"There was a time when Robotropolis was beautiful. It was then a peaceful city known as "Mobotropolis". But just after my children were born, the evil Doctor Robotnik used his technology... to turn our world..." Aleena said and Robotnik snickered. "...into a place of terror. As the source of Robotnik's money, the aristocrats were left to play, while our people were roboticized... and became slaves. Our royal family was outlawed, a price placed on our heads."

Sonic and Manic snored.

"Then, the Oracle of Delphius revealed the prophecy to me."

"Some day, you will reunite with your children to become the Council of Four... and overthrow Robotnik. But there is a price, Your Highness." Oracle said.

"For the prophecy to be fulfilled, I had to give up my babies."

Aleena sobbed and kissed.

"Huh?" Windermere said and gasped to see Sonia.

"Huh?" a man said and Sonic smiled at him and he gasped followed by his wife.

Manic baby-talked and Farrell smiled, picked him up and patted him on the back as he smiled.

"Have you been studying your lessons, Manic?" Farrell asked.

"Yep!" Manic said.

"Well then...?"

"One sec."

"Oh my! Where is my wallet?" Farrell said and Manic presented him his wallet. "Well done, lad. You're a good boy, a wonderful student. And as a reward..." he said and fumbled. "now where did I... oh, they were right ov-" he said then Manic drummed on the bench and he laughed.

"Reppin' sticks, man!" Manic said, put his silver drumsticks in his pocket and hugged Farrell and he gasped. "Thanks, Farrell."

"Always get the finest, my boy."

"Sonia, no! Come down from there instantly!" Windermere said.

"Okay!" Sonia said.

"Good gracious, child!"

"Now may I go out and play?"

"Of course, my dear." Windermere said so Sonia somersaulted away and Windermere sighed.

"Come on, Sonic! Bath time!" Sonic's father said.

"No bath! No bath!" Sonic said.

"Sonic Hedgehog, I thought I said no revvin' in the house!"

"Rev yes, bath no!"

"Well then, I guess I'll just have to eat all those chili dogs by myself."

"Rub and scrub time!"

Later.

"Sonic, listen to me. Run as fast as you can to Uncle Chuck's. Don't stop and don't look back!" Sonic's father said.

"Why? What about you?" Sonic asked.

"We'll be okay, Sonic. But you know what I need to see? The biggest rev you've ever done!"

"Really? You want me to rev?"

"Sure do, pal. Let's see it."

"We love you, sweetie!" Sonic's mother said.

"Go, Sonic! GO!"

"Citizen. You are under arrest." a Swatbot said and Sonic gasped.

"Oh no!" she cried and returned to the burning house. "Noooo!" she said and gasped.

"Sonny!" Chuck said.

"Huh?" she said and ran to his arms. "Uncle Chuck!" she said and cried.

"It's gonna be all right, sonny girl."

10 years later.

"It'll take all your speed to get through that prototype shield Robotnik's puttin' up, sonny." Chuck said.

"No problemo, Uncle Chuck! "Fast" is my middle name." Sonic said.

"Eh, can't argue there!" he said and chuckled. "But just remember: you can't let Robotnik seize ya! Keep your speed up!"

"Yeah, what's up with that, Unc? How come I have to be so careful?"

"Eh, because if he found out who was takin' out all his factories, he'd be huntin' you all the time! Whoa, come on girl! Jelly and jam time!" he said and she coughed.

"That's juice and jam, Unc."

"Oh." he said and they laughed. "Okay, girl. Be careful!" he said, pressed a button and let her out. "Good luck, Sonic!"

Meanwhile.

"Shield status!" Robotnik said.

"Shields ready, sir." a robot said.

"Good. Activate!" he said and the robot pulled a lever to raise the shield. "Now if the Resistance uses their secret weapon, they'll be in for a big surprise!" he said and bellowed with laughter.

Meanwhile.

"You don't have to do this, sonny." Chuck said.

"Got to, Uncle Chuck. If I don't bust through that force-field, Robuttnik'll put 'em around every factory. Not to worry, been practisin', Unc. Gotta do it to it!" Sonic said. "See ya!" she said and zoomed away.

Meanwhile.

"Prepare to lift off!" Robotnik said.

"Sir, motion sensors detect fast-approaching object." the robot said.

"Radar?"

"Too low, sir."

"Ahhh, can't wait!"

Meanwhile.

"Just... a little... faster!" Sonic said strained.

"Almost there, sonny! Give it all you got!" Chuck said.

"Yaaaahhhh!" she said and penetrated the shield. "No way I'm stoppin'! Just a little... more!" she said and broke the shield down. "YEAH!"

Meanwhile.

"It destroyed my force-field! Nothing can be that fast! What is it?!" Robotnik said.

"Yes!" Sonic said.

"Explosives! The factory's going to blow! Lift off, military speed! Guhhh!" he said and the ship took off as the factory exploded. "Whaaaaa!" he said and the robot bumped into him. "Oh, get off me, you stupid bag of bolts!"

"Analysis of secret weapon is now complete." the robot said.

"Excellent! Report."

"Sensors indicate that the subject is blue, sir."

"Blue? That's all?!"

"Yes, sir." the robot said and Robotnik growled.

Later.

"You cut 'em bad, sonny. Robotnik won't recover from that for a while. I'm gonna see if I can find a doctor, sonny." Chuck said and sniffed. "Don't you do nothin' stupid while I'm gone, you hear me?" he said and sniffed.

"What? Who?" Sonic said.

"The time has come, Sonic." Oracle said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

"Sonic, your destiny awaits."

"Yeah, tell it to wait outside. I'm too tired to care."

"Easily remedied."

"Gooooood mornin' Robotropolis! Oh yeah, I'm up!" she said and landed on the couch. "Oof! I'm wide awake? How'd you do that? And who are you?"

"I am the Oracle of Delphius."

"The what of who?" she asked and he magically created a table and chairs. "Oh, okay, I'm dreamin', right?" she said and he created a batch of chili dogs. "Whoaaa, this dream is way past cool!" she said, chomped and slurped.

"Now that I have your attention, it is time you found out who you are... Princess Sonic!" he said and she chomped and gulped.

"Mmm? Prince?"

"Yes, Princess Sonic. And you are not alone in your quest."

"Yeah, I know, I got Unc and the other Freedom Fighters."

"You also have a brother and a sister." he said and she spit.

"WHAT?!"

Meanwhile.

"Enter, bounty hunters!" Robotnik said.

"Oh, sir! Thank you for seeing us, sir! How may we serve Your Royal Greatness? Your wish is our command, sir. You have only to ask, Your Amazingness!" Sleet said.

"What I want from you is for you to swear to my service."

"Oh yes, Your Most Powerfulness! We are deeply flattered, but you see, sir, we are independent contractors."

"Yeah, we're in, erm... in... eh... we work, er, by ourselves." Dingo said.

"SILENCE! From now on, you work for me." Robotnik said

"Oh, but sir, we have other-" Sleet said and Robotnik fired lasers at them. "Whoa, ow, ow!"

"Will you stop that!" Dingo said and spluttered.

"Then again, perhaps it is time we made a change."

"Excellent. I knew you'd see it my way." Robotnik said and switched on a monitor. "This is the Freedom Fighters' secret weapon. It has plagued me for over a year, and I want it found and destroyed! Do you understand?"

"Yes." Dingo said.

"Yes. Leave it to us, sir. Whatever it is, consider it destroyed!" Sleet said.

Meanwhile.

"Sorry about spittin' the chili on you, Orc. Wow, a brother and a sister! But where are they?" Sonic said.

"They are close. But to find them, you must sing the song that is in your heart, young hedgehog." Oracle said.

"Hey, whoa, whoa, wait! What song? How come nobody ever says what they mean? Song in my heart? What does that mean?!" she said and her medallion glowed ."Whoa, my medallion..." she said and a guitar appeared. "Huh?"

["Someday" plays]

"What was that?" Manic said.

"What was that?" Sonia said.

"They're out there!" Sonic said.

Meanwhile.

"Freeze frame and enlarge. How can anything go that fast?" Sleet said.

"It, er, slows down when it hits that red thing." Dingo said.

"Well, well, well, once in a while you do come up with something, don't you? Advance to point of contact, extract image and enlarge. Aha! It's not a machine."

"Hedgehog?! IT'S A BLASTED HEDGEHOG?!" Robotnik said.

"Yes, sir. Would you like us to-?"

"No! Dismissed."

"But Your Greatness..."

"DISMISSED!" Robotnik said and Sleet and Dingo walked away. "Hmm... could it be them? If it is... the prophecy!"

"Aahh!" Robotnik said.

"Robotnik, your days of tyranny are numbered!" Oracle said.

"Guards!" Robotnik said and the Oracle froze him with magic. "Argh!"

"You will listen. One day, Queen Aleena and her three children will form the Council of Four. On that day, your reign of tyranny will end!"

"They're still out there! Then I'm declaring war on the Resistance!"

Meanwhile.

Manic gasped.

"I've heard that riff before!" he said.

"Riff? I don't hear any music." Farrell said.

"Meet you back at the hideout."

"Manic, are you okay, kid?"

"I'm cool, Farrell! Later."

Meanwhile.

"Good grief, Sonia! What kind of place have you brought us to?" Bartleby said.

"Hush, Bartleby! I know there's a club around here somewhere! And I've heard the music there really rocks!" Sonia said.

"Simply cannot wait!" he said and she gasped.

"I know that song!"

"What song? Oh, wonderful. You drag me to the bowels of the city to hear imaginary music. How could it get any better!"

Later.

"Mind if I sit in, dude?" Manic asked.

"You guys are great!" Sonia said.

Then Bartleby gasped and the audience panicked as a Swatbot arrived.

"Who are you guys?" Sonia asked.

"We're your brother and sister!" Sonic said.

"Huh?" Sonia said and Manic gasped.

"We are?" he said.

"I'll get you out of here! Meet me in the public square in two hours. I'll fill ya in!" Sonic said.

Meanwhile.

"Monitor 1, repeat footage. Freeze! Bring up Queen Aleena's brats. Execute retinal scan." Robotnik said.

"Processing." the computer said.

"Your raids were very efficient, luckily for you."

"Retinal scan completed."

"Well...?"

"Retinal match confirmed for all three subjects. Probability: 100 percent."

"It's them! Cross search against all known citizens."

"One match only. Sonia: ward of Lady Windermere."

"Seize the girl, and Lady Windermere, too!"

Meanwhile.

"Farrell!" Manic said and picked up a shred of cloth. "Farrell?"

Meanwhile.

"Citizens. You are under arrest." a Swatbot said.

Sonia gasped, headed to the door and gasped again.

"Let go of me, you brutes!" Windermere said and Sonia gasped. "Run, Sonia! Run!"

"Ooh... pretty!" Dingo said.

"Oh no!" Sonia said.

Meanwhile.

"Halt, citizen. You are under arrest." a Swatbot said.

Later.

"And they got my Uncle Chuck!" Sonic said.

"We must find Lady Windermere!" Sonia said.

"And Farrell!" Manic said.

"You're right! Let's do it to it!" Sonic said then the Oracle appeared and they gasped.

"I'm sorry, young hedgehogs. I'm afraid you're too late." Oracle said.

"Farrell!" Manic said.

"No!" Sonic said.

"It can't be!" Sonia said.

"It is time for you to explore the power of your medallions." Oracle said.

"I always wondered why I had this."

"Yeah, and why I couldn't bear to take it off!" Manic said.

"Are you ready to begin the journey?" Oracle said.

"Journey? What journey? We have to fight Robuttnik-" Sonic said but was cut off.

"And to fight him, you must make this journey of discovery and bonding! You have powers within you!"

"We do?" Manic said.

"Powers which you will need to fulfill your quest." Oracle said and gave them a map. "Follow this map, and remember: you must learn to work with each other. The fate of Mobius is in your hands!" he said and Manic gasped.

"And who was that?" Sonia asked.

"We've got a long way to go. Come on. I'll explain on the way." Sonic said.

"I'm all alone now."

"Not a chance, sis."
