A few notes for this chapter: I was gonna write in a wedding shower for Gemro, but I think they already have everything they need. I don't know if cameras are allowed in courthouses for weddings, but this is fanfiction and my story so I'm gonna make them allowed, brief Spanish in this chapter. Last, but not least there will be sexual content in this chapter, read at your own own risk. It was hard for me write this drama for Gemro, but I love drama so I had to because it's real life everything isn't happy all the time.

Previously On Big Surprise:
Once everyone has everything they need the eating begins, Gemma has Abel in her arms while she eats After a few minutes Gemma's arm is starting to get tired so she decides to put the baby in her bedroom to sleep since he's still not feeling well, she places him in the middle of the bed so he doesn't fall out, she turns off the lights and walks back into the kitchen to sit down again and finish eating while watching from afar her family and her big boys enjoying themselves for once in a long while.
Chapter 11: Su Amor Es Probado (Their Love Is Tested
A half hour later everyone is done eating "Gem that was an amazing dinner, thanks for having us" Bobby says "Yeah, thanks Gemma" Tig replies "Anytime guys, I made dessert, chocolate pie, who wants some?" Gemma asks getting up to get the pie everyone raises their hands, Nero gets up to help Gemma, he grabs some small plates for the pie and forks from the silverware drawer, he places the plates on the table as Gemma puts the pieces of pie on the plates, Nero hands out the pies and forks to everyone, Gemma gave Abel and Lucius smaller pieces.
An hour later everyone's done with the dessert they all decide to leave, thanking Gemma once again for everything, the guys leave a few minutes later. The house is pretty quiet now with only Wendy sitting at the table with Lucius, Gemma, Nero, Jax, Wendy and Abel is still in Gemma's room asleep. Moments later Wendy and Jax decided to leave "I'll see you guys later" Gemma gets up grabbing Wendy's coat and purse handing it to her "Bye darlin'" while Jax goes into his mother's room grabbing his son and the couple walks to the door where Gemma opens it and they leave.
After everyone has left Gemma and Nero start cleaning up the kitchen as Nero brings over all the dishes Gemma fills up the sink with water and dish soap, she starts putting the dishes in the soapy water while Nero unloads the dishwasher than puts the other dirty dishes into the dishwasher "This was a great family dinner, baby" Gemma commented "Yeah it was, it was nice seeing everyone and them enjoying themselves" Gemma nodded continuing to Nero clean up.
9pm
After a while the kitchen is cleaned up, Nero gets Lucius ready for bed as Gemma retreats to her and Nero's room to get ready for bed. She puts on her pajamas and crawls into bed, gets her sewing basket out and continues on with the baby hat she's still making, Nero returns to the bedroom, crawling in next to Gemma "Lucius is asleep" Gemma replies "Great" Nero kisses her on her cheek "Still working on the hat?" Gemma nods "Yep, it shouldn't take too much longer, I also want her to be wrapped in the blanket I made" Nero smiles "Yeah it's a beautiful blanket, Mama" Gemma replies "Thanks"
10pm
After a few more minutes Gemma starts to get tired "I'm getting tired" she announces to Nero, putting her sewing basket on the floor, turned off the light on her side of the bed, Nero turns off the light on his side and laid down beside Gemma wrapping his arm around her waist protectively as Gemma put her hand onto his they both drift off to sleep.
7am
The next morning, Gemma wakes up coughing, has trouble breathing through her nose, she groans as she starts sneezing "Achoo" she sneezes grabbing a tissue from the nightstand to blow her nose. Her sneezing and coughing awakens Nero, sitting up he looks over at her concerned "Mama, you okay?" Gemma shook her head. "No, I think I caught the cold Abel had" She says hoarsely. Nero kisses her on her forehead "Aw Mama, I'm sorry, do you want some juice?" Gemma starts coughing again, holding her throat "Oh, my throat hurts" Nero places his hand on her forehead feeling it "You feel a little warm" Gemma put her own hand on her forehead herself "Can you get me the thermometer?" Nero nods getting up walking into the bathroom, opening the medicine cabinet, looking for the thermometer spotting it, he walks back to the bed handing it to Gemma she looks at it making sure it's ready, it is she puts it in her ear waiting for it to beep within seconds she hears the beep of the thermometer and reads the numbers on it:100.2
She sighs heavily "I have a slight fever just great!" Nero gets up from the bed again goes into the kitchen, grabbing a glass from the cupboard pouring the orange juice in it, walking back to the bedroom he hands Gemma some juice "Here you go, babe, this might help" Gemma's blowing her nose, she takes the juice from him, drinking some, then puts the glass down on the table beside her. Nero crawls back into the bed moving closer to Gemma shivers as chills come over her body she covers herself up "I'm cold..I've got the chills" Nero puts his arm around her trying to keep her warm "Baby, your gonna get my cold, you shouldn't be so close" Nero replies "So, what?, I don't care" Gemma laughs "You will care if you end up in bed" She sniffles. Nero asks "Do you want some soup?" Gemma shakes her head "No, not right now" Nero replies "Mama, you've gotta eat something if not you, for our daughter" He points out rubbing her belly, kissing it gently. Gemma nods "Okay you're right can you make me some toast and tea?" Nero nods "Sure, I'll be right back" Nero comes back to the bedroom with the toast and tea handing them to Gemma "Thanks, darlin'" Nero replies "you're welcome, Mama" She sets the plate with the toast on her lap and takes a drink of her tea, half hour later she's done with her breakfast.
Gemma starts her knitting again "Are you going into work?" Nero shakes his head "Nah, I'm gonna stay home and take care of you" Gemma smiles grabbing a tissue to blow her nose "You don't have to" Nero kisses the top of her hand "I want to take care of you, it's my job" Gemma relents quickly "Okay, okay I have to admit I love having someone to take care of me" Gemma grabs thermometer sticking it in her ear waiting for it to beep, seconds later it does reading:101.8 "my fever is up a bit, 101.8" Nero feels her forehead himself "mmm I'm sorry, babe"
Gemma looks at Nero announcing "Baby, we should get married soon, I want to be married to you and start our family" He looked at in surprise "You think we should, I mean a wedding a stressful enough, Mama" Gemma nods "I know it is, we could always elope" She suggests. Nero laughs "You sure, Jax might not like that" Gemma sighs "I know, but we can invite him, Wendy and Abel" Nero shrugs his shoulders "Okay, Mama if that's how you want to do we'll do it that way, I want you to have the wedding you want, I love you" He adds "So when do you wanna do it?" Gemma smiles happily "Next month", the 18th at 3pm what do you think?" Nero replies surprised "That soon?" Gemma nods "Yeah, is that okay with you?" Nero takes her hand into his, kissing her forehead "It's fine, I can't wait to be married to you" Gemma cups his face "Me too" She whispers.
Gemma coughs, "Babe, can you get some soup now?" Nero nods "Sure, what kind do you want?" She thinks for a moment "Chicken noodle" She replies simply as he disappears into the kitchen to make the soup within minutes he returns with the soup on a tray, she takes the tray from him putting it on her lap "Thanks, baby" Nero crawls back into the bed with her as she starts to blows on her soup to making sure it's not too hot, she starts to eat while Nero picks up the book he was reading, Gemma finishes her soup a few minutes later, but she's still drinking her tea slowly she gives the tray back to Nero he puts it into the kitchen, she puts her cup of tea on the table next to her, she gets her knitting basket from the floor and starts to knit more on the baby's hat "Babe, I'm gonna try and finish painting the baby's room" Nero announces "Okay, have fun" Gemma says as he walks into the guest room to paint.
A few days later Gemma's cold is gone thanks to soup, tea and cold medication; Nero has finished painting the baby's room with everything she wanted, all the room needs is baby furniture to make it complete. Gemma has now finished her baby's hat she puts the hat on top of the blanket she had made for the baby earlier placing it on the dresser until they get the furniture into the nursery.
A Month Later: August 12th 9pm
Gemma is now 5 months pregnant, her stomach has gotten bigger now sighing she looks in mirror at herself, she smiles placing her hand on her stomach, her little girl is moving more as she feels Nero's hands wrap around her waist "Hey, baby" He kisses her neck "Hey, how are you two doing?" She smiles "we are fine" all the sudden she feels a sharp movement in her belly "Oh!" she exclaims clutching her stomach, Nero looks at her concerned "You alright, Mama?" taking deep breaths she responds "Yeah, she's kicking" Nero smiles placing his hand on her stomach "Whoa! Mija calm down little one" he says rubbing her belly "I have to call Jax and Tara to tell them about our wedding" She remarks as Nero smiles letting go of Gemma going to the stereo turning it on Sade's By Your Side plays "Dance with me, Mama" Nero holds out his hand, she stands up from the bed taking it, he pulls her close to him as she put her head on his shoulder they start to slow dance.
Gemma closes her eyes as Nero sways her in his arms along to the music, she puts her arms around him they continue slow dancing after a few minutes the song is over, Gemma yawns, Nero picks her up putting her in the bed, he goes over to the stereo turning it off then walks into Lucius's room checking to see if he's asleep he is, he kisses him on his forehead, covering him up, then walks into his and Gemma's bedroom, he notices Gemma's already asleep he smiles as he puts on some clothes for bed, he crawls into his side of the bed, he pulls the covers over himself, moving closer to Gemma holding her as he drifts off to sleep.
Later On That Night: 4am:
Gemma suddenly awakens feeling the baby sitting on her bladder she reaches up turning on the light next to her bed looking over at her husband gently moving his hand from her belly then throws the covers off herself slowly getting up from the bed groaning softly she stands up holding onto the side of her back walking over to the bathroom going inside closing the door quietly behind her once inside she turns on the light walks over the toilet putting down the lid pulling down her pajamas pants and panties and sits down and starts peeing sighing tiredly.
After a few minutes she's done grabbing some toilet paper from the roll she wipes herself throwing the toilet paper in the toilet she grabs the sink counter for support and slowly stands up flushing the toilet then pulls up her panties and pants and slowly walks to the sink to wash her hands and walks out turning off the light on her way out heading back to bed.
August 13th 10am
The next morning, it's early Nero is already awake beside Gemma he doesn't want to get up, his hands protectively go to Gemma's belly that's when Gemma awakens, slowly opening her eyes looking at him "Good morning, baby" She greets him putting her on hand on his which is still on her stomach "Hey, she's moving again" Gemma smiles "I know, she's moving a lot more now" She points out turning over on her side facing him "I guess we should get up, is Lucius up yet?" Nero shrugs his shoulders "I don't know, I don't hear him so I guess not, but I'll check in a few minutes" Gemma nods yawning "Okay" Gemma sits slowly rubbing her eyes of sleep as Nero gets up from his side of the bed to help her up "Thanks" She pads her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and go to the bathroom, while Nero goes to check and see if Lucius is up.
"Hey, Mijo" He says sitting on the bed looking at his son laying on the bed
"Hey, Papi" He answers sleepily rubbing her eyes of sleep.
"Are you ready for breakfast?" He asks
"I don't know" He replies back
"Okay, well I'm going to go make Gemma some, so let me know when you want some" He says patting his son's leg, getting up from the bed.
"Okay" He says smiling.
Nero leaves the room going into the kitchen where Gemma is pouring herself some orange juice, she smiles at him "Hey, is Lucius up?" She asks taking a sip of her juice.
"Yeah, he's up, but he doesn't want breakfast right now" He replies getting himself some coffee from the machine.
Gemma looks at him concerned "Is he sick?" Nero shakes his head "Nah, I don't think so" Gemma sets her juice on the table, then grabs her phone "I'm gonna call Jax and Wendy telling them about the wedding" Nero nods kissing her on her lips.
"Alright, what do you want for breakfast?" He asks looking at her, waiting patiently.
"Something simple...cereal maybe" She replies walking away to make her phone call.
Nero starts to make Gemma's breakfast for her meanwhile in the other room Gemma is on the phone with Wendy "So Nero and I are going to get married in on the 18th at 3pm"
Wendy isn't surprised by Gemma's announcement "Great, okay where are you going to have the wedding at?"
Gemma looks up to see Nero as he hands her her breakfast she whispers a thank you to him
"Well we're going to elope, do it at the courthouse" Wendy replied "Okay" Gemma replies "Yeah, we just wanted to done and be married" Wendy smiles "Gemma, are you sure about this?" Gemma replies as she eats a spoonful of her cereal "Yeah, I already talked to Nero about it already and he said it was fine, it's whatever I want to do, besides I've already done the whole wedding thing it's too much of a hassle not to mention stressful" Wendy smiles at what she's hearing "I'm so happy for you two!" she exclaimed
Wendy happily says "We'll be there, I've gotta go, Abel is crying, bye Gemma" after she hangs up from her phone call she continues eating her cereal which has now become soft and mushy, she groans "That's what I get for not paying attention to breakfast" She says to herself. She throws her cereal in the garbage then puts her spoon and bowl into the sink.
Gemma walks back into her and Nero's bedroom where Nero is getting dressed, he looks up to see her sitting on the bed putting on her boots "Hey, Mama so did you tell Tara and Jax about our wedding?" He asks putting on his shirt "Yeah I did, she says she'll be there although I don't know about Jax I guess he wasn't there, but I'm sure she'll tell him about it" Nero nods "He will be, baby" He smiles trying to make her feel better. "I hope so, well guess I better get into work" She announces "Me too" He says agreeing, a knock at the door interrupts them "It's probably Kayla" Gemma says as she goes to answer the door "Hey, baby" She greets Kayla "Hey Gemma, wow the baby's really growing now" Gemma glares at her for her comment, Kayla smiles "I'm sorry, Gem I didn't mean that the way you took it" Gemma starts to cry "I'm sorry, I know these damn hormones have me so sensitive right now" She sniffles "Aw I know!" Kayla gives her a hug as she takes off her coat putting it on the coat rack.
Clearing her throat she asks "Is Lucius up?" Gemma nods "Yeah he is, but he didn't want breakfast earlier so you'll have to get him some" Kayla looks at the older woman concerned "Is he sick?" Gemma laughs "That's exactly what I asked Nero this morning, he said no, so I don't know why he doesn't want breakfast" She adds "Nero and I are getting married on the 18th" Kayla smiles happily "It's about time, I'm so happy for you guys!" She exclaims walking over kissing Gemma on the cheek then gives her a hug "Yeah, we just want it to be done and over with you know especially because weddings are so stressful" Kayla nods understandingly "Yeah they are so you two aren't having a regular wedding?" She asks getting some coffee, Gemma shakes her head "No, we are eloping, doing it at the courthouse instead" Kayla looks at her surprised "Really? Why are you eloping?" Gemma looks at her "Well you know like I said weddings can be stressful and I'm pregnant too so it'll be easier on the both of us" Kayla smiles "Well as long as you are married and happy that's all that matters" Gemma takes a deep breath "Yep so true"
11:15am
Just then Nero appears in the kitchen saying Hi to Kayla as Gemma goes back into the bedroom to get dressed real quick with seconds Gemma reappears in the kitchen with Nero and Kayla "Well I'm gonna go and get Lucius and hopefully he'll want breakfast now" Gemma and Nero both nod as she goes into Lucius's room "Well, baby ready to go?" Gemma asks taking his arm, "Yeah, let's go" Nero nods they head out to the car, Gemma hands Nero her keys, he walks around to the drivers side getting in, putting on his seat belt, Gemma slides into the passenger side, puts on her seat belt., Nero arrives at T.M. within a few minutes, Nero gets out and goes around the passenger side opening the door helping Gemma out "I love you" She whispers, he kisses her "I love you too, Gem" He whispers back.
Nero holds onto her for a bit, she closes her eyes leaning into his body, she yawns "I was about to fall asleep on you" Nero laughs "It's okay, Mama" Gemma says her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want you to go" smiling he replies placing his hands on her shoulders. "I don't wanna go either, but we gotta work" She groans. "Mama relax we'll be back with each other before you know it" Gemma looks at him reminding "Don't forget to pick our marriage license before you come home tonight, the place closes at 5" Nero nods "Okay I will thanks for the reminder" Gemma smiles giving him one last hug before he heads off to Disoa.
Once in her office, she takes out her pills from her purse placing them on the desk in front of her, she grabs some water from the jug, popping her heart pill into her mouth she takes a drink of the water to wash the pill down, she pops her pre-natal vitamins into her mouth again washing them down with water, groaning as they go down into her throat bitterly.
12pm
Sighing heavily she rubs her belly as she feels the baby move "Sorry, baby I know you aren't liking those pills either does mommy" the ringing of the phone interrupts the piece and quiet "Yeah" She answers to the other person at the end "Okay, mm-hmm, sure, thanks, bye" She hangs up sitting back down in her chair to finish the paperwork she was working before the phone rang. After a few minutes paperwork is finished. Gemma decides to make herself some lunch walking into the clubhouse kitchen, she opens up the refrigerator carefully bending down to look to see what's in it "hmm" she taps her fingers lightly on the door, seeing nothing that looks good to her she whispers to herself "Well guess I'll make myself a sandwich" grabbing the bread, taking out of two pieces from the bag she feels two pairs of hands around her waist, she yelps "Oh!" turning around she sees Nero staring at her "Hey, Mama" Gemma lightly hits him "You asshole you scared me..or should I say us!" Nero smiles whispering "Sorry" adding "and I'm sorry baby girl daddy didn't mean to scare you too" He says to her stomach rubbing it gently.
Gemma asks "What are you doing here?" She puts the bread on the counter, walks over to the fridge to get the jelly out, then gets the peanut butter and a butter knife to make her sandwich.
"I wanted to have lunch with my girl" He replies kisses her neck as she leans into him. Gemma smiles "Does Lyla know your here?" Nero replies "Yeah, of course" Gemma continues making her sandwich while Nero looks in the fridge for something to eat "You know there's nothing really good in there to eat that's why I'm making myself a sandwich" She points out looking over at him as she grabs a bottle of juice and an apple.
Nero looks at her then back to the fridge "Well there's gotta be something in here to eat" Gemma grabs at plate putting her sandwich on it, she walks over to Nero patting him on his shoulder "Good luck with that" She says pointing inside the fridge leaving for her office while Nero just shakes his head watching her walk away.
Gemma sits down at her desk in her office waiting for Nero "hope he finds something to eat in there" She mumbles to herself taking a bite of her apple. Moments later Nero arrives in her office sitting down in the chair next to her "Well you were right I didn't see anything good so I made myself a sandwich too" Gemma just smirks at him, they eat their lunches in silence grateful for the quietness although they know it won't last for long.
Minutes later they are finished, Nero takes their plates putting them into the clubhouse kitchen and taking Gemma's garbage throwing it away in the can. When he returns to Gemma he finds her on the couch, he sits down next to her placing his hand on her stomach as she rests her hand on top of his intertwining their hands together.
7pm
Nero arrives home later that night, Kayla is there in the kitchen getting herself something to drink "Hey Nero" greeting him. "Hey, is Gemma home?" Kayla nods "In the bedroom" Nero smiles "Thanks, oh did Lucius eat okay today?" Kayla nods "Yeah he did, he's okay" Nero sighs in relief "Good, I was worried earlier..well I'll be in our bedroom" With that Nero disappears into the bedroom with Gemma he finds her knitting "Hey Mama, now what you knitting?" He asks curiously as he takes off his shoes "booties for the baby's feet" Nero nods "cute, so how was the rest of your day?" Gemma smiles "Fine, but I really missed you after you left the office" He crawls over to her whispering "I missed you, Mama" He kisses her softly, she smiles going back to her knitting "You know, babe we need to get baby furniture for baby's room" Nero says breaking the silence "I know and we will" Nero gets up from the bed "Babe you want anything?" Gemma looks at him "From where?" She asks "The kitchen" Thinking a few seconds she replies "No, thanks" Nero nods going into the kitchen for something to drink, he comes back with a glass of milk.
Two hours later, Gemma and Nero are getting ready for bed, Nero checks to see if Lucius is asleep, he is while Gemma gets under the covers laying her head on the pillow, she turns on her side trying to get comfortable Nero reappears in their room announcing to Gemma "Lucius is asleep" before going back into the kitchen, Nero returns with a bowl of popcorn "Hey Mama, I made some popcorn" Nero crawls back into the bed putting the popcorn in between them "Now that we have the popcorn let's watch a movie" Gemma suggests "Okay" Nero replies as Gemma turns on the TV flipping through the channels to find a movie to watch she finally finds a romantic movie "Ah, perfect for us" She announces taking a handful of popcorn putting it into her mouth, Nero scoots closer to Gemma putting his arm around her taking some popcorn from the bowl, looking down Nero he notices she's falling asleep he kisses her on her forehead gently putting her head on the pillow, he switches off the TV, puts the bowl of popcorn down on the floor turns off the lights he covers up her with the covers then covers himself up drifting off to sleep.
A Few Days Later: August 18th 9am
Gemma bolted up from the bed gasping "Oh my god" Gemma's heavy breathing awaken Nero turning over looking at her "Hey, Mama what's wrong?" Gemma turns to face him "We're getting married today!" She exclaims, Nero caresses her face "I know, Mama" He smiles at her happily adding "I can't wait" Turning on her side she replies "I can't wait either, I've gotta call Wendy and Jax to see if they are still coming" Nero looked at her confused "Why wouldn't they?" Gemma replies "You know how it is with club business" Nero yawns getting up from the bed "I'm gonna go see if Lucius is up yet" Gemma just nods staying in the bed she happily glances down at her engagement ring which is still around her neck the ringing of the phone takes her out of the happy moment "Hello?" She answers sleepily "Gemma, it's Wendy" the young woman replies while waking Abel up and herself some breakfast "Hey sweetheart" Gemma answers back getting up from the bed going into the kitchen to get some orange juice opening the refrigerator she grabs the juice setting it on the counter, gets a glass from the cupboard pouring the juice into the glass she takes a small sip "So I was calling to let you know Jax and I and Abel will be at your wedding" Gemma sat down at the table with her drink "Good because I was just about to call you about that" Nero comes into the kitchen with Lucius sitting him down into the chair, he kisses Gemma on the lips whispering "Good morning, babe" Gemma smiles at him putting the phone down for a minute whispering back "Good morning to you, too" Gemma brings the phone back to her ear "Just a reminder the wedding is at 3pm, but come early" Wendy replies "Okay we will" They both hang up, Gemma makes herself some cereal while Nero makes Lucius breakfast, he puts a plate of toast in front of Lucius with some milk to drink as Gemma takes a seat at the table to eat her breakfast, Nero gets himself some coffee and sits down across from Gemma and Lucius watching them eat their food.
After a few minutes Gemma's done eating she puts her glass and bowl in the sink, then walks into her and Nero's bedroom, a knock at the door interrupts Nero's thoughts he gets up to answer it revealing Kayla "Hey Kayla" She smiles giving him a hug "Hey Nero, it's your wedding day today, I'm so happy for you guys" Nero smiles back "Yeah, it is, Lucius is eating right now so you don't have to feed him his breakfast, I think Gemma's going into work at least for a few hours and so am I" Kayla nods hanging her coat and purse on the coat rack "Okay, no problem" She sits down next to Lucius while Nero walks back into the bedroom where Gemma is sitting on the bed putting on her boots as she's trying to put on her boots her stomach is full of butterflies and nerves not because she's marrying Nero, but because of the pregnancy and of course the fact that she's getting married all over again even though they are eloping. Nero sat down next to her pulling a strand of hair from her face "Hey baby, you okay?" She smiles nervously "Yeah, I'm just a little nervous that's all" Nero wrapped his arm around her "Why, are you having second thoughts about getting married?" Gemma shook her head "No, of course not it's just... She stops mid sentence, Nero replies "What? Say it" Gemma clears her throat "it's just pregnancy butterflies and nerves you know and of course the fact that I'm getting married all over again the stress" she turned facing him asking "Are you?" he smiles shaking his head "No, baby, of course, why would you ask that?" he asked, curiously. He asks putting on his shirt "Yeah, but not for long because we have to come back here and get ready" Nero replies "Yeah, me too I'm going into work" Gemma blows air out of her cheeks as she helps Nero with putting his necklace around his neck clipping it on "Thanks, Mama" Gemma wraps her arms around his waist "You're welcome, baby, I love you" Nero turns in her arms replying "I love you too, Gem" Gemma lets go of him going into the bathroom to brush her teeth and hair, then put on her make up, as Nero watches her from the other room, Gemma looks over at him "What?" Nero replies "You're so beautiful, Mama you don't need any make up" Gemma stops what she's doing putting her make up away in her purse, turning off the light walking over to Nero "You're so sweet" she says getting emotional again "Damn these hormones!" She exclaims wiping her tears "I'm sorry" Nero whispers "It's okay come on, let's get to work we don't have to stay there too long" Nero rubs her stomach gently "You be good for mommy today, Mija" Gemma laughs "Darlin', the baby still can't hear" Nero glares at her shaking his head as she walks into the kitchen grabbing her purse and phone "Baby, are you coming?" She yells from the kitchen "I'm coming, Mama" He yells back slowly walking into the kitchen standing behind her, she hooks her arm into him giving him her keys "Here, you drive" She replies as he takes the keys from her "Bye you two we'll be back in a few hours to get ready" Gemma says as she and Nero open the door as Kayla closes it shut after them "Okay buddy, do you want to play a game?" Kayla asks once Gemma and Nero are gone "Yeah" Lucius replies happily "Okay" She replies helping him out of the chair carrying him into his bedroom.
10am
Gemma and Nero arrived at T.M. within minutes Nero walks Gemma into the office she takes off her sunglasses blinking her eyes she waits a few minutes for her eyes to get used to the dark, walking over to the desk she hangs her purse up so it's out of the way, Nero stands patiently in the doorway, Gemma walks over to him wrapping her arms around him "I'll see you later, I love you" Nero kisses her "See you later, love you, too babe" They hold onto each other for a few minutes then he lets her go putting on his sunglasses and leaves for work.
Gemma sits down at her desk to take her pills really quick washing them down with some water, after that she puts on her glasses and starts on the paperwork that has pilled up over the last few days.
Three hours later the paperwork is done, it's now 1pm Gemma decides to grab a quick lunch before heading back to the house to get ready, she already talked with the guys earlier about the wedding and they all will be there as well, it's gonna be a family affair. Gemma gets up from the chair as Tig comes into the office "Hey Gem" He greets her as she goes into the clubhouse kitchen he follows close behind her "Hey Tig, what do you want?" She asks as she opens up the fridge "When should me and the guys be at the wedding?" Gemma rolls her eyes at the question "Don't you assholes listen to anything I say?" Tig smiles "Come on, Gem of course we do" Gemma turns around facing him "Oh yeah if you really did listen then why in the hell are you asking me that question!" She yells, Tig backs away from her with his hands raised in front of him "Whoa, Gemma calm down" Gemma closes the fridge and walks over to Tig crying "I'm sorry" She apologizes as he wraps his arms around comforting her "It's okay, Gem" He whispers as she sniffles wiping her eyes he hands her a tissue "Thanks" she replies taking the tissue from him adding "the wedding is at 3 it's at the courthouse, but come a few minutes early" Gemma stops crying after a few minutes patting him on the shoulder "If you'll excuse me I have to get myself some lunch quickly before I have to go home and change" Tig stops her offering "Hey, why don't you go back to your office and I'll get you lunch" She smiles "Sure, thanks" Tig asks "What do you want to eat?" Gemma thinks for a few moments "something easy like a apple and a sandwich and some juice" Tig nods "Okay" With that Gemma walks back to the office to wait for her lunch.
Meanwhile in the clubhouse kitchen Tig is making Gemma's lunch for her when Bobby comes in "Hey brother, what are you doing?" He asks as he takes a drink of his beer "I'm making Gemma some lunch thought I'd help her out" Bobby nods "Oh that's nice, man we are still invited to the wedding right?" Tig smiles smacking him on his shoulder "Of course we are man, it's at 3, but Gem wants us there a little earlier" Bobby replies Okay, well I'll gotta go help Jax for a bit" Bobby leaves as Tig continues making the lunch.
Back in Gemma's office she's sitting on the couch, eyes closed resting, she places a hand on her stomach as she feels familiar movement going on, she rubs her belly "Calm down, baby I know your nervous for today so am I, it's okay" Finally the movement calms down, but the baby is still moving, she smiles with her hand still on her stomach just then Tig comes into the office with her food and drink "Here you go, Gem" He sets the food and drink down on the desk she opens her eyes, Tig helps her from the couch and sits her down in the chair "Thanks sweetheart for the help and the lunch" Tig gives her hug and leaves on his motorcycle.
2:00pm
Gemma starts to eat her food, 30 minutes later she's finishes, she throws away the garbage, then walks back into the the office grabbing her purse and keys she heads back home to get ready for her wedding. She arrives home within a few minutes rushing into the house she calls out "Anyone home?" hearing her voice Nero walks to meet her "Hey Mama, so glad you're home" He says kissing her on the lips "Hey baby" She replies taking a deep breath, Nero pulls her to him holding her close, they stay that way for a few minutes when Gemma breaks the silence "Babe, do you know where you put our marriage licenses at?" Nero replies "Yeah, they are in our bedroom on the dresser don't worry I'll get them when we leave for the courthouse" Gemma breathes a sigh of relief "Thank you" Nero whispers "you're welcome, now why don't you go and take a nice warm bath and get ready" Gemma nods then he adds "I'll go get Lucius ready for our big day" He kisses her forehead leaving her alone with her thoughts.
Gemma walks through her bedroom and into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her she turns on the water testing it first making sure it's warm, but not too hot, she puts the plug in then takes off her clothes and steps into the tub carefully she sits down, puts a few drops of bubbles into the water and just relaxes for a few moments "mmmm!" She exclaims contently enjoying the warmth on her body. She slides her body to back of the tub sliding down further into the water when she hears a light knocking "Yeah?" She answers sitting up again "You okay, Mama?" It was Nero checking on her "Yeah, baby I'm fine" Nero replies "Okay, just checking" She replies back "I'll be out in a few minutes" With that Nero walks away from the bathroom to continue getting Lucius dressed.
2:30pm
Meanwhile in the bathroom Gemma has washed her hair and body, she's just relaxing a bit more before getting out of the tub moments later she gets out putting a towel around her naked body, she opens the door shivering a little as a draft in the bedroom gets to her under the towel, walking over to her closet she looks through her dresses to see which one looks the best to wear for her wedding, Nero comes into the bedroom wrapping his hands around her kissing her neck "Hey, you know this is a turn on you in just a towel" Gemma smiles turning in his arms "I know, but we can't do anything...yet" Nero smiles flirtatiously "Mama, you are such a tease" She let's go of him stating "You need to take a shower" Nero remarking with a smile "Yeah I know" He walks away to the bathroom closing the door, turning on the shower while Gemma continues looking for a dress after looking a few more minutes she finally spots a white spring dress that would work as a wedding dress "I just hope I can fit into this thing" She mumbles to herself.
She slips on the dress as she looks at herself in the mirror, the dress is a bit tight, but not too bad and it's still loose so she can breathe in it, then she looks for some comfortable shoes after a few minutes she finds some and slips them on her feet. Just then Nero opens the door with a towel around his waist smiling at the sight of his fianceé soon to be wife in her dress "You know it's bad luck to see the bride in her dress before the wedding" Gemma looks at him startled "Jesus Christ, you scared me!" She says placing her hand on her heart breathing heavily as he comes over to her cupping her face in his hands "You look beautiful, mi amor" Gemma kisses him softly whispering "Thank you, baby" She looks at him raising an eyebrow "I hope you're gonna get dressed soon because if you don't we aren't ever going to make it to the wedding" Nero chuckles "Mama, don't start" Gemma holds her hands up "Okay, okay"
Nero dries himself off, then gets his suit off it's hanger putting it on with his dress shoes. Gemma is in the bathroom brushing her teeth and her hair, she puts her hair up into a white clip tying it together since she doesn't have a veil to put on her head which she's doesn't mind, then she puts on her make up. Taking one last look in the mirror of her face "Well I guess I'm ready for my big day" She says to herself as the baby lets her know how she feels, she rubs her belly trying to calm her down "Baby, take it easy" She says looking at her stomach, Nero comes into the bathroom "Hey you okay?" She nods "Yeah, it's just our baby is restless right now" Nero placing his hand on her stomach the baby is moving and kicking like crazy "Whoa, baby girl, calm down" He says whispering to her stomach, he kisses her belly, the baby finally calms down "I think she loves your voice" She comments then adds "Either that or she's just listens to you more than me" Nero shakes his head "That's crazy, Mama she loves you too, you are her mother" Gemma looks at him asking "How do I look?" Nero stands there looking at her lovingly "You look gorgeous baby" She whispers "Thank you, is Lucius ready?" Nero nods "Yeah he is so is Kayla" Gemma walks into Lucius's bedroom she sees him all dressed in his little suit she smiles at the sight "Aw, you look so handsome, baby" Lucius smiles at her "Thank you, Gemma" She smiles "You're welcome, Sweetheart" She says walking over kissing him on his cheek.
2:45pm
Gemma announces "Is everyone ready to go?" Lucius and Kayla nod their heads as Gemma and Nero head out together first with Nero grabbing their licenses and the camera while Kayla grabs Lucius's hand following close behind, Gemma stops by the coat rack to get her purse she hands it Nero "Baby, hold onto this okay" Nero takes her purse from her, taking her keys out of her purse she picks up her dress holding it up as she walks out to her SUV with Nero, Lucius and Kayla following, they all get into the car putting on their seatbelts; Nero and Gemma in the driver and passenger seats while Lucius and Kayla sit in the back, Nero starts the car driving to the courthouse.

The family arrives at the courthouse in a few minutes, Gemma gets out of the car picking up her dress she looks around everyone is there: Wendy and Jax, Abel and Lucius and of course the guys "Hey everyone thanks for coming" Gemma announces kissing everyone on their cheeks everyone follows Gemma and Nero into the courthouse where the priest, Calvin Tyler is there waiting "Gemma and Nero?" He questions, they both nod "Shall we get started?" Again they nod as they stand together looking at each other handing hands and smiling. Gemma asks "Kayla, sweetheart do you mind taking photos?" She replies "No, I don't mind, Nero, did you put the camera in her purse?" She asks, Nero nods making eye contact with her replying "Yeah" As the wedding starts Kayla quickly takes out the camera from Gemma's purse.
"Dearly beloved we are gathered here to join Gemma and Nero in holy matrimony, commended to be honorable among all; and therefore not to be entered into lightly, but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly. The priest again continues "May I have the rings please?" Kayla hands the camera over to Wendy "Do you mind I have to help Lucius give the rings" Wendy smiles taking the camera to continue snapping photos. Kayla takes Lucius's hand into hers guiding him over to Gemma, Nero and the priest, the priest takes the rings from Lucius.
Clearing his throat Calvin turns to Gemma remarking put this ring on Nero's finger and say "I Gemma give you Nero this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you"
Now turning to Nero, he remarks "Now Nero put this ring on Gemma's finger and repeat the same words "I Nero give you Gemma this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you"
Calvin now faces everyone and announces "By the power vested in me by the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" Gemma and Nero kiss as everyone claps with smiles on their faces.
He adds exclaiming "I now present to you Mr. & Mrs. Padilla!" Everyone claps once again and cheers loudly as Gemma and Nero smile at each other, they kiss again, Gemma's emotional wiping tears from her eyes. The minster gives them their wedding certificate to sign, Nero grabs the certificates and they head out their car the just married sign is there already as Kayla continues to snap photos of the event, everyone is still cheering and happy, Lucius and Kayla head out with Gemma and Nero to the car Gemma turns to Kayla "Sweetheart, do you mind taking Lucius to your place for a bit?" Kayla smiles "Sure, I can I don't mind" Gemma and Nero kiss on her cheek "Thanks, we'll drop you guys off there" Kayla nods "Okay and I'll drop him back off with you two in the morning" Gemma looks at Nero he nods in agreement "That sounds good" They all get into the car together, Nero drives to Kayla's place dropping her and Lucius off there, the newlyweds finally arrive home a few minutes later, Gemma's exhausted, she walks into the house with Nero following her, he shuts the door behind him, He picks up Gemma gently carrying her into the bedroom "Aw, baby carrying me over the threshold" Nero puts her down on the bed "We're finally alone" He announces to her as she sits up on the bed removing her shoes from her feet "ooh!"
