Sacred Cash: I was originally planning on having Tatsuki, Keigo, and Mizuiro to the Karakura Team but I decided to have just Tatsuki instead. However, I just thought about adding the Karakuraizer storyline from the anime into this. But thanks for reminding me of that.

BLEACH Episode 9: Hero is Always With Me?
(After Kanonji has been dragged into the hospital by Ichigo, everyone wonders what had just happened.)
Announcer: What just happened? While battling another invisible entity, Don Kanonji suddenly got thrown through the air by a powerful force and dragged into the hospital! Then the glass door shattered! Could this mean that… an invisible entity has captured Don Kanonji?!
(Meanwhile, Isshin wonders if Yuzu and Karin didn't get cut by the broken glass.)
Isshin: Yuzu! Karin! You okay?! Did the glass cut you?!
Yuzu: Dad…
Isshin: Don't worry about me… If I die for my little girls… …I'll die a happy man.
(As Isshin lays on the ground, Yuzu looks for Ichigo.)
Yuzu: Hey! Is Ichigo all right?! Ichigo?! Where are you?!
(Karin, along with Orihime, Tatsuki, and Chad expresses concern for Ichigo as they look into the glass that he and Kanonji ran into, all while Kisuke watches.)
Karin: Ichigo…?
Kisuke: I knew it… that's how you fight. It's incredible, but terrible at the same time. So what would you do now?

(In the abandoned hospital, Ichigo and Kanonji continue to run, as Kanonji argues with Ichigo.)
Kanonji: Why are you running, boy?! Let me go!
Ichigo: Didn't you tell me to run?!
Kanonji: Of course I told you to run! But not with me! I can't run away!
(Ichigo then throws Kanonji across the hallway and asks why Kanonji wants to run away.)
Ichigo: That does it! You keep saying "I can't run away!" What the hell does that mean?! How can I run away but not you?! Explain yourself!
Kanonji: I'll throw the same question back to you, boy…
Ichigo: Well, I'm the one asking the questions now!
Kanonji: Fine then.
Ichigo: You might have a reason for saying something like that. Why can't you run away?
Kanonji: Well… That's because… I am a hero!
(Kanonji starts to explain why he considers himself a hero.)
Kanonji: By nature, I am a man who despises conflict… I am also a hero, so I can't turn my back against my enemy, even in the face of death! Boy… Do you know what the ratings of my show are?
Ichigo: Huh?! Well, I wish I didn't…
Kanonji: 25%! 1 out of every 4 citizens watches it! And… most of my viewers… are children. Every week when my show is on, their eyes are fixed to the tv… watching my heroics after having dinner with their family… To them, I am a hero… Those children were inspired by my heroic acts… By watching me fight against evil spirits… They learn what courage is! Do you understand? I can't run from the enemy… not with the children watching! Because if I do run away, those children will see me as weak and I would feel betrayed by them!
Ichigo: Kanonji…
(Despite Ichigo feeling bad for Kanonji, Kanonji decides that he should go back outside to fight the Demi-Hollow.)
Kanonji: All right then! Now that you understand, let's hurry back to the war-zone and fight that monster!
Ichigo: What?! Are you crazy! We're not doing that!
Kanonji: Why not? I can't fight here, where there's no audience and TV cameras!
Ichigo: If we fight near the audience, a lot of people will be hurt! That isn't something a hero should do! Doesn't a hero protect his fans? Also, that thing is called a Hollow. It devours souls with high levels of spiritual pressure. It's drawn to the souls of people like you and me! That Hollow will follow our energy into this hospital! And if we fight here, nobody but us can get hurt!
Kanonji: Boy… You thought all of that while you fought against those monsters. That's amazing.
Ichigo: I know. I thought you needed to understand something before you did something stupid.
Kanonji: You're very brave, boy. Now, then… Let's fight that monster till our last breath!
Ichigo: Hey, wait a minute… You think we walk out without knowing where that monster is-
(Suddenly, the ground underneath Ichigo and Kanonji rises as the Demi-Hollow bursts out from below them and tries to attack them.)
Demi-Hollow: GRUAHHH!
Ichigo: Here it comes! Come at me… What the?
(Due to the small hallway, Ichigo's Zanpakuto gets stuck to the ceiling.)
Ichigo: S-Shit! The hallway is too small… I can't use my Zanpakuto here! How did I not think of that?!
(The Demi-Hollow then uses Sticker Phlegm to bind Ichigo's hand to his Zanpakuto.)
Ichigo: Whaa?! Gross! W-What is this gunk?! It won't come off! I'm as good as dead!
Demi-Hollow: GRAAAR!
Ichigo: Alright… C'mon! I'll just kick you to death!
(The Demi-Hollow rushes towards Ichigo but Kanonji uses his Super Spirit Stick to stop it.)
Kanonji: Are you hurt, boy?
Ichigo: Kanonji! Get out of here! You can't even beat a Hollow!
Kanonji: I know. I might have a little bit of power… I'll make a point to judge my enemies very carefully. But you can see, boy… I was deeply moved by your selfless act… Nobody will ever know it but you fight, knowing the safety of the public in your mind… Your struggle is very worthy of being called a hero! Allow me to call you comrade!
Ichigo: Um… No thanks…
Kanonji: Now, comrade… As my final act… Let me fall like a leaf in the autumn protecting you! OOOOOO!
Ichigo: W-What are you doing, Kanonji?!
(Blue energy starts to form on Kanonji's hand.)
Kanonji: KANONJI-STYLE FINAL SUPER ATTACK! KANNONBALL!
Ichigo: W-What is that? You think you can defeat a Hollow with that?
(Kanonji then points his Kannonball at Ichigo.)
Ichigo: Huh? What do you think you're…
Kanonji: DESTROY!
(Kanonji's Kanonball flies up to Ichigo's Zanpakuto, where it explodes, freeing Ichigo's Zanpakuto.)
Ichigo: It's free! Not bad, Kanonji! Now leave the rest to me!
Demi-Hollow: GRUAHHHH!
Kanonji: Unh… It's all in your hands, comrade… I'm exhausted… Good luck in your battle… You are forever my friend!
(Ichigo rushes towards the Demi-Hollow and stabs through its shoulder with his Zanpakuto.)
Ichigo: Damn it! I can't cut open its head with my hands glued together!
Demi-Hollow: GRAAHHH!
Ichigo: W-Wait! Hey! WHOOOA!
(The Demi-Hollow crashes outside along with Ichigo and goes to the rooftop, as Kanonji watches on.)
Kanonji: C-Comrade?! Where are you going?! Please don't leave me!
(Kanonji then sees a helicopter with his TV crew in it as they notice him.)
Announcer: It's Mr. Kanonji! Don Kanonji has emerged from the explosion and smoke! He appears to be yelling something! Wait a minute… Don Kanonji is on his feet!
Kanonji: Damn you, evil spirit! You fled to the roof beyond my reach! I will make sure you won't escape me! Cut to commercial! Hurry! You must make it to the roof!
(Meanwhile on the rooftop, the Demi-Hollow throws Ichigo off of him, as it tries to attack him but fails.)
Ichigo: I'm way stronger than you think! That place was way too small, besides… I had to protect Kanonji, so I couldn't fight against you! But since he's not here, you're about as good as dead!
Kanonji: Sorry to keep you waiting, comrade!
Ichigo: He's here!
Kanonji: What the?!
Demi-Hollow: GRAAR!
Kanonji: Run, Kanonji!
(The Demi-Hollow tries to attack Kanonji but Ichigo blocks its attack with his Zanpakuto, causing the Demi-Hollow to crash into a railway and its mask cracking.)
Ichigo: Sorry… It's all over.
(Ichigo slashes through the Demi-Hollow's mask with his Zanpakuto, as Kanonji begins to celebrate his victory.)
Kanonji: He did it! You're a wonderful comrade! I knew you could do it! Well done! You defeated him with the power of justice you got from me! You are definitely my h-
Ichigo: Kanonji… You shouldn't celebrate too early.
Kanonji: Wh-Why, comrade?! What are you saying?! You defeated the monster?! Why aren't you happy?!
(As the Demi-Hollow's body and mask crumbles, Kanonji is shocked to see the Jibakurei that he cleansed.)
Kanonji: No… It can't be… I cleansed that man's soul!
Ichigo: I told you… It's not a monster. It's called a "Hollow." Some souls have chains that are attached to them… When the chains are torn from them, a hole is left in their chest. Then they become irrational monsters… Hollows.
Kanonji: The hole in their chests… But… I thought… By opening the hole and breaking the chains, I was freeing them… That means… Everything I've done…
Ichigo: I don't understand why, but the souls that exploded in front of you didn't become Hollows… This time was different… You didn't know anything about Hollows back then, did you? I'm not saying you did anything wrong, but feeling bad now doesn't fix anything.
Kanonji: But.. I… I was foolish, selfish, weak… I've truly let my fans down…
(Ichigo then hears the sounds of cheering and clapping.)
Ichigo: Hey… No more crying… Hero. Your fans are waving to you.
(Kanonji is surprised to see his fans waving at him, among them are Ichigo's friends and family.)
Ichigo: What are you waiting for… Wave to them… That's what a hero does, right?
Kanonji: BOHAHAHA!
Kanonji's Fans: BOHAHAHA!
Kanonji: Comrade… Thank you,,, It was an excellent fight… I honor you for your courage, your quick-thinking, and your strength. Please keep lending me your help.
Ichigo: Well… Sometimes…
Kanonji: Thank you… From this day forward… You highly announce you to be my… No. 1 disciple!

Ichigo: WHAT?!
Hero is Always with Me?
(Cut to commercial: KEYWORD: DON KANONJI'S FAN CLUB)
(Return from commercial: KEYWORD: KANNONBALL)
(The next day, Ichigo and Rukia, along with Orihime, Chad, Tatsuki, Keigo, and Mizuiro are assembled by their sports coach, Kagine, in the principal's office for last night's event.)
Kagine: This is completely unbelievable! Do you guys know what you've done?! Look at this! This was broadcasted live nationally! On a TV show shot in our town in front of thousands of people! Well? What do you have to say for yourself, Mr. Kurosaki?
Ichigo: Well… He… Looks a lot like… Me.
Kagine: That is you, you idiot! You know how much embarrassment you've brought on this school with your little televised stunt?
(Tatsuki then asks why she and Orihime are in trouble.)
Tatsuki: Um… Mr. Kagine?
Kagine: What, Ms. Arisawa?
Tatsuki: Ichigo and Rukia were the ones on TV, so I understand why they're in trouble, but why is Orihime and I here?!
Kagine: You two were with them, weren't you?!
Tatsuki: Actually! We bumped into Rukia on our way there. We basically had nothing to do with this!
Keigo: That's not true! I invited you and Orihime!
Tatsuki: Don't believe him. He's delusional.
Ichigo: Tatsuki, you're just trying to save your own ass.
Tatsuki: That's what happened! We'll be going back to class now! Let's go, Orihime!
Keigo: Okay, t-then I'm coming with you!
(Keigo tries to go with them but is stopped by Kagine.)
Kagine: Not you!
Keigo: Why not?! I was only with Ichigo!
Kagine: It's because you were with him! You didn't even bother to stop Mr. Kurosaki, so you are to blame!
Keigo: But what about Mizuiro and Chad?! They were also with me! I even had to stop Chad from attacking the security guards to save Ichigo! You know what, there should've been a detention for teachers in this freaking school!
Kagine: Oh, you just wait until your sister hears about this!
(Before the argument between Keigo and Kagine could escalate, Rukia speaks out.)
Rukia: I apologize… All of this started because I wasn't able to stop Ichigo… I was the closest to Ichigo… When he jumped in, I tried to stop him. I even yell at him, which is not like me at all. But… He wouldn't listen…
Kagine: Oh… Uh! Don't cry, Ms. Kuchiki! You didn't do anything wrong! All right! It was all Mr. Kurosaki's fault! Okay?!
Rukia: Yes, sir… I don't care about what happens to Ichigo, I'm just worried about me…
(As Ichigo, Keigo, Chad, and Mizuiro try to escape but Kagine notices it and they start to run even faster.)
Kagine: Hey! Wait, you idiots! You know what will happen if you run away like that?! I'll suspend you! Suspen-...
(Kagine turns around and notices Rukia not being there as well.)
Kagine: Ms. Kuchiki, too?! Ms. Ochi! You were the one nearest to the window! Why didn't you stop them?!
Ochi: Well… There was only a fuss over the TV broadcast, I don't think your scolding was necessary…
Kagine: Principal!
Principal: Can I make a copy of this? I want to send it to my grandchild that a student from his school got on TV!
Kagine: I CAN'T BELIEVE ANY OF THIS!
(Meanwhile, Ichigo and his friends are walking down the stairs, talking about the aftermath.)
Keigo: Whew! We made an awesome escape and all lived happily ever after. And it was thanks to Rukia!
Rukia: Oh… It wasn't much, really…
Ichigo: Don't applaud her, idiot. She was trying to sell me out.
Tatsuki: Well, if it wasn't for Rukia's acting, you wouldn't be able to escape…
Rukia: Right. I was only acting! I would never try to sell out my good friend, Ichigo.
Tatsuki: Well, that's a shame. If they were to get mad at me, I should have done something hilarious on camera, too. Then I'll show off my sweet singing voice and maybe be scouted to be a singer!
Keigo: We all know that won't happen. Besides, the announcer would talk over you just like he did Ichigo, so your voice wouldn't be heard.
Tatsuki: Oh man!
Keigo: Hey, Ichigo, you were unlucky being in that area.
Ichigo: Yeah, that's true. That's not something to joke about! If anyone found out I called Rukia by her first name, I don't even wanna know the rumors that'll go around! I really owe that announcer guy!
(Orihime looks at Ichigo, Rukia, and then at her friends as she thinks about the previous night.)
Orihime: I didn't realize at that time. The events of that night and the lasting image of that time… would change all of our lives forever.
(As Ichigo and friends continue, someone in their classroom watches them from above.)
(Meanwhile, a stylish pink car is driving around Karakura Town but makes a stop in front of the Kurosaki Clinic as bodyguards let someone out.)
Ichigo: Hello. Sorry, on Thursdays, we're closed in the afternoo-... Huh?
(The person is revealed to be Don Kanonji as he invites Ichigo out for a ride.)
Kanonji: I've come to invite you for a special ride, my Number One pupil!
(Ichigo then closes the door and locks it so he doesn't come in, shocking Kanonji.)
Kanonji: Why did you lock the door, my Number One pupil?!
Ichigo: Isn't it obvious?! How did you know where I live?! You stalker! Go back where you come from!
Kanonji: That's rude! I'm a superstar now… I thought it would cheer you up for me to come visit you in private.
Ichigo: In private?! You're wearing those flashy clothes!
Kanonji: But… This is my plainest suit I have…
Ichigo: As expected from a superstar…
Kanonji: I even invited your friend…
Rukia: Look, Ichigo! He bought all of these top-quality bean paste sweets from Hotei's store.
Ichigo: I see now… She was the one that told him where I lived.
(Yuzu then comes in to tell Ichigo to quiet down.)
Yuzu: Ichigo! Can you quiet dow-?!
(Yuzu then sees her idol, Don Kanonji at the door.)
Yuzu: KYAAAHHH! Mr. Don Kanonji! I-I-I-I'm such a huge fan!
Kanonji: Oh! Really! You're such a sweet fan!
(Suddenly, Rukia gets a Hollow alert.)
Rukia: It's a Hollow. Let's go.
Ichigo: Sure. Let's go anywhere but here.
(Rukia uses her Gokon Tekko to get Ichigo out of his body.)
Kanonji: Hey! Where are you going, my Number One pupil?! Don't leave me! Come back!
(Karin then looks outside to tell them to shut up.)
Karin: Geez, you guys are so loud… What are they yelling about?
(Karin then sees Ichigo and Rukia running off.)
Karin: Ichigo…
Ichigo: Jeez, I always thought about Hollows not appearing, but… Today, it appeared to have saved my life, to be honest.
Rukia: Hey! Don't even ask for it! If you let your guard down like that, we won't know what will happen!
Ichigo: Yeah, yeah. Sorry, Ms. I'm Happy I Got Free Top-Quality Bean Paste Sweets Kuchiki.
Rukia: Ichigo!
(As they run off to defeat the Hollow, a boy with glasses watches them from behind.)
