Buffy immediately launched into her spiel of why Angel should be spared and Amy stared at her and then said. "That's disgusting on so very many levels. The kind of Magic needed to do that would be nasty and dark all on it's own. And the soul locked up next to a demon? That's nasty too and you dating him? You do understand that the face you see is a mask? Not his real face? Unlike myself or other Wesen who have two natures and thus two faces, vampire's have only one nature, soul or no soul, the human face is just a mask for what's underneath it. A way of luring prey to it. My other face isn't very pretty -."

"I'll say." Faith said.

"You get used to it." Xander said. "Jesse never even notices when she woges anymore."

"But, it's not the face of a demon either. And curses break, there's always an outclause to them."

"So Xander has mentioned." Buffy said. "Is there something you can do about that? Some Magic that can help him?"

"Mohra blood can make him human again, they're rare, but if you find one, just a few drops is all it takes, beyond that, free the soul. It's being tormented by the demon."

"I was unaware of that." Wesley said. "That there's a method to make vampires human again."

"The others wouldn't have their souls, it's moved on. I only recommend it because he does have his. If you can prove he has it, I mean."

"Buffy can't see the demon in him because it's hiding behind the soul." Xander told her. "I can't see souls, but I can see demons, so I know what he is. And if she didn't literally stand in front of him, while he hid behind her, I'd have destroyed him already."

"I notice he's keeping her in-between the two of you, nice, a coward."

"Hey!" Buffy said indignantly. Amy ignored her.

"I'm going to head over to Crawford Mansion, see what can I find. Where will you be?"

"Apparently the local me and Willow are at the High School helping Giles with something. Willow's gone back home."

"Vamp?" Amy asked sympathetically.

"Yes. And I need to let my counterpart know what he is."

"He's got a real hate for vampires, given what they did to Jesse. Knowing he can rival a Slayer for strength will make him very happy."

"I don't like them either, I've had that opinion since I destroyed my first one. Meet up with you at Crawford Mansion in an hour? Should give us both enough time."

"I'll be there." Amy gathered her stuff and headed out.

"And how does she know what you are, Xander?"

"Vampires can sense Slayers, just like Slayers can sense vampires. A Grimm sees the other face of a Wesen and our eyes reflect an image back at them. A reflection of what we see and feel. A Grimm is described as someone who can see into the heart of darkness and know the truth, they see the truth of what they are in our eyes."

"And you're as strong as I am?"

"We spar together. Giles' piss poor idea of training left you vulnerable."

"Slayers have inherent abilities." Wesley pointed out.

"They have instincts and natural ability, same as us, but lack skills, same as us. It has to be trained to be effective. You think vampires are strong? Most Wesen out class them and I'm the thing they're afraid, not vampires. Just like vampires are of Slayers. And Amy? Amy is capable of being something we can all be afraid of. But most Wesen don't want to hurt anyone, they just want to live their lives in peace. We can give them that by destroying vampires and real demons."
