KS: Ah, the notification function on the site is back in action. For how long, I have no earthly idea. But enough about how this site's quality continues to dip and and so forth. I have one hell of an premise here. I just got into Dynasty Warriors recently, and it was all kinds of awesome. In fact, it spawned its own subgenre of games that follow the formula with other games adopting it, Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem for example. Thus, I came up with the idea of a Warriors-style crossover where fighters from my personal favorite fandoms come together and fight off numerous threats from other dimensions. I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I'm proud to kickstart it. So without further ado, here is the very first chapter. Enjoy.

For as long as the worlds existed, there have been conflicts. While the inhabitants of their own worlds were capable of defending themselves from numerous threats, unknown events led to the worlds merging with each other. Soon enough, the conflicts not only began to merge, but escalate, creating untold chaos and destruction.

In response to these incidents, several groups and organizations have banded together to form a united fighting force dedicated to quelling the conflicts and keeping peace throughout the dimensions.

They are… the Multi-Dimensional Warriors.

A young, pink-haired woman looked at the sealed casket before her. Her blue eye widened with glee, as the other was covered with an eyepatch.

"What a lovely opportunity I have," she said in a sickingly sweet tone. "Once I release what's in this thing, I'll have access to all the power I want. Those miserable warriors may have stopped me before, but now nothing is going to prevent me from unveiling all kinds of despair in the world."

Behind her, several armored soldiers stare in silence as the woman cackled madly, looking all kinds of maniacal. This wasn't the first time she had broken into a fit like this, and they had more or less grown accustomed to her antics.

"I will release you yet," she said to the casket. "And once I do, nothing will stop me from releasing sweet despair upon this and many other worlds!"

No sooner had she said that, a loud rumbling was heard from outside. It got the soldiers' attention as they took up arms.

"You know what to do," she said. "Go out there and deal with whoever is foolish enough to impede on our progress."

The soldiers quickly exit the room without a word, leaving the woman alone.

"Can't a girl just plot in peace?"

The outside of the base was absolutely chaotic. Hordes upon hordes of soldiers stormed the field, weapons in hand prepared to deal with whoever was looking to interrupt their plans.

Sadly for them, the one who was interrupting them was far more capable than they could ever hope to imagine.

"Is that all? Come on, at least try to give me a decent fight!"

The individual had spiky white hair, eyes that were different colors (one green, one red), he wore a bright red jacket with numerous belts under a black shirt, black pants and steel-toed red boots. In his right hand was a rather large sword that he wielded with very little difficulty as he continued decimating the soldiers that dared stand in his way.

"At this rate, I'll be done in no time."

Ragna the Bloodedge

The Grim Reaper

Ragna looked at the next wave of soldiers that rushed towards him.

"Well, isn't that perfect," he said with a grin. "More pawns to be crushed."

As he rushed towards the soldiers, he heard a beep from his earpiece.

"Ragna, I see you're once again indulging in your more… feral instincts," a tired voice said from the earpiece.

"Feral? Couldn't you come up with something more creative?" the reaper said in a snarky tone.

"Considering you're decimating the opposition like a wild animal, I think it's the perfect word for you," the voice said. "Now, are you close to the base?"

Ragna looked at the ominous building in front of him, completely with dark clouds and crows circling around.

"Yeah, I'd say I'm close," he deadpanned. "And let me tell you, whoever set this place up clearly doesn't believe in subtlety."

"Save your critiques on the base for after we've taken it," the voice deadpanned. "Anyway, the reinforcements should arrive shortly."

"About time," Ragna remarked, cutting down another enemy. "I was starting to get bored being alone."

He ran towards the entrance, only for a large, armored gorilla-like monster to stand in his way. It let out a ground-shaking roar as it beats its chest repeatedly.

"Who let this guy out of the cage?" Ragna wondered. "Oh, well. Time to put it down."

Ragna prepared to face the monster, but before he could move, an arrow of light hit the beast on it's face, causing it to stagger.

"What the hell?"

"Thought you could use the assistance."

Ragna turned towards the speaker and was surprised to see a familiar face.

"Didn't think you would show up," he said.

Standing on a rock was a man with dark skin, white hair and grey eyes, wearing a red coat over a black shirt, also wearing matching pants and boots. In his hands was a large bow.

"Someone had to bail you out."

Emiya

Counter Guardian

"I had it covered, but I won't say no to some help," Ragna said.

"Very well," Emiya replied, readying another arrow. "I'll keep it occupied while you put it down."

Ragna raised his sword towards the monster. "Should we make a Harambe joke or is that dated?"

"It's been dated for quite some time," Emiya snarked, shooting an arrow at the beast's face. "No point digging it up from obscurity."

"Fair enough," Ragna conceded.

He charged towards the monster, dodging its fast strikes relentlessly. How a large creature could move so fast was beyond his imagination. Actually, it wasn't; this wasn't the first time it happened and it most likely won't be the last.

At the same time, Emiya kept it busy by shooting numerous arrows. While they made an impact, it did very little to pierce its armor.

"These light arrows aren't doing a thing to that armor," he muttered. "I'm not permitted to use the heavy stuff unless the situation demands it… and it's not demanding anything right now."

He continued firing at the monster, when someone rushed past him, leapt into the air towards the beast.

"What the…?"

The figure raised their fist as they descended towards the monster, and as they descended, they slammed their fist down on the monster's helmet, shattering it completely and leaving its head exposed. The monster was completely dazed from the attack.

"Now, Ragna!" they said in a cute voice.

While initially bewildered, Ragna took advantage and leapt up to the monster's head and cut it off, killing it instantly.

"Guess that's that," he said, looking at the assistant. "Nice of you to show up, Hibiki."

The girl landed beside Ragna, then giggled while scratching the back of her head. She had brown hair and yellow eyes, wore armor that slightly resembled a magical girl outfit that was yellow, white and orange in certain places, along with having headphone-like accessories.

"Glad I could help out."

Hibiki Tachibana

Wielder of Gungnir

Emiya soon joined the two.

"This is the place we have to bust into?" he asked while looking at the building.

"Yep," Ragna confirmed.

"Looks like a villain's hideout from those old shows about masked heroes and stuff," Hibiki said. "Probably have a lot of henchmen on standby."

"High time we made them stand down," Ragna added, walking towards the door and kicking it down. "Alright, time for us to go."

"Right," Emiya said with a nod.

"Let's go!" Hibiki cheered while pumping her fist into the air.

"Without me?" a voice said in a hard tone. "I think not."

Everyone flinched and they turned around, with Ragna immediately ducking when the remains of a monster was thrown at his head.

"What's your problem, Velvet?" he asked.

The woman, named Velvet scoffed at him while putting a hand on her hip. She had long black hair and striking yellow eyes. Her outfit was unique to say the least, composed a red corset that was ripped in the front, nearly exposing her chest, which also has an insignia visible below the belt which it hinders below. She wears a similar belt around her waist and above her torn, black jean trousers that resemble shorts with a chain hanging off it. She also had multiple belts wrapped around her right leg and a few which spiral towards the lower half of her left. Over her corset, she wears a black jacket in the form of a robe with red-velvet lacing; the jacket is ripped towards the bottom and is tightened towards her chest by the belt. She wears protective armour on her footwear as well as one extra armour plate on her right shin. She wears the same armour in the form of an arm protective gauntlet which rests above the same material as her coat; the material arches its way up to and wraps around her middle finger, highlighted by a rhombus-shaped piecing. Perhaps her most notable feature was her left arm, which was complete bandaged up.

"My problem is that you blockheads left me behind to deal with the damn horde of monsters in the forest," Velvet seethed. "Am I that expendable to you?"

Velvet Crowe

Lord of Calamity

Ragna sighed. "Velvet, we're at the hideout of whoever is squatting here. Can we settle the matter of whether or not we left you hung out to dry when this is all over?"

Velvet huffed as she walked towards the door. "Fine. Let's get this over with so that I can bust all of your chops sooner."

Emiya looked slightly concerned. "You have been going to therapy, right?"

"No," Velvet replied bluntly.

And with that, the group walks into the hideout, ready to take down the one responsible for the monsters.

The woman rapidly typed into a terminal, sweating profusely while doing so. The casket she was fawning over earlier was now hooked to a machine that was powering up the casket.

"They're already here," she muttered while slamming multiple keys with her fingers. "But they're way too late. Once I release the casket, I will become whole. No longer will I have to suffer this humiliation of being half a woman. When I unleash what lies with in, the world will finally will tremble and quiver with fear at the name-"

She was interrupted by the doors being blasted off their hinges. Walking through the doorway were Ragna, Emiya, Hibiki and Velvet.

"Junko Enoshima," Ragna said. "Only you could pull of something as hair-brained as this."

Junko grit her teeth in frustration. "Guess you finally arrived, then."

Junko Enoshima

Ex-Ultimate Despair

"But you're too late!" she cackled as the machine powered up the casket, causing it to glow. "I've cracked this sucker open, and now I will be born anew!"

"What lies in that thing is not meant for anyone, least of all a maniac like you," Velvet growled, unleashing her daemon claw.

"Tough luck, slut!" Junko shot back as the casket started to glow brighter and shake rapidly. "It's too late to stop me now!"

The casket glowed brighter than ever, then created a portal. Junko turned around and stared at it in awe.

"So beautiful…"

The group rushed in to stop her, but they trigger a hidden trap, causing them to be trapped in a stasis bubble.

"Dammit!" Ragna cursed. "So close!"

"And yet so far," Junko said in a mocking tone. "Now, bear witness as I come anew."

A figure walked out of the portal, looking similar to Junko, but with some key differences. For one thing, both of her eyes were intact. Also, she wore a military uniform that was slightly unbuttoned at the top, exposing her cleavage. Also, she carried a sword on her back and a pistol in her hand.

"Well, don't we look good," Junko said. "And who might you be, my other self?"

The other Junko grinned sweetly. "Oh, you know…"

Then aimed her pistol at Junko's head, much to her confusion.

"What the-"

And shot her point blank, killing her in an instant.

"Your replacement."

The group who was trapped stared at the other Junko in shock and confusion.

"W-What just happened?" Hibiki asked.

"I… I think Junko killed herself," Ragna answered, sounding just as unsure.

Emiya sighed. "The brass is going to have a field day with this one."

The Assault Team, composed of Ragna the Bloodedge, Velvet Crowe, Hibiki Tachibana and Emiya of the Counter Force, gave the following report: Junko Enoshima, the individual responsible for causing the Tragedy in her own universe, then fled to create chaos in several others, met her end in the hands of… well, herself. Specifically, a Junko from a much different universe. What this entailed would be the topic of an interesting discussion.

KS: Bet you didn't see that coming, did you? That little reveal near the end of was inspired by the introduction of "The Giant" From Black Ops 3. If you know, then you know. But anyway, this is just a taste of what is to come. I can't promise frequent updates, as I am trying to get my life in order, but I'll try to be constant. Anyway, I'm off. Be sure to fave, follow and review, and I'll see you when I see you. Peace.
