Mystic Falls High School

Iris swore Caroline was trying to kill her with all the activities she had going on. Agreeing to help Care set up a car wash should not have been this extensive. Guess that's what having a control freak for a bestie meant. Iris of course thought this all with a love for Care.

"So we are going for the sexy car wash, that means two pieces girls" Care tells the girls as they walk down the hallway after class. "I made sure everyone knew this was the rule, we have to get the money in and this is one of our biggest fundraisers."

Iris snorted at Caroline, she was like a drill Seargent. Thank goodness Iris had already had it all explained to her, Care had made her go shopping to get cute bathing suits just for the car wash. Of course her uncles thought it was hilarious that she was being roped into another activity by Caroline.

Who would have thought this many people would come and have high school girls in bikinis wash their car. Of course Siri and Remy wanted to help contribute to the cause, more like Care told them they had to bring their vehicles to get washed, neither man had the heart to tell her no. Iris honestly thought they were just as scared of her as she was. You didn't tell someone like Caroline Forbes no when she was on a mission.

"Hey, I'm going to grab some more towels" one of the cheerleaders told Caroline. Of course she marked this off on her clip board. Have to keep track of everyone.

Iris noticed Stefan was washing cars with the rest of the football team. Iris didn't see Elena anywhere but Bonnie was also washing cars. Getting back to her own car, Iris didn't notice the old man that Elena was talking to. Iris didn't really pay attention to anything around her until she ran out of dry towels.

"Care, did Katie come back with the towels yet?" Iris asked,

Care looked down at her clip board, "I don't have her marked as coming back" I guess I'll go get them myself."

Iris continued onto the next car, they were almost finished for the day luckily. Iris's arms were killing her. Out of nowhere the pavement catches fire. That's not possible, there was only water and soap on the ground!

Iris looks around to try and find the cause when she catches sight or Bonnie, she looks like she's in a daze. Stefan walks up to her, getting her attention, the fire stops just as suddenly as it started. Neither of them notices that Iris had seen the whole thing.

Iris headed home after the carwash and wanted to tell Siri and Remy what she had seen. She seen Remy's car in the driveway and thought maybe Siri's bike was in the garage. What Iris didn't see was the shadow that was hiding behind the trees.

Getting out of her car, Iris headed towards the front door. She didn't notice the figure rushing her at her in the dark. Two hands grab her and spin her around, pinning her arms to her sides.

"Now see, my brother made a mistake when he locked me up and took my ring. Luckily for me I can still go out at night" Damon smirks at Iris "and look, its night."

Iris just stared at him coldly. She didn't want to scream and bring Remy or Sirius out, god forbid Dobby was the one to come out. "What do you want asshole" she asked Damon.

"I think I should leave your little friend Caroline and my brother a message" Damon tells her. Without saying another word he snaps Iris's neck.

Dobby had heard Iris pull into the driveway. She shouldn't be taking this long to walk in, Mr. Wolf and her Dogfather had went for a ride on the motorcycle so it was just Dobby and Hedwig at the house.

Dobby only waited a few more minutes before he opened the front door. The porch light was on but he didn't see anyone on the porch. Walking to the edge of the porch and looking at the steps, that's where he seen her.

Iris had been left at the foot of the steps, laying at an awkward angle, Dobby knew something wasn't right. Going down the steps he finally noticed her neck. Dobby let out an anguished cry and grabbed Iris's body by the hand.

Popping her into the house, Dobby set her on the couch and covered her with a blanket. She looked like she was sleeping. Now Dobby had to wait for her uncles to get home.

It only took fifteen minutes for Dobby to hear the bike pull up. Then the steps on the porch. The front door opened then. Remus and Sirius walked into the living room upon a scene they never wanted to see.
