The G❇rl from Remnant and The L ️st King of Lucis | Episode 2
Previously: Ruby was scheduled for detention again for sleeping in Professor Port's class because she's been sleeping late to help find her missing classmates. Weiss was worried as well and offered to help in one condition; Ruby redeems herself to Professor Port. Meanwhile, Luna was worried of her missing dog, Pyrna, when she was visited by soldiers sent by Niflheim's King to escort her to the place they believe the Starscourge had begun.
Now...
This will be a crossover fanfiction of RWBY and FFXV. It'll be an AU type but somehow the same(?). Well nothing else to say, let's start!
The G❇rl from Remnant and The L ️st King of LucisThe Prince from Eos
Eos- a vast land with kingdoms reigned by monarchs- a land vulnerable to the Scourge.
"Scourge is an illness brought by the dark creatures called Grimm. They can be hazardous to humans if their claws or fangs touch you." Noctis recited to his teacher.
Ignis was walking back and forth, his head held high and both hands behind his back. "And what happens if you directly touch their bodies?" he asked.
"Nothing. You'll feel their aura but that's about it."
Slightly nodding, Ignis continued to ask. "And how is a person cured from the Scourge?"
"Only Luna has the ability to cure anyone infected by the Scourge. By far no other human being can do that."
Noctis waited for Ignis' next question. He was sitting down the log, facing Ignis who continued to walk back and forth while asking questions. They were in the forest, camping, not because they're on a trip, but because they're on a mission.
The two were waiting for Prompto and Gladiolus (did I spell that right?) to return.
"And what of the other land? Remnant?" Ignis brought up. He noticed the prince flinched at the question but was able to hide it quickly.
"Remnant..." the prince stalled as he gathered what he could remember about it. "...is fascinating."
"Indeed."
Ignis would've pressed further but seems like Noctis was saved by Prompto and Gladio. The two arrived in the nick of time, carrying packs of ingredients for Ignis to use in his cooking.
"Good news Noct! We're not having noodles today!" Prompto gleefully announced.
Noctis secretly grinned at his double victory but Ignis remained serious. "Prompto, while I prepare today's lunch, I'd like you to help with Noctis' studies."
Hearing that, the blonde one groaned in frustration and Gladio laughing at them.
"Getting pumped up for a class today, Iggy?" the tall man said.
"But we're on a mission! Noct is supposed to focus on his mission!" Prompto attempted to reason but they both know Ignis isn't someone to be reasoned with.
"Yes, a mission to go to Galahad and meet possible Glaives for your father's roundtable." Ignis reminded them. "But it's been almost a week since we began our travel and we kept doing unnecessary stops and now we're lost. The least we can do is educate Noctis while we're on a roundabout."
When reality was slapped across their faces, they kept quiet. Ignis didn't want it to sound that way but that was the truth.
"Alright. Come on Noct." Prompto finally agrees. Noctis handed the book to Prompto and the two left, leaving Gladio and Ignis alone.
"What did you find?" Gladio asked, knowing something was up.
"I found a notebook earlier, one belonging to the oracle. We are given information regarding possible ways to cure the Scourge."
Gladio's brows furrowed. "The Lady Lunafreya knows something about another cure already?"
"Apparently, she's worried of Noctis. But what am worried of is where the dog is." Ignis expounds. "I doubt it's Umbra."
"It's possible it was attacked then?" Gladio tried to guess.
The two then saw a bright light nearby. The light suddenly flashed from the sky, almost like a falling star.
Noctis and Prompto saw it too of course. They rushed back to Gladio and Ignis to tell them about the odd light.
"Did you see that?!"
"We should check it out right?"
They all turned to Iggy who knew it was a call he had to make.
"Let's go."
Emerald Forest, Weiss and Ruby along with Yang, were walking in search for any leads where their classmates might've been.
"You know when you said you were going to gather a 'team', I was hoping to... you know... see a- a bigger team." Ruby said while following Weiss' lead, and Yang behind her.
"Isn't your team already having a blast since Yang is on your team and Yang is. On. Fire!"
"Not now Yang." the two besties said and Yang raised both her hands in surrender.
"Geez, relax. I'm just trying to give a Yang-tastic advice!"
"Yang!" the two once again said in unison and this time Yang did her best to restrain her jokes.
When there was enough silence, Weiss decided to speak. "Look what is your point? Are you saying you wanted the whole class with us?"
"N...o not really. But I just-"
"Okay let's just not talk about it!"
When the two seemed to have made up, Yang beamed at them as she followed their lead.
She wanted to say another comment about it, she's been forming another joke in mind, but then the two besties stopped on their heels to turn to Yang. "No Yang." the two told her and Yang pouted.
"You two are such... Yanglings." she muttered the last word and followed them quietly.
They started their travel since this morning. They wanted to search for any signs of why Jaune and Pyrrha would disappear like that. Not even Beacon's huntsmen can find a trace.
Their mission was to observe Emerald Forest for Grimm activity for a week. They can kill a Grimm but not a pack, they'd surely lose. For that kind of mission it's a first to have anyone disappear. It would be understandable if they were infiltrating enemy territory.
As the three got far, they find footsteps nearby.
"I think I found something!" Ruby says. "Follow me!"
Leading the way, the two ran after the young Rose.
And they were surprised to find four men in black lying down on each other on the ground. All four were groaning in pain, seems that they just woke up.
Ruby backed off in a flash when she realized these were foreigners.
"Whoa Ruby... Careful."
As the four men regained consciousness and pushed each other off themselves, one of them looked up and locked eyes with Ruby's.
Ruby found it awkward and flinched when she realized she was looking directly at a man's eyes!
"U- uhm hi..." she tried to say something.
"Where are we? Who are you people?" the man replied. Ruby was flustered that she's talking to a foreigner and wanted to call for backup but seems that Yang was only grinning at the men before her.
"I- I'm Ruby. This is Weiss and Yang. We were searching for our missing classmates here at Emerald Forest." Ruby managed to say.
"Emerald Forest?" the man repeated in confusion.
"Just outside Beacon Academy."
"Beacon?"
"Wow that sounds delicious." the blonde one behind him mumbled. And the man with glasses smacked the blonde awake.
"'Beacon' sounds familiar." the man in front of Ruby said. "It's almost as if... The one I read in books."
"Like History books?" Ruby wanted to clarify.
"Something like that."
The man with glasses got up his feet and approached the three ladies. He kept enough distance to give them personal space. "Pardon me for asking ladies, but I'd like to confirm if we are in continent of Remnant."
"Yes." Weiss replied.
The four men were in shock to hear it. Ruby and her friends knew they were foreigners already but from where exactly?
"A- are you from Eos perhaps?" Ruby asked them in return.
"Yes." the one who spoke to Ruby earlier said. "My name is Noctis Lucis Caelum. Heir to the throne.
