Danny's Other Choice

Part 2

Lunette

Inside an average home in Amity Park, a 41-year-old woman named Lin Glynn-Kaye, was preparing breakfast in the kitchen, being pancakes.

"Lunette! Breakfast's ready!" Lin called for her daughter with her British accent.

"I'm coming, Mom! Just give me a minute!" The 14-year-old teenage girl named Lunette called from upstairs as she was preparing herself, ensuring her mother that she would come down soon.

Lin was originally coming from the United Kingdom, raised on a sheep farm outside the Welsh town of Aberystwyth. Though her family has been herding sheep for 6 generations, Lin on the other hand had a big passion for photography and had dreams to see more of the world. As it wasn't easy in her early years, Lin's determination had finally paid off and was able to convince her sheep herders family to allow her to follow her passion, becoming a professional photographer after she'd earned her bachelor's degree at the university of London.

During Lin's travels around the world, shooting many pictures beautiful pictures of nature and wildlife, selling them to people or companies who hired her, like National Geographic, she met a man named, Sean Kaye. The both of them didn't fell in love instantly, but had become quickly friends, which in time developed into a romantic relationship and the two of them married 3 years after they first met.

Sean, Lin's husband, was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and was a scholar and an intelligent student during his youth, wanting to become a teacher. After finishing High School with great honors, he'd earned a scholarship at Yale University where he scored multiple high degrees in science.

When Sean was offered a position as a science professor at University Heights in Cleveland, he and Lin settled down in Amity Park.

And sometime later, after the both of them had received American Citizenship, their oldest child and daughter, Lunette was born on January 25 of 1990. 8 years later, on May 8 of 1998, their second child and son, Thomas was born.

Lin sighed, knowing that her husband couldn't be with them during breakfast during the business days as he always had to leave early to be on time at the university. As for Lin, because of her skills as a professional photographer, she opened her very own photo studio a few blocks away from the Amity Park Mall.

At the dining table, sat the 5-year-old boy, Thomas, jumping with enthusiasm on his chair "Please, mommy, can I have some pancakes? I'm hungry!"

Lin chuckled, ensuring her son, "Calm down, Thomas. Just a few more minutes."

Coming from the stairs, Lunette had come down and entered the dining room.

Lunette had blue eyes and having has long brown hair which she'd tied up into a ponytail and is wearing braces. Her outfit consists of a blue wool sweater with a zipper yellow shirt, while wearing underneath a yellow shirt, black jeans and blue boots.

Lunette, like her father, is a bright student, while she's also considered as a 'tomboy gamer chick', having loved videogames ever since she was young, which is the reason she's part of Casper High's 'Gaming Club', dreaming to become a game developer one day. But she also likes to read comic books and mangas, taking inspiration from them and learn things from them when she likes to experiment with video game genres, and even gaming music. The teenage girl is someone who feels more comfortable with a small group of her close, trusted and true friends. Because of her bad experience with bullies, she grew a bit of anxious and shy personality, being afraid that she might say something wrong, especially to boys. But, despite her few flaws, Lunette is a loyal friend who would never ditch anybody for popularity, money or beauty and would never sell anybody's secret, even if she's forced to use her imaginations to make up small lies.

"Good morning." Lunette said as she puts her backpack on 1 of the chairs and planted a kiss on her little brother's head "Morning little guy."

"Hi, Lulu!" Thomas said with a smile.

Lunette rolled her eyes in amusement, knowing it's always hard for little Thomas to pronounce her full name right, and just called her Lulu which was easier for him. Lunette didn't mind, as she loves her little brother and the two of them have been very close, with Lunette babysitting her younger sibling in exchange for some extra allowance whenever her parents were going out.

Lin came from the kitchen, holding a plate with a pile of freshly made pancakes. Thomas licked his tongue across his lips and impatiently wanted to go and grab one "Oh, gimme, gimme!"

Lin chuckled and rubbed his hair while putting a few pancakes on his plate "Calm down, Thomas. Calm down."

But as Lunette was going to take some pancakes, she sighed with relief "Oh, it looks delicious." and puts some of pancakes on her plate "It's so nice to have some actual food to eat." Lunette said before putting syrup on her pancakes.

Lin was surprised to hear that from Lunette while Thomas eats his pancakes fast "What do you mean?"

Lunette sighed while rolling her eyes "Yesterday, the school decided to change the lunch menu and replace it with Ultra Recyclo-Vegetarian food." She shivered as the thought of tasting that 'Grass on a Bun' and 'Topsoil' yesterday was disgusting "If they're gonna serve that kind of food again at school, I'm gonna get sick."

Lin had heard something about this new kind of food and asked her, "Ultra Recyclo-Vegetarian food? I heard a few of my customers talking about it. As they're vegan themselves, they claim that it's the healthiest food in the world and the best alternative to replace all meat."

Lunette narrowed her eyes at her mother, "Trust me, Mom. That stuff is garbage and tastes like… garbage."

Hearing that made Thomas laugh "Hahahahaha! Lulu eats garbage at school! Hahahaha!"

"It's not funny, Thomas," Lunette glared at her little brother.

Lin then suggested to her daughter, feeling bad for her, "Well, honey, if you don't want to eat any of that stuff they serve now at the school's cafeteria, you can just make lunch her and take it with you?"

Lunette ensured her mother while taking a bite from her pancakes "That's what I was planning to do. Don't worry."

They all continued eating their breakfast in peace, enjoying Lin's delicious pancakes.

Lunette then thought back when she and the other members of their 'Gaming Club' decided that they need a new picture for their club and put it on the website of the school. Lunette knew that her best friend, Danuta had promised to take her camera to school so she and the club could do the little shooting. But then Lunette also reminded herself that Danuta can sometimes forget these things as her mind is mostly on studies or other stuff.

Normally, Lunette would leave her doubts and trust her friend enough that she won't forget the camera.

But this time… knowing that her mother is a professional photographer, Lunette would ask her mother something that, unknown yet to Lunette, would change her life forever.

"Uhm… Mom?" Lunette asked.

"Yes, honey?" Lin said with a smile.

"Uhm…" Lunette was a bit too shy to ask.

But Lin knew her daughter better than anyone and ensures her in a warm calming way "Hey, sweetheart, whatever you want to ask me, you don't have to hold things back from me. Just ask."

Lunette took a deep breath and said, "Okay… Can I… borrow one of your cameras and take it to school with me today?"

Link raised an eyebrow at her "You need one of my photo cameras? But why?"

"I, uhm…" again, she was too scared to tell, as a result because she's having anxiety from time to time. But, taking the bit of courage she had left, she explains "My… friends at the club want to… make some new photos for the club so we can put them on the Casper High website!" she gave a nervous smile.

Seeing why she needed a camera, Lin chuckled "Oh, that's all? Not to worry, sweetheart. You can borrow one of my old cameras if you like?"

Lunette was both relieved and happy "Thanks, Mom."

"You're welcome."

Less than an hour later, after they had all eaten their stomachs full, Lin went upstairs to her workroom while Lunette prepared herself a few sandwiches with jelly to take with her to school and also helped Thomas preparing his schoolbag.

As it was almost time to go, Lunette got nervous that she would come late at school. She wanted to call to her mother to hurry up, but she got too nervous to say that out loud and would disrespect her mother.

But thankfully, Lin walked down the stairs, holding an old Kodak Star 735 35mm camera.

"Sorry that it took so long, honey. I had to find some film and put it in for you. Thankfully, I still have some left. So, here you go, Lunette," Lin said as she handed over the photo camera to Lunette "One photo camera for you."

Lunette took the camera, raising an eyebrow when looking at it. Honestly, she'd hoped that her mother would give her one of those new digital cameras for her to use. But not wanting to be rude and knowing she could come to her photo studio to develop any pictures she might take and how she could make them, she smiled at her mother "Thanks, Mom."

"You're welcome, honey." Lin then checked the clock, seeing that she has to bring Thomas to kindergarten, or he'll be late "Oh, dear! We better go, Thomas or you're going to get late for school."

Thomas nodded and took her mother's hand while they, together with Lunette walked out the door.

As Lin puts Thomas in the backseat of the car, Lunette puts her bike helmet on before unlocking her bicycle.

"Have a good time at school, Lunette." Lin said to her daughter.

Lunette nodded as she stepped on her bicycle and drove away, heading to Casper High "I'll try, Mom. See you later!"

Lunette drives a bit faster, not wanting to be late.

However, after a 15-minute bike ride and she finally made it to school, she was surprised to see that there were a huge crowd gathered in front of the school.

"The heck? What is going on?" she wandered while putting her bicycle on the bicycle stand and put the chain on it.

On one side, there were people protesting to have meat back on the school menu by barbecuing hamburgers, eating all kinds of food like hotdogs or other kinds of meat, people wearing steak outfits or raising signs that said either; 'MEAT IS NEAT' or MEAT GIVES YOU A BUTT.

On the big stage, some girls wearing weenie costumes were dancing while the crowd cheered. Then, an African American student named Tucker Foley walked on stage, calling to the crowd using his mike "WHAT DO WE WANT?!"

"MEAT!" the crowd cheered.

"WHEN DO WE WANT IT?!"

"NOW!"

Lunette looked to the other side, showing there were a big crowd of hippies, goths and other people being in favor to keep the 'new Ultra Recycle-Vegetarian menu'.

On top of a school bus, the female goth student named Sam Manson called out to those who agreed with her, with the people cheering with her "VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER! VEGGIES NOW! VEGGIES FOREVER!"

"Two protests at the same time?" Lunette asked, but as she looked closely, she noticed that most of the students at school were on the MEAT SIDE "By the looks of it, it seems most of the school is against the new vegan menu."

That was when Lunette saw her best friend, Danuta, who walked over to her.

Danuta Gabor is 15 years old, being only 4 months older than Lunette, having half-long light copper red hair and wearing glasses. Her outfit consists of a purple/pink striped shirt, a rosé skirt with a pink flower on and dark pink shoes. Lunette and Danuta have been best friends as long as they could remember, having met when they were in Pre-School and are as close as sisters.

Danuta's father, Damek Gabor is a Polish-Hungarian man born in Budapest but moved in 1972 to America with his parents to flee the communist government as his mother, Anastasia, was a journalist who wanted to spread the truth about the government's lies instead the constant censoring propaganda that all other journalists are forced to publish. Living in Philadelphia, while Danuta's grandmother easily got a job as a news reporter for the local tv-station, Danuta's grandfather joined the police force for a few years before becoming a private detective which he did until his retirement. Damek on the other hand became a construction worker after he successfully completed a Phd course in Engineering. And a few years later, he met Danuta's mother, Lisa Baker, during a construction job in Baltimore, and married her in 1987, with Danuta born 2 years later on September 20, 1989.

Unlike Lunette, Danuta is a hardworking, observant and curious girl, being inspired by her grandparents to help anybody in need and serving justice on those who mean harm, which is why she became part of the school's newspaper in the hopes of becoming a successful journalist after graduation. Just like Lunette, she is a loyal friend who truly supports her loved ones however she can, seeing herself as a girly girl with tomboy streak and wants to feel girly while enjoying some boyish stuff at the same time. Usually, she is the calm one, but when confronting someone mean, she gets quite upset. But, despite her flaws and insecurities, Danuta has good intentions and wouldn't expose somebody's secret right away without doing proper research first. Though she's also into the 'Gaming Club' with Lunette and play video games with her and the others from time to time, Danuta's other hobbies are literature, crossword, economy, history and learning foreign languages as she can speak besides English, French and Spanish, she too has learned Polish and Hungarian whenever she would visit her ancestors' homelands.

"Hey, Lun!" Danuta said as she greeted her best friend "Guess you've noticed the protests too, huh?"

Lunette nodded "Yeah. I never expected to see any large of protests so fast after they changed the menu yesterday."

Danuta narrowed her eyes as she pointed to Sam and Tucker, standing with their other friend Danny Fenton, arguing, while Danny tried to ease the situation "It's Manson and Foley who organized all this. Foley and the other 'meat-eaters' want the old menu back, while Manson and her fellow goths and hippies want to keep the school's new vegan-menu in place."

Lunette narrowed her eyes as well as she looked at Danny, Sam and Tucker, not because she thought all of these protests and arguing was pointless but was also a bit angry that they forced their best friend to pick a side. Lunette felt bad for Danny.

"Don't you guys think this is a little extreme?" Danny asked, not wanting to make this worse than it is.

"No choice, buddy." Tucker angrily said, "You're either with me."

"Or you're against him!" Sam added.

"So, whose side are you on?!" both angrily asked Danny, wanting him to make a choice, and probably risking losing 1 of his best friends.

Suddenly, a big wind blew over the schoolyard while a woman's voice was laughing maniacally.

Lunette and Danuta looked up in shock, same with the rest of the school. Then, all the meat flew away, with the few trucks carrying more meat broke out as the big pile of meat merged together, attaching themselves to the Lunch Lady Ghost, becoming a giant meat monster with glowing green eyes.

"IT'S LUNCH TIME!" the Lunch Lady ghost yelled, making all the people scream and run away.

While Danuta ran away, Lunette stood frozen while looking in shock at the meat monster.

When Danuta noticed that Lunette wasn't with her, he turned and tried to call to her while she was pulled away because of the big fleeing crowd "Lun! Lun, get out of there! LUN!"

While Lunette looked back to where Danuta was taken, she then saw a teenage-looking boy with white hair, green glowing eyes and wearing a black/white jumpsuit flying towards the meat monster, ready to face it.

"Who is that?" Lunette asked.

While the Lunch Lady tried to grab Danny, he easily avoided her before kicking her hard against the back of her meat covered head, making her crash on the ground, making the ground shake!

Lunette fell backwards as a result of the shaking ground, making her to crawl backwards and hide behind a destroyed meat truck, watching the ghost boy facing the meat monster.

"If only the others could see this," Lunette said, being astounded by watching the fight. Realizing that she has her mother's old camera with her, made Lunette make her eyes go wide in surprise and quickly took out the camera "What the hell am I saying?! I CAN show them!" she aimed her camera and made several pictures of the fight.

As the Meat-covered Lunch Lady Ghost suddenly delivered a heavy punch on Danny, making him fly high in the air. Lunette gasped while having taken the perfect shot of him being hit by the meat monster, but then looked relieved when the ghost boy, colliding with speed against the monster, destroying it in a big meat-explosion, creating a crater!

Lunette hides herself while lots of meat fell on the ground.

She then looked, seeing the ghost boy crawling out of the crater. Lunette gasped as a ghost, looking like a typical school's lunch lady, floated to the ghost boy, asking if he was okay.

"Oh, dear. What a mess. Are you ok?" Lunch Lady asked with her sweet voice.

Danny rubbed his left arm "Yeah, I think so."

Suddenly, the Lunch Lady ghost turned angry "TOUGH, because you being ok is not part of my balanced diet of doom!" she then summoned several meat monsters to fight him.

Lunette quickly took several more shots as the ghost boy fought the meat monsters.

But suddenly, Lunette was grabbed by the arm, making her yelp before she noticed it was her best friend, Danuta.

"What are you doing here, Lun?! We got to get out of here!" Danuta said before dragging her with her as it was too dangerous.

"But, I-" Lunette tried to tell, but they left the school grounds before she could finish her sentence.

After they were far enough from the school, being like 5 blocks away from Casper High, Danuta let go of Lunette as both tried to catch their breaths, before she grabbed her by the shoulders, asking worriedly, "Are you okay, Lun?"

Lunette ensured her while catching her breath "I'm fine, Danu… I'm okay…"

"Jesus…! What were you thinking? You could've gotten hurt."

"I…" Lunette held up her mother's old camera "took some pictures."

"What?!" Danuta asked, being nearly shocked "You took pictures while a giant monster was attacking the school?!"

With a nervous smile, Lunette slowly nodded "Yeah…"

That made Danuta curious and asked, "Did you make some good ones?"

"I…" Lunette shrugged, being a bit doubtful if the shots she took were good "I think so, but-"

"Well, let me see." Danuta asked, being even more curious.

Lunette however showed her that the camera isn't digital one "Sorry, Dana. My Mom gave me one of those old Kodak cameras. It's gonna take some time before I can print these."

Danuta was a bit disappointed.

Lunette ensured her, "But, we can start developing the pictures after school, right?"

Danuta nodded, but peeked around the corner, watching the school that was covered with lots of pieces of meat "You think it's safe now?"

Lunette looked with her friend, seeing no meat monster or ghost "Only one way to find out." Both walked together back to school "But, Dana…" Lunette said, trying to explain what she saw "… while I was making the pictures, I think it was a ghost that was controlling that meat-monster."

"A ghost?" Danuta asked surprised, before she rolled her eyes, knowing that Lunette always had this feeling that ghosts and aliens do exist "Oh, Lun. Ghosts don't exist."

Lunette stopped her in her tracks, holding out her mother's old camera "I mean it, Dana! I really saw an actual GHOST! And there was this boy… that I think was a ghost too, and… and-and…" she stuttered, as she was frustrated that her best friend didn't believe her.

Danuta held her shoulders, trying to calm her down "Okay, okay, Lun. Calm down. Breath." Lunette took a moment to catch her breath as she nodded, with Danuta ensuring her "We'll… see what's on the pictures later, okay?"

Lunette nodded.

But as they arrived back on the schoolyard, they saw the vice-principal Lancer was dragging Danny, Tucker and Sam inside to his office, saying "The three of you are in a world of trouble for what you did today!"

That was when Principal Ishiyama walked over to Danuta and Lunette "Oh, Miss Kaye. Miss Gabor?" she ensured the two teens "School's been canceled for the day, dears." She then looked at all the meat mess and destruction that the Lunch Lady left behind "I don't think it's wise idea to come to school after what happened here."

When Principal Ishiyama left, Danuta smiled instantly and held Lunette's arm "C'mon, Lun! We can go and develop the pictures you took!" she dragged her with her away.

Seeing Danuta had a point, she formed a small smile and quickly walked away with her best friend, heading to her mother's photo studio.

A few hours later, at Lin's photo studio…

In a dark room which was only having red light, Lunette was carefully developing the film roll from her mother's old camera, using the tank with chemicals carefully, knowing how to make these pictures step by step as her mother has shown her over a hundred times.

On a line, there were already over a dozen pictures drying, showing in almost each one of them the Lunch Lady ghost fighting the ghost-kid, or a few where the ghost boy faced several meat-monsters summoned by the Lunch Lady.

When the picture in the tank of chemicals slowly began to develop, Lunette carefully took it out and hanged it carefully on the line.

Seeing al these pictures that Lunette took, Danuta couldn't believe her eyes while staring into a picture while the ghost-boy faced the giant meat monster ghost "I don't… I don't believe it!" she looked at a picture of an angry looking Lunch Lady ghost while summoning several meat monsters "It's… a ghost! A real ghost!" she then looked at the picture showing the ghost-boy delivered a strong uppercut at a meat monster "Ghosts in real life!"

Lunette nodded "Do you see now, Danu? I told you that it was a real ghost that controlled all the meat and that this teenage ghost was fighting her." deep down, her feeling that ghosts truly are real, made her happy "I've always believed that ghosts exist!"

Danuta's face then turned into amazement as how well these pictures were "These pictures are amazing, Lun…! Oh my gosh! They would look great in the school's newspaper!" she then suddenly got an amazing idea and turned to her best friend with enthusiasm "Lun, you should totally join our school newspaper! With these pictures, I'm very sure they will be impressed."

Lunette looked at her with a shocked look before she turned into uncertainty "I… I don't know, Danu… I… don't think I'm the kind of journalistic material you guys need."

"Are you kidding me?" Danuta asked with surprise, before she tried to encourage her "You took these pictures at the risk of being hurt, Lun! That takes a great amount of courage."

That Danuta thought she was brave to take these pictures, made Lunette feel modest "Uhm… thanks… I guess."

"Just think about it?" Danuta stated, being enthusiastic to have her best friend being part of the school paper "We'll make an amazing team together." She then shrugged, ensuring her, "Well, me being part of the Gaming Club is also nice, but with the both of us being exclusive journalists of the school is way more exiting!"

Lunette wasn't quiet used to Danuta being this… exited. But what Danuta offered her, made her think 'Is this really a good idea? Being part of the school paper team?' she mentally asked herself 'But… I don't have any ambitions to go into journalism. That's more of like Danuta's thing because of her inspiration about her grandparents.' However, as she saw this as a way to perhaps getting deeper into this revelation of ghosts being real and the seemingly heroic teenage ghost, it did made Lunette interested.

She looked back at Danuta, sighed before she said "Well… I… guess I could give it a shot."

Danuta smiled brightly and hugged her tightly "This is gonna be amazing!" she then posed with determination while holding Lunette close and held a pencil in the air "Lunette and Danuta are on the case!" but realizing she was acting a bit too enthusiastic, she released Lunette "Sorry."

Lunette chuckled.

"When will these pictures be ready?" Danuta asked.

"A few more hours," Lunette answered. She then suggested as she took a schoolbook from her backpack "Maybe, while we're waiting, we could finish some of that homework they given us cause school got cancelled?"

Danute nodded, seeing it was the best way to kill some time while waiting for the pictures to be ready. Both left the dark room and went to do their homework in one of the empty rooms.

The next day at Casper High…

As the school bell rings, signaling the end of the day, in the made-up office of the school's newspaper 'Casper Hi-Lited', which was actually a former empty classroom that the people of the school newspaper were allowed to use, Danuta opened the door and entered, with Lunette following her.

"Welcome to the Casper Hi-Lited, Lun!" Danuta happily said while showing her the "Where we spread the news of the school."

The 'office' of the school's newspaper was two class rooms big. In it stood eight separate desks with either computers or old typing machines, a printer in the corner of the room and there was an old big chalkboard on the wall with ideas for the newspaper, news bulletins around school and which story should take page one.

There were only three people in the office, all looking curious to the girl that Danuta brought with her.

Danuta stated before introducing them to her, "It's still early, but the others should come later," both walked over to the first guy at his desk, who was busy putting pieces of paper with words or letters together, probably trying to make the tittle of a story more interesting and catchier "Lun, this is Bradley. He's the layout editor of Casper Hi-Lited. Brad, this is my friend who I told you about, Lunette"

The guy named Bradley, having short blond hair, wearing a bit old-fashioned clothes, smiled and shake hands with Lunette "Hi, Lunette." But accidently glued a few paper letters on her hand that he still had "Whoops. Sorry." He said with an embarrassed look on his face.

Lunette shrugged and easily removed the paper letters from her hand and puts them back on Bradley's desk "That's okay."

Danuta then introduced Lunette to the second one, who was a 17-year-old girl with brown messy hair and wearing a yellow t-shirt, jeans and sport shoes and very busy typing a story she's working on.

"Lunette, this is Linda. She's also a journalist," Danuta introduced her to the girl named Linda "Linda, this is-"

"But Linda, not looking at them, raised her hand and interrupted her "Sorry, Danuta. I can't talk right now. I'm really needed to finish writing this stuff down before it slips my mind."

Lunette raised an eyebrow as how this Linda was very serious, with Danuta whispering to her "Sorry. Linda is very dedicated to the school paper. She has been here since the first day she started at Casper High."

"Which was also the very day the school paper was founded!" Linda added while raising her finger up, still not looking at them as she was really focused on finishing her story.

Both then walked to the third one, who was a 15-year-old boy with short black hair, wearing a black beret, a black shirt, dark jeans and black shoes, looking at Lunette with a raised eyebrow.

"And this is Will, he's the assistant editor and second in command of the Casper Hi-Lited." Danuta introduced him to her friend.

The boy named Will formed a small smile and shook hands with Lunette "Hello. You must be Lunette. Welcome to the Hi-Lited."

Lunette smiled back at him and nodded "Thanks. It's a pleasure, I guess…" she finished with some uncertainty as her anxiety began to come back.

Will ensured her "Hey, relax, we don't bite," he then got to the point and asked Lunette "So, Danuta told us that you have some 'interesting pictures' to show?"

Lunette got very nervous as she slowly reached her hand to her pocket "I… I-I-I… I do, uhm…" she stuttered with her hands shaking. But as Danuta placed her hand on her shoulder, showing her it's alright, Lunette was able to calm herself a bit and took the envelope with the pictures to Will "Here you go… These are the pictures I took when the meat monster attacked."

Will took the envelope, opening it "Well, let's see what you have," but as soon as he saw the pictures, his eyes went wide, seeing the amazingly well-made detailed photos of the action when the 'Meat Monster' attacked the school yesterday during the pro- and anti-meat protest "Did… did you make these?!" Will asked as he was amazed by them.

Lunette scratched the back of her head, giving a small and uncertain nod "Yeah… I did…"

"Lun… these are terrific!" Will cried with enjoyment "I can't wait to see the look on Dylan's face when he sees these!"

Lunette formed a small smile, seeing that even the assistant editor liked her pictures.

Danuta gave her a wink.

A half hour later…

After the other members of the school paper had arrived, including the head editor Dylan Moors, Lunette's pictures were the talk of the meeting, with everyone showing how impressed they were.

Dylan, who's a 16-year-old African American and was dressed in a blue-grey suit with a white shirt and a red tie, looking like he was going to work at an actual office, was thrilled with Lunette's work and asked her, "How would you like to join the school paper? We could really use a photographer like you."

With all the others surrounding her, waiting with anticipation and hopes that Lunette would say yes, Lunette however was still doubting "I… I don't know, I… I'm not so sure if I'll even be a good reporter and-and-"

Dylan simply laughed as he taps her shoulder "Nonsense. With a bit of help and guidance, you'll make a great asset!"

"You… you really think so?"

Will nodded, ensuring her, "Of course. We're a team and we help out each other so we can grow."

Linda, who was finally done with writing her 'perfect story', puts her hand on Lunette's shoulder, having changed suddenly from a very serious reporter to a nice and caring girl "We're all here for ya, Lunette."

But then Dylan, added, raising his hands and ensures her, "But, the choice is all yours, Lunette."

Lunette glanced one more time at Danuta, who gave a thump up to her best friend. She thought about it hard. And… with a big sigh, forming a small smile "Well… since you all want to help me, I…" she then shrugged "I guess it would be nice for a chance-"

Dylan then suddenly slaps her shoulder hard, being happy that she took their offer "Excellent!" He then called to the others as he walked to the chalkboard and began to write "Okay, people! I wanna hear your stories and what to add for this Monday's edition!"

As Lunette sat next to Danuta while the meeting went on and the others shared their stories and/or photos. Danuta hugged Lunette, being so happy that her best friend was now part of the school newspaper team and that they're gonna work together.

After some minutes, Dylan turned to Lunette, asking while hanging one of her photos on the chalkboard while ready to write something, "Lunette! What kind of title do you have in mind for your story?"

Lunette was surprised and a bit scared of being put in the center of attention again, giving a small shrug, not knowing what to name her story, "I… I don't know. I just got here and…"

"Nah, c'mon now, Lun," Dylan insisted "You were in the middle of all the action. I'm sure that something must come to mind?"

Lunette though for a moment "Well…"

4 days later, Monday morning at school…

On the front page of the newest weekly edition of Hi-Lited, was a big picture of the meat-covered Lunch Lady fighting Danny in his ghost form, with a few headlines saying: 'MEAT MONSTER ATTACKS CASPER HIGH!' and 'SCHOOL SAVED BY A GHOST?'

On page 2, there was a picture of Danny destroying some of the Lunch Lady's summoned meat monsters, with the headlines saying: 'WHO IS THE GHOST-BOY?'.

As news reached fast to every student about this new article about the meat-monster that attacked the school last Thursday, everyone was reading the school paper. The paper was sold out so fast that the Hi-Lited members had to print another big pile so every student could read the article.

Danuta, while wiping sweat away from her forehead when giving another set of the new edition of the school paper to one of the members to spread it, chuckled and told Lunette, who was putting more plain papers into the printer "Hahahaha. Can you believe it, Lun? Look at how popular your article is."

Dylan, who was just coming back into the Hi-Lited office, formed the biggest smile he'd ever given "This is the very first time that actually EVERYONE at school wants to read the paper!" he held Lunette's shoulders before hugging her tight "You're a miracle bringer, Lunette!"

Lunette felt modest and chuckled nervously "Uhh… thank you." though she was glad that people liked her first written article, pictures and headlines she came up with, she never expected to receive this much attention and wasn't really used to be the middle of all the attention. But, as it all began to slowly sink in, Lunette began to feel great about it, as if joining the school paper and people liking her story had given her a little boost of self-esteem.

Meanwhile, at the other side of school, Danny, Tucker and Sam were also reading the school paper after Sam managed to snatch a few from one of the students that was handing over the school paper.

Danny looked a bit worried as he hadn't expected that someone had made pictures of him in his ghost form when facing the Lunch Lady, fearing if there was anything in it that says 'DANNY FENTON IS A GHOST!' but so far, he didn't read anything that had exposed his secret identity

"Does it say anything else?!" he asked as he panicked a bit while hastily flipping through the pages.

Tucker shook his head "Nope. Nothing that says the 'ghost kid' is you," he then checked the picture of him facing Lunch Lady's meat monsters "Though, I have to admit that these photos sure got your good side."

Danny, sighed, much to his relief as he made it to the last page of the paper, not finding anything that says that he is exposed having ghost powers "Pfew! Thank goodness that this person didn't catch me transforming." He then smiled "And I got to say that these are really great photos of me in my ghost form." He then checked below the photos, wandering who it was that managed to make these shots of him "Lunette… Kaye. Hey, isn't she the one who we share a few classes with?"

Tucker thought about it, and nodded as he remembered her "Yeah, I remember her. I didn't know that she was shooting pictures for the school paper."

"Neither did I." Danny shrugged.

Sam narrowed her eyes when seeing the name 'Lunette Kaye' who took the pictures and also the article she wrote to state her full experience when witnessing the fight between Danny and the Lunch Lady, before she turned to Danny and told him, "Well, consider yourself lucky, Danny. Before you know it, this 'girl' might take a shot of you 'accidentally' transforming into your ghost form or change back to your normal self."

Danny raises an eyebrow as how Sam reacts towards him.

"You need to keep a low profile whenever fighting ghosts, cause sooner or later, every reporter in town will find out who you are," Sam then warned him "Or this vulture-Kaye." That last word came with venom from her voice, not trusting Lunette one bit, calling her a vulture as she feels how all journalists are.

Though this kind of behavior from Sam wasn't something he liked, Danny did understand that Sam was just worried about him and didn't wanted for him to being exposed of being a ghost-freak. He nodded and raised his hand "Don't worry. I get it. I'll… be more careful next time," he then sighed while looking at his hand that went tangible for a moment before returning back to normal "that is if I manage to finally control my powers and not accidentally go ghost."

Then, the school bell rang, signaling that next class was about to begin.

As the trio began to walk over to their class, Tucker said, "Well, better for you to practice now and hope you won't go ghost during Lancer's class."

Sam narrowed her eyes at Tucker "Tucker, you're not helping!"

Later, during lunch break…

At the table of the A-Listers, who were consisting of the most popular (and richest) kids at school, were either eating their lunch or reading the Meat-Monster article in the school paper.

Star, a blond cheerleader said while she and Valerie Gray read the paper "Can you believe this? Ghosts do exist. It seems the Fentons weren't so wrong about their believes after all."

Valerie shrugged unamused "Whatever. Just because it shows that ghosts do exist, doesn't mean we have to treat Danny Fenton all of the sudden differently as he is still a loser."

Dash Baxter, a blond jock, captain of the football team and biggest bully of Casper High, angrily flipped through the pages as he called out angrily "Where the hell is the part that shows me scoring four touchdowns in the last game?! This school paper has nothing but this ghost-bullshit in it!"

Kwan, who was Dash's best friend, gave a shrug, theorizing "Well, the whole meat-monster attack is kinda the big talk around school, Dash. There's nothing much we can do about it."

Dash narrowed his eyes at Kwan for not 'supporting him' on this one. He turned to Paulina, asking "What do you think, Paulina?"

Paulina, a Latino-American, who's considered the most beautiful girl at school and is head of the cheerleader squad, gave a small shrug while taking out a small mirror and readjust her makeup "Who cares what this stupid school paper says. It's always been nothing but a paper for losers anyway. I say they that they got everyone else at school their attention because of nothing but pure luck."

"It's more than just pure luck, Paulina," a girl told her who'd just walked up to her from behind. Paulina looks back, seeing it was Mia Cross, another member of the A-Listers "Where you see a waste of time, I see potential." Mia finishes with a grin on her face.

Mia Cross is a 14-year-old girl with smooth skin, long black hair that went all the way to her hips and blue eyes, wearing violet eyeshadow and violet lipstick. Her outfit consists of a purple non-sleeve shirt, white skirt with a pink belt that has a golden buckle in the shape of a heart and white sandals. She was also wearing a purple hair clip with 3 small purple flowers on it, gold-diamond earrings and a golden bracelet around her left wrist.

Mia Cross's beauty is considered near as close as Paulina. Though at first glance, she plays the nice, friendly and cheerful act, beneath it she's bossy, manipulative and arrogant, thinking she can get away with anything because her father, Gerald Cross, is the head of the district's school board, with her family from her mother's side being very wealthy ever since her Serbian grandfather made his fortune back in his home country of Yugoslavia before moving to the United States after World War 2 and continued making his fortune as an entrepreneur.

Paulina raised an eyebrow at Mia while she sat down next to Dash, wandering what Mia meant with that she sees potential in the school newspaper.

Dash formed a flirty smirk at Mia "Well, hello there, beautiful."

Mia gave a small giggle "Same to you, hotshot."

"What do exactly mean that you see any potential in that loser school paper?" Paulina asked Mia.

Mia chuckled before she took the newspaper from Dash's hands and held it before Paulina's face "This 'loser paper', Paulina, is our ticket for absolute obedience. Think about it,"

She asked the other A-Listers "How else do you think all the bigshots in America keep showing a good face to the public and make the people pay for anything they make? By using the media of course! We make those loser journalists to print out anything we want and before you know it, everyone will fall in line and do anything we want. Thus, THIS school paper is our way to keep our standards high and keep the students worship us as we, the elite, deserve." She finishes by forming a small evil smile.

Dash thought about it, making him form a smirk "Hey, yeah. If those loser journalists can print out a story that makes the whole school reading it, who knows what they'll do when we put in the paper anything we want?"

Dale nodded, making him chuckle "All those nerds keep doing out bidding."

Kwan however was a bit confused and asked while scratching his head, "But, Dash… aren't we doing that already? I mean, we're already the most popular kids in school. What else are we supposed to gain from them?"

Star nodded, agreeing with Kwan "He has a point, Mia. What's there more to gain as we already have all the attention we want?"

Mia shook her head, seeing how stupid Kwan and Star can be sometimes and narrowed her eyes at them "You two don't see the big picture! Words can just vanish by tomorrow, but the paper is forever. Doing everything ourselves only costs us valuable time, but controlling the paper will make it easier for us to control all these losers at school."

Valerie was a bit doubting, while Paulina formed a small smile, seeing the benefit if Mia's plan, and said, "Well, if you think this'll work, you have our support, girlfriend."

Mia formed a sweet smile, happy that her friend agreed with her.

Star however wandered and asked her, "And how exactly are you planning to make the school paper print out anything we want?"

"I have my ways in order to get what I want," Mia stated and rose up from her chair "And I ALWAYS get what I want, anyway or anyhow." Mia formed an evil smirk, but then winked at her friends "So, you guys just leave it to your dear friend, Mia, okay?" she gave an innocent giggle before she left but not before giving a flirty wink at Dash.

Dash chuckled, liking this side of Mia "Man, that's hot."

Valerie looked at Paulina, giving a unimpressed face while she took a bite from her lunch, and whispered to her "Hey, aren't you gonna try to keep your boyfriend, Dash in line? Cause he's obviously flirting with Mia."

Paulina simply shrugged and whispered back, "Honestly, my relationship with Dash is always on and off. I'm not in for that kind of thing. And truth is…" Paulina watched Dash staring at Mia who was calling someone using her cellphone, with Mia noticing Dash was starting at her and gave him a naughty smirk "… I think he and Mia are a way better match."

Valerie raised an eyebrow at Paulina, being surprised that she just let her (ex)boyfriend go off that easily and even acknowledged herself that Mia is a better suit for Dash than her. But, if this is what Paulina wants, then she won't judge.

The next day…

"So, your parents weren't shocked at all after hearing you took those pictures during the Meat Monster attack?" Danuta asked Lunette as they walked together through the hallways, bypassing a few students while they headed to their next class.

Lunette sighed while she stated, "Actually, they were kind of shocked as I could've gotten hurt. While my mom was kinda impressed with the shots I took, my dad however was worried cause I took this bold move to just jump right into that kind of danger and gave me this lecture that I shouldn't look for trouble just to impress the school."

Danuta shrugged while forming a grin "Well, you DID kinda impressed the whole school with your article and your photos."

"True," Danuta then formed a small smile "But once my dad was done with his part, my mom was actually kinda happy for me that I chose something different and joined the school paper." But then formed a bit of sad face "Though the others at the Gaming Club are kinda worried I won't be spending that much time with them anymore as we used to."

Danuta puts her arm around her shoulders and said, "Nonsense, Lun! I'm part of the Gaming Club too but I don't see the others complaining that much when I'm not around. Just give Mickey and the others some time."

Lunette formed a small smile "Sure. I'll try." But as soon as they were heading into class, Lunette received a message on her phone, seeing it was from Dylan. As she read it, she raised an eyebrow in surprise "Huh? Dylan wants to hold an emergency school paper meeting after school?"

Danuta heard a beep from her phone, and saw on her phone she received the same message.

"What do you think it's about?"

Danuta shrugged and puts her phone back in her bag "I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with the upcoming school dance next week Saturday."

Lancer then walked into class and said with a bit of strict tone while writing something on the chalkboard "Cellphones away, please. Everyone, take your seats."

Lunette puts her phone away and sat at her desk with Danuta sitting next to her.

"Speaking about the school dance, have you already being asked?" Danuta whispered to her friend.

Lunette sadly shook her head "No, not yet."

Later, in the office of Hi-Lited…

After school was over, Lunette and Danuta went to the office of the school paper, with Bradley, Linda and Will following them and the other school paper members. They saw Dylan leaning against his big chair with a bit of sad face.

"Hey, Dylan. We're here," Will said.

"What's this emergency meeting about?" Linda wandered.

Dylan sighed sadly and told his staff with a heavy heart "People…" everyone shared a glance, wandering what's making Dylan so upset "… since I don't want to waste too much of your time, I'm gonna keep this short. As of today… I'm stepping down as head editor of the Casper High Hi-Lited."

Everyone was in complete shock and surprise, not expecting Dylan to quite all of the sudden, especially Lunette and Danuta.

"You quit?!" Will shockingly asked.

Danuta asked him "But… why, Dylan? I thought you loved being the head editor?"

Dylan shook his head while taking his things from his desk "I did… but… I'm quitting because of…" the last words were hard for him to say, as if he was coming up with a lie cause he was scared of something "… because of personal reasons."

"Personal reasons?!" Linda asked "What personal reasons?"

Bradley nodded, wanting to know why Dylan would step down without consulting any of his staff "Yeah, Dylan. If there's something bothering you, I'm sure we can talk this over and-"

"No!" Dylan yelled, surprising everyone "I've made up my mind. And it's better for everyone in the end." He picked up a box with some of his stuff in it, not willing to talk about his 'problems' with anyone and just wants to leave "And from today on… you all will be having a new head editor, effective immediately."

He bypassed his whole school paper staff, leaving them shocked and disbelieved.

That's when another person suddenly appeared, calling with a sweet tone "Hi everyone!" everyone looked, seeing it was Mia Cross, holding a box with her own stuff in it. She roughly bypassed the others "Out of the way," and puts her stuff on Dylan's old desk "Is this my desk? Good." She sat on the table, crossing her legs on it while using a small mirror to readjust her makeup.

"Mia Cross?!" Danuta asked shocked "YOU are the new head editor?!"

Mia gave a short unimpressed glance at Danuta "What? Isn't it obvious? Duh! Of course I'm the new head editor. Now get me a soda from the machine, I'm thirsty." She flicked her fingers, ordering her to get her a drink.

Everyone shared glances, still not believing that Mia Cross, the second most popular girl in school is now in charge of the school newspaper.

Mia glared at her staff for not doing what she asked for "What are you all standing there?! I SAID I'm thirsty, and I want a soda right now! Or do you guys want to quite too like your last editor?!" she yelled.

Everyone, except Danuta, shook their heads, with Linda going immediately out to buy a soda.

Mia, after finishing her eyelashes, rose up from her chair and formed a sweet smile while walking over to the chalkboard "Now, as your new editor, I'm planning to make a complete turn. This school paper is going to be fabulous as it deserves," she immediately wiped away all the things that Dylan wrote "The old goes out and the new is coming in, meaning we're going to be focusing on one thing only: How great our school is!" she finishes with a happy tone, but then got serious "Which means that this staff is too large and soooo distracting, including that not everyone is unique here to be witness of the new Hi-Lited school paper I'm going to bring." She pointed to Danuta, Lunette, Will, Linda (who just returned while holding a soda for Mia) and Bradley "The five of you can stay," she then pointed to the others "The rest of you, you're fired."

Danuta and Lunette shared a shocked glance, including Will, Linda and Bradley, while the others sadly looked down before leaving.

Mia chuckled while snatching the soda from Linda's hands and took a sip "Right. Now that's out of the way, let's continue with our plans for next week's edition," and started writing things on the chalkboard, which only includes about the football team, the cheerleaders, and only about the popular kids.

After Mia was done writing, she turned back to the rest and asked "Now, first things first. As this coming Saturday is the school dance, I need people there to make a good story," she then looked at Lunette with a smirk "and someone to make good pictures too."

Lunette was a bit afraid by that look from Mia.

"So that means no distraction, meaning NO dates during the school dance." Mia added, wanting her reporters to take their job seriously.

"But… I'm supposed to go out-" Linda was about to say, but her words were cut short when Mia gave her the death stare, making her quiet.

Danuta glared at what Mia was doing to the school paper.

An hour later…

While the rest went home, Danuta, angry with what is happening, marched over to Mia who was taking some stuff from her locker, standing behind her.

Mia turned and narrowed her eyes at her "Do you have something to say?"

"Yes I do, Mia!" Danuta angrily said, "What the hell was that?!"

Mia chuckled and ensured Danuta with a sweet voice "Oh, dear, it's just the whole new route we're taking. Don't worry, I understand it takes time to get used to it, but it'll be alright, I'm sure."

Danuta shook her head "No! What you're planning to do isn't even REAL news, Mia!"

Mia, feeling a sense of anger rising, remained calm and pats Danuta's shoulder "Now, c'mon there. I'm just simply helping you guys around. All this paperwork and interviewing. Yeck!" she stuck her tongue out "This is going to help you all out and make work for a school paper much easier." She said with a sweet and kind voice.

Danuta glanced her fist "What you want us to do isn't real journalism! For God's sake, you're about to turn a serious school paper into a freaking 'A-Lister worshipping magazine'!"

Mia frowned and said with a serious tone to Danuta "If I were you, I would be thinking twice before questioning my methods, Danuta Gabor. Whenever you like it or not, THIS is the new Hi-Lited paper we're going to put in. I am the editor now and can do with the paper whatever I want. If you don't like it, then you can pack your things and leave the paper. But, if you do, I'll make sure that you will never be accepted into any respectable paper ever again." She finishes with an evil grin.

Danuta was doubting Mia's words, not sure if she really meant them and was bluffing.

"You know my father is the head of the schoolboard, right? And he's willing to do whatever it takes to make my High School life the best, that includes giving me anything I want, whenever I want and also…" she leans closer to Danuta's face "…make other's life miserable. If you still value your goals later in life after school, you will do what I say. Do we have an understanding here?"

Danuta, slowly getting afraid of what Mia, gave a small nod "Yes… yes, I understand."

Mia then turned back to her sweet and kindly face "Good. I was worried there we had a little problem for a second." She took out her back from the locker and said before leaving "See you tomorrow, loser."

When Mia was gone, Lunette come from around the corner and walked over to Danuta, asking her "Well? Did you changed Mia's mind?"

Danuta shook her head "No… she didn't." she and Lunette walked to the front door, leaving the school "I'm sorry, Lun. I guess we have to accept that Mia is our editor now and there's nothing we can do about it."

Lunette was a bit disappointed to hear that. She then spots Mia talking with Dash, possibly flirting with him. Lunette ignored the sight and left with Danuta.

As Mia Cross has changed the school Hi-Lited paper into her and the A-Listers personal worshiping paper, being a high school reporter wasn't anymore as exciting as Lunette had hoped it would be. But despite this, she still tried to do her best so she and Danuta wouldn't be thrown out of the school paper staff.

Feeling bad for Danuta and the others for not being able to go to the school dance just because Mia wants them to report everything at the dance, Lunette took a bold decision.

A few days later, the day before the school dance…

"Hang on," Mia asked Lunette while they held another meeting at the Hi-Lited office "You want to volunteer to do all the reporting and shooting pictures of the dance, Kaye?"

Lunette nodded "Yes, I do."

Mia thought about it, and gave a shrug "Sure, if that's what you want," But she then gave her a small warning "but be sure that you're going to report everything what will happen at the dance and shoot the best pictures, understand?"

Lunette nodded "I'll do my best. I promise."

Mia gave a sweet smile "Wonderful." She then happily hopped away to the door "Well, I guess my work here is done. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going off to buy a wonderful dress for the dance for my date with Dash."

When Mia had left, Danuta asked Lunette with a worried look on her face "Lun, are you sure about this? You won't be able to have any kind of fun at the dance at all!"

Will, Linda and Bradley nodded "Yeah, it would be lonely to be the only one to have to do some reporting." Will said.

Lunette ensured them "Guys, it's okay. I don't mind. And besides, with me taking reporting duty during the dance you all will at least be having a bit of fun and… I'm not really into school dances anyway," she finishes with a bit of sadness.

Danuta could sense that Lunette didn't mean that and actually would've wanted to go to the dance.

"Are you really sure, Lun?" Danuta asked, concerned with her best friend.

Lunette ensured her while putting her own arm around her neck "I am. And…" she gave a shrug "there's always next year, right? Just because I miss one school dance doesn't mean it's the end of the world, right?"

Danuta still didn't felt it was right to leave her best friend without a date, but formed a small smile, accepting her decision "Okay… If this is what you really want, then I'm not gonna stopping you."

"Thanks for understanding, Danu." Lunette said before both shared a hug.

Just as everyone was about to leave, Bradley asked Danuta as he held her shoulder "Uhm… Danu? You got a minute?"

Danuta looked back at Bradley and gave a shrug "Sure, Brad. What's up?"

Lunette, Linda and Will left the office, leaving Bradley and Danuta having some privacy.

But just a few seconds after Lunette closed the door, she heard Danuta saying loudly with excitement "Oh yes! Of course I wanna go with you to the dance, Brad!"

Lunette was happy for her best friend, but then sighed sadly while she leaves.

That Saturday night, while the students were having a lot of fun during the school dance, Lunette was the only one who wasn't wearing a dress or even having a date, and was only busying making some pictures.

To her surprise, he noticed that Danny Fenton was having a date with Paulina and couldn't help but to shoot a picture of them while Paulina glared at him with Danny saying something nervous about 'buying something more special for her'?

But when Lunette noticed that Danny's parents were chaperoning the dance, she was sure that she heard Danny's father, Jack, speaking differently and even his eyes glowed green, before they suddenly turned back to normal and Jack didn't had a clue what has happened. But what was even more strange, was the sudden roar they heard from the girl's bathroom, seeing Danny entering it while looking for Paulina and his friend Sam, but as she looked herself, Danny was gone and the whole girl's bathroom was partly destroyed and the roof was gone, spotting a dragon-ghost in the air, fighting the ghost-boy.

Lunette was able to shoot several pictures of him fighting the dragon-ghost and saving Paulina, but then saw to her surprise that the ghost-boy suddenly flew of, heading back to the school dance in the gym. As Lunette followed him, she couldn't find him anymore and the Dragon-Ghost was already gone, much to her confusion.

As the weeks went by, while Lunette did her best with her work for the school newspaper, she noticed more and more strange paranormal activity around school and Amity Park. This one time, Lunette spotted Dash being trapped in some kind of big blue ecto-bubble, before a ghost appeared that was obsessed with boxes for some reason, and even possessed electronic devices floating around town.

But what made the whole thing even more stranger, is that any time any of these 'ghosts' were around or paranormal activity occurred, it was always that Danny and his two friends were around.

Lunette was in her room, playing an MMORPG game on her computer called, Andromeda Genesis, which was a futuristic/fantasy game playing thousands of years into the future, taking place on an uncharted planet in the Andromeda Galaxy filled with alien creatures and monsters that are close to Earth's mythology, where the last of the humans were teleported in the hopes of rebuilding their civilization.

Using her headset, Lunette contacted Mickey while her avatar, being a female elf-sorceress, met with Mickey's avatar, which was an orc-human hybrid "There you are. Where the heck have you been, Mickey? I've been trying to contact you for over an hour."

"Sorry about that, Lun," Mickey said from his headset "I was really focused on completing this quest in Fire Tower."

Lunette groaned with a bit of annoyance "Mickey! I thought we were supposed to do that quest together."

"I was!" Mickey explained "But because you were so focused lately on working for the school's newspaper and didn't showed up online for so long, I thought you weren't interested into it anymore. And it was the final day before that quest would expire! You know that I don't have the number crypto-rupees to keep it afloat."

Seeing his point of view, Lunette apologized, "I'm sorry, Mickey. It won't happen again. I promise," she changed the subject and asked "Did you get anything great as what they said on the internet you would win on that Fire Tower quest?"

"You bet!" Mickey stated, being happy to have completed the quest on his own and showed with his avatar the weapons and armor he won "Check this out! The purple sword of Azuroth and the Anupmantium armor of Untold Tales."

"Sweet!" Lunette said, being impressed with the new armor and weapon that Mickey won.

"Oh, man, I can't wait till I show this to the others!"

Just then, Lunette got an email from Mia, asking: WHERE ARE THOSE PICTURES I ASKED FOR, LOONY LUNETTE?!

Seeing how Mia called her by that awful name that Dash calls her when given the chance to mess with her, Lunette groaned with frustration, but remained calm and wrote a reply, saying: SORRY, MIA. I'M SENDING THEM RIGHT NOW.

Lunette quickly took the pictures she'd developed in her mother's photo shop and scanned them on her printer before attaching them to a new email and send it to Mia.

"Lun? You there?" Mickey asked through the headset.

"Sorry, Mickey. I just got an email from Mia and…" Lunette tried to explain, but her words were cut short when receiving Mia's response

Mia's new email said: THE ONES WITH ME AND THE OTHER A-LISTERS ARE GREAT, THE REST SUCKS! THERE'S NO ROOM FOR FAIRYTALES OR GHOSTS IN THE SCHOOL PAPER, LOONY.

Seeing that Mia once again denied her request to put anything in the school paper about the recent ghost attacks or the ghost-boy, Lunette sighed before writing another response: I… UNDERSTAND.

Mia immediately send a replay: GOOD. ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND OR WHATEVER YOU LOSERS DO WITH YOUR TIME.

Mai then added a emoji that held the L sign for loser on its forehead while sticking out his tongue.

Seeing this made Lunette sad. Despite her good intentions and trying to show real news about the ghost-boy and the ghost attacks, Mia always selfishly throws those pictures or stories she makes 'away in the trash', so to speak.

Lunette sadly told Mickey through the headset "I… I'm sorry, Mickey… I just can't play right now."

"You okay, Lun?" her gamer friend asked concerned.

"No…" Lunette answered "Mia Cross is still giving us a hard time at the newspaper. No matter what I try, she still refuses to allow us to post any real news or the pictures I took of the ghosts or the ghost-boy."

"You mean, Inviso-Bill?" Mickey asked.

Hearin that made Lunette raise an eyebrow, finding that name weird "Inviso… Bill?"

"Yeah, that's what they're calling this 'ghost-boy' that's been spotted here and there across Amity Park." Mickey stated.

"Right…" was all that Lunette could say about it until she told Mickey, "I'll… talk to you later, okay?"

"Sure, Lun. Later." Mickey said before Lunette went offline and turned off the game.

Lunette sighed while looking back at a big clipboard she'd placed in her room, which was filled with pictures she took from the ghost-boy and the other ghosts she was lucky to take a picture of while connected with red string to each pin that held each picture on the board.

To distract her mind from Mia's insults, Lunette took a look at the pictures, looking to the pictures of Danny, Sam and Tucker while she thought out loud, "Why is it each time when there's a ghost, the three of them are always around?" she looked at Danny's picture "Hmmm… Danny Fenton's parents are known for their work, being 'ghost hunters'. Could it be that because so many ghosts appear that he could take from his parents obsession to either study or hunt the ghosts? Or could it be that the Fentons are somehow responsible for all these ghosts and paranormal activity that appear these days?" she took a notebook which she used for interviews (mostly on Mia's orders) and asked herself "Maybe… I could try to ask Danny Fenton a few questions?"

However, the thought of just go and ask Danny some questions about ghosts and how he could respond made her anxiety come back, afraid that he would take it badly.

But, being so into this ghost-phenomena that is happening ever since the Lunch Lady-Ghost attacked the school a few weeks back and wanting to know answers, Lunette took her time to think as she sat back on her chair and thought of some questions he could ask Danny "Maybe… Maybe I could just ask him 'simple questions'? Like… the simple basics?" she began to write a few "I mean… what better way to start an interview, right?" she asked herself while forming a small confident smile, though it was clouded by her fear of rejection and anxiety.

But, Lunette tried her best to leave those thoughts out and just write the questions.

A couple of days later, at Casper High school…

When arriving at school, Lunette and Danuta, as soon as they walked through the entrance, Sam roughly gives them a couple of flyers.

"Come to today's assembly!" Sam said while moving on to the next students entering.

Lunette and Danuta took a look at the flyers, which said: SAVE THE FROGS!

The two girls shared a glance while narrowing their eyes.

When second period was over, almost every student went to the assembly, with Danuta and Lunette sitting next to each other with the other three staff members of the school Hi-Lited paper, Linda, Will and Bradley sitting behind them.

"You know, I wouldn't be surprised if this is going to be another great idea from Manson to improve things at school," Danuta said while rolling her eyes.

"You bet," Lunette added, agreeing with her best friend "Just look how well her idea of changing the school menu had turned out," reminding herself of how messed up her idea was to only serve Ultra-Recycle Vegetarian food during lunch.

Danuta gave a shrug "True," she then took a notebook and a pen "but anyhow, as reporters of the school paper, it's our job to bring students the news." But then gave an annoying sigh "That is if Mia would approve our story."

While the other students in the assembly were talking among themselves, Lunette could hear a laughter coming from behind stage "Bwahahahahaha! Beware!"

"Hey. Did you guys heard that?" Lunette asked.

"Heard what?" Linda asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lunette could've sworn she'd heard that kind of laughter before "I thought I'd heard…" but then shook her head "Never mind."

Sam walked up the stage and began speaking into the mike "Fellow students, something sick and disgusting is taking place right here in our school! And I'm about to show you what it is."

The curtains opened, revealing her big sign of 'Saving the Frogs!'. But there was also a big pile of clothes and costumes in the corner. And from the pile, Danny emerged, wearing a pink lady costume.

All the students laughed, including Bradley, Linda, Will and Danuta.

Bradley couldn't resist and took a picture "Hahahaha. Oh, I'm sure that Mia is gonna allow this kind of story in next week's edition." He thought to himself with a smirk "I can already see the headcover before me: Fanton's Wardrobe Malfunction."

Lunette glared at Bradley for doing that, as she was more like feeling bad for Danny, thinking he was the victim of another cruel prank by the A-Listers.

But unknown to Lunette at that time, Danny had just faced the Box Ghost causing trouble again, with him being shot with the big pile of dresses and costumes from the box that was meant for the musical 'My Fair Lady'.

Later, after Danny was able to change back into his normal clothes he was assigned a new locker because his old one was trashed because of the Box Ghost

"Seriously, Brad!" Danuta angrily told Bradley, with them and Lunette being around the corner where Danny, Sam and Tucker were looking at his new locker, which was the cursed locker 724 "How could you just think to make a picture of him in that humiliating state and planning to show it to Mia for next week's edition of the school paper?!"

Bradley shrugged "Ah, c'mon, Danuta! This is maybe our only chance to get a real story on the paper that Mia might approve for once!"

This made Danuta even more angry, and even Lunette was against it.

"How can you lower yourself to her level?!" Lunette angrily called out to Bradley "I really thought you were better than this?"

Seeing their point of view, Bradley sighed "No… You guys are right," he took out his digital camera and erased the pictures of Danny wearing the Fair Lady costume "I'm sorry."

Right then, they heard Dash mocking Danny "You left something behind, Fenton!" he and his jock pals laughed at him, which made Danny glare at them. Danuta, Luette and Bradley peeked around the corner, seeing Danny being bullied again.

"Oh no. Poor Danny." Danuta said.

Lunette glared at the A-Lister jocks making fun of him. Then… she felt she had to do something and quickly took out her new digital camera which she bought with almost all the money she'd saved from her allowance and babysitting her little brother. She took several pictures of Danny being made fun of by Dash and was thrown into his new locker with Dash and his jock pals leaving while laughing.

While Tucker helped Danny out of his locker, Danuta, Lunette and Bradley left.

"Why did you made those pictures of him being picked on, Lun?" Danuta asked her "You know that Mia will never allow you to publish those, right?"

"I know," Lunette said "I just…" she figured out why she took the pictures, before telling "Just in case I may need them, I guess."

Unknown to all, while they left, including Danny, Sam and Tucker, a voice called from Locker 724 while a green glow came from it "Bullies…! Bullies…!"

Later that day…

When school ended, Danny, Tucker and Sam left school. Sam was giving Danny a look of disappointment, as he had used his ghost powers for payback against Dash for a moment. Tucker however was proud at him for using his ghost powers for once to get some well-deserved payback.

Not long after, Lunette and Danuta walked out of the school, with Lunette spotting Danny saying goodbye to his friends and walked back to his house.

Lunette was a bit scared, but trying to gather as much courage as she could, she told Danuta "I… I need to do something quick. So… see you later, Danu!" she then ran after Danny.

"Oh, okay. See you tomorrow, Lun." Danuta called, wandering why Lunette would go after Danny Fenton.

A few minutes later, as Danny was about to enter the street where his house was located, Lunette ran over to him "Hey, Danny Fenton! Wait up!" he stopped and turned around, seeing to his surprise that this girl ran over to him.

Danny raised an eyebrow at her as she caught her breath "Uhh… can I help you?"

Lunette nodded and said "Sorry… I… My name's Lunette. Lunette Kaye and…"

Danny was still confused "Do I know you?"

Lunette started to get nervous, as this was not how she hoped it would go "Oh, uhm… Yes! We do! We share classes a few times and… yeah" her anxiety was getting the better of her as sweat began to form on her forehead and her hands began to shake while forming a very nervous smile.

That was when Lunette's name sounded familiar to Danny, remembering the article with him in his ghost form fighting the Lunch Lady "Lunette Kaye? Say, are you maybe the same Lunette that wrote that article and took those pictures of the ghost-kid while fighting that meat monster?"

Lunette still wasn't feeling comfortable, but nodded "Yes…! Yes, that's me!" she laughed nervously. She apologized for her behavior "I'm sorry. I didn't meant to… no, I mean…!"

She was this close to leave, but then Danny said as he smiled at her "I got to admit. Those were some cool shots you took right there. And that article of yours was very well written and very detailed on the action."

"You mean… you liked it?" she asked.

Danny nodded "I sure did. Best pictures I've ever seen in the school paper."

"Oh… uh…" Lunette felt modest "Thank you." she formed a small blush.

"So, was there anything you wanted to ask me?" Danny asked her, wanting to know why she approached him.

Lunette became a bit nervous again "I… uhm…" but feeling a bit better after hearing Danny's compliment about her article and her pictures, she stated, "Well, you see… since I've noticed so many other paranormal activities around, and some other ghosts than that Lunch Lady and Meat Monsters, I was wandering if… you…" she held up a voice recorder, looking again very nervous.

Danny began to understand where this was going "You mean… you want an interview with me?" that last thought of having to give an interview about probably himself and his ghost powers made him very nervous.

Lunette shrugged "Yeah… sort of…" but quickly ensured him while being very nervous, not wanting to scare him off "Not that I suspect you or anything! I was just wandering if… you wanted to give me your opinion and all… Something like that." she finished with a nervous smile.

Danny's own nervousness seem to fade away as he now saw that Lunette simply wanted his opinion on all the ghost activities lately in Amity Park and at Casper High "Oh, I see. Well-" but he cut his words short when a blue mist escaped his mouth, sensing there was a ghost nearby. He quickly had to come up with an excuse and told Lunette with a bit of nervousness "Honestly, Lunette, I… I just remembered I have to do something important for my parents and I definitely don't want to keep them waiting so…" Danny wanted to just leave, but seeing Lunette's sad expression for turning her down for a small interview, he felt bad for her. So, he asked "Uhm… a different time?"

Lunette looked at him with wide eyes, before she smiled "Uhm… sure. Maybe… tomorrow?"

Danny nodded "Sure! Tomorrow's fine. Well… I got to go now! Bye!" he hurried to his house, but then into the garden, entering his father's shed "Going Ghost!" and transformed into his ghost form before he phased out while still remaining invisible and flew to where he sensed the ghost.

Lunette went the other way, sighing deep, still being a bit nervous of having the interview with Danny. But as she saw that he was giving her a chance, she felt a bit more secure about it, which made her smile "Okay. Tomorrow it is."

As the next day at Casper High began, school went mostly the same, which included the usual bullying by the A-Listers who picked on the nerds and weaker kids again. Lunette secretly was able to make at least two or three pictures when Dale and Dash were picking on two nerds, with Dash throwing one of them into his own locker.

Just before Lunch break, Lunette saw Danny standing at his new locker, 724, which was rumored to be cursed. She had heard the legends, even considering that it may be truly be cursed and the spirit of Sidney Poindexter still resides in it.

"Uhm… Danny?" Lunette asked as she carefully approached him.

Danny was frowning at his own image in the mirror of his new locker, but then looked with a normal expression at Lunette, saying with a bit of a sad voice "Oh. Hey, Lunette."

At first Lunette wanted to ask him if he had time for the interview, but seeing his sad expression, she wandered what bothered him and asked, "Are you okay?"

Danny shrugged while taking a book out of his locker and put it in his backpack "Yeah, I'm okay. Except that I'm being confirmed by my sister this morning that people see me as a 'clumsy nerd' and probably won't have any chance with the girls until college," he sighed while he shook his head "Total confidence builder," he said with a bit of sarcasm.

Lunette felt bad for him, "Your sister really said that? But that's ridiculous. Just because someone has a bit of a hard time at school or having problems socializing, doesn't mean you're destined to be alone for the rest of your life, right?"

Danny did smiled a bit at Lunette, but then looks sad again while looking into his locker mirror "Thanks, but…"

"Hey, Tuby the Tuba!" Dale called to a bit of overweighted bandmember wearing a band's uniform and a tuba. Danny and Lunette looked, seeing Dale was picking on him while taking his hat "Nice shake-o," and then forcefully rubs the top part against his ears "Does it remove earwax too? Hahahaha!" he and the other jock laughed.

Lunette simply frowned, while Danny slammed his locker shut as he didn't wanted to be dealing with them again.

"Bullies…!" the sound came from Danny's locker as it glowed green.

While Dale and his jock friend tossed the nerd's hat around like a game of lounging, but as Dale was about to catch the hat, the locker door of locker 746 suddenly smashed open and hit Dale right in the face!

Lunette looked surprised that she saw the other locker door opened all of the sudden on its own.

While Paulina tried to distract a nerd that was rolling AV-equipment on a cart, Kwan sneaks behind him to tie his laces together.

As Lunette saw everything, the ghostly sound came again from Locker 724 "Bullies!"

This time, Lunette heard it and noticed the green glow coming from the cursed locker as a glowing green beam moved over the ceiling which made a trophy fall on Kwan's head and tripped backwards which made a fire extinguisher spray lots of foam over Paulina! The green glow then fixed the nerd's laces before he simply moved on while giving a shrug.

Lunette gasped what she saw and stared back at Danny's new locker "Oh my God. Locker 724 IS truly cursed. Which means… that Sidney Poindexter's spirit is still in it." she figured. Lunette then walked away fast, looking for Danuta.

Later, at the Casper High Football Field…

"I'm not making this up, Danu!" Lunette tried to explain to her best friend after she took her behind the bleachers of the football team to avoid being overheard by the other students and would call her crazy "I know what I saw!"

Danuta held up her hands "Okay, okay. I understand. But seriously? Locker 724 is truly cursed as the rumors are saying?"

"Yes!"

Suddenly, there were screams being heard inside the school with many of the students fleeing the cafeteria.

Both teens exchanged glances before running back to the school.

As Lunette and Danuta passed through the hallways, many lockers were wide open and people's stuff were scattered all over the floor, with the cafeteria not looking any better.

"Seems like we've missed the moment," Danuta said.

That was when Jack and Maddie ran over to them "Did you kids saw a ghost?!" Jack asked them while raising the Fenton Gauntlets.

Lunette shook her head "No… not really."

Jack and Maddie run further, with Lancer following them.

"Aren't those Danny Fenton's parents?" Danuta wandered.

"Looks like it." Lunette figured as though she never met them, she could tell they were definitely the ghost-obsessed scientists who are Danny and Jazz's parents. Feeling worried for some reason for Danny, she ran the other way in the hopes that he was alright.

To Lunette's confirmation, Danny was indeed okay as she spots him with his friends. Although she noticed there was something… different about him, like he was acting a total different person, helping Dash and everyone else getting free soda from the soda machine and even handed over one to her and Danuta.

'What's with Danny all the sudden?' Lunette wandered.

Lunette watched as Danny was trying outa football match, not knowing that Dash would allow him to be squashed by the other team.

But then, Lunette spots a yellow beam energy passing by which wrote something in front of Sam and Tucker's feet, making her eyes go wide 'There is that strange beam again, like I saw from Locker 724.'

While everyone was distracted watching Danny miraculously surviving being crushed without a single scratch and scored a touchdown, Lunette could see what what the beam had written on the ground, saying: TUCKER, SAM, OPEN LOCKER 724.

Feeling something was off, Lunette left and quickly went to Danny's locker.

As she made it, the locker door swings open, scaring Lunette "Aaaaah!"

She saw a face looking at her from the mirror, looking like Sidney Poindexter, who at first was surprised to see her and not Sam or Tucker but called for help "Lunette! In here!"

Lunette was a bit scared as she slowly approached the locker and looked into the mirror "You are… Sidney Poindexter, right?"

But he immediately shook his head "No! It's me, Danny!" He tried to explain as he was the real Danny "Poindexter took over my body and send me into this bizarro spirit-world."

Lunette was confused about this. But as she put the pieces together in her mind; the sudden ghost-energy coming from the locker, bullies being put in their place while the nerds remain unharmed, the mess that was caused from all the sudden paranormal activity. It all made sense to her!

"Oh my God, Danny!" Lunette expressed, believing him. But asked, "But why? Why would the spirit of Poindexter take over your body and send you into that mirror-world?"

"It's because I was pulling a prank on Dash as a little payback for picking on me. Poindexter saw it and mistakenly thought I was the bully and Dash the victim-nerd," Danny stated before he sighs sadly, "Serves me right," then he shouted out in panic "Now I'm gonna be stuck here and being bullied for the rest of eternity!"

Lunette was shocked to hear this, making her angry "But that's insane! Dash is the real bully, not you! You were just giving him a taste of his own medicine." She held her hands on the mirror "there's got to be a way to get you out."

"I tried!" Danny stated while pushing into the mirror but could for some reason not pass the portal "But I can't. Poindexter must be the only one that knows how to get me out."

"How are we going to do that?"

Danny thought what to do. He couldn't expose himself having ghost powers, but then figured his parents are at the school too and having anti-ghost equipment "I know how to get him in here so I can get my body back." Lunette leaned in and listened to what he was having in mind "Here's what you need to do. My parents have anti-ghost stuff with them. Some of them seem odd, but trust me they do work against ghosts. First, you need to get the Fenton Gauntlets from my dad, then you need to lure Poindexter here and use the Gauntlets to push him into the locker so gets send here back with me."

Lunette was unsure about this, especially as she didn't liked to 'borrow stuff' without permission but as she couldn't just leave Danny's soul being stuck in Poindexter's realm, she nodded "Okay… okay, I'll try. Just hang in there."

Danny smiled at her "Thanks." But just before Lunette was gonna go, Danny called her back "Lunette?"

"Yes?"

"How did you know it's me and telling the truth?"

Lunette wasn't sure, but answered "I… I didn't… I just… after everything that has been happening lately, ghosts being real and all… I just realized that I knew it was you." She answered with honesty while forming a small smile.

Danny smiled back at her.

"Just hang in there. I'll be right back!" Lunette said before heading out.

Danny sighed "I'll just wait here."

Lunette went to search for Danny's parents. She spotted them at the gym, but noticed that Jack wasn't wearing the Fenton Gauntlets anymore, making her worried.

"Oh no. Mr. Fenton doesn't have those gauntlets anymore," Lunette told herself and was beginning to panic "If I don't find those gauntlets, Danny's spirit is gonna be stuck in Poindexter's realm for all eternity!" she ran back through a hallway, desperately looking for those Gauntlets.

Then, after 5 minutes of desperate searching, she spots Tucker and Sam, with him holding the gauntlets as he puts them in his locker.

"Better put them somewhere safe." Tucker said while closing the locker.

Sam took out a box filled with 'Save the Frogs' badges "And spend some of these around so people will finally take campaign to stop dissecting frogs seriously. With Danny being suddenly this popular, this is could work to our advantage." Sam says with a smile.

As she and Tucker walked away, Danuta went to Tucker's locker. Unfortunately, she couldn't open it "No! Dammit! It's locked." Lunette said with frustration.

She looked around to be sure if she was alone before she pressed her ear against the locker and tried to dial in the code to open it.

After a short minute of trying, she was able to open Tucker's locker, making her smile "Haha. Still haven't lost your touch, Lun."

Lun had taught herself how to open these lockers after she forgotten her locker's code when starting High School, leaving her books trapped in her old locker and Lancer didn't had the spare code for her to borrow.

Lunette took the gauntlets and closed Tucker's locker. To her surprise, the Fenton Gauntlets felt lighter than they looked.

"Okay. I got the gauntlets. Now I need to lure Poindexter back to his own locker to save Danny." Lunette said as she thought of a plan. Luckily, she thought of a great plan quickly, making her smirk.

A few minutes later, Lunette dragged Danny-Poindexter by his arm through the hallway while acting dramatically "Danny, come quick! A bully just locked a poor, defenseless nerd inside your own locker!"

"My locker?" Poindexter asked surprised before both stopped in front of Locker 724, with him giving an ensuring smile at Lunette "No worries, fellow student. I'll free him." Poindexter gently scrolled in the code on the lock, opening it while Lunette quickly puts on the Fenton Gauntlets "You're free now you poor and defenseless-" but to his surprise, the locker was empty, making him frown "Hey. There's no nerd shoved inside my locker."

Lunette took her chance and grabbed Danny-Poindexter, much to his shock as he couldn't move!

"I know it's you, Sidney Poindexter!" Lunette angrily said "And I also know that you stole Danny's body!" With all her strength, she tried to pull Poindexter into the locker where the real Danny stood ready. But suddenly, Lunette tripped and… both got sucked into the mirror!

Lunette and Poindexter crashed on the floor inside the nerd-ghost's realm.

Danny was shocked that Lunette got sucked into Poindexter's realm too, but not wasting his chance, he grabbed Poindexter and pins him against some lockers "You've had your fun, Poindexter! Now I want my body and my life back!"

But Poindexter refused while grabbing Danny's wrists "Forget it, bully! You're not going anywhere!"

Lunette looked around in shock that she too was inside Poindexter's realm. But seeing that Poindexter might escape soon and leave the both of them stuck in this realm forever, she held him tight using the gauntlets "Poindexter, listen to me!"

Poindexter looked at Lunette confused.

"Danny here isn't the bully! Dash is! The one you thought was the victim!"

But Poindexter narrowed her eyes at her "You can't fool me, girl! I know a bully once I'm seeing him!"

Danny looked worried as he could feel like Poindexter could be transforming into his ghost-form any moment, thus exposing his secret identity.

But Lunette shook her head and said, "No! I can prove to you that Dash is the real villain! Please… just give me a chance to prove Danny's innocence. Just give me one minute."

Poindexter raised an eyebrow at her, but after some short thinking he gave her a nod "Fine! One tiny minute, lady."

"That's more than enough for me," Lunette said as she let go of Poindexter as she took off the gauntlets and searched her pockets, taking out her new digital camera, opening the menu and showed the pictures of Danny being picked on by Dash and his friends before shoving him into his locker "Do you see?!"

Poindexter gasped in shock "Wha… that kid… was the real bully?"

Lunette nodded as she showed seven more pictures of Dash picking on other nerds while he enjoyed every moment of it without any remorse.

Poindexter was in deep shock.

"Do you believe me now?" Danny asked while he frowned at the nerd-ghost that stolen his body "I was simply giving Dash a lesson for picking on me as he's been constantly bullying me and other weak kids for years!"

As Danny let go of Poindexter, the nerd-ghost looked in shock at his own hands before looking at Danny and the pictures on Lunette's camera "Oh dear gosh… I've… I've failed to protect those who were harmed by bullies… and send an innocent kid into my realm and causing him even more pain." This saddened Poindexter, seeing he was so blind for not seeing the truth "I… I'm sorry. I didn't know!" he begged for forgiveness from Danny.

"Well?" Danny demanded "Are you going to give me my body back now?!"

Poindexter nodded as he went intangible and went into his own body, switching each other's consciousness back to where they belong, with the real Danny exiting his body but remained in his human form.

Lunette was happy that she managed to save Danny, but then worriedly looked around while grabbing the Fenton Gauntlets "Uhm… how are we going to get back? Cause I don't feel like wanting to be in a place that's like inside my grandpa's old year book."

While Poindexter tried to apologize, even almost calling Danny the halfa, he quickly cut him short and asked Lunette as he offered his hand "Do you trust me?"

Lunette was confused but took his hand "Uh… yeah-"

"C'mon!" Danny dragged Lunette with him and jumped into the mirror, teleporting back into the real world!

Both crashed on the floor.

Lunette looked around, being relieved of being back "Pfew! Thank goodness. I was worried for a moment we would be stuck in 1950's Casper High forever."

Danny nodded as they got back up. He then thanked her "Yeah. And uhm… thank you for helping me getting my body back and out of that crazy realm."

Lunette smiled at him "You're welcome." She then realized that she had actually fought a ghost using the gauntlets and looked at them "Can't believe I'd actually fought a real ghost."

Danny nodded "My parents have their moments, but they sure aren't stupid." He then grabbed the mirror "Just one more thing to do." He was about to throw and break the mirror.

"Danny, wait!" Lunette stopped him, making him raise an eyebrow at her.

"Why? You've seen what he did to me."

"I know, but it was a simple misunderstanding," Lunette explained "And besides, he was technically trying to protect nerds from bullies. And he also now knows the truth."

Danny was unsure about this and rather would break the mirror so Poindexter won't cause any more trouble for him. But as he took Lunette's words into consideration, he felt she was right.

He formed a small smile and puts the mirror back in his locker "Maybe… he does deserve a second chance."

That was when Jack appeared and saw to his shock that Lunette was holding the gauntlets "Hey! There are the Fenton Gauntlets." He then looked at Lunette with a raised eyebrow "Why were you holding my fighting ghost hunting gauntlets, young lady?"

Danny and Lunette both shared a nervous look, with Danny trying to explain "I uhm… Lunette was just-"

"I was holding on to these because I wanted to protect myself after seeing a ghost!" Lunette quickly made up, making Maddie and Jack look surprised at her.

"What?! You saw a ghost?!" Maddie asked.

Lunette nodded "I did… but he's gone now." She formed a nervous smile.

Hearing that the ghost was gone, made Jack look disappointed "Ow darn it! I was so looking forward to capture that ghost." But then looked with a small smile at Lunette "Now, I understand you were a bit scared of this meany ghost," he took back the gauntlets "but trust me, young lady, this stuff is very dangerous and very unpredictable being in the wrong hands."

Lunette nodded "Sure. I'm sorry, Mr. Fenton."

"That's okay," Jack gave her an ensuring smile, but then got confused as he didn't remember her being Danny's friend "whoever you might be." He and Maddie then went the other way and continued their search for ghosts in the school.

Lunette then asked Danny with some nervousness "So, uhm… I was wandering…"

Then the school bell rang.

"Whoops. Looks like we need to head back for class," Danny guessed.

Lunette looked disappointed "Yeah…"

But just as Danny and Lunette were about to leave, he told her "You know, after you saved me from that nerd-ghost, you definitely earned that interview after school."

Lunette smiled brightly "Can't wait."

Later, when school ended…

Danny walked out of school together with Tucker and Sam.

"I still can't believe that Dash got all the honor of saving the frogs from being dissected!" Sam angrily called out "It was all my idea to save the frogs, not his!"

"Well, look it from the Brightside," Tucker says as he shrugs, "At least they won't harm those frogs you so desperately wanted to save."

"Maybe," Sam said, though she was still angry "But they still wouldn't take my advice on taking the robotic frogs I ordered for the school."

"Maybe it's because they constantly leaking fake green frog blood all the time?"

"It's not blood, Tucker! It's a green substance to simulate the natural slime coming from the frog's skin."

"Well, it's still gross."

While Tucker and Sam argued about that subject, Danny simply rolled his eyes. But as he spots Lunette across the street, he formed a smile before telling his friends "Well, I'm going home now, so…"

But Tucker and Sam were in a now more heated argument, having not even heard Danny saying anything.

Feeling a bit awkward about it, Danny simply left "Right… I'll… see you guys later then."

When walking over to Lunette, she asked him, "What's up with them?"

Danny shrugged while giving the arguing Sam and Tucker a glance before returning to Lunette "Oh, they're just arguing about the whole 'Save the Frogs' campaign, with Tucker thinking that Sam's idea to replace living frogs with robotic ones was a good idea."

"Just like when they changed the menu a few weeks back?" Lunette asked, seeing their heated debate was too similar to their anti/pro-meat protests.

"Something like that," Danny said with a shrug before asking "So… you got any good place where you want to interview me?"

Lunette froze for a moment as she shockingly realized that she hadn't figured this thing all through and hadn't thought of a place to interview Danny.

Danny noticed her shocked look and suggested, "Maybe we could, I don't know… do it at my place?"

Lunette was surprised to hear that "Your… place? Like your house?"

"Of course." Danny shrugged while he smiled "And I don't think any other place around town would be suitable for us to have a quiet interview. And the Nasty Burger would be too crowd at this time." He added as he knows that the Nasty Burger, which is the most popular fast-food joint for Casper High students to spend their time at after school.

Lunette smiled a bit while scratching the back of her head "Yeah… good point. Okay, then your place it is." She then followed him to his house.

Though she already knew where Danny lives, as his parents' house, which they also turned into their ghost-hunting business, isn't hard to find because of the all familiar giant dome-like structure that Jack and Maddie Fenton had built on top of their home. But as she approached it, Lunette wandered how the Fenton residence looks like from the inside.

Danny opened the front door "Well, here we are. Home sweet home." He added as a little joke.

As Lunette stepped inside the Fenton residence with Danny, she was surprised for a second that the inside of their home actually looked like any normal house, with a comfortable sized living room, a big glass dining table in the middle of the kitchen and one pair of stairs going up to the bedrooms while another stairs would lead to the basement.

"Wow…" Lunette said while she looked around "Your house looks… very nice."

Danny shrugged "Thanks."

Lunette then thought, "So… we're alone here now?"

Danny nodded "Yep. My parents are probably keeping patrolling the school for ghosts for probably up to late and my sister is always in the library after school and won't be back until 6." But not wanting to make her think he'd planned to 'have some fun' with Lunette, he quickly ensured her "But, it's only because I wanted us to have some decent quiet for the interview and not like anything… well…!" he panicked a bit.

Lunette gave a small chuckle and ensured him, "I get it. It's okay," she then asked while putting her bag on the dining table "So… shall we do it here or…?"

Danny formed a small smile and lead her up the stairs "I have a better place for that."

After climbing up the stairs, Danny lead Lunette up to the dome-observatory after climbing a few more iron stairs.

As Danny opened the observatory, Lunette asked very curiously "Is this where your parents do all their… ghost-hunting experiments or something?"

Danny shook his head as they entered "No. They do that in the basement in their lab. This here is The Fenton Emergency Obs Center, or Obs Center for short. My parents built this thing in case during dangerous emergencies if a large number of ghosts would attack our home or the town. But most of the time," Danny formed a smile while pressing a button, which made an iron table appear from the floor and additional four nice seats "it's a quiet place for me to do my homework if I want to."

"Impressive." Lunette said, being impressed how smart Danny's parents are to be able to make such interesting inventions.

Danny and Lunette sat at the table, with Lunette taking a voice-recorder and a notepad which had several questions that Lunette had written down.

Lunette felt a bit nervous.

"You okay?" Danny asked while raising an eyebrow.

"I'm… I'm good!" Lunette answered, though she technically lied because her increasing anxiety made her feel very nervous.

Seeing she might need something to cool her head, Danny suggested, "You want a drink or something?" he walked over to the small fridge under the control panels "We got lots of stuff here."

"Uhm…" Lunette doubted, but asked "Maybe… do you maybe have a soda?"

"Sure." Danny answered and took two cans of soda from the small fridge.

After he gave one to Lunette, she took a few sips from it. She felt a bit better after that.

So, with the little more confidence she now has, Lunette took a deep breath and started the voice-recorder "Okay… This is Lunette Kaye. The date is Tuesday the thirteenth of April, 2004. I'm having the interview with Danny Fenton…" she then took her notepad and read the first question to him "So, Danny… let's start with… your birthday?"

Danny raised an eyebrow as she asked this question "Well… my birthday is on March 13, which was last month," but then asked, "Why do you want to know that?"

Lunette became a bit nervous, but tried to explain "Well… it would be better to start the interview with just a few simple questions, right? What better way to get more comfortable during an interview, right?" she finished with a small nervous smile.

Danny gave a small chuckle, seeing her point "Yeah, I suppose that's true. Then what other simple questions do you have for me?"

Lunette felt relieved that Danny didn't mind of being asked simple questions. So, she started with the second 'simple question', "Okay, then… what are your favorite school subjects?"

Danny thought about that for a moment "Well… my favorite subjects at school are history and science," that last one made him narrow his eyes "although I'm not scoring A's at Science class and only come home with C's or D's, which my parents are never happy about."

"And why is that?"

Danny shrugged "Cause, as my mother's says 'Get this straight, Danny. You're a Fenton. And Fentons always score A's."

Lunette looked a bit surprised after hearing how much Danny is under pressure by his parents to score good grades "Well… I could help you from time to time with Science Class."

That earned a raised eyebrow from Danny.

Feeling anxious for asking something like that out of the blue, Lunette nervously added, "That's if you want it of course! But I understand you have different plans!" she shook her head and looked back at her notepad "Actually… just forget what I just said."

But as Danny remembered that Lunette scored B's or A minuses a few times, he said, "Well… if I do need some help with that, I don't think that's such a bad idea."

"You… you sure?"

Danny shrugged "Yeah."

That made Lunette smile, seeing that he would take her offer of help with homework into consideration. She then got back to the questions on her list "Well… great! Okay, okay… next question."

And so, with Lunette asking just these simple basic questions, the both of them did get slowly more comfortable.

Danny answered her questions as honest as he could, telling his favorite animals are dogs, his favorite color is blue and his dream is to become one day an astronaut at NASA.

When mentioning he loves playing videogames, Lunette got intrigued and told him that she too loves playing videogames, which was the reason she'd joined the Casper High 'Gaming Club'. Danny and Lunette kept talking about videogames for almost an hour, openly telling which were their favorites, even sharing which kind of movies and even music genres they like.

The both of them even shared a laughter when they were talking about the comedy movie that came out last year called 'Bruce Almighty', with Danny stating that when he and his friends went to see that movie, Tucker laughed so hard that his drink came out of his nose, but kept laughing out loud while rolling on the floor, which made them being removed from the theatre. Lunette told a near similar story, except that she and Danuta weren't removed from the theatre, but Danuta couldn't stop laughing that she left the theatre and had therefor missed the other half of the movie.

Then, Lunette started asking the real questions, but did her best not to make him scared.

"So, Danny…? As you may have noticed, a lot of ghosts have appeared at Casper High and around Amity Park, not to mention the strange paranormal activity," Lunette asked.

Danny gave a nervous nod.

"Well…" Lunette asked "since you're coming from a family of ghost hunters, what are your thoughts about it all?"

Danny wasn't sure how to answer that and just said, "Well… that ghosts are really scary."

Lunette chuckled "I know that. But… I just want to know what you feel deep down about the situation. Like, what are your thoughts as it now shows that there is life after death?"

Danny felt a bit relieved, seeing that Lunette wasn't trying to dig deeper into him having ghost-powers, and said, "Well… the truth is… I was really surprised and shocked…"

"In what way?"

"Well, for once… that my parents were right al along, especially my father, as he and my mom have always believed that ghosts do exist," Danny stated, "And also… that these ghosts are far more dangerous than what my parents thought they were," but then shrugged while he chuckled "Well, except for the spirit of Sidney Poindexter," he felt a bit sorry for the nerd-ghost "Honestly… I feel pity for him."

"In what way exactly?" Lunette asked, wanting to know why Danny feels such pity for Poindexter.

"Well… he's been tormented for so long and being treated way crueler than any other victim of bullying I've ever seen before," Danny answered "I just can't imagine how hard it must've been for him back in the day… being the victim by not only pranks by the typical bullies, but by almost everyone back then, that even picking in him became a sort of 'graduation requirement', which is like… the worst thing to any student can happen, being treated for something that isn't his fault or for just being himself."

"And… do you feel the same way for all the ghosts?"

Danny shrugged "Well… I'm not so sure. I mean… a lot of ghosts that I saw were like 'enormous creatures' that you can only imagine seeing in your nightmares and could kill you given the chance."

Lunette just looked at Danny, as if she was lost in her own thoughts.

Danny raised an eyebrow at her "Is… that all the questions you have for me?"

As he asked that, Lunette sighed before putting the notepad down "Can I tell you something honestly, Danny?"

"Well, sure."

"I honestly think that… not all ghosts are evil," Lunette stated, leaving the interview out of the picture and just wanted to share her own thoughts "I think… after what I've seen so far, not to mention after helping you from being possessed by Poindexter and my little trip in that black n white realm behind the mirror, that ghosts are maybe misunderstood and just don't have another way how to release all these negative emotions they'd held on to after they 'possibly died' before turning into ghosts. As I saw how Poindexter was, as how the amount of torture and cruelty he had to endure back in the 1950's, he must've carried with him so much pain and having no idea how to cope with it or even having anyone to share his inner pain with, to try to… move on."

Danny just listened to what she was saying, as if her words hit him hard, in a way he wasn't smart enough in the first place to figure out, or even considering that ghosts are spirits that have been tormented in life and had carried all that inner pain with them into the grave, literally.

"I just… what if there are more ghosts out there like Poindexter? What if there are so many tortured souls that are unable to move on and get into the afterlife they truly deserve and not being stuck in 'limbo' or whatever realm they come from."

"The Ghost-Zone." Danny said.

Lunette looked at him confused.

"That's… how my parents call the place where all ghosts reside." Danny stated.

"Right, the 'Ghost-Zone'," Lunette corrected herself, but then continued on "Look, my point is… don't you think that the reason that ghosts might be coming to our world is because they try to ease their own pain by trying to accomplish what they'd failed to do in life?"

Danny thought about that "I… I don't know. I guess, but… that honestly doesn't justify for hurting people, right?"

"Maybe not." Lunette shrugged and just moved on to the next question "So… what do you think about his 'ghost-boy' that has appeared in town all the sudden and fights some of these ghosts?"

Danny formed a small smile "Well, I think he's really cool for trying to be a hero."

Just as Lunette was about to ask the next question, the door to the Ops Center suddenly opened, revealing to be Sam "Danny, are you in-" but she paused and looked surprised to see Danny sitting at the table with Lunette, making her glare at her.

"Oh. Hey, Sam." Danny said while he stood up.

"What is she doing here?!" Sam angrily asked Danny.

Lunette was a bit scared of Sam's reaction, with Danny explaining while raising his hands "This is Lunette. She is-"

"Yeah, yeah. I know who she is, but my question was: What is she doing here?" Sam repeated her question while glaring again at her.

Danny shrugged "Oh, uhm… nothing. She was just… interviewing me. That's all."

Tucker then came into the Ops Center, having heard Sam's angered expression, being surprised to see Danny with a different girl and confused why Sam was acting like this.

"Really? You allowed yourself to be interviewed by her?" Sam narrowed her eyes at Danny.

"Yeah," Danny nodded, trying to explain the reason for her being here "After she helped me from being possessed by Sidney Poindexter and imprisoned from Poindexter's realm, I agreed to her suggestion for a little interview to thank her for saving me."

Sam's mouth fell wide open, feeling dumbstruck "Poindexter? The same Sidney Poindexter from the 1950's?"

Tucker too was surprised to hear this "So you were possessed by Sidney Poindexter, and he is a ghost?!"

"Yes. After I pranked on Dash, Poindexter's spirit thought I was the bully and therefor stole my body and banished me into his own realm to be 'bullied' forever," he then smiled at Lunette "but Lunette here figured out what had happened and saved me."

"Really?" Tucker asked with a raised eyebrow "So that was Poindexter using your body all along to try and impress Dash and the other kids at school? That makes a lot of sense."

Feeling that it was best to leave, Lunette turned off the voice-recorder and collected all her stuff "I… think I should go."

"Yeah, you should." Sam told her with venom in her voice while still glaring at her, which made Lunette nervous.

"I'll… see you later then," Lunette told Danny before leaving "Thanks for the interview, Danny."

As soon as Lunette was gone, Sam marched over to Danny and asked while holding his collar tight "Have you completely lost your mind?!"

"Wha… what do you mean?" Danny asked confused.

"Does she knows that you have ghost powers?!"

"What? No! Of course she doesn't." Danny ensured her.

Sam released him but told him fiercely "Danny, that girl is a freaking journalist!"

"For the school paper."

"THAT DOESN'T MATTER! Have you never considered that she's just using her journalist charms so you would blindly reveal your secret to her?"

Understanding that Sam was just trying to protect Danny, he didn't quite liked it when Sam was talking about Lunette in such way "The hell are you talking about? Lunette isn't like those vulture-journalists. She's actually very nice." He then reminded her "And for the record: She saved me from being tormented in Poindexter's realm while you and Tucker hadn't had any sort of clue!"

"How the hell were we supposed to know that your body was being possessed?" Sam angrily asked.

"I tried to contact you guys on that football field!"

Tucker shrugged "We didn't noticed that you were trying to contact us at all, dude."

"Well, Lunette did!" Danny said "And she took the courage to save me. For Christ sake, I could've been stuck in the mirror of my locker for all eternity and none of you would've even know!"

"Okay, okay, we're sorry, Danny," Tucker said, trying to ease the situation before he said with a sly smirk on his face "But I gotta say, you finally got a girl coming over to your place."

Sam glared at Tucker while folding her arms "Oh? And what about me then?" she then looked back at Danny, telling him, "Danny. SHE is a journalist! And if you're not careful, she will figure out your secret identity being half-ghost and will expose it all in front of everyone in town!"

Though Sam had a point, Danny didn't saw Lunette that way "But she didn't even asked me about being a ghost. Well, she did asked me for my opinion of what I thought about those ghosts that appear and wanted to hear my opinion about 'the ghost-boy'."

"And you just went along with it?" Sam asked, still crossing her arms "I don't know if you're either blind or completely stupid." She wandered while rolling her eyes "Or maybe the both of them will do."

"Look, Sam," Danny said while he frowned "She got the interview she wanted and my secret isn't exposed."

Sam gave a shrug "Fine. Have it your way then. But when your secret is out because you let the wrong people in, don't blame me for having warned you." She then began to leave "I'll see you around."

Tucker however remained behind for a moment, saying with a proud smile at him "Despite the girl isn't Paulina, you sure took a bold move to invite a girl to your place. Good work, bro."

"Thanks, Tuck." Danny said with a smile.

"Although…" Tucker began to think "Sam does have a point. After all she is a journalist. And if you're not careful, she will find out that you are half-ghost."

"I know. But I'll be careful. I promise." Danny ensured him.

Tucker shrugged, trusting him on this "Right. See you later, Danny." He then began to leave to.

Later, that same evening…

In his room, Danny was sitting in front of his computer, doing an essay that Lancer assigned him and the rest of class to make before the end of the week.

Danny groaned with annoyance as the essay was hard to write.

Then, a message popped up on the chatroom, seeing it's from Lunette, saying: 'Hi, Danny. It's me, Lunette.'

Danny formed a small smile and began typing a message back: 'Hey, Lun. You doing okay?'

Lunette wrote a message back: 'Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks again for the interview!'

Danny chuckled while writing back: 'You're welcome. It was the least I could do after you saved me. So, when can we expect your new article about 'ghosts'?'

Lunette didn't answer for some minutes.

Danny looked a bit worried and typed a new message: 'You still there?'

Lunette wrote back: 'Yeah, I'm still here. Honestly… I don't think they'll publish my article about ghosts in the school paper'. She finished with a sad emoji.

'Why?' Danny asked.

Danny and Lunette would talk on the chatroom for at least an hour, with Lunette telling how things have been made very difficult at the School Paper ever since Mia Cross has taken over the paper and made it clear that she wouldn't publish any stories that's doesn't put the A-Listers 'in the good spotlight'.

Danny felt bad for her as her first article about himself was a really good one and even told her that her pictures were amazing. Lunette felt flattered.

As the weeks went by, Danny was still using his ghost powers to try protect Amity Park from any evil ghosts that would show up. Having to face a genie-ghost named Desiree, the multibillionaire named Vlad Masters who also has ghost powers but uses his powers for his own selfish gains, even facing an evil prison warden-ghost named Walker after Danny tried to find back the anniversary present from his father to his mother to save their marriage.

Danny and Lunette would talk from time to time, although it was made difficult as Sam would keep Danny away from her to prevent her from talking to him as she doesn't trust her and thought she would then certainly do anything to find out his secret identity. Although Sam was clearly hiding the truth that the only reason she's been trying to 'protect Danny' was because she's been in love with him for a long time and didn't want to lose him to a different girl, especially not to Lunette.

But now, as a new teen therapist/counselor had arrived at Casper High, going by the name Penelope Spectra, who was hired to build up the spirit for the students for the 100th Casper High Spirit pep rally, Lunette noticed that the students were all slowly starting to get more and more depressed instead being popped up for the pep rally. Even best friend Danuta, the members of the Gaming Club, the other reporters of the Casper Hi-Lited and even Danny were shown more miserable.

Lunette had to get to the bottom of this.

Lunette was keeping watch around the corner, seeing Kwan with a big smile standing in front of Miss Spectra's office door.

The red-haired, and surprisingly gorgeous looking Penelope Spectra opened the door, giving a big smile "Mr. Kwan. So good of you to come by."

Lunette took a picture of them while Kwan entered the office, and Spectra closed the door.

A couple of minutes later, Kwan exited the office, looking sad and depressed while Spectra told him with a smile "Now go out there and be a better you!"

Kwan just sadly sighed while walking away while Lunette took another picture and walked away quickly, unknown to her that a green-blob ghost named Betrand was watching her as he phased his head out of the ceiling, looking with suspicion as Lunette left.

In the teen counselor's office, Spectra looked in the mirror, watching as the few wrinkles on her cheeks disappeared after she'd absorbed the misery from Kwan.

Betrand then phased into her office, telling her, "Spectra! We have a problem!"

"Oh?" Spectra asked with a raised eyebrow "What sort of problem?"

"Someone's on to us," Betrand explained.

"Don't be ridiculous. Nobody has a single clue what we're planning for Wednesday, especially not that worthless excuse of a vice-principal who was too blind to see what I really am." Spectra ensured before forming an evil smirk while her eyes glow red.

"I'm serious, Spectra!" Betrand angrily expressed "While you were too busy on feeding on those kids' misery, some girl has been secretly taking pictures from around the corner!"

This shocked Spectra, before she turned angry and demanded "Who? Who would dare to stick their noses into my business?!"

Betrand gave a shrug "Actually… I don't know who she is."

Angrily, Spectra grabbed Betrand by the throat while her body turned into a black-shadow ghost, which was her true form "Then get out there and get rid of that kid before she would cause any real trouble!"

Betrand nervously nodded before he smirked and phased out of the office, going after Lunette.

Later after school, at Elmers Pharmacy…

Having heard that Danny and his friends would hang out at Elmers Pharmacy, Lunette ran towards the place.

As she spots Danny sitting at a table with Tucker and Sam, and his sister Jazz standing behind him, Lunette was surprised to see Danny angrily called out on his friends, "Yeah, well, if you're gonna take her side, then you hang with her too!" he shoved Jazz on his seat "Here, take my seat! You've already taken my friends!" he finished with a bit of drama before running off and headed into the emergency exit.

"Danny, wait!" Jazz ran after him.

Knowing that this was just a trick to get Jazz of him cause of some trouble, Sam told Tucker before running into a different direction "Come on!"

Lunette had no idea what that fight was all about but had a theory it was because Jazz was too much interfering into his private life and even claims that Spectra told him that she called him a loser. Lunette followed Tucker and Sam from a distance.

She suddenly spots the ghost-boy flying off, making her gasp "The ghost-boy." She took out her camera and followed him, seeing him entering the pharmacy and was facing a blob-shapeshifting ghost.

As she took a few pictures from behind the window, she noticed that the ghost-boy was somehow not fighting in his best shape but got angry when the blob-ghost called him a loser and fired an even stronger ghost-ray blast before the blob-ghost escaped. Lunette wandered why the ghost-boy was like this, even noticing how depressed he's feeling somehow.

But what got her attention, is that the ghost-boy talked with Sam and Tucker and took a picture before leaving.

After she'd gone to her mother's photo-studio, Lunette examined the pictures she just took together with the pictures she took weeks ago about the ghost-boy and a few with Danny on it.

"No… this… that can't be, right?" she wandered herself and compared a picture of the ghost-boy with Danny "Could Danny be… the ghost-boy?!" she looked back at the picture of the ghost-boy talking with Sam and Tucker back at the pharmacy.

Everything was starting to finally make sense to her. The times that Danny disappeared when a ghost suddenly shows up and then the ghost-boy appears, with Danny only coming back once the ghost-boy flies away after dealing with the ghost. His parents being ghost hunters and having all of these anti-ghost inventions, including the ghost-portal that would lead into the Ghost-Zone as how Danny told her about it one time.

"It… it all starts to make sense now!" Lunette expressed, having a mixture of shock, disbelief and some enthusiasm "Danny must've had gained ghost powers because of his parents' research on ghosts, and is now using those powers to defend Amity Park! And Tucker and Sam must've kept it a secret all along too, which is the reason why they were always there when a ghost attacked and didn't run away like the other people." she took the picture of Danny and the ghost-boy "Danny is the ghost-boy!"

Though Lunette was taken completely by surprise by this revelations, she knew she had to find out as well why every student was feeling more miserable after their sessions with Spectra. When she started examined the other photos, Betrand entered the studio as he phased down from the ceiling.

Lunette compared all the photos of many students being cheerful before being depressed after seeing Spectra "Why are all the students feel more miserable than before after seeing Spectra?" she wandered, before she realized something "Unless… Spectra is not a teen therapist at all? What if she's in fact a fraud?!" she looked closely at the pictures of Spectra before and after seeing a student, noticing the wrinkles on her face not appearing anymore after a session "Or worse…" she then noticed in a picture that Spectra's eyes glowed red after being told by Betrand about something they missed for the spirit sparklers, making Lunette gasp "…Spectra is… A GHOST?!"

"My, my. You're a very clever one, aren't you?" a sinister voice asked her from behind.

Lunette shockingly turned around, before she gasped in horror to see the blob-ghost, Betrand appearing before her.

"Got you, you little ferret!" Betrand evilly smiled before he raised his hands and grabbed Lunette.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Lunette called out in fear as Betrand grabbed her and took her away as he made himself and Lunette intangible and phased out of the photo-studio.

Lunette struggled to get loose "Let me go!"

Betrand evilly chuckled "Are you sure about that?" he asked while floating in midair, far above Amity Park.

Lunette looked, seeing to her horror how far up they were, making her scared for her life and begged "NO NO NO NO! DON'T LET ME GO!"

Betrand smirked at her… before letting her go "Whoops. Slippery hands."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Lunette screamed while she fell down. She looked as she was about to crash on the ground, closing her eyes tight and waited for the inevitable…!

But she wasn't falling on the ground. As she opened her eyes, she gasped to her surprise that she was carried by Danny in his ghost form.

Danny puts her down in a nearby street, asking her, "Are you okay?"

Lunette didn't know what to say, as the ghost-boy she was staring at was in fact the same boy named Danny Fenton. But ensured him with a nod "I am now. Thank you."

Danny gave her a smile "You're welcome. Good thing I was in the neighborhood."

Actually, the truth that Danny was here and rescued Lunette, is because she'd texted Danny that she might've found something on Spectra and didn't know anyone else to trust with this information as how the school's been going lately.

He was about to excuse himself "Well, better take care of that ghost," but then looked a bit depressed "and getting my butt kicked again." Danny flew away to face Betrand.

Lunette watched him go, forming a small proud smile as Danny was using his powers for good.

And Danny, feeling what Betrand had almost done to Lunette, made him so angry that he was fighting fiercer than before until he was able to capture him in the thermos.

Danny flew away while Lunette just watched.

"Lun!" Danny called around the corner.

Lunette looked and saw Danny back in his human form. She figured that he couldn't return to her in his ghost form and changed himself back to keep his identity a secret.

"My God, are you okay?!" he asked worriedly "I saw that blob of a ghost grabbing you in the air and he dropped you…"

Knowing that he was just pretending to be worried, Lunette played along, pretending she didn't know his secret identity as she nodded "Yes, I'm alright. The ghost-boy saved me."

Danny sighed with relief "Pfew! Thank goodness he was around, right?"

Lunette gave a small chuckle "Yeah… he sure was…"

Both looked at each other for a short moment, with Lunette forming a blush.

Danny then asked her "So… you asked me to come over for something important?"

Lunette got out of her dreamy state and nodded "Yes!" she grabbed his arm and dragged him with her back to her mother's photo-studio "I've found evidence that that teen counselor is behind all of this!"

"What do you mean?"

"Danny!" she yelled at him "Penelope Spectra… is a ghost!"

This took Danny completely by surprise "What? Doctor Spectra is a ghost?! How do you know all this?!"

"Just come with me! I'll show you!"

With the evidence that Lunette had gathered, Danny finally saw the writing on the wall, which made everything so much sense. Spectra disguised herself as a human in order to 'feed' of all the teens misery.

He had to put a stop to it, as 'Danny Phantom'.

The next day at school, Danny confronted Spectra, who revealed to Lunette's suspicion that she was indeed a ghost, who's goal is to feed of people's misery in order to stay young forever and had planned to kill Jazz during her motivational speech during the School Spirit Rally so she could be young forever as Danny would be miserable for the rest of his life.

The fight was intense, with Danny almost being unable to fight her because of her psychological skills, with Jazz being this close to be killed, Danny was able to save her in the nick of time.

Lunette, knowing she had to help Danny somehow, had taken something which would certainly help them to defeat Spectra once and for all.

Spectra pinned Danny to a wall in the storage room. He tried to capture her in the thermos, but she easily slapped it away.

"Look at you," Spectra said with her deceiving manipulative tone "What are you? A ghost trying to fit in with humans? Or some creepy little boy with creepy little powers?"

Jazz angrily charged towards Spectra with an iron pipe "Leave him alone!"

But Spectra saw it and grabbed Jazz before throwing her against another wall!

"Oh, don't worry, girl. You're next." Spectra said with an evil grin "But first, I'll take some of the misery of this little freak. Not a ghost, not a boy. Who would care for a thing like you?"

She dropped Danny on the floor with him being drowsy after Spectra had just absorbed a lot of his energy.

"HEY!" a sound suddenly was heard, making Spectra and Danny look, seeing it was an angry looking Lunette "The only true freak around here, IS YOU, SPECTRA!" she held out Jack's new invention: The Fenton Ghost Peeler.

Lunette didn't know how to use it, and just pressed a red button, activating it and the device created a full anti-ghost body suit. Even Lunette herself was surprised how amazing this thing was but focused more on her target: Spectra. She pulled the trigger, firing a green energy beam at Spectra which hurt her so much that it skinned away the human disguise until there was nothing left of her youth, leaving nothing but an old and wrinkly woman who was like in her 90's!

"Yikes." Danny said as how ugly Spectra truly was from the inside.

Spectra looked in shock at herself "NOOOO! I am nothing without my youth!"

Danny used the opportunity to capture Spectra and sucked her in the Fenton Thermos.

Lunette deactivated the Fenton Ghost Peeler, making the armor disappear. She was shocked as she figured out that she'd stood up against a powerful ghost all by herself and wasn't showing any fear, making her smile for standing up for herself "Okay… that… was cool."

Danny walked up to her, thanking her "Hey, thanks for the help, young lady."

Lunette formed a grin at him "Guess this means we're even now, huh?"

Danny gave a shrug.

Jazz walked up to him, with Danny afraid that his sister might be up to his secret.

Jazz however, having known already that her little brother is the ghost-boy, smiled proudly at him before realizing that it was best not to expose him and ran away, faking she was in fear "Aaaah! Ghost!"

Lunette raised an eyebrow at her, but then told Danny "You should better go."

Danny gave a nod and became intangible before flying off and phased through the ceiling.

With the students saved and Spectra being dealt with, the whole school got back their School's spirit and the rally was a great success.

That same night, at Lunette's home, she watched from her bedroom window, seeing Danny in his ghost form fly through the sky. She smiled when seeing him, vowing to herself, "Don't worry, Danny. Whenever you're ready to tell, your secret is safe with me."

As the days went by, Danny and Lunette were meeting each other more often.

Despite he wasn't part of the Gaming Club, Danny got to know Mickey and the other members of the gaming club better when Lunette introduced them to him when they were holding a game-gathering using the game DOOMED. Danny was surprised to see that Lunette was actually a great player, with him even joining the group and actually got a lot of great gaming tips from the club.

Danny even got to know Danuta better.

However, that Danny was hanging around more and more with Lunette hadn't gone unnoticed by Tucker or Sam.

As they walked to school together, Tucker asked Danny, "So, what's going on between you and that school paper photographer, Lunette?"

"What do you mean?" Danny asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Isn't it obvious? You took part in the Gaming Club team on DOOMED, talking a lot more with her and her friends than usual?" he said with a smirk, but then thought about it "Actually, you never hang out with anyone else besides me and Sam."

Danny shrugged "Well… Lunette is a great girl to hang out with. And her friend Danuta and the Gaming Club members are more nicer than I thought they were. They even gave me these amazing tips how to upgrade my character in DOOMED, which were enough for me to finally reach level 11 for the first time," he smiled, but then dropped his face as how fast he was defeated in level 11 "but I only lasted less than a minute before I got blasted by those spider-drones."

"You finally bypassed Chaos?!" Tucker asked shocked as he stopped, before he frowned at Danny "And you didn't tell me?!"

"What?" Danny shrugged "I had to try them out first before I was planning to tell you, Tuck."

That was when Lunette came over to Danny and Tucker, asking him, "Tell him what?"

Danny looked at Lunette and stated, "Oh, I was just telling Tucker how much these tips that Mickey gave me actually worked out when I played DOOMED yesterday."

"That's great, Danny." Lunette said with a smile "I wished I could've helped you, but I had this project I had to prepare for."

Tucker looked very surprised and asked Lunette, "Hang on. You play DOOMED too?"

Lunette shrugged, "Sometimes. But, honestly, I'm more of a Andromeda Genysis-gal."

"Andromeda Genysis?" Danny asked before he remembered something about that "Isn't it that fantasy-science fiction MMORPG game where you play on an unknown fantasy planet or something?"

Lunette nodded "Yes. Do you play it too?" Lunette asked him.

"No, not really." Danny stated "I never played MMORPG games before."

"Well, you'll be surprised what that game has to offer."

"I'll take that into consideration."

That was when Sam came up to them "Hey, guys." But when seeing Lunette, she frowned at her.

Lunette became a bit nervous and said her goodbyes before walking to school "Well… I should head to class and make some last minute preparations for my project. See you later, Danny!"

Sam crossed her arms and looked at Danny and Tucker with a mixture of jealousy and disappointment "So, has Kaye forced you for an interview too, Tucker?"

Tucker raised an eyebrow at her.

"Would you relax, Sam," Danny said as they walked to school "We were just talking about the games DOOMED and Andromeda Genysis," he gave a shrug "Not that it matters to you anyway since you're not into video games."

Sam narrowed her eyes at her two friends "Oh, because I'm a girl, you guys think I can't play video games?"

"Well… Lunette can." Tucker added, but that earned him a fierce glare from Sam, making Tucker nervous.

Danny wandered why Sam was so upset about him spending more time with Lunette. But then remembered that Sam tried to 'warn him' that Lunette is a school paper journalist and could learn about his secret identity if he's not careful.

"-before you know it, she will…" Sam told Danny as a way of giving him another warning, but seeing he wasn't paying attention, Sam narrowed at him "Danny! Are you even listening to me?!"

Danny got out of his thoughts and blinked his eyes "Huh?"

"Hello! I was talking about that this is exactly what I warned you about!" Sam yelled out in frustration.

Danny raised an eyebrow, which got Sam only more irritated.

"Ugh! That she's playing with you, Danny! Don't you see?! She's only using your interests in order to get closer to you and get to know your dirty secrets!"

This made Danny frown, believing that Lunette couldn't be like that. But began to doubt in his mind if that was the case as she'd helped him defeating Spectra 'No… No, Lunette wouldn't just use me just to cover a story. Or would she?'

Meanwhile with Lunette and Danuta…

As Danuta was helping Lunette preparing for her project before class would begin, Danuta asked her best friend, "You know, you've spending a lot of time lately with Danny."

Lunette smiled while giving a shrug "Yeah. He sure is a great guy to hang out with."

Danuta paused for a second, as she suddenly realized something that explains Lunette's desire to get closer to Danny "Oh my God!"

"What?"

Danuta smirked at her "You like him, don't you?"

Lunette blushed deep, looking away out of embarrassment "Huh? No! Wha… what gives you that idea?"

Danuta chuckled as Lunette couldn't hide it from her "Oh, please. Just look at yourself! You're blushing," that made Lunette to hide her face inside her sweater "you talk with him about almost anything besides videogames or trouble with Mia at the School Paper."

Lunette was blushing even redder, as if the mixture of anxiety, fear, embarrassment and other sorts of emotions was getting the best of her "I… I-I…"

Then, she sighed in defeat.

"Well, I…" Lunette tried to say while taking her head out of her sweater "maybe I… do like him a bit and…"

Danuta hugged her tight "Oooooh! I'm so happy for you, Lun!"

Lunette released herself from Danuta's tight hug and said, "Hey, hey, hang on a minute! I didn't say that I'm 'into him', I'm more like… interesting in him-"

"That still counts that you're into him."

"Would you stop that!" Lunette yelled in frustration.

Danuta calmed her down "Lun, relax. I was just joking. I'm just… exited that you're slowly getting out of your shell. First you take up the courage to join the School Paper and now you're taking the initiative to impress a boy."

"But I don't want to go that far or anything!" Lunette stated "Sure, Danny is a nice guy and all, but… going that way is like… too fast for me."

Understanding that this was a new thing that Lunette had no experience with, Danuta ensured her as she puts her hands on her shoulders "Hey, whenever you're ready for it, Lun. And honestly, I think that's the right move. Just give it some time and allow this new bond you have with Danny grow. Then you'll see what to do."

"Thanks Danu," Lunette shared a hug with her.

A few hours later…

Danny screamed while running through the hallways while an infuriated Dash runs after him while holding a piece of paper tight in his hand.

"That's it, Fentoast! Run!" Dash angrily called while raising the paper, showing he had a 'D-' on the spelling test "When I'm taking this D I got on our spelling test out of your hide!"

As Danny ran into a different hallway, he almost bumped against Lunette but stopped in time.

Lunette, surprised at first, smiled "Hi Danny."

"No time!" Danny quickly said before looking behind him, seeing Dash was still on his tail "Dash failed a test again and anytime he fails a test he always comes after me!" he runs away fast while Dash roars, wanting to beat the crap out of him in order to 'blow off some steam'.

Lunette looked in shock while Danny fled before frowning at Dash and called to him, "Dash, stop it! Leave him alone!"

"Stay out of this, Loony Lunette!" Dash yelled at her while running after Danny.

Lunette worried about him and went after them.

But as Lunette finally was able to catch on to them, she was surprised to see Dash has bumped hard against Kwan with Danny nowhere to be seen, which gave her a sigh of relief that Danny managed to get away. Lunette formed a small grin, figuring that he must've used his ghost powers to escape the bullies.

"Lunette!" Mia called while approaching her.

Lunette looked in surprise at her before giving a nervous smile "Oh, uhh… Hi, Mia."

With a bit of serious face, Mia asked her, "Do you have finished the article I asked you about?"

Lunette looked a bit nervous "Uhh… well, I…"

"We've talked about this last week, Lunette," Mia said with a sweet voice "You promised me it would be completed today." She then stared at her with a small angry look "You haven't forgotten about it, did you?"

Lunette became more nervous.

Mia leaned close to Lunette's face, looking angry, almost like in a threatening way "Did you?!"

Lunette shook her head "No, no, of course not, Mia. Of course not. I was just… busy with this project I had to complete and I-" she wanted to show Mia a paper that showed she got a B+ for her project, but Mia took the paper and threw it away.

"Listen here, Loony!" Mia angrily said, making Lunette scared "I can forgive a bit of laziness, but what I don't appreciate is people like you putting their own needs in front of mine. I cannot publish without the article that shows me and the rest of the squad won the Cheerleading competition last weekend! And if you want to keep your spot in the school paper, you do what I say when I say it. Got it?!"

Lunette nodded, afraid of Mia's outburst "Yes, yes, I understand! I'll have the article ready today. I promise."

Mia then formed a sweet smile "Great! If you're able to complete it before the end of the day, there won't be any harmed feelings. But if you don't," she then returned giving a stern face "you and I are going to have a big problem." She then walked away with Paulina and Valerie, with her new expensive purple shirt being soaked in chocolate milk.

Lunette sighed before she picked up her grade from the floor walked away while looking sad of being treated like this.

"Maybe joining the school paper wasn't such a good idea?" she sadly asked herself. Suddenly, there was a loud barf heard outside, making Lunette gasp before running out of school to see what caused that noise, seeing to her surprise a giant green ghost-dog running across the parking lot while destroying cars, with Danny Phantom flying after him.

"Slow down, boy!" Danny called out to him, but the ghost-dog didn't listen. Danny grabbed the big collar around its neck, but the ghost-dog was so strong that he dragged Danny with him while phasing through several buildings "Aaaaaaaah!"

"Is that a… ghost dog?" Lunette asked herself shocked, before she smiled and immediately took out her camera, taking several pictures before running after them to see where the ghost dog was going, but unfortunately for her, the ghost dog was running way too fast for Lunette and quickly gave up.

What further happened that day, would become the worst day of Valerie's life as the ghost dog destroyed and bypassed every single security system that Valerie's father, Damon had created and installed in Axion Labs, making him lose his job and was forced to pay for all the damages, ruining him financially.

Damon and his daughter were forced to sell their house and most of their possessions and now they were basically poor.

This change would have a big impact on Valerie. Not only because she could no longer do all the stuff she used to enjoy as a rich girl, but got also kicked out of the A-Listers…

At school, a day after Valerie and her father were now living a poor life, the A-Listers were gathered at their usual table in the cafeteria during lunch break, with all wearing black/purple t-shirts of the popular rock band Dumpty Humpty.

"Oh my gosh," Paulina said while showing her expensive Dumpty Humpty top "Wait till what I'm wearing for the concert. I'm gonna look better than ever."

Mia then appeared, wearing a similar top like Paulina "You mean we all will look better than ever, right, girlfriend?"

"Man, I've been waiting weeks for this!" Dash said exited while doing some air-guitar, loving the songs of Dumpty Humpty.

"Yes, baby," Mia added while sitting next to her boyfriend "Dumpty Humpty rocks!"

Valerie then appeared. She wasn't wearing a Dumpty Humpty shirt and held a small bag with her self-made sandwiches. She looked sad as how much her life had hit rock bottom and was even forced to sell her concert ticket in order to help her father paying for moving to a small apartment in Elmerton. She hoped that at least her 'friends' would be there to support her.

Kwan saw Valerie coming and asked her with a smile, "Hey, Valerie! We're down for the concert, right?"

Valerie sighed while she stated, "Sorry, guys. I had to sell my ticket to help pay for the moving truck. Things are… kidna tight now, you know?" she sadly looked at her small lunch bag.

"So, you and your father are broke now?" Star asked with a raised eyebrow.

Valerie gave a small nod. The other A-Listers shared a glance while Star and Kwan felt bad for her.

But as Valerie was about to sit with them, Mia glared at her "What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm… sitting down with you guys, as I always do." Valerie answered, looking confused as to why Mia was acting so hostile all of the sudden.

Paulina glared at her too "You're not cool enough to sit here with us."

"Yeah. When you're broke, you're out." Dale added while pointing with his thump to the table where Danny, Tucker and Sam were sitting.

Valerie gasped that they banished her out of the A-Listers "But… I…"

"We don't associate ourselves with kids of the lower class of society," Mia told her with a fierce look on her face "Only the real cool kids sit here."

Paulina agreed with her and asked Valerie in mocking way, "Yeah, and we hope you at least sold your ticket to somebody cool? We don't want to sit next to any 'losers' during the concert."

Valerie was shocked that Paulina and the others suddenly treated her like trash, after having been 'friends' for years.

But before Valeire sadly would walk away, Mia snatched the lunch bag out of Valerie's hands.

"Hey! That's mine!" Valerie tried to grab it, but Mia pushed her back that Valerie hit the floor.

Paulina, Star and Kwan looked with surprise that Mia pushed her like that.

Mia rose up, followed by Dash and Dale as she looked down at Valerie before looking inside Valerie's lunch bag "What's this?" she took out what was inside, which were a few slices of white bread with jelly jam "She even has to resort to eat 'loser food' that only piggies eat on a farm," she smirked down at Valerie "Perfect for a little pig like you." she then threw it all in Valerie's face.

"Aaah! Stop it!"

Several other students, including Danny, Tucker, Sam, Danuta and Lunette all looked in shock what was happening.

Mia then took out a drink from Valerie's lunch bag, which was a plastic bottle with orange juice "And this? Orange juice? Let me guess: costed you like 40 cents in a 'loser grocery store'?" she smirked as she removed the cover and poured it all over on Valerie's head.

Valerie looked sad while the orange juice dripped down from her hair, asking sadly, "Why? I thought we were friends?"

Mia leaned closer to her face, telling her with an evil smirk on her face "Like I said, Valerie Grey: We don't hang out with losers like you. I'm just simply 'taking out the trash'." She chuckled and pointed with her thump to the window where outside a few large garbage containers stood "No wait. I think that place outside is more suitable for you to eat your pathetic little lunch, little pig." She gave Dash, Dale and another Jock a gesture, like she commanded them to take her.

The three jocks smirked and grabbed Valerie, dragging her outside "No! Wait! Stop it! Let me go! Noooo!"

Outside, the opened the trash container and threw Valerie into it while they and Mia laughed.

"Good one, babe," Dash complimented his girlfriend "Why didn't I think of that?"

Mia gave a small innocent giggle as they walked back inside.

Paulina then asked while going into a different hallway, "Was that really necessary, Mia? I mean, she already got the message that we don't wanna hang out with her anymore."

Mia stopped and told Paulina, "It's to send a clearer message to her, Paulina. When you're not cool enough to hang out with the A-Listers, then you don't even dare approach us or even come near us anymore. And that little pig had to learn that lesson the hard way." She formed a smirk and suggested, "C'mon! Let's just go and have lunch at the Nasty Burger. After all, we all have a period free, right?"

The other A-Listers agreed with her, with Dash saying as he puts his arm around her and pulled her closer to him "A woman after my own heart."

Mia simply giggled "You have no idea, baby."

While Paulina followed them, she formed a bit of a worried look, as if she could feel that she was losing her status as 'leader of the A-Listers'. Kwan and Star meanwhile shared a glance, thinking that maybe Mia had gone too far when kicking Valarie out of their group.

Outside, Valerie sobbed while trying to crawl herself out of the trash container.

Lunette was there and offered her hand "Oh my gosh, Valerie. Are you alright?"

Valerie shook her head while she took her hand and stepped out of the garbage container "I… (sniff) I thought they were my friends…!"

Lunette shook her head "No, Val. They were not even close of being real friends to you."

Danny, Sam and Tucker came out too, checking on Valerie as how much she was bullied by the A-Listers for simply going through a tough time in her life and not being rich anymore.

Valerie sadly looked away, thinking that they would rub it in her face after all she did to them and would now face true karma.

But instead, Tucker offered her a towel "Here. I think you might need that."

Valerie took it and wiped off the dirt and garbage of her arms and face "Thanks…"

At first, Valerie didn't want anyone else to comfort her as she was going through enough. But after Lunette, Danny and Tucker were being so nice to her and help her after being treated like that by Mia's new cruel 'A-Listers policy', she was feeling a bit better to see that there were still some people that aren't as bad as her 'former friends', except for Sam as she didn't really wanted to get close to Valerie despite that she agreed what Mia and her minions had gone too far.

Then, as Valerie received a package carrying all kinds of anti-ghost weapons and suit from a person named Vlad, without knowing it was Vlad Plasmius who send it in order to cause trouble for Danny, she became a ghost hunter by the name Red Huntress, determined to have her revenge on the ghost-boy who she believed had ruined her life. Despite Danny trying to explain it wasn't his fault and had successfully send the ghost-dog Cujo back to the Ghost-Zone after finding his favorite plushy toy, Valerie still stubbornly wanted to destroy him, but Danny manages to get away as her father came.

With Valerie around, Danny had to take things more carefully when going ghost. However, even though Valerie had now become a ghost-hunter, she became closer to Danny, Tucker and even Lunette, while Sam still doesn't trust her.

With Lunette slowly beginning to like Danny more than just a friend, she wants to take things slow and not rushing things. However, a few days after Cujo being send back to the Ghost-Zone, Danny had decided to give something special to Lunette.

During lunchbreak, Lunette, Danuta, Bradley, Will and Linda were in the Casper High Hi-Lited office, with Bradley putting together the article about the school's football team's win against Jackson High on the screen, showing a picture with Dash scoring a touchdown.

Bradley groaned while saving the file and send it to Will's computer "This is bullshit! We've been doing nothing but what Mia wants us to show in the newspaper instead of telling what's truly happening around school!" he held up a few pictures of an attempted burglary happening a few nights before at school.

Lunette sighed while holding up her notepad which she wrote down in the hope to make that story about the burglary good enough to finally convince Mia to allow them to publish it. But to her disappointment, Mia refused and ordered them to focus on the football game winning last Wednesday.

Danuta, with her rising anger, slammed her plastic cup with tea on her desk, splashing some tea on it "This is got to stop! We're not even a real school paper anymore!"

Lunette shook her head, agreeing with her best friend "Yeah. If Dylan was still here, none of this would've happened," that made her think and asked the others "Say, did any of you managed to contact Dylan and see what his 'personal reasons' were to quit?"

Linda shook her head as she said "I've been going by his house several times, but he always avoids the question and doesn't want to share his true reasons."

"Then what could it be?" Will wandered.

Hearing this made Danuta and Lunette share a surprised glance, making them both think.

Then, there was a knock on the door. All looked as it opened, revealing to be Danny, asking "Hi. I hope I'm not interrupting or anything?"

Lunette formed a smile and walked over to him "No, not at all. What brings you here?"

Before Danny would answer, Will stated while narrowing his eyes, "If you have some story for us, I'm afraid you will have to go our editor, Mia Cross, first."

Danny however shook his head "Oh no, I didn't came for that," he looked back to Lunette and took something out of his pocket "I actually came here to… give you something."

This surprised Lunette, while Danuta thought it was sweet.

Danny opened his hand, revealing to be green/black earphones.

"Earphones?" Lunette asked.

"Not just earphones," Danny stated while putting them in Lunette's hand "These are the Fenton Phones. They're specially designed to filter out spectral noise. I was just thinking that… since you're a bit into ghosts and all, I thought… maybe these will be useful for you whenever you're again out to scoop for stories about ghosts or 'the ghost-boy'," he then formed a small blush "and also in case you wanna communicate with… me."

Lunette gave a small blush too before she smiled "I… thank you, Danny. That's sweet of you. And yeah, I… think I could use these."

"Great." Danny said before he was about to leave "Well, I gotta go and… do something important." That last line came with a bit awkward face as he'd decided that he wants to 'map out the Ghost-Zone' more with Sam and Tucker.

Lunette, hearing him saying he had to 'do something important', she instantly knew it had to do something with him as the ghost-boy and formed an ensuring smile "Oh, of course. No problem," she puts the Fenton Phones in both hear ears "So, we'll talk again soon?"

"Sure." Danny nodded and left "See you later, Lun!"

After Danny was gone, Danuta almost squealed with excitement "Ooooh, that's so sweet of him!" but then narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms "But seriously, you keeping yourself busy with ghosts is pretty weird."

"So? It's not my fault that I believe that ghosts and aliens exist." Lunette stated, reminding her best friend that she always had a fascination about the afterlife and extra-terrestrial life. She then used a small mirror to check out the Fenton Phones in her ears "You know… they look like nice earrings when you look at them from a different perspective."

Danuta shrugged "Well, if you like 'em, I won't judge."

That was when Mia came in and asked, "So? How's the article going everyone?" she threw her handbag in Danuta's face "Put that on my desk, will ya?" she arrogantly said without looking at her.

Danuta growled with anger how Mia treats her like a servant.

Lunette tried to calm her down as she puts her hand on Danuta's shoulder "Don't bother yourself, Danu. She's not worth it."

Danuta sighed, having calmed herself down and puts Mia's handbag on her desk.

"Hey, Gabor!" Mia called to her "We need you over here!"

Danuta took a deep breath, trying to control her anger while she and Lunette walked over to her as they looked at the article they made so far.

After some 'Mia adjustments', Mia was satisfied "Wonderfully done, you guys!" she then thought this office could use a bit of music and remember she bought a new CD "Hey, what about we put on some music?"

Linda gave a shrug "Uhh… sure. But what music are you gonna put on?" she asked while Mia went over to a CD-player.

"It's a new single I bought. The owner said it was the newest hit from the teenage rock girl named Ember McLain," Mia said while revealing the CD, being a black CD with blue flames on it saying: REMEMBER by EMBER MCLAIN.

Mia puts the CD in and pressed the button on play.

Ember you will remember

Ember one thing remains

Ember so warm and tender

You will remember my name!

Bradley, Linda, Will and Danuta immediately liked the song.

"Hey, this song is awesome!" Bradley said while both their eyes shined pink/purple for a moment before going back to normal, as if they were all hypnotized by it. Everyone and Mia began to cheer.

"EMBER! EMBER! EMBER!"

Lunette however raised an eyebrow, confused as everyone all of the sudden was so into this new song that only came out yesterday.

Seeing they were all too busy enjoying the song, Lunette took her things and said, "Right… I think I'll just go and do… something else." And left the office, still in a confused state "What was that all about?"

She bypassed another few students, all listening to Ember's song 'Remember'.

In fact, the whole obsession with the sudden rise of popularity for the teenage rocker Ember had spread like wildfire across Amity Park. Within a day, nearly every teenager and young adult in town had turned into big fans of their new teen rock idol. Surprisingly only Danny and Lunette didn't seemed to be affected by Ember's music.

Lunette sat in class with the rest of her classmates, including Danuta, Danny, Sam and Tucker, with all wearing helmets attached to a new computer system attached to their desks. This was a suggestion by Lancer in order to 'help the students' learn better and faster, and also because of a very important standardized test would begin in 2 days which would be good for his 'bonus'.

Though Lunette thought this was a good idea for students to learn better, she narrowed her eyes when hearing that Lancer is only doing it so he would receive a bonus on his salary.

"Let the learning begin." Lancer said before pressing the button on the machine to start the learning program.

But instead of the program, it showed on all the students' screens the rocker Ember when singing 'Remember' during a live concert.

Ember so warm and tender!

You will remember my name!

The whole class cheered while Danny and Lunette removed their helmets.

Sam cheered too "WHOOHOO! YEAH, EMBER ROCKS!"

Danny raised an eyebrow as she wasn't into her song this morning.

Then, Ember appeared with her band in front of the school while playing her rock song, making all the students cheer as they ran to see their big idol

"Hello, Casper High!" Ember shouted in the mike "Tell me who you love?!"

"EMBER! EMBER! EMBER! EMBER!" all the students shouted, which was like music in Ember's ears while her flaming robin's egg blue hair flared on and grew.

"That's it, baby! Say my name. Are you ready for a little youth revolution?!"

Everyone cheered again, while Danuta, being so into the song and shouted out while sitting on Will's shoulders "WE LOVE YOU, EMBER!"

Tucker and Sam were both held up in a mosh-pit style, cheering for Ember.

Danny and Lunette shared a confused glance.

"I don't get it. What's so special about her?" Lunette wandered as why everyone was all of the sudden so into Ember's music. But as she thought while scanning Ember carefully, she gasped as the flaming hair, the very pale skin and the strange special effects almost looked like… paranormal, making Lunette realize something "Oh my gosh…! Is Ember… a ghost?!"

As Lunette looked back at Danny, she saw to her surprise that he was gone.

"Danny?"

Then, Danny in his ghost form appeared and rescued Lancer from being overrun by hypnotized Ember fans.

Unfortunately, Ember had vanished into thin air, disappeared without a single trace.

That same night, at Lunette's house…

Lunette's father, Sean had just come home and said with a long sigh while hanging up his jacket "I'm home."

Lunette ran to her father and hugged her "Hey, daddy! Welcome back. How was your day?"

Sean rolled his eyes while putting his small suitcase down "It was a disaster at college, dear. Almost all students are now into this Ember. My whole class was completely distracted." He finished while narrowing his eyes.

"Really?" Lunette asked with surprise, as Ember's music was not only infecting those here in Amity Park, but even into Cleveland. She became worried that maybe Ember's hypnotic influence had already spread like wildfire.

"But now that I'm home, I wanted to talk to you about something, Lunette," Sean started.

"With what, Daddy?" Lunette asked.

Sean let her sit at the table as he began to tell "I heard from your mother that lately you're seeing this… boy named Danny Fenton?"

Lunette instantly blushed "Wha… Where did you get that idea?" she asked with some worry as her anxiety rose.

Sean sighed while telling her with a small ensuring smile, "Lunette, listen. If you have a boyfriend or anything, there's no reason to hide it or anything."

That made Lunette's eyes go wide with surprise "What?!" and raised her hands "No, Dad! Danny is not my boyfriend. He's just… a good friend, that's all." She said with some nervousness.

"Are you sure?" Sean asked his daughter with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes!" Lunette.

Thinking for a few seconds, Sean shrugged and stood up from the chair "Well, okay. If you say so, honey. But if you need some advice when it comes to boys, then-"

Lunette walked away while narrowing her eyes "Okay, bye!" and went up the stairs and headed to her room.

Lin then came out of the bathroom while wearing a bathrobe, looking with a confused look as Lunette bypassed her.

"Are you okay, sweetheart?" Lin asked.

Lunette stopped and gave a long sigh before asking her mother, "Mom, why do you think that when suddenly I'm hanging out with another boy that you think he's my boyfriend?"

Lin gave a small chuckle "It's the look you gave me earlier when you were mentioning about your new friend, Danny. I can tell that you like him more than just your friend. I think it's really sweet that you finally start to notice boys."

Lunette blushed 3 colors, before she groaned with annoyance "Mo-om! He's not my boyfriend! Ugh!" and walked away into her room and slammed the door shut.

Sean than came up stairs, walking over to his wife and said while crossing his arms "You know, though I don't really mind that our daughter is starting to hang out with different people, I'm concerned that Danny's family's believes in ghosts might be a bad example to Lunette."

Lin shared her husband's worry, but ensured him, "Dear, I know what you mean. But despite everything we tried, we cannot change Lunette's interests and believes overnight," she placed her hand on his shoulder "Let her be how she is. And just maybe this boy, Danny Fenton might not be so bad at all?"

"I sure hope so," Sean said while he shrugged.

Lin then pulled Sean's tie, making him lean closer to her and formed a flirty smile "You must be so tired after a long day of teaching. Maybe I could help you to… relax a bit?"

Sean formed a smile, seeing what his wife had in mind and allowed himself being taken to their bedroom for some… 'romance'.

The next day, at Casper High…

Lancer walked through the hallway, going through a dozen magazines he held in his hands with all of them having Ember McLain on their covers.

The vice-principal narrowed his eyes "If I see one hit of that woman in school today, I'll-" he paused as he shockingly sees most of the hallway decorated with Ember posters and all the students wearing Ember merchandise, wearing t-shirts with her face on it, with some students even going so far that they even were wearing the same outfit as Ember.

"Chicken Soup for the soul!" Lancer shouts out in shock.

Lunette arrived at school as well, being shocked as all the students having turned into die-hard Ember fans, even spotting Danuta wearing black rock clothes with Ember's name on it and Bradley having a tomahawk haircut "Okay… this is starting to get scary." She spots Danny and walks up to him "Hey, Danny."

Danny looks at Lunette, being relieved she hadn't been affected by Ember's hypnosis "Oh, thank God you weren't affected," he looked at all the Ember-controlling students "The entire school has turned into a giant Ember fan-club," he then spots Tucker, wearing a Egg Robin blue wig in a flaming hairstyle and even had Ember's signature makeup at the corner of his eyes.

"What's up, Ember fans!" Sam shouts out while raising rock'n'roll signs in the air.

Danny and Lunette look, seeing to their complete surprise that Sam was wearing a complete Ember outfit, having attached a fake Egg Robin blue ponytail to her hair and has even used body paint to make her skin pale white.

Tucker joined her and shouted "YEAH! We love Ember! WHOOHOO!"

Everyone cheered while chanting Ember's name.

Danny walked over to Sam and told her, "Sam, you're starting to scare me."

"What are you talking about? Ember is the most awesome rocker I've ever heard!" Sam shouted in excitement.

Danny narrowed his eyes at her and whispered so no one could hear them, "Uhm… you do know that Ember is an evil mind controlling spirit from another dimension, right?"

But just before Danny was going to say anything back, Paulina appeared, who also was wearing a complete Ember outfit "Hey, everyone! Ember is giving away free concert tickets at Bucky's Music Megastore!" she then complimented Sam's outfit "Great look, Manson. Especially the pale body paint."

"Thanks, Paulina." Sam said before shouting out to the other students "Well, what are we all waiting for?! Let's go to Bucky's before all the free tickets are out!"

Everyone cheered and ran for the exit, with Lancer unable to stop them.

Danny and Lunette realized they were now the only ones at school, with the both of them sharing a confused glance.

"Why aren't we affected by Ember's music?" Danny wandered.

Lunette shrugged, though thinking it might have to do with Danny being half-ghost "I'm… not sure. Maybe because you've been around your ghost-hunting parents so much that you've maybe developed some kind of… immunity?"

Danny shrugged as well "I don't know. Maybe? But why aren't you affected by Ember's music?"

"I… I don't know," Lunette said, not knowing the answer "Maybe because Ember's music isn't my thing?"

"Perhaps."

Lunette shook her head with worry "But Ember can't roam free forever. My father told me that even at his college in Cleveland students are also having turned into big Ember fans. If this continues, she could take over every teenage minds in the country!"

"Or worse," Danny thought "the whole world." He walked over to his locker and opened it, taking out the Fenton Thermos "I'm maybe not a professional ghost hunter like my parents, but somebody's got to do something about it."

"Maybe the ghost-boy could?" Lunette suggested, which made her blush deep red as she'd spoke that out and covered her mouth.

Danny raised his eyebrows at her, but then shrugged "Maybe… he could…" he showed some nervousness, before showing a determined look on his face "but we don't even know where the ghost-boy is, so as long as the ghost-boy isn't around, we need to take care of this."

Lunette blinked her eyes in surprise at Danny "We?"

Danny nodded "Well, you were kinda amazingly cool and intelligent when you were able to figure out Spectra being a ghost and also when you used the Fenton Peeler on her."

Lunette blushed even deeper while forming a small smile and asked while moving a piece of her hair behind her ear "You… you really think I'm cool and intelligent?"

Now it was Danny who blushed while looking away, trying to hide it.

"Not so fast," Lancer said with a serious tone at them and grabbed their arms "The two of you may be the only students left in the entire school, but that's not going to stop me from giving you an education!" and dragged them through the hallway, determined to still educate them.

Danny knew he could easily go intangible to escape Lancer's grasps, but knew he couldn't do that with Lunette around. But thought of an idea and whispered to her, "Hold my hand."

Lunette looked surprised at him "What?"

"Trust me."

Lunette blushed but took his hand. Danny went intangible, making Lunette intangible too and both escaped Lancer's grasp.

Danny quickly took her with him till they were far away from Lancer.

Lancer, when realizing he wasn't holding Danny and Lunette anymore, shockingly gasps as looks back, seeing they were gone "Lord of the Flies, they slip right through my hands!"

Danny took Lunette outside the school, with her asking him, "How did you do that?!"

Danny looked nervously for a moment "Uh… uh-uh…" coming up quickly with a little lie "It's… a new invention by my parents! It allows you to phase through anything," but then stated "but it's only used for one time so I'm afraid I won't be able to do it again."

Lunette already knew he was only saying it because he wanted to hide him being a half-ghost and formed a smile "Oh. Cool!" she took her bicycle helmet and puts it on before unlocking her bicycle "Let's go."

But Danny stated "Actually, I need to do something quickly. Something… so important that I can't go to Bucky's Music Megastore with you right now…!" he ran away "But I'll meet you there soon, I promise!"

Lunette sighed while she smiled as he 'left', but knew he wanted to go ghost somewhere more safe.

She quickly drove with her bicycle and left the school, heading quickly for Bucky's Music Megastore.

When she was almost there, she notices Danny in his ghost form flying in the air. Lunette dreamily sighed while she blushed when watching him… but then almost hit a car but avoided him in time while the driver blew the horn!

"Sorry!" Lunette apologized.

"Watch where you're going!" the driver angrily called to her.

Inside the Music Megastore, hundreds of teenagers were cheering for Ember while her music song was heard everywhere.

Ember appeared, materializing from purple smoke atop a large balcony above them, with every teenager she'd hypnotized, including Jazz, Sam and Tucker cheering loudly for her.

Ember threw out many free concert tickets for her 'fans' to catch.

"Tell me who you LOVE!"

"EMBER! EMBER! EMBER! EMBER! EMBER!"

Ember's body glowed as she became stronger and her flaming hair became larger.

Lunette managed to sneak into the Megastore through the large crowd, spotting Ember on top of the large balcony.

"Something tells me that these 'fans' of hers won't be very happy to see Danny sucking their dear idol into that Fenton Thermos." Lunette wandered while quickly taking several pictures with her camera before spotting Danny phasing inside.

Lunette then looked at the large Ember cardboard. She got an idea, but she got a bit scared "Okay… this might be very foolish and I will possibly get hurt!" but then sees Danny trying to approach Ember, making Lunette determined to help him defeat Ember "But I'm doing it for you, Danny." And moved through the crowd to climb up to the big clipboard.

Not long after, someone in the crowd notices Lunette using a red marker to draw big glasses and a big mocking mustache on Ember's clipboard face "Hey, look! Up there!"

Everyone looked, seeing Lunette to their confirmation.

"HEY, EMBER MCLAME!" Lunette shouted, making the rocker-ghost surprisingly look at her "YOUR MUSIC SUUUUUUUCKS!" she shouted.

Ember feels her flaming hair became less, making her look angry at the girl "Oh, great. A critic," but then formed an evil grin when taking out her guitar "Maybe you like my new song better?"

But just before she was about to do anything to Lunette, Danny Phantom appeared and fired a ghost-ray at her, knocking her back hard!

"Hey, do you take requests?" Danny asked while standing battle ready "How about 'Beat it'?"

Ember flew up while glaring at him "how about I just lay down a few power chords instead, dipstick!" she hits the strings on her guitar hard, sending a green sound-wave at him and knocks him far back just before he could use the Fenton Thermos to capture her!

The thermos flies through the air, hanging on the clipboard close to Lunette.

As she sees Ember attempting to escape with Danny following her, Lunette looked at the thermos, knowing that he couldn't capture her without it. After being able to reach for it, she climbs over to a stairway leading to the roof while bypassing a lot of Ember-fans.

However, on the roof, while Danny tries to fight Ember, he shockingly discovers that all the chanting from 'her fans' causes her to become more powerful and easily overpowers him.

"And if you think I'm strong now, just wait until midnight!" Ember states while floating in front of Danny with her flaming hair flaring up and smirked evilly "When my concert goes global and the whole world's chanting my name, then you all will be my slaves!" she hits the cords on her guitar again, sending a powerful ghost ray at him, knocking Danny far back and hit a big clipboard of the ghost-rocker that fell down.

Danny's head was spinning, feeling he wasn't strong enough to defeat Ember in this powerful state and accidentally transformed back into his human form.

Ember formed a grin while staring down at how helpless Danny was against her powers.

Suddenly, Lunette comes out from the roof-door, seeing to her shock Danny laying on the floor and wasn't in his ghost form "DANNY!"

Danny blinked surprised when seeing it was Lunette, shocked that she was here with a powerful Ember that could easily take her down "Lunette? No, get away from here!"

Lunette frowned at Ember and runs to him, standing between her and Danny "You get away from here, or else…!" she tried to remove the cover of the Fenton Thermos, but it was stuck "Oh no. Not now!"

Ember raised an eyebrow at her, but seeing why Lunette was protecting Danny, she formed a smirk "Aw, teen love. They say it never lasts," she shrugs while Lunette blinked in surprise and felt awkward about the situation, making her blush "but nothing distracts teenagers more than hormones." Ember turns the dial to a heart symbol "And I need to keep you busy for the next 8 hours." She raises her hand, ready to cast her new spell power on them both "I have more than just music for you. now that they're chanting my name my music CAN affect you!" she hit the strings hard, sending a wave of pink energy full of hearts to Lunette and Danny "How about a love song!?"

Lunette braces herself for impact, screaming as she is blown away and sliding on the cutout hanging precariously over the edge of the roof, while Danny's eyes glowed pink when being hit by the pink wave!

Thankfully, Lunette stopped halfway on the cutout.

Danny blinks for a second before he forms a goofy and dreamy grin. He turns to face Lunette, forming a dreamy 'falling in love' smile.

Lunette looks confused and nervously, as nobody has ever given her 'that look' before.

Seeing her spell had 'worked', Ember smirks "Well, I think I'll leave the new couple alone," she turns intangible and phased through the roof, escaping "Ciao, babies! Hahahahahaha!"

"New couple?" Lunette asked confused before looking at Danny, seeing he was dreamily approaching her, making the cutout tip over, making Lunette gasp "Wait, Danny!" she instantly, without even waiting, jumps over to Danny and he catches her, holding her in a bride-style while the cutout tips over and fall down on the street, with the people running away in time before the Ember-cutout crashes down on the ground, right on top of a few cars!

"Wow, Lun… I just never realized that… you look really pretty when you're about to fall of a building." Danny said in a dreamy loving trance.

With him saying that, made Lunette blush deeply "Wait, you…" she formed a small smile "you really think I'm pretty?"

To her, it was like a dream come true as her secret crush was showing the same feelings for her.

But when she realized that Danny is only acting like this because of Ember's love spell, Lunette snapped out of it and released herself from Danny holding her "No, Danny, wait! It's only Ember. She has puts you in some kind of hypnotic spell."

Danny blinks and some worry grew in him "Does this mean we're breaking up?"

"Huh?" Lunette asks surprised, blushing again, "No, I mean… not really, but…"

"So we're not breaking up!" Danny smiles with hope.

Lunette was at a loss of words. Despite part of her likes being noticed by her crush, she knew it wasn't real and Danny was only forced to love her that way "But… but, I… you…"

Danny held her hands "It doesn't matter. What matters is is that we have each other." he said with a flirty dreamy smile.

Lunette blushed even deeper, trying to surprise a smile but was unable to as she felt butterflies in her belly and her heartbeat was rising.

But this 'romantic moment' was disturbed when police officers came on the roof "Hold it right there, you teenage love birds!" one of the officers said "You are both under house arrest." Two officers grabbed their arms and dragged them away "You will now be returned to your homes."

Later, at the Kaye residence…

After the police brought her back home, both Lunette's parents were very disappointed in their daughter for skipping school just to see Ember. Even though Lunette tried to explain that she wasn't there to get free concert tickets, her parents wouldn't hear it, thinking it was a typical excuse for a teenage girl to make to escape punishment. Sean and Lin grounded their daughter, much to her shock and frustration.

Lunette lay worriedly on her bed. With Ember still out there and planning to take over the world and Lunette unable to warn Danny as her parents had confiscated both her phone and computer, even though it might be pointless as Danny was in a too far 'fake love' state to be brought back to reality.

"Oh God, what do I gotta do now?" she worriedly told herself "Ember is about to take over the world with her music and Danny is still under that love spell. There's got to be something I must do?!" she shouted and covered her ears, feeling the Fenton Phones.

But as she touched them, Lunette gasped when she realized why she wasn't hypnotized by Ember's music.

"Yes… yes, of course!" she shouted with joy and took the Fenton Phones "The communicators that Danny gave me are able to filter out ghost noises. That is why I wasn't affected by Ember's music!"

Then, she heard Ember's music outside. She quickly puts the Fenton Phones back in her ears and looked outside, spotting a truck driving by that was promoting the ghost-rocker's song. To Lunette surprise, seeing all the teenagers escaping their homes and running after the truck to head to Ember's concert.

"Oh no…" Lunette said, knowing that nothing was gonna stop any of these hypnotized fans to see Ember's concert. Deep down, she had to warn Danny and try anything to make sure he would go and stop Ember.

As Lunette peaked out of her window, she looked at the long rain pipe next to her window, then down with some fear rising in her "Okay… okay…" she reached out for the pipe, grabbing herself onto it… and began sliding down fast "Aaaaaaaaah!" and fell into some bushes.

Lunette groaned while getting up. Though the bushes broke her fall, she still felt pain on her back and side "Ugh…! I really need to get better in gym." She then ran as quickly as she could to Danny's place.

When arriving at Danny's place, Lunette spotted a ladder and used it to climb up to where she assumed was his window. As she peeked inside, she spotted Danny sitting on his bed, meditating while repeating her name.

"Lunette… Lunette… Lunette…"

Lunette knocked on his window "Danny!"

Danny looked and smiled while his eyes sparkled "Lunette! You snuck out to see me! Just is just like Romeo and Juliet, except I'm the one on the balcony and-"

"Danny, please, just open up!" Lunette said.

Danny opened the window, allowing her to enter.

"You want me to open up?" Danny asked before nodding "Okay! One time when I was five I always wanted a puppy but-"

Desperate, Lunette grabbed his shoulders "Danny, just stop!" she cried out desperately "I… what you're feeling isn't real!" she then blushed and looked away as he let go of him "I know that… well… some part of me likes this, but…"

Danny held her hand and softly said, "It's okay. As long as we have each other, everything will work out in the end."

"But… but, I…" every single part of her soul wanted this to never end, but in her mind Lunette tried to remind herself that Ember is still at large and can take over the world if Danny won't do anything. She heavily shook her head "No! It's not real! Nothing about it is real!" tears formed in her eyes "Danny, you have to snap out of whatever Ember has done to your mind. You don't really feel that way about me and… I don't… I…" she tried to say that she doesn't feel the same, but couldn't deny her inner feelings and couldn't bear to break his heart like that.

Danny was confused as why Lunette was acting like this, but then asked with a small smile "If you're so afraid, then why are you still holding my hand?"

Lunette looked and blushed deep red.

"And why are you still wearing those ear rings I gave you?"

Lunette sighed and stated as she let go of his hand, "Danny, these aren't ear rings you gave me, remember? They're communicators that filter out ghost noise. That's why I was the only one not being affected by Ember's music. I've been wearing these the whole time." She sadly looked away.

Danny raised an eyebrow, looking with some worry "Does this mean we're breaking up?"

Lunette's eyes went wide, realizing how she might be able to break the love spell over Danny. Though it would hurt both him and her, she knew she had no other choice. She gathered all the courage she had in her and tried as hard as she could to keep the anxiety out of her mind.

Lunette turned over to Danny with a sad face and told him, even though it wasn't what she really wanted, "Danny… listen…" he waited for what she wanted to say "You're a great guy and all… and any girl would be lucky to have you… but…"

Worry grew in Danny while Lunette felt like her soul was breaking in half for saying these awful words.

"I don't think that… this… that this is working out…" Lunette said with a very heavy heart and looked away again.

Danny felt his hands were shaking and his heart rate rising "Lun… you… you want to break up with me?"

A soft sob came from Lunette, feeling her voice was trembling and gave a slow nod, not being able to bare to look at Danny as it was too painful for her to say "…Y-yes… Yes… I can't do this, Danny… I… I'm sorry."

"Lun…" Danny said with a slow and shocking voice, not believing what she was saying "No…" he felt deep down his heart had broken in several pieces. But then, the sparkling in his eyes vanished as Ember's love spell was broken. Danny felt like he'd awaken from a dream he couldn't escape and heavily shook his head "Whoa…! What the hell?"

Lunette gasped and turned back, seeing that it had worked and Danny wasn't hypnotized anymore. But she still felt really bad and said, "Danny, I… I'm so sorry."

Danny looked down sadly "What we were… we weren't really, were we?"

Lunette shook her head "No, Ember did that. And… well… though part of me really liked this of finally being noticed by a boy… I knew it wasn't real and I just… I just couldn't do it," she held his hand "I'm so sorry that I had to break your heart that way. I just couldn't figure out anything else to break the spell… cause you're the only one who can stop Ember."

Danny looked at her with a bit of a surprised "But why me? I'm… just some kid." She told her.

Lunette took the Fenton Thermos and placed it in his hands "Because you're the hero this town needs…"

Danny's eyes blinked when Lunette said that, seeing the look in her eyes that she believes in him.

'Why is she telling me this? Does she… know that I have ghost powers?' Danny mentally asked himself. The small smile she gave him, made him to smile back.

But as he heard loud cheering from the stadium coming, Danny turned, thinking about how Ember forced him to love someone only to hurt his feelings. A rage grew in him, making his eyes glow green, "Ember!"

"Danny? Are you okay?" Lunette asked.

Danny shook his head, showing a face of determination "No. I feel like my heart's been ripped out," before he shouted "but I know who I can take it out on!" he ran to the window, climbing down using the ladder and ran through the street.

Lunette looked at him as he ran into a street to transform before flying out and flew with speed towards the stadium. Lunette smiled with proudness at him, praying deep in her for him, "Go get her, Danny…"

Danny fought Ember with everything he had. Though almost all the world was chanting her name, making Ember almost too strong to defeat, Danny managed to outsmart her by ruining Ember's concert by allowing Tucker singing falsely out loud in the mike, causing all of Ember's 'fans' and the world snap out of it, making her lose all her powers and Danny captured her in the Fenton Thermos, ending Ember's popularity and plans to enslave humanity.

And even as Danny was happy to see he'd saved both Amity Park and the world from becoming Ember loving fan-slaves and his two best friends, Sam and Tucker, the hero felt he needed to talk to Lunette, as his guts told him that she may have known his secret identity all along and needed to know for sure he could trust her.

The next day at Casper High…

With Lancer being very disappointed in every student that had scored a bad grade on the standardized tests, being the worst scores in school's history, everyone was forced to follow a long mandatory CramTastic session.

Once the session was over, it was 4:30 PM and Lancer's class was dismissed.

Danuta sighed with relief when walking out of Lancer's class together with Lunette "Pfew! Glad that's over." She said while rubbing her head as she gotten some headache because of all the information she had to gather.

Lunette nodded "Yeah."

When they just arrived at their lockers, Danny walked up to them, asking Lunette, "Hey, Lun. You got a minute?"

Lunette looked a bit surprised, but then smiled "Uhm… okay." she then told Danuta "Hey, Danu, I-"

"I get it, Lun. Just go." She ensured before giving her a wink.

Lunette followed Danny through a few hallways till they were outside at the schoolyard.

"What do you wanted to talk about, Danny?" Lunette asked.

Danny asked, "Do you know of… my secret?"

Lunette looked surprised at him before looking a bit nervous while sweat was coming from her forehead "Wha…?! What do you mean?" she said, trying to deny it as her anxiety grew.

Danny sighed and got to the point "It's about what you said last night, after you managed to break Ember's love spell on me and you said that 'I'm the hero this town needs'."

Lunette paused, seeing that he'd figured out that she knew he has ghost powers. She looked down and said after she sighed, "I… had my suspicions at first. I wasn't sure at first but… during the whole 'Spectra thing', you and your friends being always around when ghosts attack, your parents with all their ghost-hunting technology, I just felt that it gotta have a reason. So… after analyzing every single picture I took of you in your ghost form… It all finally made sense. You're the ghost-boy," she formed a small smile while looking back at him "The one who keeps this town safe from evil ghosts… The one who saved my life when that blob-ghost captured me when I was onto Spectra's plan."

"Then, if you knew about it, then why didn't you go and tell everyone?" Danny wandered "I mean, with a story like this, you could've easily become 'journalist of the year', so to speak."

Lunette paused for a moment before telling "Well, honestly… it was tempting and all… and yeah… maybe such a scoop would've made me famous. But because I saw how much good you did for the town and for the school, it just didn't felt right, and also because… I'm not someone who betrays her friends or anyone else just for my own selfish gains," she then honestly told him with a bit of sadness, "I'm sorry I didn't told you… I wanted to tell you sooner that I knew about your secret identity, but… I couldn't. I wanted to wait till… maybe someday… you would trust me enough that you would tell me yourself."

Danny blinked his eyes after hearing this from Lunette, seeing that though she knew the truth, she never wanted to expose him as she knew he was using his powers for good.

Lunette held his hand "You don't have to worry about anything, Danny. Your secret is safe with me. You have my word."

Danny smiled back at her and gave her a hug, which surprised Lunette. But as how nice this felt, she formed a small smile and returned the hug.

Danny felt so much relief that Lunette wasn't using him just to get a story and would take his secret with her into her grave, having seen it clear in her eyes that Lunette wasn't lying and knew now that Sam was wrong about her.

Tucker, who was looking for Danny, walked into the schoolyard. He paused when he spotted Danny and Lunette sharing a hug.

Tucker formed a proud smile seeing Danny and Lunette like this. He did wander what he saw in Lunette, but not wanting to disturb them, he decided to give them some privacy.

After a few minutes, Danny and Lunette broke the hug and looked at each other, both hiding a blush.

"I…" Lunette started, "…guess I should be going."

Danny nodded "Yeah… sure."

Lunette said her goodbyes to him, "See you around… ghost-boy." She finishes with a smile and left.

Danny gave her a small wave as he watched her leaving. As soon as she was gone, Danny left the schoolyard too, still feeling glad that Lunette was a true friend he could count on and would keep his secret, even if she's a school paper journalist. But then he thought about Sam and Tucker, wandering how they would take it now that Lunette knows of him being half-ghost.

Danny sighed, hoping for the best "I hope they'll take it well. Especially Sam."

Later, behind the Nasty Burger…

"YOU WHAAAAT?!" Sam yelled out loud.

The goth's outburst startled some inside the fast food business and even people outside.

Tucker, though he was surprised to hear from Danny that Lunette knew about his secret identity and Danny confirmed it to her, he was more shocked by Sam's eruption of shock and disbelief.

Danny raised his hands, trying to explain to her, "I know this sounds bad, but-"

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT SHARING SECRETS WITH THAT… that… GIRL!" Sam almost lost for words as she was so angry and disappointed in Danny for recklessly exposing himself to someone else but her and Tucker, especially because she's a journalist.

Danny was starting to get annoyed by Sam's constant criticism and told her, "Now look, Sam! Lunette said herself that she isn't the type of person that betrays others just for some publicity or fame! Besides, she helped me expose Spectra and she was also a great help when Ember was THIS close to take over the world while you and Tucker had been turned into die hard hypnotized-Ember fans! I had no one else to count on, expect her. And without her… I don't think I would've even made it out alive. If you ask me, that's more than enough for me to fully trust her."

"Well…" Sam was surprised as how Danny spoke to her that way, telling her that nothing was gonna change his mind. She then frowned and crossed her arms "…I don't!"

"Well… then…" Danny tried to find the right words, but couldn't as he turned and looked away "…that's tough for you." he said under his mouth.

However, Sam had clearly heard it which shocked her before she frowned at him "What did you just say?"

Danny shook his head "Nothing."

"No, no, no," Sam was clearly not letting him get of that easy and demanded "I clearly heard you saying-"

Danny couldn't control his rising anger anymore and yelled in her face while his eyes glowed bright green "I SAID; THAT'S TOUGH FOR YOU!"

Sam gasped, shocked by his response and took a few steps back.

Seeing her frightened face, same for Tucker who too was scared by his outburst, Danny immediately felt regret of yelling like that to his best friend. He quickly calmed himself while his eyes became normal again "I… I'm sorry, Sam. I shouldn't have yelled to you like that." he shook his head, "I'm just…" he sighed deep and asked her, "Why don't you trust me for once?"

"What?"

"I mean… you've been acting like this ever since I gave Lunette that one single interview. You always give her the look like you wanna stab her in the back, calling her names and constantly try to keep me away from her,"

"It's because I care about you, Danny," Sam tried to tell him "And I don't want you to make a mistake that could ruin you or get you exposed."

Danny sighed and shook his head "Is it so hard for you to trust other people other than me and Tucker? Have you ever even tried to open yourself to others?"

"What does that have to do with anything?!" Sam asked, becoming angry again.

"That you never trust anyone but yourself, Sam! You always judge people before getting to know them. And with every ghost that crosses my path, it's always with you 'Shoot first and ask questions never'!" Danny confronted Sam with the die hard truth. Though he tried to control himself as he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Sam "If you would've just tried a little bit to get to know ghosts better and give them a second chance, you would finally realize that not all of them are as bad as the Lunch Lady or Skulker, or Spectra or Ember."

Sam and Tucker were both confused, with Tucker asking, "Dude, what are you talking about? I don't want to sound all negative about it Danny, but so far, every ghost we encountered has either tried to destroy, capture, enslave or hurt people, not to mention that Skulker wanted to capture you for sports.

"But Poindexter wasn't," Danny stated.

"Poindexter?" Sam asked surprised.

Danny nodded "Yes. He only took over my body because he thought I was the bully," he shrugged "You know, I could've just broken his mirror and prevent him from ever entering our world again… But I didn't. I choose to give him a second chance," he then formed a small smile "And truth be told, as a result of that, I started to get to know him better and I began to understand that he's only haunting the school so he could protect other nerds from bullies because he wants to prevent others from being hurt badly like he had to endure back in the 50's."

Sam and Tucker exchanged a surprised and confused glance.

"If it wasn't for Lunette… I would've never realized that not all ghosts are evil, that some are just trying to help those in need or just simple want to be left alone because they've faced so much hardships when they were still alive. Maybe it's time to… try to fight ghosts differently, to try to find out what truly motivates them to act all destructive and all that. And maybe… help them." Danny stated, telling his best friends that thanks to Lunette, he began to see ghosts differently and aren't any different than humans, wanting to perhaps battle ghosts differently… perhaps even helping them.

Tucker seemed impressed by this revelation. Sam however wasn't sure to believe this and asked Danny, "So what? You expect us to be 'okay' about it and start to like Lunette Kaye all of the sudden and just let every ghost haunt this town?"

Danny shook his head "I'm not asking you to like her or to immediately like all the ghosts, all that I ask the both of you to trust me on this," Danny told her, wanting to see if she and Tucker are okay with this "Lunette isn't a bad person. The both of you are my best friends and… despite we had our ups and downs ever since I had ghost powers, you kept my ghost powers a secret and helped me battling against ghosts and keep the town safe. And truthfully, Lunette isn't any different than us."

Sam and Tucker exchanged another glance.

Danny faced Tucker, "Well, Tuck? Do you trust me on this?"

Tucker was thinking for a second, wandering if this new approach of Danny handling invading ghosts might work. As he thought back when Lunette found out his secret and didn't exposed him but actually helped him before, Tucker formed a small smile and ensured Danny, "Well… she did saved you before… and also knocked you out of that love spell that Ember put you in. So… if you trust her, Danny, than I guess she deserves a chance. Not so sure about this new 'approach' you wanna try it when it comes to ghosts, but I'll try to support you."

Danny smiled back at Tucker, being thankful that at least one of his best friends supported him.

He sighed while looking at Sam, waiting for what she was going to say "Well, Sam? What about you?"

Sam narrowed her eyes while looking back. Every inch of herself told her that Lunette is nothing but bad news and they shouldn't turn a blind eye on all the ghosts. The thought of Lunette being around Danny and getting close was really getting on her nerves and angry to the core, not to mention what this could mean for Danny and he could become as evil as the other evil ghosts. But at the same time, she didn't wanted to lose Danny and show that she cares about him… even trying to support things that he wants to do for the best. Thinking about the words he asked her if she doesn't trust him made her think deep.

Sam couldn't just leave her emotions aside and trust Lunette, or any ghost. But she couldn't risk to lose Danny's friendship either. She looked back at Danny with an understanding look and said, "It's… I still don't feel this is right, Danny." She made him clear, but took a deep sigh "but… if you truly think that Lunette can be trusted and you want to try to battle ghosts differently… then… you have my support."

Danny formed a small smile, feeling relieved that Sam was willing to give Lunette a chance.

"Thanks, guys."

Not long after, they entered the Nasty Burger to grab a burger. Tucker whispered and asked Danny, "You like that girl, don't you?"

Danny was surprised by what Tucker asked him, "Huh? What do you mean?"

Tucker chuckled as he gave him a gentle elbow "I don't have to be a genius to figure out that you like her."

Danny rolled his eyes "C'mon, Tuck. Just because I trust her and seeing she's a great friend doesn't mean I immediately… like her." he finishes while he blushed.

Tucker laughed "Hahahahaha. I knew it!"

"Knew what?" Sam asked as she turned herself and faced them.

Danny shook his head, trying to hide his blush "Uhm… nothing!"

Sam gave him a suspicious look while raising an eyebrow.

With Lunette showing that she's to be trusted and is now being officially part of 'Team Phantom', she began aiding Danny and his friends anyway she could when it came to fighting ghosts. She even took the opportunity to take some pictures of him fighting ghosts for the school paper, much to Sam's dislike. However, how much she tried, Mia always didn't allowed her to publish anything about him, much to Lunette's growing frustration.

As Lunette was now part of Danny's friend group, they spend more time together and even learned to use some of the anti-ghost weapons and gadgets that they 'borrowed' from Jack and Maddie's lab.

Danny's new approach to try to 'help' ghosts instead of fighting them immediately hadn't really gone the right way in the beginning as he expected, but Lunette was there to calm him and state that it would take some time and all he needs is patience, which Danny dearly appreciated. Tucker was more supportive and agreed with Lunette on it, while Sam remained with her same pessimistic attitude and 'advised' Danny he should go back to fight ghosts the old way.

However, just as Danny was about to give up, he finally got his chance when Johnny 13 showed up, with his first intension to find a new host for his girlfriend Kitty to take over so she could join him into the human world as she was stuck in the portal, wanting to use Jazz as a new host. But Danny, thinking his head this time and taking some tips from Lunette, he was able to find out the true reason for Johnny 13 to try to flirt with his sister and make him his 'girlfriend'. With Danny and Lunette's help, they were able to pull Kitty out of the portal without having to use Jazz, much to the ghost couple's joy.

Seeing that Johnny 13 and Kitty only wanted to go into the human world as how much better it is than the Ghost-Zone, Danny allowed them to stay for 1 day on the condition of not causing any chaos. To his relief, that wasn't Johnny or Kitty's intension.

And so, when they spend a great day together in the human world, Johnny 13 and Kitty returned to the Ghost-Zone as promised.

It seemed that Danny's new way of handling ghosts were starting to pay off. Things would get better after all.

However… that would all change a few days later when Walker invaded the human realm together with his ghost police force, using Wulf's ability to claw into the human world without using the ghost portal, with Walker planning to turn Danny Phantom's world against him by overtaking people who're closest to him, thinking that Danny would then 'beg' Walker to lock him back up in his prison in the Ghost-Zone.

With Amity Park under ghost-lockdown, which was placed by Jack and Maddie, made it for Danny almost impossible to go ghost without anyone would notice. When Danny managed to free Wulf and turn him into an ally, he and Lunette found out about Walker's plan and attempted to stop him. But in the end, it was all to no avail as Walker overtook the mayor's body and made the people believe he was being attacked by Danny. And even with Walker defeated and send back into the Ghost-Zone, with Wulf being end back as well by Maddie using the Fenton-Bazooka.

As the people now see Danny's ghost form 'Inviso Bill' as public enemy number 1, it would make things more harder for Danny to protect the town. Even Lunette's attempt to show them the evidence she collected that the 'ghost-boy' is innocent and was set up by a ghost named Walker and overtook the mayor's body to frame him, nobody believed her, with some even laughing at her for making them believe that some ghosts are good.

At the Amity Park bowling alley…

It has been 3 days since Walker's attack on Amity Park. Though Danny tried to still protect Amity Park from some evil ghosts, people still saw him as the enemy.

Danny took a bowling ball as it was his turn. Despite he was focusing on the pins, his mind was still when last night Lunette sadly told him and his friends that her attempts to show the local newspaper didn't believed her that Danny was set up. Even the tv-station thought that Lunette was crazy and send her away.

His mind became more frustrated as he was about to throw, making him miss and accidentally threw onto a different lane.

"HEY!" a guy angrily said as Danny threw his ball and hit some pins before he could throw "Watch where you throw, kid!"

Danny apologized while raising his hands "Sorry, sir!"

As he took another ball, Tucker, who was eating some French fries, asked him, "You okay, dude? You seem to be a bit on edge."

Danny shook his head "I… I don't know, Tuck. I'm just having a lot on my mind right now, that's all." As Danny threw a new bowling ball, he missed his target and only managed to hit 1 pin.

Sam, while taking a sip from her soda, asked while narrowing her eyes, "Look, if this has something to do with Lunette trying to clear your name and failed, you can't expect the people will suddenly believe that."

That made Danny more frustrated and just threw his bowling ball on the lane, missing all pins "It was all right there, Sam! Every picture and audio tape that proves that Walker set me up. Everything to show the people that I am not the bad guy. And still, NOBODY EVEN WANTS TO LISTEN!" he yelled out, causing some people in the bowling alley to turn their heads to Danny.

Tucker rose up and told Danny, trying to calm him, "Dude, relax."

"Relax? Relax?! How the hell can I relax when nobody…!" Danny almost yelled out again, but managed to control himself. He shook his head and took his jacket as he left "I'm sorry, guys. I just don't feel like bowling right now. Talk to you soon."

At that moment, Valerie and Lunette arrived in the bowling alley as Tucker had invited them over to spend some time with them.

Danny, Tucker and Lunette were hanging out with Valerie more, even comforting her as how tough things are for her and her father are right now. Though Sam wasn't all in for it, she tried to at least be a little bit more… nicer to Valerie. As how much they've helped her through, Valerie began to consider Danny, Tucker and Lunette as her real friends, having finally realized that the A-Listers never truly were her friends and was only allowed to be part of her their social group because she used to be rich. Kwan was the only one still being a bit friendly towards her, but was forced by Dash and the others to ignore Valerie completely, especially after Mila gave Kwan a 'warning lecture' what happens to those who associate with 'losers' outside their group.

"Sorry that I had to let you wait for so long. You must be quite disappointed." Valerie told Lunette as she'd shown up late because of her new job at the Nasty Burger to save money to go to college as her father doesn't have any savings left on his bank account to support her.

Lunette ensured her, "It's okay, Val. The most important thing is that we at least made it as promised."

That was when they saw Danny, appearing to be walking towards them, with Valerie saying with a smile, "Hey, Danny! Over here!" but her smile faded when seeing Danny in a sad state "Hey, what's wrong?"

Danny gave a shrug "I just don't feel like bowling right now," he pointed with his thump to where they'd rented a bowling lane "Sam and Tucker are already there. You can take my spot. See you later." And he left.

Lunette was sure that something was bothering Danny more than what meets the eye. She said to Valerie as soon as Danny left the building "You go and see Sam and Tucker. I'll be right back." And went after Danny.

Valerie gave a nod and walked over to Sam and Tucker, saying, "Hey, guys. Sorry that I'm late," and puts her bag on one of the chairs "What's wrong with Danny that he doesn't want to go bowling anymore?"

Not wanting her to know that Danny is the ghost-boy as they knew Valerie would instantly try to vaporize him, Tucker gave a shrug, thinking of a little lie to cover for Danny, "He just has a lot of things on his mind. Probably all the stress with school and homework…"

Valerie believed that part as Lancer gave everyone a lot of homework lately and said, "Yeah… Lancer sure has put a lot of pressure on us as he wants us to finish everything before the summer."

Sam then wandered and asked Valerie, "Where's Lunette?"

"Oh, she went after Danny. Probably to cool his head, I believe," Valerie stated as she puts her bag down before she formed a smirk, knowing what's going on between him and Lunette "I wouldn't be surprised if they end up together."

This shocked Sam before she frowned with jealousy "What do you mean?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Valerie gave shrug, thinking Sam would've known by now "Helping each other with homework. The laughter they share. The stories they come up with for the school paper."

Hearing that, earned a surprise look from Tucker, who said, "Helping each other with homework?"

Valerie nodded,

"I didn't knew Danny ever did homework." Tucker said.

However, Sam's mind was in a state of panic, frustration, anger and jealousy. Without saying anything, she rose up and left the bowling alley.

"Where's she going?" Valerie wandered.

Tucker gave a shrug "Maybe to the restroom? I would after drinking like… 4 glasses of diet coke." He figured, thinking that Sam went to the ladies restroom as she'd drank 4 glasses of coke over the course of 30 minutes.

However, Sam didn't went to where Tucker thought she went to, but looking for Danny and Lunette, with thoughts racing through her mind, praying it couldn't be true.

It didn't took long for Sam to find Danny and Lunette, who were talking in an small alleyway a block away from the bowling alley.

"I know you're frustrated, Danny," Lunette said with a comforting voice. "but just because the people won't believe you now, doesn't mean they never will."

Danny shook his head, despite wanting to believe Lunette, it was so hard for him to see it that way "But… it's the truth. We showed it to them! You showed them! But they shoved it away like garbage!"

"I know, Danny," Lunette said as she held his hand. "But I have faith they will believe you one day… because I have faith in you for keeping doing the right thing."

Danny looked into her eyes, blinking a few times.

"You're a good person, Danny… So don't let anyone try to change that, please?" Lunette plead him.

Danny sighed as he held his hand on her cheek, softly stroking it.

Sam's felt like her heart sinks 'No…'

Lunette formed a sweet smile… and both embraced into a hug. However, this wasn't a normal friendly hug. It was close to a romantic hug.

Sam felt like her heart broke in two when seeing them before an anger rose in her, making her grind her teeth 'That… that… that FUCKING… BITCH!' she cursed mentally before leaving while tears left her eyes.

Back with Danny and Lunette, both remained in embrace, not wanting to let go as how nice this felt.

Lunette gave a small moan.

Danny couldn't help but to smile. Then, figuring her hear was close to his face, he couldn't help but smelling her hair a bit, feeling how nice the scent smelled 'Hmm… Strawberries.' Danny mentally thought before he blushed red deep, figuring what he was doing.

After a minute, both slowly broke their little 'romantic' embrace, both staring into each other's eyes before looking away while blushing.

Knowing she can't force Danny to rejoin them bowling, she softly told him, "You just take it easy, okay? And… you can always talk to me whenever you need me."

Danny gave a small nod "I will…"

They still kept looking into each other's eyes, before Lunette asked with a small chuckle, "What?"

Danny shook his head with a nervous smile "Nothing."

"Sure?"

"Mm-hm."

They remained in awkward silence before Danny said, "I… uhh… see you later, I guess?"

Lunette held his hand, looking back at him "Yeah…" but as he was about to leave, she added, "Goodnight, Danny…" and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Immediately realizing what she did, she shockingly took a step back while covering her mouth, while Danny surprisingly looked back at her.

Danny couldn't believe what just happened. A girl had just… kissed him on the cheek.

Lunette blushed deeply red out of embarrassment, and left awkwardly while still covering her mouth, cursing herself in her mind 'Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that? Why did I do that?!'

Danny just watched her going before a dreamy smile formed on his face.

"Wow…" was all he could say.

A/N: Okay, I've decided to cut the oneshot into several parts as I was fearing this story was going to be too long as I have so many other ideas I wanted to add into it.
