Sunset Shimmer's Heroic Deed
One day, a young girl in the other world had just woken up. "Hello," the girl said to no one. Well, she was actually narrating her thoughts.
"My name is Sunset Shimmer," the girl, who is Sunset Shimmer said, "And I've been living here in the human world for a long time now. I've really had a horrible start, for my own dark purposes. It started out back in Equestria. But today, things are different. I am no longer selfish. In case you've figured it out, I once lived in Equestria and I'm planning on going back there some day. But that's another story."
Right now, the girl, named Sunset Shimmer, prepared to start her day. After her routine morning activities, getting dressed and eating breakfast, Sunset Shimmer set out. "Okay," she said, "Where to start? Today is a lovely day." For a while, Sunset Shimmer enjoyed most of what the day had to offer her.
Then Sunset Shimmer noticed two similar looking men unpacking a set of gizmos. "I have a funny feeling about those two guys," Sunset Shimmer said to herself. She was right. Nonetheless, Sunset Shimmer decided to continued on her own way.
That is until Sunset Shimmer had come across a young couple. "Hello," she said, "Whom do we have here?" As Sunset Shimmer approached the couple, they've noticed her. "Hello," the man said. "Hi," Sunset Shimmer said in response. "Well, go ahead," the young girl said, "Who are you?"
"My name is Sunset Shimmer," Sunset Shimmer answered shyly. "No need to be shy," the girl said. "Well, one of my friends is shy," Sunset Shimmer said in response. "Well," the girl said, "My name is Glitter and this is my boyfriend, Dartmouth."
"Yes," the man said, "Glitter, it's all right." "Well, hello, Glitter and Dartmouth," Sunset Shimmer said, "Nice to meet you two." "And nice to meet you too," the girl, named Glitter said, "Sunset Shimmer."
"Thanks for talking to us," the man, named Dartmouth said in response. "Happy to meet you two, Dartmouth and Glitter," said Sunset Shimmer, "And this isn't really going anywhere, is it?" "Are you kidding?!" Glitter said, "We are going somewhere!" "Yes!" Dartmouth agreed. "Right," Sunset Shimmer said nervously.
Several hours later, Sunset Shimmer, Dartmouth and Glitter were now together. "You two are wonderful," Sunset Shimmer said. "Thanks," Glitter replied. "If only," Sunset Shimmer thought to herself, but said no more.
"What's going on?" Dartmouth asked, curious. "Nothing," Sunset Shimmer answered, changing the subject. However, Sunset Shimmer immediately noticed trouble, which involves the two men she saw earlier. "Uh oh," Sunset Shimmer said to herself, "I've heard about these two."
"Who?" Dartmouth asked. "Them," Sunset Shimmer said, pointing at two strange looking machines. "It's time to start selling, brother!" "Let me take a look," Sunset Shimmer said. "We're the Flim Flam brothers!" one of the men said, "We are traveling salesmen!"
"And inventors!" the other man said. "Oh brother," Sunset Shimmer groaned. "You know these two?" Dartmouth asked. "No," Sunset Shimmer answered, face palming, "My friend Applejack told me about them. From her experience with them."
"Oh, I see," Dartmouth said sympathetically. "Better keep an eye on them," Sunset Shimmer said. "If you say so," Glitter agreed. Some time later, the Flim Flam Brother's were trying out their weird machine, which is an apple themed flying machine. To be honest, this machine can't fly at all. "Ready to try it out brother?" Flim asked. "Yes, brother," Flam answered.
With multiple tries, they got their weird flying machine, well, flying through the air. "We've succeeded!" Flam said excitedly.
Sunset Shimmer was the first to notice the problem-loaded flying machine. And another one that looks like an apple-looking pump. "No," Sunset Shimmer said. And as she had predicted, one of the Flim Flam brother's inventions had gone berserk. It really couldn't fly at all.
"Uh oh," Flim said as the machine stalled and began to fall out of the sky. "Failure is the road to success?" Flim asked. The failed flying machine ended up crashing into a large building, blowing it up. Everyone was in shock. "Oops," Flam said.
"I knew this was going to happen!" Sunset Shimmer shouted. "The building is on fire!" Dartmouth shouted as flames consumed the building. "Call 911!" Glitter shouted and Dartmouth had done so. "No need to panic," Flam said, "We'll put the fire out. We knew this would happen anyway."
So, they had their apple-looking pump ready to, what they think will put out the fire. However, it only shoots apples. "I knew it was mistake to let those failures go!" Sunset Shimmer said. "No time!" Dartmouth said, "We have to get everyone out of that place!" "Right!" Glitter said.
The failed machine caused a lot of damage to the building. Not wasting any time, Sunset Shimmer, Dartmouth and Glitter charged into the building and got everyone out. "Don't worry, they said," we'll get you out.
They got almost everyone out of the building just in time. But then, Glitter noticed one terrified little boy hiding in the corner. "Don't worry," Glitter said, "It'll be okay." The boy was convinced, and then another explosion tore the building apart, Dartmouth immediately saved the boy's life.
"There you go," he said in a comforting tone. "Okay," Sunset Shimmer said, "I managed to keep the fire from getting out of control."
"Right," Glitter said, "Let's get the heck out of here!" and they immediately got out of the building just as the firefighters arrived to put out the fire. "Now things are right," Dartmouth said. "We got to get everyone out of here!" Glitter said. Also, Sunset Shimmer protected the Flim Flam brothers from multiple explosions.
"We got everyone out of there," Dartmouth said. "Right," Sunset Shimmer said. The firefighter chief thanked the three for their actions and they found out who was responsible for the fire in the first place. "Those inventions of theirs causes nothing but problems!" one guy said. "Yeah!" another person agreed.
"Well," Flam said, "It was a bug in the program?" Then Flim and Flam realized what kind of situation they are in. A crowd of angry people surrounded the failed inventors. Flim and Flam are ashamed of themselves. Actually, not 100%.
"Uh, we'd better go," Flam said. "Right," Flim agreed and both men had ran away. "Make sure you grow brains before you come back!" Dartmouth called out to the two, "You know that you two a nothing but failures."
"Uh, let's not treat them like stupid Mountain Moron," Sunset Shimmer said, "They are way more intelligent than him, I'm sorry to say." "You're right about that," Dartmouth said.
Soon enough, Dartmouth returned the little boy to his mother, unhurt. "But now everything is calm," Glitter said. Everyone thanked the three friends. "Thanks," Glitter said. "No problem," said Sunset Shimmer, "Happy to help others. And no more of my past."
"Whatever you say," Dartmouth said, "But today, you've proven that." "Yes," Sunset Shimmer replied. And everyone lived in peace. "Sunset Shimmer," Glitter said, "Thank you for today." "I'm happy to do so," Sunset Shimmer smiled, "And hopefully one day."
