Marinette looked at Cat, knowing something was not quite right. He had a look that went beyond derpy. Maybe to much catnip? But yet, her Cat was staring off at nothing and drooling so….

Oh, sugar and cookies, she needed to help Cat, let alone Paris needed him! Time to call Animal Control. She dialed the number as Cat gave a weird sounding trill.

"Hi, my Cat is acting strange, not his usual cookie stealing, meowing at bubbles type self." she listened for a moment as the officer asked if this was a joke. "Its a not joke! Its Cat Noir!" she seethed. Okay, okay, calm down. No need to go Angry Bugaboo, for one feral cat was bad enough.

Then Cat gave the loudest meow she had ever heard. Great. He had gone crossed-eyed now. Oh, Kitty. He kept pulling the strangest faces that went beyond saying a paw-ful pun… "yes, he seems to be in another world," she described, staring at Cat who was now waving his arms.

Just then, Cat's face seemed to go back to normal, and she breathed a silent sigh of relief. That is until a bird flew by. "I think he's calm now," Marinette wanted to take back her words a moment later.

Cat's eyes followed the bird as it landed on the balcony to preen under its wing. Uh-oh, this Cat and a bird did not mix. "Cat, don't you think about it," she warned, as a gleam appeared in his green eyes. "Don't you dare!"

But Cat didn't seem to hear her in his state of mind and with a meow he launched himself at the unexpected feathered creature.

"Cat Noir! Remember your allergies! Right, I'll call you back!" Marinette suddenly remembered she was still on the phone. She hung up, groaning. "Spots On!"

Cat wouldn't remember this, and today inside of saving Paris from a nasty baddie, she needed to save Cat Noir!
