Aldarra climbed down off Drogon's back and started walking towards the group of men. She shouted out, "Is Jon Snow here?!" Aldarra was dressed all in black leather with a breastplate on and a long wolf fur coat. Her hair was a thick braid hanging over her left shoulder to her waist.

Jon raised his hand. She said smiling, "I am bringing you gift's Jon Snow." Jon started walking towards her. Suddenly, two more dragons landed, off at a distance. He thought this woman was incredibly beautiful.

Aldarra said, "The dragon's aren't a gift." She giggled at the look on his face.

Jon said bewildered, "Who are you?"

She said, grabbing his hand, "A friend. I need you to follow me. Come. It's nothing bad." The men from the Night Watch were following, as well as Stannis and Davos.

As they approached the rider's, Sansa dismounted and stood for a moment then started walking towards Jon and Aldarra. Jon walked to her quickly and she leapt into his arms. He closed his eyes and held her tight. When they finally let go.

Aldarra said, "I'm not done gifting. I have twenty four wagon loads of supplies for you and your men of the Night Watch." The men overheard her and cheered.

Jon smiled and said, "Who are you?"

Sansa said smiling, "She's Lady Aldarra, the woman who saved me and helped me escape King's Landing."

Aldarra said, "Let's get your goods stowed and ours. It's colder than a witch's tit up here." Some of the men chuckled. The men took charge and had the wagons pull inside the castle to start unloading the goods in the courtyard. Aldarra's soldiers were finding out where to bring their belongings inside too.

Later on, Aldarra was in the room with Sansa. There was a knock on the door. Aldarra opened the door to a woman all in red standing there. Aldarra said, "Yes, can I help you?"

The woman was strange to Aldarra, she didn't trust her. The woman said, "I think you can, may I come in?" Aldarra backed up and let her in. The red woman said, "You could be of great use to my king. You could destroy all his enemies in his path to the Iron Throne."

Aldarra asked, puzzled, "Who are you?"

The woman said proudly, "I am the Lord of Light's Red Priestess, Melisandre."

Aldarra said matter of factly, "Well, Melisandre, I fight for myself and my loved ones only." Her baby starts crying.

Aldarra scoops him up and says, "It's ok, Tyren. Mama has something for you." She pulls out her breast not caring if the woman was there or not because it was her room. The baby started suckling while she sat down holding him.

Melisandre asked, "Do you know your son is destined to be a wealthy and great man?"

Aldarra looked at her and said, "I already know this."

Melisandre tells her, "If you bend the knee to my king and help him, you would be greatly rewarded."

Aldarra sighs and says, "Melisandre, I am sick of king's and most men in general trying to control my actions. So if you don't mind, we have come a long way and need food and rest. Please excuse us." Sansa opened the door. The woman smiled and swept out the door.

Sam sits at a table in the library, reading a letter. Aemon is with him. Sam lifted his head and said, "This Aldarra sounds like quite a woman."

Aemon replied, "And she's alone with no family to guide her or protect her. A woman alone in the world is a terrible thing." Jon walks in.

Sam said, "She seems to be doing ok. She has many friends with her."

Jon said, "Maester Aemon."

Aemon said, "Lord Commander."

Jon asked, "Sam, I'd like to speak to the maester alone, please?" Sam smiles, gets up, grabs his papers, and leaves. Jon walks over and sits at the table.

Jon asks, "How are you feeling?"

Aemon said smiling, "Oh, like a hundred-year-old man slowly freezing to death."

Jon asks, "I need your advice? There's something I want to do, something I have to do. But it'll divide the Night's Watch. Bitterly. Half the men will hate me the moment I give the order."

Aemon said, "Half the men hate you already, Lord Commander. Do it."

Jon said, "But you don't know what it is."

Aemon said, "That doesn't matter. You do. You will find little joy in your command. But with luck, you will find the strength to do what needs to be done. Kill the boy, Jon Snow. Winter is almost upon us. Kill the boy, and let the man be born."

Jon and Tormund sit across from each other at a table. Jon said, "Where are the rest of the free folk now?" Tormund scoffs. "Where have they gone? Who leads them?"

Tormund says, "They followed Mance. They won't follow anyone else."

Jon asks, "What about you?"

Tormund smirks and says, "Hard to lead when you're in chains."

Jon said seriously, "What if I unchained you?"

Tormund asks curiously, "Why would you do that?"

Jon said leaning in, "Because you are not my enemy. And I'm not yours."

Tormund, with his eyebrow raised, says, "You sure seemed like my enemy when you were killing my friends."

Jon said, "For 8,000 years the Night's Watch has sworn an oath to be the shield that guards the realms of men. And for 8,000 years we've fallen short of that oath. You belong to the realms of men. All of you."

Tormund asks, "And now everything is going to change?"

Jon said, "It is."

Tormund asks, "Why now?"

Jon leaned forward and said, "Because now, I am Lord Commander of the Night's Watch."

Tormund leans forward and asks, "What would you have me do, Lord Commander?"

Jon stood up and said, "I'd have you go north of the Wall. Gather the remaining free folk wherever they are and bring them back here. I'll open the gates for them and let them through. I'll find them lands to settle south of the Wall."

Tormund says, "They won't kneel for you and neither will I."

Jon said, "I don't want them to kneel for me. I want them to fight with me when the time comes."

Tormund says, "The day I ask my people to fight with the crows is the day my people cut my guts from my belly and make me eat them."

Jon said, "And how many of your people can't fight? The women, the children, the old, the sick, what happens to them? You're condemning them to death. Worse than death because you're too proud to make peace. Or maybe you're not proud. Maybe you're just a coward."

Tormund said, getting angry and standing up, "Easy thing to say to a man in chains." Jon unchains Tormund. Tormund's eyes widen as he feels his hands.

Jon said, "Your people need a leader. And they need to get south of the Wall before it's too late. We don't have much time and they have less. The walkers are coming and they'll hit your people first. I'm not asking you to make peace to save your skin. Make peace to save your people."

Tormund said, "Most of them are at Hardhome. You know where that is?"

Jon said, "Up on Storrold's Point. I can give you 10 horses and nine other men. You can get there in a week."

Tormund said, "We'll need ships."

Jon said, "I'll talk to King Stannis about lending you his fleet."

Tormund asks, "All right, then. You're coming with me. You're the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. They need to hear it from you. They need to know the ships they are boarding won't be torched in the middle of the sea. You come with me, or I don't go."

The next day, Aldarra was sitting with everyone at the bench tables with her baby in a sling around her and wrapped in her fur coat while eating breakfast. Jon asks, "So you're a Blackthorne but now a Lannister?"

Aldarra said, "Yes, but don't hold that against me. I had to run only two weeks after I was married to Tywin. I had to bring all my friends, Shae, Sansa and Tyrion to safety."

Jon asked, "You were pregnant already when you left?"

Aldarra said, "Obviously, nobody was more shocked than me. He melted down my father's sword, Darkstar and made two. One for his one handed other son and one for that ungrateful vicious little bastard king grandson of his that's dead now. I couldn't take it anymore when he was trying to hurt my friends. So we all left together. After three ship departures they lost track when I bought my own ship."

Jon smiled, "That was smart. Where do the dragons come in?"

Tyrion said grinning, "Oh that's easy. One day one saw Aldarra reading a book in a field of wildflowers, one landed by her, it let her pet and kiss him. Neither of us can figure out why they picked her, then me too."

Aldarra said conspiringly, "Hey Jon, wanna meet them?"

Jon smiled real big and said, "Yeah."

Tyrion said, "You best not kiss them right away. They may not like your breath." They all laughed.

Aldarra said, "Oh Tyrion, you asked if you could kiss them right away." Everyone chuckled.

Tormund walked in with food and sat next to Aldarra at the table a bit too close and said, "You sure are a pretty little thing." Jon grins and waits to see what happens.

Aldarra looks over at him and scoots closer to Tyrion. She said, "You sure are a grizzly looking ginger aren't you? A little ripe too."

Tormund threw his head back and laughed. He said, "I like a woman with spunk."

Jon said, "This here is Aldarra, between her dragons and her sword play, she has more than spunk. She brought us all the food and saved my sister too."

Tormund belches and says, "You're a busy woman." Tyren starts fussing.

Aldarra got up and said, "Back in a bit. Going to feed him." She gets up and goes back to her room.

Tormund says smiling, "Lucky little fellow. I'd clamp on something that pretty and never let go." Jon grins at him. Jorah gets up and follows her standing outside her door listening to her sing to her son.

Later after Aldarra leaves the baby with the wet nurse and septa, she finds Jon and pulls him outside. Some of the Night Watch follow to watch. She looks around in the sky and Drogon is the first to come out of the sky and land.

Stannis' daughter Shireen, begged him to let her come see the dragons. Shireen said excitedly, "Oh father, look how big they are."

Stannis said, "I don't think they are completely full grown yet."

Aldarra took Jon by the hand as she and Tyrion walked up to the Drogon, as Viserion landed followed by Rhaegal. Tyrion walked over to Viserion and was talking to him. Aldarra had him let Drogon smell his hand and then pet him. She then took him over to Rhaegal and let him meet and talk to him. Tormund stood watching them in shock at a distance. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. The pretty woman took Jon by the hand and put it on the dragon's face.

Aldarra asks, "Do you want to have a go at it alone, Jon? It's a clear day, not many of them up here I bet."

Tyrion said walking up to them, "I don't think the dragons are eating well." She noticed the piles of bones on the ground looked lean in volume of their usual fare.

Jon asked curiously, "What's wrong with them?"

Aldarra shrugged and said, "I don't think they don't like the North, it's too cold for them probably."

She touches Drogon's nose, petting him frowning. Rhaegal looks at Jon and gets closer to him, nudging him. Tyrion climbs on Viserion's back and buckles in.

Aldarra nods towards Rhaegal at Jon and says, "Go on, Jon." Jon looks at the dragon, unsure as to what to do.

Jon said, a little scared, "I don't know how to ride a dragon."

Aldarra said laughing, "Nobody does. Until they ride a dragon."

Jon said hesitantly, "What if he doesn't want me to?

Tyrion said sarcastically, "Then we've enjoyed your company, Jon Snow." Jon walks around the side of Rhaegal and then climbs on top whilst grunting.

Jon asked confused, "What do I do?"

Aldarra said, "Just buckle in your legs and hips."

Jon grabs the buckles and fastens it on his legs and a belt around his hips. He grabs on to the front of the saddle, the dragon, which then proceeds to lift off whilst chittering. Aldarra watches and smiles, before leaning forwards, causing Drogon to follow suit. The dragons continue to fly higher, Rhaegal turns side-to-side causing Jon to yell out. They fly over the soldiers outside Castle Black and past Stannis, Davos with Shireen who are standing at the castle wall watching, staring in disbelief. Drogon flies ahead of Rhaegal and continues higher before nosediving; Rhaegal follows after his brother. They continue calmly before reaching a canyon, where the dragons dive straight down, before flying along the canyon floor. Once out of the canyon, Rhaegal returns to the castle, so Aldarra instructs Drogon to do the same. She lands down next to Jon. Tyrion on the other side of them. They all three dismounted from their dragons, thanked them, and walked together away from the dragons to the castle.

Jon smiled and said to Aldarra whilst walking, "You know, you've completely ruined horses for me." She starts laughing with Tyrion as she puts her hand on Tyrion's shoulder.

That night, Melisandre was talking to Stannis. She said, "The woman, Lady Aldarra, will ensure success as you march south with even one of her dragons. You need her to go with you when you leave."

Stannis said, "What if she refuses?"

Melisandre said, "She is a Lannister. By all rights you could put her and her child to death as the enemy because she is the wife of Tywin Lannister."

Stannis said, "She could turn her dragon on us if we threaten her."

Melisandre said, "Not if you have her child as hostage."

Stannis shook his head and said, "I don't like this. I am not comfortable holding a woman's infant hostage to get her cooperation. She has made many friends here."

Melisandre said, "If you do not , you will need to sacrifice your own flesh and blood when the time comes." Davos Seaworth was standing in the other room and overheard them talking. He was in complete shock at hearing that. He walked out the door silently.
