A family tragedy abruptly changes the Bennet family's fate. Elizabeth and Jane are forced to find a way to help their mother and sisters. Unfortunately, the path to finding happiness will be full of obstacles they must overcome.

A succession of rain extends Jane and Lizzy’s stay at Netherfield. Bingley is delighted, Caro is not. Lizzy is frustrated. And Darcy? He likes to think he is indifferent. What if instead of walking away from Elizabeth after she rejected him, Darcy kissed her instead? Based off the 2005 movie. This is simply my adaptation of what could have happened instead. I don't own any of the characters, they all belong to the lovely Jane Austen.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh is often referred to as a dragon. What if there was an even bigger dragon willing to take her on. Enter Mrs Bennet's Aunt Isabella, who surprises everyone with her connections.

An unexpected twist of fate brings Mr. Darcy to a place he never imagined himself patronizing and where he once again crosses paths with Miss Elizabeth Bennet. She too had been brought here by an unforeseen and cruel twist of fate. Now they must strive to overcome the pain and taint of ruin to find happiness and a future in an unforgiving society who thrives on scandal.

We have had stories about Mrs. Bennet Sr, and other characters, but we have never had a story about Mrs. Gardiner the mother. Well now you have, except this isn't the Mrs. Gardiner from the book, this is a Mrs. Gardiner from a modern world. Explore my take on how P&P would turn out if Mrs. Bennet's mother had more influence on their lives. D&E HEA all others are up for grabs.

Darcy overhears Lizzy refuse Mr. Collins's proposal, but he overhears more: that Lizzy finds him repellent. He abandons Netherfield disllusioned. But, at Rosings a few months later, during Easter, he encounters Lizzy again. Can they find their way past themselves and into a new, shared life? Can it be done with Lady Catherine, Anne, and Mr. Collins all athwart their path?

Due to her family's troubled estate, Elizabeth takes it upon herself to alleviate the Bennet family's financial woes by seeking employment as a governess. With experience and charm working in her favour she is prepared for anything, but life proves to have a little more in store for her when she takes a position caring for Mr Darcy's children. A Fantasy Variation: Mr.Darcy needs to find a mate for his griffin, leave Netherfield, and fulfill his responsibilities. If he finds himself attracted to a lady of inferior birth it is only because his griffin is going into heat. It has nothing to do with her fine eyes or the liveliness of her mind. He can not be distracted. Not even if his griffin really likes her.

Mr. Bennet had been married twice in his lifetime. His first marriage was not of his own choosing, and it was an unhappy one. His second marriage brought him much happiness, and he was deeply devoted to his wife. When Mr. Bennet passed away, to Jane's surprise, he chose Elizabeth as the heiress of Longbourn.
