It was a typical Monday morning, and Marinette, Alya, Adrien and Nino were waiting for class to begin. Marinette sipped her Starbucks, leaning over to Alya as she typed away furiously on her phone. "Doing some research, girl?" she asked. Alya smiled. "Sorta. I was looking baby girl names and I think Blossom would be so cute." "Maybe if she looked like you, Alya, you could name her Orange Blossom," Nino suggested, playing with a strand of Alya's hair. "Ooh, I like that! What would you name your child, Adrien?" Alya gave Marinette a playful wink.

Adrien's face took on an angelic glow, as if he was thinking lovely thoughts. "If I had a little girl, I'd name her Emma." Marinette perked up like a prairie dog and it wasn't because of the extra shot of espresso. Emma! "Why? What does it mean?" Nino asked. "I don't think it means anything. I like cause it sounds like Emile." Adrien sounded shy as he continued. "That was my mom's name, you know." "So, it must mean something wonderful, because my mother was wonderful." He sighed, happily, then turned, glancing back at Marinette for a moment.

Marinette could hardly contain her internal squealing! She had just picked the name Emma because she liked it, but oh, if it sounded like Emile, that was even better!

Maybe its meant to be, she thought as the bell rang.

Though they moved on to other topics, both Marinette and Adrien had soft glow for the rest of the day, for one day in the future, little Emma or Emile would be a dream come true.
