Life seemed ordinary, maybe mundane, and then one day, it took a new direction, like being born again, like starting over, a whole new, new beginning. Shirayuki hadn't expected it, hadn't realized that her life would change trajectory, kind of like a lily, with resilience springing up as life shifts unexpectedly.

And then, there's Zen, who is like a dash of sunlight, an added spark to her life, and with him here, it's different too. She's finding herself opening up more, letting people in, letting things become more and more true and genuine, letting actual friendship form.

With Zen though there's an added element, a kind of extra warmth, a way of helping her push through, not alone despite any obstacles, but together with people who are willing to help her handle whatever obstacles come her way and she'd be willing to help all of them out with whatever obstacles come their way too.

There's a future here, and it's beautiful and honest and real. Sometimes it could get messy, but it is here, that she feels most at peace, most ready to balance this all and keep going, knowing exactly who has her back.

And it's here with Zen too that she feels more hopeful, begins to see a special kind of future, a kind where they can be together despite any obstacles that come against them, and she wants that. This is what Shirayuki wants: a life and a future with Zen.

He reminds her to take breaks when she's ready to collapse, and he loves her and he encourages her. Somehow by his side she discovers more about herself and the energy to face each day anew, restored energy, and so, she hopes that no matter what, they will always be together, strong and resilient like lilies.
