(Small heads up:Tikki and Plagg are humans in this universe! They are both 21 while Marinette and Adrien are 16-17)
It was a rather quiet morning, not much noise other than small clicking noise of Marinette's shoes as she walked down the long white hallways of the miraculous headquarters. She was looking at the small hologram screen in front of her face, It had been quite a while since she had received a mission so she was very excited as she kept re-reading the message from her master.
Dear Agent Ladybug, Come to my office. -Master Fu
He was a very straight forward guy, always gets straight to the point.
She finally made it to a white door (very high tech) she grabbed a card from her pocket and swiped it on the keypad. *click* The door opened.
"Master? You called me?" She asked, peaking through the doorframe.
The room didn't look anything like the rest of the building, it was very Chinese looking with the walls as if they were sliding doors (which they were, but not to other rooms, just a few cabinets and storage)
"I did. Tea?" He held up a cup up to her.
"Oh, thank you." She bowed and sat down on the floor next to him, taking the cup into her hands.
"I presume you have an idea on why I've called you here?"
She nodded trying to hold in her excitement. "A mission?"
He nodded. "It is indeed." He stood up and grabbed a small cylinder device and placed it down. A small hologram appeared above it.
For the most part it was a bunch of text about this very expensive jewel being displayed at a very expensive party.
"So you want me to infiltrate this party and...do what exactly?"
"There has been recent activity and word about things like this." He pointed at the sparkly gem on the floating screen. "Going missing... now we're not quite sure if it's the same organization that's stealing these items, but that's partly why we want you guys to go and find out."
Marinette stood up and placed her hands together happily and smiled.
"Oh okay! I can do tha-..." she paused now looking down at him puzzled as she raised an eyebrow "wait...you guys?"
He smiled and stood up.
"Oh! You mean me and tikki of course!" She laughed to herself.
He laughed. "No."
She stoped laughing and looked at him. "Excuse me?"
"You might want to sit back down for this one." He patted the small red mat next to him.
She sat down and looked at him very confused.
"If you read this it might give you an idea of what I mean." He pushed the hologram towards her as she grabbed it she read a small section of the article.

"Wait...Couples?! As in two!? But I'm only one person!" She blurted.
"And that's exactly why I've found you a partner." He smiled.
He mouth dropped. From ever since she can remember (when she worked at the agency at least) she had always been a solo field agent, unless you counted the input from her computer agent, Tikki.
"..do...do I know them?"
Master Fu thought for a moment then shook his head.
"Not that I know of... unless the name Chat noir rings a bell."
Maeinette is one of the top preforming spy's in her age group on the south-east sector of the HQ, Chat noir on the other hand is another top preforming agent who is working on the north-west sector of the HQ, So neither of them have formally met.
"So let me get this straight, you want me and...chat noir... to pretend to be a couple..." she cringed slightly. "And sneak into this high end party to stop some group of people from stealing a jewel?"
"Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. I've even already talked to him so the plan is set! I'll message you the time in which are in need to be ready and send a outfit to your dorm for you to wear."
"O-okay..." She said slowly as she stood up and was gently nudged out the door.
"It's quite interesting that they both had totally different reactions to this idea..." He thought to himself as the door clicked shut.

Marinette had her arms folded as she walked down the hall.
"It's kind of funny how you're so angry about having a partner for one mission." Tikki chuckled as she walked next to Marinette down the hall towards the computer room.
"You look very pretty by the way." She added.
Marinette was wearing a very beautiful rosey-pink dress with some cute black and pink flowers embroidered, it was floor length so that she could wear a more flexible bodysuit just in case she needed to fight, along with the accessible zipper on her skirt. Her hair was up in a small braid attached to the back of her head with some shiny pins and a cute pink little bow on the side of her head.
"Thank you." Marinette said softly still slightly salty about her "date"
A few minutes later Tikki stopped at a smaller black door near the end of the long hallway, she pulled out a small keycard and used it on the keypad.
Instantly as she walked in she smelled something...cheese?
"Oh...no, not you." Tikki said as she placed her hand on her forehead looking away from him.
"Why, Hello sugar cube!" Plagg said cheerfully giving her a big smile as he spun around on his gamer green and black chair.
"You know him?" Marinette asked
"Unfortunately." She sighed as she walked towards her desk spinning his chair away from her and gently grabbing a bag of chips and pushing it off her desk back onto his.
He slightly tipped and spilt a small amount of cheese chips on the floor. He looked down at chips then back at her and shrugged.
He scooted closer in her space bubble and smiled.
"How have you been, it's been a while!" He smiled as his chair rolled closer.
She rolled her eyes and ignored him while blowing more crumbs off her desk.
He smiled and scooted closer to her to try and annoy her.
"Can you not!" She shouted (slightly) and got up in his face as she pushed her hand down on his shoulder and pushed him against his chair moving it away from her desk.
He scooted away from her.
"Oookay." He rolled back over to his desk grabbing some chips and shoving them on his mouth as he looked back at his computer screen.
"So...who are you?" Marinette asked from the doorframe as she made he way inside. There were only a few computers on this particular room so they were the only ones inside.
"Oh-" he swallowed and started "I'm Plagg! Chat noirs computer agent."
"If he's anything like you then I'm even more worried this is going to go terribly." She started fiddling with her fingers as she chuckled nervously.
"Oh don't worry, we're kinda similar but not to similar if you know what I mean." He leaned back against his chair with his hands behind his head.
She looked at him with a weirdly confused explanation. Tikki looked over towards her
"Hey, it's going to be fine, remember he's an agent just like you. It's not a date It's a mission and you just happen to be on the same mission together." Marinette gave her a small smile.
"We'll I better go. My ride should be waiting in the garage."
"Bu-bye!" Plagg said.
"Bye! Good luck!"Tikki shouted as Marinette walked away.
