Aldarra landed back in Winterfell and went to find Sansa after thanking Drogon before he flew off. When she got to Sansa's room, she could hear an argument inside.
Aldarra rolled her eyes and said to Jorah, "Go get settled and I'll deal with this." She patted his arm.
When she opened the door, Sansa and Arya were yelling at each other.
Sansa shouted, "What do you want to do, kill me?!" Aldarra slammed the door. Both girls jumped.
Aldarra said, "Nobody is killing anybody named Stark in this castle unless they are already dead. What in the seven hells is going on? It's a sad day when Ned Stark's grown up daughters can't get along. Tell me what's happened to cause such a row?" Aldarra sat down in a chair and looked at them both. They stared at her.
Aldarra spun her finger in the air and said, "Come on with it."
Sansa said, "She found my letter home when Cersei made me write it to get my family to bend the knee."
Arya said, "She betrayed the family doing that."
Aldarra said, "Where has this letter been all this time?"
Arya said, "I guess Maester Luwin had it in his records."
Aldarra asked, "And who found it in his records?" Arya looked uncomfortable.
Arya said, "Maester Wolkan."
Aldarra asked, "And who did he give it to you?" Arya shook her head no.
Arya said , "Littlefinger."
Aldarra leaned back in the chair and folded her arms across her chest. She said smirking, "So Petyr Baelish just happened to ask for a letter in the archives that was so damning and hurtful to Sansa. Now tell me how this came about to be in your possession, Lady Arya?"
Arya said softly, "I was watching him and saw him get it from Maester Wolkan and put it in his room, locking it up. I picked the lock and searched his room and found it in the mattress."
Aldarra said, "You didn't have any idea what he was going to do with it? You had no idea why he hid it? You have no idea that he wanted you to probably find it or that he knew you were watching?" Aldarra raised her eyebrow up and looked at them both. They were both thinking.
Aldarra said, "I just bet he was putting or suggesting things to Sansa to bring you to this point, huh?" Sansa was looking at her feet. Arya looked over at Sansa.
Sansa said, "He has been insinuating that Arya would get to everyone to turn them against me. He said he didn't know where Arya got the letter. I didn't know she saw him get it from Maester Wolkan until now. He even said you were turning Jon against us to bend the knee in King's Landing. He said that he was unmarried and you were unhappily married."
Aldarra said smirking at her, "Sansa, you know I and Jon would never turn against the North. I'm still in love with my husband, it is true, and hoping to make him behave now. All of us secured the troops from the south Lannister, the Reach and I scared the crap out of Martell. I was proud of Jon and how he and Tyrion conducted the showing of the wight. I flew back to make sure you heard immediately that we have help coming."
Aldarra said, "You two have been manipulated to turn on each other by none other than Littlefinger. Ladies, are you going to let him get away with this betrayal?" They both looked at each other.
Sansa said, "I'm sorry I accused you of trying to kill me." Aldarra looked surprised at her.
Arya said, "I'm sorry I thought about it." Aldarra looked at her them both with her mouth open.
Sansa said, "We should have known better. He did the same to mother and Aunt Lysa."
Aldarra spat, "What a right bastard turning sisters against each other from one generation to the next. Arya they manipulated, coerced, beat, tortured and damn near got Sansa raped down there by Joffrey and Cersei. Believe me when I say Sansa was terrified by them. When Joffrey pushed her to the side for Margaery Tyrell, she thought she might be able to go home. I knew what would happen next and took her under my care the next day. I got Tywin to move her into the Tower of the Hand with me. I watched over her after that until they tried to force her to marry Tyrion. Then they tried to boot out Shae and I had enough. I was already mad at him for melting down my father's sword and making two swords. One for his son and one for Joffrey the cruel violent little inbred bastard." Both girls laughed.
Sansa said, "I can't believe Littlefinger manipulated us to this point."
Aldarra and Arya said, "I can." They smiled at each other.
Aldarra said, "I can't believe you thought I would try to seduce Jon. He's like my brother and is like both of your brothers. Look, you two need to talk this out and come to a solution and let me know when we break our fast in the morning." Aldarra stood up and hugged Sansa, kissing her forehead. She turned to Arya and held out her arms to her. Arya smiled and dove in.
Aldarra told her, "Arya, you're gonna love me like family. Just think I'll even give you dragon rides. Now, I have to go and make it up to Shireen, leaving her so long. I missed that little girl."
Sansa asked, "Where's your baby?"
Aldarra said, "Down south being protected by his father. I'm flying Shireen down there after I talk to her. I want my children away from here so I don't have to worry about them. It would destroy me if they got hurt in any way."
Sansa hugged Aldarra and said, "I really missed you, so much." She wrapped her in her arms.
Aldarra said, hugging Sansa, "I know. I left to get the dragonglass, then eliminated a quarter of the wrights above the Wall, healed Jon and went with Jon to make sure we got southern support with proof. Meantime, I missed you, Shae and Shireen. I never got to meet Bran or Arya properly. But I'm glad I stopped this before it escalated anymore. Deal with Baelish once and for all."
Sansa said, "We need to talk to Bran, Arya." Arya nodded. Aldarra walked to the door and waved, smiling goodbye.

Two days later in the Great Hall of Winterfell, Sansa and Bran and Aldarra stands behind both of them at the great table, with Maester Wolkan standing to the side. The room is filled with northmen. The guards escort Arya into the hall, and leave her standing alone in front of the table. Arya looks around and spies Yohn Royce, then Baelish.
Arya asked, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Sansa said, "It's not what I want. It's what honor demands."
Arya asked, "And what does honor demand?"
Sansa said, "That I defend my family from those who would harm us. That I defend the North from those who would betray us."
Arya said, "All right, then. Get on with it."
Sansa said, "You stand accused of murder. You stand accused of treason. How do you answer these charges, Lord Baelish?"
Sansa and Arya turn their heads towards Littlefinger, as do the others in the room. Baelish is dumbfounded.
Arya said, "My sister asked you a question."
Baelish said, "Lady Sansa, forgive me, I'm a bit confused."
Sansa said, "Which charges confuse you? Let's start with the simplest one: you murdered our aunt, Lysa Arryn. You pushed her through the Moon Door and watched her fall. Do you deny it?"
Baelish, "How do you know…"
Sansa said, "You did it to take power in the Vale. Earlier, you conspired to murder Jon Arryn. You gave Lysa the Tears of Lys to poison him. Do you deny it?"
Baelish said, "Whatever your aunt might have told you, she was a troubled woman. She imagined enemies everywhere."
Sansa said, "You had Aunt Lysa send a letter to our parents telling them it was the Lannisters who murdered Jon Arryn when, really, it was you. The conflict between the Starks and the Lannisters, it was you who started it. Do you deny it?"
Baelish said adamantly, "I know of no such letter."
Sansa said, "You conspired with Cersei Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon to betray our father, Ned Stark. Thanks to your treachery, he was imprisoned and later executed on false charges of treason. Do you deny it?"
Baelish said panicking, "I deny it! None of you were there to see what happened. None of you knows the truth."
Bran said, "You held a knife to his throat." He turns to face Bran, surprised at this knowledge he has.
Bran said, "You said, "I did warn you not the trust me.'"
Arya said, "You told our mother this knife belonged to Tyrion Lannister, but that was another one of your lies. It was yours." Arya draws the knife.
Baelish said begging, "Lady Sansa, I have known you since you were a girl. I've tried to protect you."
Sansa said incredulously, "Protect me? By trying to sell me to the Boltons? Good thing Aldarra was there to convince me to leave with her instead of you." Aldarra put her hand on her shoulder and Sansa reached up patting it.
Baelish said, "If we could speak alone, I can explain everything."
Sansa said, "Sometimes when I'm trying to understand a person's motives, I play a little game. I assume the worst. What's the worst reason you have for turning me against my sister? That's what you do, isn't it? That's what you've always done turn family against family, turn sister against sister. That's what you did to our mother and Aunt Lysa and that's what you tried to do to us. Aldarra figured it out before any more damage could be done." Baelish looked up at Aldarra as she smiled at him.
Baelish begged and flung himself on the table as Aldarra had her knife drawn pointed in his face, "Sansa, please."
Sansa said, "I'm a slow learner, it's true. But I learn."
Baelish begged, "Give me a chance to defend myself. I deserve that." Sansa nods.
Baelish demanded to Yohn Royce, "I am Lord Protector of the Vale and I command you to escort me safely back to the Eyrie."
Yohn Royce said, "I think not." Baelish kneels before Sansa in the middle of the floor facing the high table.
Baelish said begging and pleading, "Sansa, I beg you! I loved your mother since the time I was a boy."
Sansa said stoically, "And yet, you betrayed her."
Baelish said, "I loved you. More than anyone."
Sansa said, "And yet, you betrayed me." Sansa rises.
Sansa said, "When you wanted to bring me back to Winterfell from King's Landing, you told me there's no justice in the world, not unless we make it. Thank you for all your many lessons, Lord Baelish. I will never forget them."
Arya steps briskly towards Baelish. He cried out, "Sansa! (GASPS) I–"
Arya slashes his throat with his own knife, swiftly. She returns tableside, and everyone watches as Petyr Baelish dies.

Sansa, Aldarra and Arya stand on the ramparts. Arya asked, "Are you all right?"
Sansa said, "It's just strange. In his own horrible way, I believe he loved me."
Aldarra said, "He probably did in his warped opportunistic manipulating way."
Arya said, "You did the right thing."
Sansa said, "You did it."
Arya said, "I'm just the executioner. You passed the sentence. You're the Lady of Winterfell."
Sansa asked, "Does that bother you?"
Arya said, "I was never going to be as good a lady as you. So I had to be something else. I never could have survived what you survived."
Sansa said, "You would have. You're the strongest person I know." Aldarra smiled at them.
Arya said smirking, "I believe that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me."
Sansa said smirking, "Well, don't get used to it. You're still very strange and annoying." Aldarra giggled at them, making them smile.
Arya said, "In winter, we must protect ourselves. Look after one another."
Sansa said, "Father said, 'When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives."
Arya said, "I miss him."
Sansa said, "Me, too."
Aldarra said, "I think he would be proud of all of you. I know I am." Arya and Sansa both hugged Aldarra.

Ravens caw as Tormund and Beric patrol on the top of the wall. They look out towards the North.
Beric said, "It's a long way down."
Tormund said, "Yeah. The crows keep telling me I'll get used to it. Figures start to emerge from the forest.
A man shouts, "I can see movement. Watch, on the tree line!"
Another man shouts, "What is it?!"
A huge undead army emerges from the trees. The white walkers are mounted, holding a spear. Dark clouds swirl. A horn blares as the undead army gets closer to the wall. The undead army stops, and all is still.
Atop the wall, Tormund and Beric look out nervously. The Night King emerges with a blue electric giant ball. Tormund and Beric stare in disbelief. The Night King rides up to the Wall. Tormund and Beric hurry down from the watchtower.
Tormund shouts, "Come on! Run! Run!"
The Night's Watchmen flee as the Night King attacks the wall with the blue electric giant ball as it is lobed into the Wall. The wall begins to buckle and fall. The stairways shake and destruct. Many fall to their deaths. The undead army watches, motionless. Tormund and Beric barely escape from the collapsing section of the wall. Once it has come to the ground, the undead army starts to advance. The army seems endless, and includes undead giants. The Night King leads from his horse. The undead march south of the Wall.
