast kicking his legs from under him and had him at sword point.
Aldarra said, "Good job, Hamil, but next time keep your eyes on my feet too then you won't fall for that one. You did great on deflecting, my friend." He got up smiling.
Hamil said, "We can have a go at it again another time, ok, Lady Aldarra?"
She smiled and said, "Anytime." Sansa clapped for her.
Aldarra said bowing to her, "Thank you, my friend." She giggled at Sansa. Another soldier came up to challenge Aldarra. Sansa was sitting on the bench with her back to Brienne and Jamie who stood off to the side watching Aldarra battling the soldier.
Brienne nods to Sansa and says, "There she is."
Jamie said, "Yes, there she is with my father's wife."
Brienne shrugged and said, "And? You made a promise to her mother."
Jamie said frustrated, "To return the Stark girls to their mother. One who is now dead."
Brienne said huffing, "To keep them safe. You don't know if the other is dead or not."
Jamie said shifting uncomfortably, "Well, Arya Stark hasn't been seen since her father was killed. Where do you think she is? My money's on dead. There's a certain safety in death, wouldn't you say? And Sansa Stark is all that is here now. Bit of a complication."
Brienne said indignantly, "A complication does not release you from a vow."
Jamie asked growling, "What do you want me to do? Kidnap my now mother's friend? And take her where? Where would she be safer than here? Even my father's wife can defend her." Aldarra disarmed the soldier and stepped back. They were both impressed with her form and footing. She just needed more upper body strength.
Brienne said, impressed, "Wow, your father's wife is pretty good with a sword. She is quick and agile. She is just needing more strength. Ser Jamie, look me in the eye and tell me that you think Lady Sansa will be safe in King's Landing?"
Jamie said looking at her, "Are you sure we're not related? Ever since I've returned, every Lannister I've seen has been a miserable pain in my ass. Maybe you're a Lannister, too. You've got the hair for it, if not the looks." Jamie turns to leave and Brienne follows, smiling at him. Aldarra and Sansa headed back to the tower to have dinner with Tywin.
—--
A few days later, on the King's name day, Cersei, Joffrey, Tommen, Tyrion, Pycelle, Tywin and Aldarra sit at an outdoor banquet table. Mace Tyrell stands before them.
Mace said to Joffrey offering him a present, "From House Tyrell and the people of the Reach, Your Grace, it is my honor to present you with this wedding cup." He places the cup before Joffrey.
Mace said, "May you and my daughter Margaery drink deep and live long."
Joffrey said placatingly, "A handsome goblet, my lord. Or shall I call you Father?"
Mace said flattered, "I shall be honored, Your Grace." He bows and goes to sit down. Shae brings a tray to the table and sets it before Sansa.
Cersei whispered to her father, "She's the whore I told you about. The dark-haired one." Shae walks out of the room.
Tywin said, "Have her brought to the Tower of the Hand the day before the wedding." Aldarra looks at Tyrion concerned. Podrick places a large tome before Joffrey and Tyrion walks to the front of the table.
Joffrey looked at it questioningly and said, "A book?"
Tyrion said, "The Lives of Four Kings. It's Grand Maester Kaeth's history of the reigns of Daeron the Young Dragon, Baelor the Blessed, Aegon the Unworthy, and Daeron the Good. A book every king should read." Joffrey is at a loss for words. Tywin entreats him to respond.
Joffrey said casually, "When the war is won, we should all find time for wisdom. Thank you, Uncle."
Tyrion bows. Shae stands off watching. The Mountain brings forth a sword and lays it on the table before Joffrey. Tywin stands.
Tywin says, "One of only two Valyrian steel swords in the capital, Your Grace, freshly forged in your honor." Aldarra blanched and she thought, 'He didn't, he couldn't. Would he? Did he do it? Did he give that bastard child and his other son my father's sword?' She was getting angry and put on an emotionless mask. Excitedly, Joffrey walks around the table. Exuberantly, he unsheathes the sword.
Pycelle warned and said, "Careful, Your Grace. Nothing cuts like Valyrian steel."
Joffrey said, focused on the sword obsessed, "So they say." Joffrey steps away, then spins and cleaves the book carelessly that Tyrion just gave him, repeatedly. People gasp in response. Joffrey is very pleased.
Joffrey struts holding the sword and said, "Such a great sword should have a name. What shall I call her?"
Someone said, "Stormbringer.", "Terminus.", "Widow's Wail.", "Wolfsbane."
Joffrey grinned viciously and said, "Widow's Wail. I like that. Every time I use it, it'll be like cutting off Ned Stark's head all over again." Tywin sits down next to Aldarra. Joffrey sheaths the sword. Sansa looks dejected. He sits down next to Mace and Shae continues to watch everyone.
Later when Tywin and Aldarra are back in the tower. Aldarra walks past him to take off her jewelry. Tywin asked, "I have asked you twice now why you are being so silent and you have yet to answer me." He walked over to Aldarra and turned her around holding her by the shoulders and said, "What's wrong?"
Aldarra said controlled, "Was that made from my father's valyrian sword?"
Tywin got angry and demanded, "Are you talking about that damn sword again to me?!"
Aldarra spat, "I am if you melted it down to give that ungrateful whelp a sword and and your one handed son the other!"
Tywin said snarkily, "You said you didn't care! You walked away and told me to keep it!"
Aldarra sneered at him, "If you left me alone in Braavos, don't bother me and make me go back! Was it made from my father's sword, Tywin?!"
Tywin glared at her and said nastily, "What if it was?" Aldarra grabbed some things from her dresser and marched out of the room and grabbed some more clothes as Tywin watched following her as she turned and stormed out of his quarters to her old room and slammed the door in his face. He turned and went back to his study, poured himself and brandy and started working again.
