It was around 9PM and the sun was setting, meaning it was starting to get dark. Lynn Sr and Rita were outside on the porch where their kids showed up.
"Mom, dad we have something to show you what we found in the attic." Lori stated.
"What did you kids find?" Rita asked.
"We found clothes, maps, books and even some old toys." Lana replied.
"Luan found this map, it is a real treasure map because it has an X on it." Lori added, showing the map to Rita and Lynn Sr.
"This map looks like it was made in the early 90s." Lynn Sr commented.
"That's because it was made in the early 90s." Lori answered.
"And we all want to find this real treasure, if it's ok with you and mom." Lincoln said.
"I don't see why you kids can't, this map looks like it's close to the trails we take while on a trail ride." Lynn Sr replied.
"That's because we recognized the trails we take while on trail rides. So it isn't far off of the path we take, so it'll be fun finding this treasure." Luan said.
"You kids can find the treasure, but you'll have to be prepared for this." Rita added as she headed inside the house.
"Your mom's right, kids, it's time for bed so let's head inside." Lynn Sr stated as some of the Loud kids went inside the farmhouse with their parents.
However, Lynn Jr was looking at the stars from the front porch of the farmhouse. Lori saw her and approached her, while resting a hand on her shoulder.
"Are you coming inside Lynn?" Lori asked.
"I am, I am just wishing on the star." Lynn replied.
"What did you wish for?" Lori asked.
"Can't tell you, or it won't come true." Lynn answered. "By the way, I am hoping we find this real treasure. Do you think we may find jewelry or something?"
"I wouldn't be surprised if we find that while on this treasure hunt Lynn, but you never know what we'll find." Lori stated as she and Lynn both headed inside the house together.
The next day the Louds were back in Royal Woods in town, they were looking through photo albums of when their parents were younger in those days.
"You were really young then mom." Leni commented while looking through photos.
"Your father and I were in our teens that year, however we sure have changed quite a bit over the years." Rita said as the phone rang, she answered the phone. "Hello? Yes honey we were just talking about you."
What Lynn Sr on the phone said to Rita wasn't good news, and the older Loud kids could tell.
"My dad fell? Is he ok? Yes, we'll be at the hospital." Rita said as she got off of the phone, once she did that she looked at her kids. "That was dad kids, your Pop Pop is ill. We need to meet him in the hospital, so everyone gets into Vanzilla." Rita instructed as the Loud kids all got in Vanzilla with Rita and they drove to the Royal Woods hospital.
When the Louds got to the hospital, Lynn Sr met up with Rita and their kids in the waiting room.
"You kids wait here." Rita said to her kids as she followed Lynn Sr into a room where Pop Pop was staying.
"I was driving home from work when I stopped to see Pop Pop, I found him in his room. He must've fallen and hit his head, so he's not doing good." Lynn Sr said to Rita, the Loud kids all eavesdropped on what their parents were saying.
"How is he?" Rita asked the doctor.
"He has a few bumps and a bruise on him, but nothing explains the high fever he has." The Doctor said to Rita.
"How long does he have?" Rita asked the doctor again.
"At Pop Pop's age, we may only have a few days." The Doctor replied as he walked out of the room, followed by Rita and Lynn Sr.
"May we all see Pop Pop?" Lincoln asked his mother.
"Alright kids, you can see him but not for long as he needs to rest." Rita answered as the Loud kids all headed inside Pop Pop's room to see him asleep on the bed.
"Pop Pop, we're all here to see you." Lori said to him as Pop Pop was mumbling something in his sleep.
"Pop Pop's trying to say something." Lincoln stated.
"My time capsule…" Pop Pop said in his sleep.
"He said about his time capsule, do you think the map to this treasure may be his time capsule?" Lynn Jr asked as she looked at the treasure map.
"This must be it, it is signed by Pop Pop." Lori replied, seeing her grandfather's signature on the bottom right of the map.
"So we will have to go there and get the treasure." Lynn said.
"Maybe that will make him feel better, he would wanna see it." Leni added.
"Alright, let's find this treasure." Lori smiled as she and the rest of her siblings all hugged her and Pop Pop, this was gonna be an adventure for them.
