Bleach: Episode 4: Monster and a Transfer
(Rukia is still catching up to Chad and Yuichi but can't catch them.)
Rukia: Shoot! I can't catch them! It's because of this stupid Gigai! This is weaker than the average school girl! I'm out of breath already…
Hollow: You smell good!
(Rukia turns to see a Hollow beginning to attack her.)
Hollow: You smell like food! Time to eat your soul!
Rukia: Oh no! I've left my guard down while chasing after Chad.
(The Hollow then attacks Rukia, injuring her.)

(Cut to Ichigo taking Karin as she still talks about the parakeet.)
Karin: Just please help him, Ichigo! Tell him if he goes on the other side, he will be with his mother again…
Ichigo: Ok, Karin! I'll help him.
(Ichigo then brings Karin home and then goes back to look for Rukia.)
Ichigo: It's been a while since I saw Karin cry. Even before mom died, Karin and Yuzu were everyday crybabies. Now, Yuzu takes over mom's duties, like a grown up. Karin wasn't used to Yuzu's house duties so took care of herself. She never cried once until now. Even when she got beat up in 1st grade, getting chewed out for throwing a ball through the principal's window, or when she broke her leg on that field trip in 3rd grade. She never cried once. Don't worry, Karin… I'll make sure they're back together again.
(Cut back to Rukia as she is attacked by the Hollow and then kicks it and renounces some chant.)
Rukia: Lord… mask of blood and flesh, all things fly through the universe, that names everything. Truth and temperance… Slightly claw at the sinless wall of dreams! Hado #33! Sokatsui!
(Rukia attacks the Hollow with a blast from her hand.)
Rukia: I did it! My powers have returned!
(The Hollow then appears out of the smoke unharmed and attacks Rukia.)
Hollow: Heh… I know that spell from the Shinigami! That's who you really are?! You're very weak!
Rukia: I did the spell but it didn't affect the Hollow.
Hollow: Oh, this brings back memories! I've eaten two Shinigami who tried to take that boy to the Soul Society.
Rukia: The boy? You mean the soul in the parakeet? Why do you pursue him so relentlessly?
Hollow: Great question…
(Cut to Chad and Yuichi as they realize the "monster" is attacking Rukia.)
Chad: What's happening?
Yuichi: It's attacking the lady who was chasing her!
Chad: Stay here. I'm going to help her.
Yuichi: Don't go! It'll kill you! I'm worried about you, Chad! I don't want to be alone anymore! I just wanted my mother back! Please, don't go!
Chad: I'm sorry, Yuichi.
(Chad then runs off to help Rukia as Yuichi sits alone.)
(Cut back to Rukia as she's pinned against the wall by the Hollow.)
Hollow: You call yourself a Shinigami? How about you ditch that disguise and fight me for real?
(Chad then appears and punches the Hollow.)
Chad: I got him!
Rukia: He punched a Hollow?! Can he see it?
(Chad then punches the air, confusing both Rukia and the Hollow.)
Rukia: I don't think he can…
Hollow: That scared me for a second. But he can't see shit.
(Chad then punches the Hollow again.)
Chad: Got him again!
Rukia: It can't be! Normal humans can see, hear, or touch Hollows and Shinigami! He's attacking a deadly enemy that he can even recognize?!
(The Hollow then flies into the sky so Chad doesn't hit him.)
Hollow: Try to hit me, tough guy!
Rukia: Don't just stand there! He's in the air!
Chad: Rukia, you can see ghosts as well? Which direction is he in the air?
Rukia: What difference does it make to you? What can you…
(Chad then picks up an electric pole, shocking Rukia.)
Hollow: You have so many choices! I would come like a bird or… What the…
(It realizes what Chad is doing and Rukia tells him where to swing it.)
Chad: Which way?
Rukia: Right in front of you! Bring it down!
(Chad then swings it down on the Hollow, causing a power outage for most of the city.)
(Cut to Isshin and Karin watching Don Kanonji's Casual Soul Realm Assault Trip while trying to cheer her up.)
Isshin/Kanonji: BWAHAHAHA!
Isshin: Come on, Karin! I know laughing along can make you feel much better!
Karin: I know, Dad! But I don't have the strength to laugh right now!
Kanonji: Always remember. Spirits are forever with…
(The TV cuts out before he finishes his line.)
Isshin: No! I didn't see what happened next!
(Cut back to Chad and Rukia as they've managed to injure the Hollow.)
Rukia: Give up. A Shinigami will finish you soon.
Hollow: Heh… Are you curious about how I ate two Shinigami? That's why you two are about to be eaten!
(A few creatures appeared behind them and pinned them to the ground.)
Hollow: You Shinigami are so slow… You never even knew I had friends. Now who should eat first?! I'm saving you for dessert, girl…
(Chad then shrugs the creatures off him and punches the Hollow which he misses.)
Hollow: What the?! He can't even see me!
Rukia: Hey, Chad! Kick right above me!
(The Hollow then flies into the air a second time.)
Rukia: He's in the air again! Don't worry! I've got an idea!
Chad: Hey, Rukia… Are you sure you want to do this?
Rukia: We've got to combine your strength with my senses! Now throw me!
Chad: Where is it?
Rukia: Right there! At 1 o'clock! Launch me!
Hollow: He won't be swatting with telephone poles anymore… What the?!
Rukia: I told you to give up!
Hollow: Fine, I surrender! Just joking!
(One of the creatures then sprays some leeches onto Rukia, causing her to fall.)
Rukia: Ugh… Leeches? Get them off!
Hollow: Those are some special leeches! Once they're on you, they don't come off! Also they're my weapons!
(The Hollow makes a sound with his tongue, causing the leeches to explode, also injuring Rukia as well.)
Chad: Rukia! What happened?
Hollow: Those are bombs! They ignite when my tongue makes a noise! You Shinigami are pathetic! Hey, big guy. There's something I wanted to show you.
(One of the creatures has captured Yuichi, shocking Chad.)
Rukia: The parakeet!
Chad: Yuichi's birdcage… What's it doing here?
Yuichi: Sorry… He caught me.
Hollow: That's right! You're not as dumb as you look! Now it's your turn, Shinigami! Try to run from me! See if I can chase you down!
Rukia: Don't move, Chad! You move, he'll kill the parakeet!
Chad: But…
Rukia: Don't worry about me!
(Rukia then runs away as the Hollow starts to pursue her with one of the creatures spraying more leeches on her, wounding her even more.)
Hollow: Ha ha! Watching you run away while your blood dripping really gets me off!
(The Hollow then throws another creature with leeches at Rukia but misses.)
Hollow: How far are you gonna go?! You don't have to run anymore! You could go ahead and attack me! Shinigami?!
(Rukia then stops running.)
Hollow: So, you're giving up now. How boring.
Rukia: I'm not giving up. It's just that I have no reason to run now. You did say that I could attack. So I took your advice.
Hollow: Well, then! Try to attack me!
(The Hollow prepares to attack Rukia, only for him to be kicked by the surprise arrival of Ichigo.)
Rukia: Ichigo!
Ichigo: Look at yourself! You're all bloodied up! You said you weren't gonna take unnecessary risks!
Rukia: Shut up! They weren't unnecessary!
(Ichigo jumps off the Hollow's head as prepares to confront it.)
Ichigo: Name's Ichigo Kurosaki. Substitute Shinigami! If you want to play tag… then I'm "it."
Hollow: You!
(Cut to commercial: KEYWORD: Yasutora "Chad" Sado)
(After commercial: KEYWORD: Yuichi Shibata)
(Cut back to Ichigo confronting the Hollow.)
Hollow: So you're a Substitute Shinigami?! Your soul does smell good! When you two split up, I should've gone after you!
(He tries to attack Ichigo and Rukia but she escorts him out of his body on time. As the Hollow thinks they're dead but Ichigo jumps from behind him and slashes his shoulder.)
Hollow: Oh… So you're a real Shinigami!
Rukia: Be careful, Ichigo… Those leeches they spit out are bombs…
Ichigo: So that's why Chad wouldn't move. Asshole… You made Karin cry, terrorized my friends, and attack a defenseless woman. You're a four-star wanker.
Hollow: And this wanker is going to eat you.
(Cut to Chad running to Rukia, only to see Ichigo lying on the ground.)
Chad: Ichigo?! What happened?!
Rukia: You're just on time. Take the parakeet and hide it somewhere safe.
Chad: But, Rukia! What's wrong with Ichigo?
Rukia: No need to worry… Ichigo's just fighting the monster!
(Cut back to Ichigo fighting one of the creatures as he slices them in half before they can even attack.)
Hollow: Good idea! If they spit out leech bombs, kill them before they could spit. But you missed something! The ones that spill from their guts are still bombs!
(The leeches next to Ichigo explode right next to him as the Hollow makes a sound with his tongue.)
Hollow: Yes! Another Shinigami on the list!
(Then Ichigo emerges from the smoke unharmed, shocking the Hollow.)
Hollow: What the fuck?! How is he not injured at all?!
Ichigo: There's one thing I wanted to ask you. Did you kill the parents of the boy in the parakeet?!
(Cut back to Rukia as she realizes the parakeet was saying something.)
Rukia: What did you say, Yuichi?
Yuichi: It's all my fault that you and Chad got hurt. I'm sorry… I just wanted to bring my mommy back to life…
Chad: Yuichi…
Rukia: There's a way to do it?! Who told you that…
(Cut back to Ichigo and the Hollow as he reveals what he did to Yuichi's parents.)
Hollow: I did. I killed the little shit's mommy! About five years ago, I was a notorious serial killer. I've traveled around the world looking for the perfect victim. I've killed eight people. I was also
talked about on TV! I felt like a celebrity! The kid's mother… She was my final victim! I stabbed her multiple times and she kept running away trying to protect the kid. It was so beautiful that I get chills remembering it!
Ichigo: You fucking psychopath!
Hollow: I chased her onto the balcony and finished her off by slashing her throat. But the kid grabbed my shoelaces which caused me to lose my balance! It totally ruined my moment! Instead of me killing the kid, the kid killed me! So I decided to teach him a lesson! I sucked out his soul and put it inside the parakeet and made a deal with him! Run from me for three months! If he did, I'd bring his mommy back to life!
Ichigo: What do you mean by bringing her back to her?! Is that…
Hollow: Of course not! I just told him that so he could play! I got the pleasure to slaughter anyone who helps him! Then I told him! Mommy's counting on you to save her!
(Ichigo prepares to attack him but the Hollow blocks his sword as he then tries to attack him.)
Hollow: Pay attention, Shinigami! Your defense is useless!
(One of the creatures then sprays some leeches onto Ichigo's hand as the Hollow begins to ignite them.)
Hollow: Now they're on you! You're deader than ectoplasm!
(Before he could ignite it, Ichigo punches his hand into his mouth.)
Hollow: What the…
Ichigo: Here… You can have your friends back!
Aren't you gonna ignite them with your tongue?! If you won't use it, then that tongue is mine!
(Ichigo then rips out his tongue as the Hollow falls to the ground.)
Hollow: You son of a bitch! You ripped out my tongue!
(Ichigo then stabs his leg, causing him to scream in pain.)
Ichigo: Now you can't move or use your bombs. You're helpless. Feels bad, ain't it?! Just like your own victims felt!
(The Hollow then flies off, causing one of his legs to rip off to escape Ichigo.)
Ichigo: What makes you want to rip off your leg to escape your own fear! Don't forget… Drive that fear into your brain and disappear!
(Ichigo then slashes across his own face as something starts to emerge from the ground.)
Hollow: No! Please!
(The Hollow screams as a gate with two skeletons emerges from the ground.)
Ichigo: What the hell is that?!
Rukia: Hell. Remember, the Zanpakuto cleanses a soul of its crimes so it can enter the Soul Society. But not all of them make it. Ones who committed hideous crimes when they were still alive… We hand them over to Hell. Take a look! The gates are opening!
(The gates of Hell then open as it impales the Hollow and a Demon laughs as the gates close.)
(Cut to nighttime in Karakura Town.)
Rukia: I'm sorry, Yuichi. The Chain of Fate is gone. It's too late to go back into your own body… But don't worry! The Soul Society is a very nice place! It's way better than here!
Ichigo: If you go there, you might meet your mom again. We couldn't bring her back to life but when you go there. She'll be waiting for you! Let's start the Konso.
(Yuichi reverts to his human self as Ichigo starts the Konso.)
Yuichi: Thanks for everything, Chad! You saved me from that monster!
Chad: It was nothing. Hey, Yuichi… When I die and go over there… Can I run around with you one last time?
Yuichi: Sure!
Ichigo: All right! Are you ready?
(Ichigo performs the Konso as Yuichi ascends into the crescent moon.)
(Cut to Ichigo arriving home only to be kicked by Isshin.)
Ichigo: I'm home!
Isshin: You're late again! When will you remember the time to be home! It's already past midnight!
Ichigo: Yeah, I get that! I'm heading to bed! See ya!
Isshin: Also, your teacher, Ms. Ochi called me today saying you skipped class! When will you ever grow up!
(Cut to Yuzu and Karin's room as she thinks about the parakeet.)
Karin: Thanks Ichigo…
