A Few notes for this chapter: I don't know who all is still reading this story, but I hope the ones that are still reading the story are still enjoying this. I'm sorry I haven't gotten this one up sooner; a few things came up after I had originally started to write this chapter.

Yawning Gemma is so sleepy now between the love making they did and the pregnancy she can't even keep her eyes open anymore, Nero too is getting sleepy, it's been a long day for them Gemma turns over on her side as Nero comes behind her putting his arms around her as they both fall asleep in a peaceful slumber.
Chapter 5: Finally Letting Them Know
Two Months Later: May 12th, early morning 7am:
Gemma is working at T.M. when her phone rings she looks at the caller ID it says Wendy clearing her throat she answers on the 2nd ring "Hello?" Gemma says tiredly. Wendy says back "Hey Gemma, how are you feeling?" Gemma yawns "tired" Wendy chuckled "the joys of pregnancy huh?" Gemma groans "don't remind me, what do you want?" Gemma asked as she goes over to couch plopping down on it. "Well I just wanted to check on you, see how the baby is and all that" Gemma rubs her eyes "the baby's fine, I'm fine just tired" Gemma adds "I didn't really get any sleep last night neither did Nero so he's probably tired himself" Wendy is sympathetic "aw I'm sorry Gem" Wendy announces "well I better let you go, I'm glad you're okay and so is the baby" Gemma answers sleepily "Thanks" Wendy then clicks off the call as Gemma closes her eyes trying not to fall asleep, but fails miserably just then a loud noise startled her awake, she moans softly "what the hell was that?" She gets up off the couch going to see where the noise came from, walking into the clubhouse she asks the boys what that noise was that when Bobby spoke up "Oh sorry Gem, I dropped something" Gemma shakes the sleep away from her body "Well next time be careful, Jesus Christ you almost gave me a heart attack" Bobby nodded at her, she then goes back to the office it's then that it dawns on her that she hasn't told the guys about her pregnancy yet, but at that moment decides she has to tell them soon.
A few hours later Gemma's still at T.M. finishing up the last of her paperwork when she begins feeling nauseous "Oh damn not now" Gemma's praying she doesn't throw up that's what she doesn't need right now because the guys will start asking questions which she's not ready for yet. Taking deep breaths trying to calm her nausea down which works for a little bit, but then moving to try and get some water doesn't she grabs the garbage can quickly as the bile rises in her throat then she starts throwing up.
After a few minutes she whispers to herself "oh god" still having her head in the can, breathing heavily. Just then Gemma felt a hand on her shoulder startled she looks up to see Tig beside her "Christ, Tig what the hell you are doing?" Gemma groans as Tig asks "Are you okay, Gem?" Gemma nods clearing her throat, She tries to get up from the floor, but dizziness overcomes as her body starts to collapse Tig catches her leading her over to the couch to sit down. Tig quickly gets Gemma some water from the water jug he hands her the water as he sits down next to her "Gem, what's going on?" Gemma takes a sip of her water then says "nothing" Tig doesn't believe this, but he knows Gemma won't talk unless she wants to.
Tig lets it go for now because looking at the older woman she looks miserable. After a few seconds Tig gets up and leaves without another word. Alone Gemma leans back on the couch continuing to sipping her water to settle her stomach. Moments later Gemma's phone rings making her jump she looks down at the caller ID which says Nero Gemma smiles she presses the accept button putting the phone up to her ear "Hey baby" Gemma says tiredly. Nero replies "Hey Mama, how are you feelin?'" Gemma yawns as Nero chuckles "hmm guess that answer my question" Gemma lightly chuckles saying "oh shut up" Gemma suddenly remembers she needs to take her heart medicine and her vitamins grabbing her purse, she opens up both bottles setting them onto the desk first taking her heart medication popping the pill in her mouth, taking a sip of her lemonade she had gotten earlier swallowing it, groaning as the bitter taste of the pill makes it's down her throat, "ugh" she says to herself as she puts her hand on her stomach, then she takes the vitamins out of the bottle and swallowing them and taking a drink to wash them down.
Gemma gets up from the couch slowly and sit down in her chair to try and start on the paperwork that needed to be done. After a moments of silence Nero asks "How's our baby?" Gemma looks down at her stomach smiling "it's fine, but this morning sickness is making me feel like shit" Hearing this Nero says "Aw baby, I'm sorry when we get home tonight why don't I give you a massage?" He suggests "mmm that sounds great, babe that'll make me feel better, I definitely need one" Gemma replies as she gets her purse looking for some crackers she finds some and starts to eat them. Gemma adds "I miss you so much" Nero smiles on the other end "I miss you too, Mama" Gemma smiles at the nickname Nero coined for her she loves when he calls her that.
Gemma continues to munch on the crackers "Nero, I still have to tell the guys about my pregnancy they are going to start to notice" Nero replies "Yeah I know" Gemma speaks again "I think Tig is starting to notice something because he came into to see if I was okay a few minutes ago while I was throwing up I told him I was fine, but I know he didn't believe me" Nero replies "Not surprised, but it's Tig you know" Gemma sighs "what time are you gonna be done at Diosa?" Nero looks at his watch "probably til about 6, why?" Gemma replies "Just curious, I was wondering if you could swing by to pick me up when you're done?" Nero sits down at the counter "Sure babe" Gemma smiles "Thanks, I can't wait to see you" Nero smiles "I can't wait to see you either, Mama"
Exhaling sharply, Gemma after a few moments of silence speaks "Well baby, I'm gonna let you go because I gotta get this paperwork done and I'm sure you have things to do" Nero replies "Well yeah I do, but I'd rather talk to you" Gemma smirks "So would I..I love you" Nero replies "I love you, too see you tonight" Gemma waits until the other end is silence before she hung up the phone.
4pm:
After a few hours Gemma's paperwork is finally done. All the sudden Gemma gets tired so she goes over to the couch and lays down in her office within a few seconds she falls asleep. Two hours later it's 6 pm. Nero pulls up outside the parking lot of T.M. he turns off the engine, gets out of the car and walks to the office once inside his eyes look around the room, falling on Gemma whose still sound asleep on the couch. He smiles walking over to her bending down, stroking her face, kissing her on her forehead "Hey Mama, wake up I'm here" Gemma stirred opening her eyes slowly staring into Nero's soft brown eyes "Hey" he helped Gemma up from the couch putting his arms around her waist "Are you ready to go home?" He asks "Yep" that said the couple heads to the car together.
A few minutes later Gemma and Nero arrive home Lucius's caregiver Kayla is still there as they walk inside, Gemma goes into her room putting her purse and keys in there while Nero stays in the kitchen cooking some dinner for both of them although something bland for Gemma since he knows she's been having horrible morning sickness lately. Gemma checks in on Lucius whose in his room with Kayla whose reading him a book she smiles at them as she walks into the room sitting on the bed "How was he today?" Gemma asks Kayla curiously "He was great as usual" Gemma asks "Did he already eat?" Kayla nods "Yeah so you don't have give him any dinner" Gemma nods "Okay, I'll let Nero know" Kayla finishes up Lucius's story, Gemma pays her for her time and Kayla leaves.
Nero is still in the kitchen cooking when Gemma comes into the room putting her hands around his waist leaning into him "Hey baby" she says "Hey, I'm cooking you some bland food while my food is gonna be spicy" Gemma smiles "Thanks you're so sweet, by the way you don't need to make anything for Lucius I talked with Kayla and she said he already ate" Nero nods "okay thanks for letting me know" Moments later, the food is finally done Nero had cooked Gemma chicken and rice and for himself Spanish rice, Gemma gets the plates and silverware from the cabinet putting them on the table then set two cups down filling hers with milk, then Gemma turns to look at Nero asking "Baby, what you want to drink?" Nero thought about it for a bit "I'll just have some milk" Gemma says "okay" Gemma fills Nero's cup with milk then puts it back in the fridge.
Sitting down in the chair, Gemma waits for Nero to give her the food he had cooked for her, she's hoping she can keep it down. Nero puts down the plate with Gemma's chicken and rice on it in front of her, then gets his food putting it on his plate and carries it back to the table, sitting down across from Gemma whose already started to eat a little, she's groans "ugh I don't think our baby likes me" Nero glances at her with a strange look on his face "Why do you say that?" He asks curiously taking a sip of his milk. Clearing her throat taking another small bite of her rice "because I still am feeling sick even with eating the blandest food" Nero takes Gemma's hand kissing it "Aw, Mama it's not that, she still loves you making you sick is just apart of it all" Gemma speaks, stopping mid-sentence realizing what Nero has just said "I know, but...she" Nero looks at her "just a feeling I have" Gemma smiles "Oh...okay" After a few moments Gemma announces "I'm done I can't eat anymore, just looking at this food is making me sick" Gemma hands Nero her plate he scrapes off the leftover food putting it in the dishwasher, he gets his plate and puts into the dishwasher. Gemma rises from her chair, yawning "Hey pimp daddy" She calls to him "how about giving me that massage you promised?" Nero replies with his back turned to her "Sure, baby I'll be right there" Without another word Gemma retreats to her bedroom to wait for Nero.
After cleaning the kitchen, Nero goes to the bathroom and gets the massage oil and comes back to Gemma whose knitting she looks up at him "What?" She asks curiously "What are you making?" He asks putting down the massage oil on the nightstand. "I thought I'd make the baby a blanket" She says. Nero replies "Oh, but we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet" Gemma kisses him "I know, but I'm going to make it both colors pink & blue" Nero nods in understanding "Okay I can't wait to see when it's done"
Nero picks the massage oil back up from the table as Gemma puts down her knitting and the needle on the side of the bed, she starts to get undressed, within seconds she's totally naked in front of him, she turns over into her stomach as Nero puts some oil in his hands rubbing it on her back, Gemma moans in contentment, she lays her head down closing her eyes as the tightness in her muscles fade away. Nero continues to rub the oil on her body, after a few minutes, Nero speaks softly "babe turn over" Gemma complies turning over on her back Nero places the oil into his hands once again rubbing it over including her breasts, arms, gently going lower to her stomach, Gemma giggles "ah! That tickles" Nero then moves down to her thighs, legs and feet as Gemma closes her eyes enjoying the feeling on her feet and her body as Nero moves up her body once more with the oil.
A Few Weeks Later: May 21st 3pm:
Gemma is on her phone making another appointment with her O.B. Dr. Shyer. After making the appointment she calls Nero to let him know about it meanwhile Nero is doing paperwork at Diosa when his phone rings seeing it's Gemma calling he answers "Hey Mama" Gemma replies back "Hey, I just make another appointment with Dr. Shyer for the 22nd at 1pm I just wanted to let you know" Nero replies "Okay thanks for letting me know" Gemma clears her throat, doing paperwork of her own, when her phone beeps she sees she has another call it's Wendy I wonder what she wants now "Hey baby, I've gotta go I've gotta another call" Nero replies "Okay see ya later then I love you" Gemma smiles at her end "I love you too, see you later" Gemma clicks off with Nero then clicks the phone with Wendy "Hey sweetheart, what's going on?" "Is something wrong?" Gemma barges Wendy with her usual questions. "Hey Gemma nothing much is going on and nothing's wrong I just wanted to ask you if you would watch Abel later on" Gemma always loves watching her grand baby "Sure I can, no problem, but I'm at T.M. right now working" Wendy smiles "no problem I'll drop Abel off there" Wendy changes the subject "so how's your pregnancy going?" Gemma replies "Fine although the morning sickness is killing me" Wendy chuckles "I'm sorry, Gem" Gemma replies "it's been so long since I've been pregnant I guess it kinda threw me off" Taking a breath Gemma continues speaking "I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow"
Wendy in the kitchen making herself lunch "well I hope the appointment goes well" Gemma agrees "Me too, I don't want to lose this baby" Hearing this Wendy smiles sadly at the other end "I know you don't" Gemma puts her hand to her stomach "I already love the baby" Wendy's silent for a bit "Wendy?" Gemma says into the phone "I'm still here" Gemma swallows "Well I've gotta to get this paperwork done here, I'll see you later when you bring Abel" Wendy answers back "Yeah right I'll you then, thanks Gemma" Gemma clicks off her phone throwing it on the desk.
It's now 7pm paperwork has been done for sometime now, Gemma is still at T.M. as she's waiting for Wendy to arrive with Abel her stomach rumbles, she chuckles softly to herself saying "Okay, baby I know you're hungry so is mommy" She gets up going into the garage to see if any of the boys are around, she spots Opie working on a customer's car she goes over to him "Hey Opie, darlin' can you do me a favor can you go on a food run for me I need something to eat I'd go myself, but I'm waiting on Wendy to bring Abel for me to watch, she got some errands to run"
Opie stops what he's doing and looks at her "sure what do you want?" Thinking for a few seconds she answers "a salad and some water" she gives him money to cover the food and drink "here you go" taking the money from her "I'll be back" Gemma nods walking to door frame leaning against it watching Opie as he leaves. Gemma stands in the doorway a few more moments before heading back into the office, sitting on the couch she pulls out her knitting needle and starts to knit more on the baby blanket she was making earlier just then she hears voices glancing outside the window where she spots Wendy holding into the baby carrier with Abel inside.
Gemma gets up from the couch to meet Wendy and Abel. Gemma kisses Wendy on her cheek as she smiles brightly. Gemma takes Abel's carrier from her daughter in law, the two women walk together to the office. Gemma sets Abel down on the couch as Wendy puts his diaper bag onto the couch. Glancing down at her watch Gemma wonders where Opie is with her food, she and the baby are starving as if reading her mind she spots him finally coming to the office with her food she walks out to get it from it him "Thanks, baby" Opie nods giving her the change then leaves.
Gemma returns to the office setting her food and drink on the table, Wendy is sitting down on the couch next to her son. Wendy breaks the silence in the room "Thanks, Gemma for watching Abel he loves you even though he's just a baby" Gemma smiled at her "I enjoy it too, he is my only grandchild...for now" Gemma hinted smiling at the blonde, Wendy changes the subject "I'll be back later on I don't know when though, but I'll call to check in oh I put a bottle, some extra diapers and wipes in Abel's bag for you just in case" Gemma nodded "okay" Wendy thanks Gemma again, kisses Abel goodbye as she heads for the door she turns saying "Be good for Grandma, Abel" Wendy leaves.
Gemma sits down at the desk opens up her salad, staring at it she takes a deep breath thinking I hope I can keep this down she starts to eat it slowly while at the same time keeping a close eye on the kids. After a few moments Abel starts crying, Gemma gets up from her chair goes over to the couch, opening up the diaper bag looking inside she finds what she's looking for, the baby bottle taking Abel out of his carrier she sat him on her lap as she grabs the bottle sticking it into his mouth "Here you go, sweetheart" he stops crying and starts drinking right away. She strokes his little cheek while smiling down at him.
After drinking half of the bottle Gemma takes it out of Abel's mouth, grabbing a burp cloth from his bag putting it over her shoulder, she then puts him over her shoulder patting his back gently "Come on, baby you gotta give grandma a burp" Gemma pats his back a bit more just then he let out a burp along with some spit up to which Gemma sat him on her lap and wipes his mouth with the cloth. Gemma grabs the bottle putting it back in Abel's mouth again "Do you want more, sweetie?" She asks looking at him, he coos at her, but doesn't drink anymore of the milk so Gemma puts him back into his carrier strapping him in.
Gemma turns back to her salad to finish eating it, she's finished with it after a half hour, she gets up throwing away the empty container in the garbage can while continuing to hold Abel in her arms.
10pm:
A few hours later it's nighttime, Gemma is reading to Abel who is on the couch in his carrier when her phone rings, she looks at caller ID Wendy "Hey, baby" she says putting the book down onto her lap. "Hey Gemma, I just wanted to check in and see how Abel is" Gemma says "He's fine, sitting to me in his carrier on the couch I was reading him a story" Wendy smiles hearing that "That's great, Gemma I'm so glad he's doing fine, I'll be there in an hour to pick him up I'm almost done with my errands" Gemma nods "Okay he'll be happy to see you" Wendy says back "See you, then" Gemma says agreeing "See you soon" Gemma then clicks off her phone putting her phone back onto the desk Gemma continues to read Abel his story.
Within a few more minutes Gemma notices Abel is asleep, she smiles closing the book.
An hour later Wendy arrives at T.M. getting out of her car she goes into the office and Gemma is asleep on one end of the couch while Abel is asleep in his carrier at the other end.
Wendy bends down gently shaking Gemma "Gem" she calls out quietly.
"Hmm?" she answered groggily
"It's Wendy" she announced
"Oh" her eyes open sitting up on the couch
"I'm sorry, I must have fallen asleep" she says
"It's okay" the blonde said
Wendy grabbed Abel's carrier in her other hand and the diaper bag putting it on her shoulder. The two women get out to the car, Gemma puts Abel into his car seat strapping him in while Wendy walks around to where Gemma is she hugs her goodbye, kissing her on the cheek, Gemma hugs the other woman back then backs up to the side as Wendy starts up her car pulling out of T.M. Gemma waves to Wendy, Gemma tiredly walks back to the office to call Nero asking him to pick her up. He says he will as soon as Kayla gets to the house to watch Lucius, Gemma says okay she'll be there waiting for him.
A half hour later Nero appears at T.M. to pick up Gemma, she looks up at him and smiles "Hey Mama, you look so tired" Nero walks to the couch to sit beside her putting his arm around her, Gemma nods her head, rubbing her eyes "I'm exhausted, Wendy woke me up when she arrived to get Abel" Nero caresses her face "I'm sorry, baby come on let's get you home to bed, you need your sleep so does our baby" Gemma chuckles. Nero helps Gemma from the couch, Gemma is so tired she can't even walk right that's when Nero knows that he has to drive them back to the house.
The couple walks out to the car together, Nero opens the passenger side door for Gemma she slips into seat shutting the door she put on her seat belt as Nero makes his way around to the drivers door opening it up, getting inside putting on his seat belt he starts the car then he backs up and the couple heads home.
Within a few minutes the couple is finally home they step inside, Nero goes into to check on Lucius and Kayla he finds them asleep in Lucius's bed so he just lets them be, Kayla can leave in the morning she's done it before. Nero goes back to the kitchen locking the door lightly for the night while Gemma goes to her bedroom puts her purse and keys on the dresser then goes to change into her pajamas as Nero walks in the bedroom changing his clothes, he slips into the bed waiting for Gemma, she slips into the bed seconds later, they kiss each other goodnight "I love you, baby" Gemma says as she turns off the light on her side of the bed "I love you, too, Mama" Nero says back as he lays down on his pillow, then turns off the other light. They both turn on their sides looking at each other Gemma moves closer to Nero placing her hand on his chest as he put his arm around Gemma as they quickly fall asleep for the night.
The Next Day: May 22nd 9am:
Nero is already awake this morning having breakfast, Kayla left an hour earlier for her home while Lucius and Gemma were still asleep. After breakfast Nero goes to get Lucius up and get him breakfast while trying not wake Gemma. Walking into this bedroom, he shakes Lucius "Hey Mijo, time to get up" Lucius groans "oh, dad do I have to?" He asks "Yeah come on" Nero helps Lucius out of bed carrying him to the kitchen table sitting him down, Nero gets a bowl and spoon sitting it in front of his son he gets the cereal pouring it in the bowl, then got out the milk from the refrigerator, pours it into bowl with the cereal "Thanks, dad" Lucius says as he starts to eat his breakfast, then Nero asks "what do you want to drink, Mijo?" "orange juice" Lucius says happily. Nero got a cup from the cabinet then pours the orange juice in it, setting it down at the table next to Lucius's cereal. As his son continues eating his breakfast, Nero goes to wake up Gemma although he doesn't really want to, but knows has to because they have another doctor's appointment later on today.
10am:
Nero walks into bedroom, leaning over Gemma he sits on the bed taking in his love, he gently shakes her awake "Babe" He says as he kisses her on her forehead. Gemma stirs slowly opening her eyes "Hey, baby" Nero smiles at her "time to get up" Gemma looks at him strangely "Why's that?" Nero says "Because Mama we've got a doctor's appointment at 1" Gemma glares at him "I know" Gemma decides to get up "Okay, baby I'm up" Gemma throws the covers off herself swinging her legs over the bed, putting on her slippers, padding her way to the kitchen with Nero following close behind.
Once in the kitchen Gemma reaches for a cup to have some orange juice that's when Nero reached for the cup their hands lightly touch "I'll get it you sit down" Gemma smiles at him "Thanks" Gemma goes and sits down in the chair "I want some orange juice" Nero replies "Okay" Nero gets out the juice pouring it into the cup handing it to Gemma as he asks her "What do you want for breakfast?" Gemma answers "just some toast and some more jello I think the baby likes that" Nodding Nero walks over to the counter, untwists the tie to the bread then takes out two pieces popping them in the toaster while waiting for the toast he opens the fridge grabbing the cup of strawberry jello and a spoon from the silverware drawer and hands her the jello and spoon, closing the fridge once again then goes to sit down in the other chair across from Gemma they make small talk for a bit as Gemma opens up her jello and slowly starts eating it, suddenly the toast pops up, Nero walks over to get the toast, putting the two pieces on a plate he butters them, then takes the plate with the toast over to Gemma setting the plate down in front of her and the orange juice "thanks, baby" Nero nods "you're welcome" Smiling Nero sits back down in the chair again just watching Gemma contently.
12:30pm:
A few hours later Nero and Gemma are getting dressed and ready for their next doctor's appointment since Gemma isn't showing yet she can still wear her same clothes so she puts on jeans and a t-shirt while Nero puts on a tank top and pants. Gemma goes into the bathroom to brush her teeth as she spits the toothpaste in the sink she notices a bit of blood she groans "oh damn" Nero walks to the door way of the bathroom "what's the wrong, Gem?" Shaking her head "nothin' babe my gums are just bleeding" Nero replies "Ah, yes one of the many joys of pregnancy" Gemma lightly smacks him on his shoulder "It's not a joy, you asshole" Nero comes over to her wrapping his arms around her "I'm sorry" he whispers in her ear. Sighing Gemma all of the sudden turns in Nero's arms wondering then asks "Oh baby, did you remember to call Kayla to come over and watch Lucius while we're gone?" Nero confirmed "Yeah I did she's on her way should be here soon"
12:35pm:
Within a few minutes a knock at the door interrupts Gemma and Nero "I'll get it, babe" Gemma says. Gemma walks to the door opening it revealing Kayla standing there, Gemma moves aside to let Kayla in "Hey sweetheart, Lucius is in his bedroom" Kayla smiles "Okay, thanks, Gemma" With that Gemma goes back into her bedroom to finish getting ready to leave. Nero is already dressed and ready by the time she gets back into the room. Gemma quickly goes into the bathroom she puts on her make up and brushes her hair. Coming out of the bathroom she announces to Nero "Well I guess I'm ready" Nero smiles "You look beautiful, Mama" "Gemma smiles at the compliment "Thanks" Nero goes into Lucius room to say goodbye to him "Hey Mijo, Gemma and I are going to our doctor's appointment now so you be good for Kayla okay" Lucius smiles "k dad, see ya later" Nero kisses him goodbye and leaves.
When Nero came from Lucius's room, he finds Gemma is waiting for him at the door walking towards her, he takes her hand into his and they walk out to the car together. They both get into the car putting their seat belts on, Nero starts up the car and heads to the hospital. While in the car Gemma breaks the quiet between them "Hey baby, what do you think of you and Lucius moving in with me?" Nero looks from the road to Gemma surprised at her question "Are you kiddin?'" He asks as he looks back at the road again Gemma replies seriously "No I'm not kidding, look Nero I love you and I know you love me and we are having a child together so it makes sense" Thinking about what Gemma has said, she does have a point
1:00pm:
Before Nero can answer to Gemma they are at the hospital, Nero turns off the car, taking the keys out of the ignition, he took off his seat belt as Gemma took off hers they get out of the car and walk into the hospital holding hands, Nero opens the the door Gemma goes in first, he holds the door for her as she steps in Nero grabs her hand as they walk toward the elevators, waiting a few seconds the elevator dings the doors open, Gemma and Nero step inside, Gemma presses the button for the 4th floor which is where Obstetrics is. While they are in the elevator Gemma can't resist noticing "you didn't answer my question" Nero looks at her "Gem, I love you, you know that, but are you sure you want us to move in with you, it'd be another huge change in your life, Mama" Gemma smirks "Nero, baby you know I can handle anything and I wouldn't have asked you if I didn't want you too, besides I love Lucius he's a great kid" Nero doesn't know what to say so he changes the subject instead "Gem, can we talk about this when we get home?" Gemma nods in agreement "Sure, babe" With that the rest of the elevator ride is silent.
The elevator finally gets to the 4th floor the doors open once again, Gemma and Nero step off and go to the reception desk, Gemma looks around if there's anyone she knew listening once she sees there isn't she starts speaking "I have an appointment with Dr. Shyer name is Gemma Teller" she says calmly to the receptionist. The receptionist Shelley scans the list "of course Gemma I remember you from last time" Gemma rolls her eyes in annoyance, but says nothing. Shelley ignores Gemma's reaction, but instead says "the nurse will call you in a few minutes just wait over there" she says pointing to the chairs. Gemma and Nero walk over to the chairs sitting down next to each other.
1:05pm:
The couple only has to wait a few moments before nurse Melissa calls out "Gemma Teller" from the hallway. Taking each others hands the couple walks down the hallway following the nurse to the examining room Melissa stops at room number 5, nurse Melissa opens the door steps aside letting Gemma and Nero into the room, Gemma sits on the table "change into this gown, Dr. Shyer will be with you soon" she said handing Gemma the folded up gown then leaves the room.
Once the nurse left, Gemma puts on the gown, she then gets a chill and starts to shiver rubbing her arms "I'm cold" She says looking at Nero whose sitting over across from Gemma in a chair, gets up comes over to her putting her arms around trying to warm her up, he smiles at her "Is that better?" She smiles at him whispering "Yes". Moments later, the door opens revealing Dr. Shyer "Gemma, Nero..Hi" the doctor said shaking their hands. "Hey doc" says Gemma "Hi" said Nero. "So Gemma how are you doing?" She asks. "I'm doing okay the morning sickness is still bad, but I'm hoping it'll go away" Dr. Shyer smiles "Well your only in you're 2nd month so it's not going to go away now, but it should by the 4th month although for some women the morning sickness can continue for the rest of their pregnancy" Gemma groans when Dr. Shyer says that "Oh I hope that doesn't happen, having it now is bad enough" Dr. Shyer chuckles "I understand, so any pain? or problems besides the morning sickness?" Gemma shakes her head no "okay well let's see how the baby is doing today" Gemma laid down table, lifts up her gown to expose her stomach, Dr. Shyer squeezes gel on Gemma's stomach, she moves the doppler around, pressing a few buttons on the monitor as Nero comes over to Gemma taking her hand gazing at the monitor. Within a few seconds Dr. Shyer finally sees the baby on the monitor she smiles looking over at the couple happily "there's your baby" Gemma and Nero smile at each other as relief washes over them.
Still gazing at the monitor Gemma asks "Is it okay?" Dr. Shyer continues moving the doppler around Gemma's stomach looking for any abnormalities or problems with the baby "your baby still seems fine right now" Nero kisses Gemma's hand at hearing the news. Dr. Shyer then asks "Do you want to hear your baby's heartbeat?" Gemma and Nero shake their heads yes. Dr. Shyer puts the heart doppler on Gemma's stomach moving it around trying to find the baby's heartbeat, inside Gemma starts to get nervous as she silently prays the doctor can find the heartbeat finally they hear a thumping noise "there it is, the heartbeat still sounds great" Dr. Shyer takes the doppler off Gemma's stomach then wipes off the gel with a cloth as she puts her gown back down.
Dr. Shyer grabs the blood pressure cuff, putting it on her arm, squeezing the bulb quickly, once on tightly she looks at the dial reader "your blood pressure is still great 120/80" With that Dr. Shyer takes off the blood pressure cuff. The doctor takes stethoscope her from around her neck and listens to Gemma's heartbeat "it sounds good, have you been taking your medication?" Dr. Shyer asks as Gemma looks at her like she's crazy "of course I'm, doc" Dr. Shyer smiles "okay I just had to ask, well everything with you and the baby looks great so far, if you have any questions, call me, I'll see you again in two months" Dr. Shyer shakes their hands and leaves, Once the doctor left Gemma changes back into her clothes again. The couple then leaves the room happy in knowing that their baby is still okay and they can't wait to meet their child.
Gemma and Nero head to the elevator, it dings open they step inside, Nero presses the number #1 button as they are going down, Nero moves closer to Gemma kissing her hand "I love you, Gemma" Gemma replies "I love you, too Nero, I'm so glad our baby's okay" Nero smiles "me too I was worried there for a while" Gemma nods "so was I" The elevator finally dings open once again, the two step out walking to the car and head home.
2pm:
The couple arrives home later that day opening the door they walk inside, Gemma throws her keys and purse on the table she goes into Lucius's room to check on him "Hey you two we're back" Kayla and Lucius look at doorway "Hi Gemma!" Lucius asks curiously "how's my brother or sister?" She replies happily "the baby's fine, sweetheart" Hearing this Lucius is very happy as he can't wait for his new sibling to be born. Kayla smiles at Gemma's news "I'm so happy for you guys and happy that the baby's okay" Gemma smiles back at the young girl "Thanks, sweetheart" Kayla hugs Lucius goodbye "bye Lucius" Lucius waves at her "bye Kayla thanks for staying with me" Kayla replies "you're welcome, hon" Kayla walks to the door as she leaves Nero comes over taking out some money from his pocket "Hey Kayla, here's your pay for watching Lucius for us" Kayla takes the money "thanks, Mr. Padilla" she replies as Nero opens the door for her and she walks out the door.
Nero walks back to Gemma's room where he finds her on the bed, he sits on the bed his back towards her "I've thinkin' a lot about what you said earlier-" He starts to say as Gemma put up her hand stopping him "Nero it's okay I understand" Nero looks at her as he clarifies his words "Nah Mama, I was gonna say you have a point and I think we should move in because like you said we are having a child and everything" Gemma looks at him confused for a moment "really?" Gemma smiles crawling over to him, kissing him on his lips as he picks Gemma up putting her on top of him as they continue to make out their tongues battle in each others mouths that's when Gemma stops the kissing to get some air "Baby, we gotta stop" Gemma says breathing heavily. Nero asks seductively "Are you sure you want too? you of all people isn't one to turn down sex" Gemma looks at him incredulously "Whose talking about sex?" Nero laughs, questioning "come on, Mama you know that's what you want?" Gemma smirks "well...Okay you got me, you know me too well" Nero nods "I know we'll have to take a rain check, baby because Lucius is awake" Gemma kisses him softly "Baby, you're too hard to resist, but okay we'll continue this later" Gemma gets off Nero, she gently pats his chest and walks into the bathroom to take a shower as Nero watches her walk away disappearing into the bathroom.
Two Days Later: May 24th3pm:
Gemma is at T.M. working she decides that today is the day she's going to tells the boys she's pregnant because she's going to be showing in a few more months and besides that Tig is already starting to get suspicious. After a while Gemma gets up from her office chair she goes into the clubhouse where the boys all are they are talking among themselves, she asks them to come into the office with her, she begins "So um I asked you all in here to tell you something because it's important, so sit down all of you" motions to the chairs in the office.
The boys sit down in the chairs, Tig looks at Gemma asking "Gem, what's this all about? Are you okay?" Gemma sits down onto the couch across from the guys "I'm fine Tig...well okay I'm not really" she says, the guys look at her confused. She's now getting very nervous, she gets up from the couch starts to pace back and forth in the office the boys notice this "Gem, just tell us what's wrong we love you, you can tell us anything" Opie says sympathetically then adds "What is it?"
Taking a deep breath she looks all the men in the eyes thinking in her head I've got no choice
"I'm pregnant"
