Challenge Awaits Red Hat
A/N: This took far too long. Had to constantly edit this chapter so it can make sense to some extent, but I was not happy how the begining turned out. You might notice some details are missing. Well hope the rest turned out well for all of you. Before some people ask. Im using Problem Solving Card Text for the cards cause I can't stand the old school text of older cards. Also Im not gonna do the setting monsters face up like the anime cause it's pointless and it loses any surprise factor if any at all of course. There are some gags in this chapter but they arent exactly funny.
Saturday
Time 10pm
Red Hat was currently at the docks near the Lighthouse, just feeling the cool breeze. While Red Hat was there he had a lot on his mind. 'No matter how many different duelists I duel, its always the same result.' Red Hat sighed as he felt tired not by lack of sleep, but rathered lack of challenge. 'While Jaden offers good challenge dueling only him would feel wrong as If I had to only duel Jaden to get any challenge then this Academy is a complete bust.' Red Hat thought.
He didnt want to constantly only duel Jaden and he wanted to give him some space as he shouldn't always be around him or trying to always be there for him. Red Hat has been shown Jaden can take care of himself and doesnt really need his help, despite how so many things Jaden does, tends to go wrong. 'Maybe its because Jaden is my only true friend and I want to help him in anyway I can. I never did have any real friends and those from the past abandoned me.' Red Hat sighed for a moment. 'Guess thats a curse for being such a powerful duelist at such a young age.' Red Hat does not like remembering his past and constantly tries to bury it but is unable to at times.
After some troubling days that have been going on at the school. Red Hat returned to just dueling as many opponents as possible. More often then not he would get annoyed or just laugh at so many weak duelists. Often Red Hat would either win on the first turn but just completely shut down many opponents plays with very minumun effort. He only ever used his notorious FTK decks against someone he really hated which wasnt often and even then it was always an Obelisk Blue.'Is it too much to ask for a good challenge wihout being viewed as a psychotic for playing powerful cards. Not like the game evolves after some time and lder strats become outdated.'
After some time someone came by. Or rather two people. "Well looks like someone is sure having a good time."
Red Hat turn around to see Alexis and someone else with her. It was an Obelisk Blue. Red Hat would normally scowl when he sees an Obelisk Blue but he notice it was the same guy that appeared that day when Bastion dueled Chazz. Red Hat assumed he must be a good guy, as Alexis wouldnt hang with him otherwise.
"What makes you say that?" Red Hat asked. Even though he was sure he knew where this was going.
"Well considering you're here and not back at your dorm should say something." Alexis pointed out.
"I decided to give Jaden some space. Dueling him can only get me so far." Red Hat explained himself to Alexis.
"The way you're doing things makes it seem that way. After that fiasco the other day, many would think you're being very agressive when you duel. Jaden once got himself into a position where he was facing explusion yet he was able to pull through against all odds." Alexis stated.
That statment got Red Hat's attention. "Hold on, you're saying Jaden got into such a predicament, and he pulled trough?" Red Hat couldn't help but chuckle. "Jaden your something else. Guess I really shouldn't be worried about him."
That's when Zane decided to speak up but while looking indifferent. "With all due respect, any reason why you go out of your way to help Jaden? Jaden isnt the type that needs help."
Red Hat sighed at this question. "Jaden is my only true friend I had since I came here. I just like hanging out with him and look out for him if necessary." Red Hat left out a lot of things.
"Hanging out and looking after friends is one thing. But constantly dueling aggressively at the students with your skills isnt doing you any good." Zane then glared at Red Hat. "Mind telling us why you cause such a ruckus at the Academy. You're already branded as a trouble maker by many of the staff and teachers. Is this because of Jaden or is it out of your maliceion."
"Like I have any reason to tell you." Red Hat responded.
Zane did not like his answer. "So are you just gonna duel anyone with such aggression to anyone you dont like. I've been observing some of your duels. You duel out of spite, you have such a lack of respect for your opponents that aren't Jaden, and you lack discipline. For what reason? Is this your way of dueling?"
"I dont need a lecture from any of you." Red Hat was about to leave until Alexis stopped him.
"You once said you wanted a challenge, well Zane here beat Jaden as well. You dont have to constantly force duels just so you can find what you consider a worthy opponent." Alexis stated. This again caught Red Hats attention.
"Is that all? You want a challenge from a strong opponent that you consider worthy? You know there are better ways to go about it." Zane pointed out. This time having an indifferent look.
"Considering you beat Jaden, that means you're very powerful. Im aready interested into dueling you." Red Hat said.
"That may be but, not now. There's some things I need to clear up first before we duel. Even then there's still some conditions I want you to fulfill, but Ill explain that tomorrow. Same place in the evening." Zane explained.
Red Hat just chuckled at that. "Well then tomorrow it is then. Ill be looking forward to our duel." Red Hat now leaves the docks leaving Alexis and Zane alone.
"So what do you think about him Zane?" Alexis asked.
"He's wild, has an attitude, and lacks respect. His skills though aren't something to take lightly if he goes that far." Zane answered.
"Red Hat is a no nonsense guy when it comes to dueling but often very rough and aggressive. He gets disapointed when they dont offer much or meet his expectations." Alexis explained.
"Duelist of that caliber are becoming quite rare these days. Although in his case he comes of as a rouge duelist. He has no style and has strategies that mimic the pros. He treats his cards as tools. He has no inspiration." Zane then had a thought. "The way he was talking. It was like he knows a lot yet by experiance hes unable to find worthy opponents. At least in his eyes."
"So, got any ideas on how to give him a worthy duel and not get him angry or disapointed? He doesnt necessarily want to keep dueling Jaden." Alexis asked.
"We'll see how good his skills are tomorrow. Although you may find the condition I place quite interesting." Zane stated to Alexis.
"Really now, I hope its nothing to major." Alexis hoped whatever Zane planned for tomorrow isnt too much.
For some time Zane and Alexis stood the near the Lighthouse through out the night until it was time for them to head back.
Sunday
Time 10am
Red Hat slept in once again although he couldnt sleep well last night. The thought of Red Hat finally being able to get a good challenge got him excited. Something he hasnt felt in a long time besides dueling Jaden. 'So today, Ill be able to duel Zane. Since he beat Jaden no doubt he's powerful.' Red Hat was then having some thoughts on what he mentioned 'Condition. Not sure what he means, but Im sure he's testing me. No matter, if I have to show him how powerful I am to duel him then he must not think too highly of me. Not that I care what he thinks.' Red Hat then gets up and heads for the Cafeteria.
Once he got there, he found Jaden Syrus and Chumley who were just finishing up breakfast. "Hey Red Hat, come here and join us. Breakfast may almost be over but I save you a bowl." Jaden called out to Red Hat.
"Jaden you've eaten 3 bowls of rice already how much more do you intend to eat." Syrus asked.
Red Hat chuckled at their interaction. "It's Jaden, Syrus. Need you say more." Red Hat then sat down next to Jaden and began to eat breakfast.
"So, Red Hat got any plans for today?" Jaden asked. "Was thinking of heading to the card shop for some new cards and even dueling each other."
Red Hat smiled at that. "Well maybe the card shop can do me some good. Well you guys wont believe what happen to me last night when I was at the docks."
"Wait did something something happen last night Red Hat? Hope it was good." Syrus asked
"Well fill us in and tells what happened Red Hat?" Chumley aslo asked.
"Well then last night when I was at the docks. Alexis and Zane showed up. After a bit Zane wants to duel me but after full filling a condition. Since Zane is very powerful, this will be an exciting match." Red Hat explained.
Jaden coughed out a bit of food, While Syrus and Chumley sat their completely stunned. Syrus was the most shocked. "Wait your dueling Zane later today? Red Hat I dont think this is a good idea." Syrus said.
Red Hat raised an eye brow at that. "And Why is that Syrus. Strong opponents is what I strive for. For those to push me to my limits."
Jaden then spoke up. "Well thats one way of putting. Zane is tough, but so are you Red Hat. Not sure what condition he placed but show Zane what your made of Red Hat."
Red Hat then smiled at Jaden. "I certainly will. I wont hold back, and Ill show him how powerful I am."
"You got guts, Ill give you that much. No one is ever this excited to face The Zane, but this is you Red Hat." Chumley said.
"Somehow I get the feeling this is bad." Syrus sighed at all of this
As the the gang was finishing up eating breakfast they left the dorm and headed for the card shop.
Time 12pm
As the gang made their way to the card and Chumley sat down at nearby table, while Red Hat and Jaden headed for the counter to purchase some card packs. There was also a nearby stand to buy sandwhiches when its not Sandwich day.
"Want anything packs in particualar Jaden? Maybe even full boxes?" Red Hat asked him.
"If its not too much trouble Red Hat. I dont usually buy packs all that often. I rather spend it on Sandwiches when its not Sandwich day." Jaden said. "Usually I buy packs when something new comes up."
"Eh, its no big deal. I dont buy packs often myself but with so much Duel Points may as well buy more stuff. Its not like Im gonna use them for anything else." Red Hat pointed out. Not really bothered by spending so much. "Besides with how many decks I build with a bunch of copies of powerful cards I already have its more so to get more copies of cards I may want to get. Prefer that over constantly swaping."
"Well then in that case, lets buy a few boxes and plenty of packs." Jaden declared.
Soon the counter girl Sadie approached them. "What can I do for you boys?" she asked. Though she did her best to hide glaring at Red Hat. 'Him again, I shouldnt really be mad at him, but he causes a lot of trouble even though he doesnt mean to.' she thought. 'I shouldnt let it bother me. He doesnt really cause harm to anyone so I should ignore this.'
"Got any new boxes or any packs in various boxes." Red Hat asked.
"Some new boxes just came up and some boxes are older ones that have been restocked." Sadie explained.
"A few of those new boxes thank you, and while you are at it some of those restocked boxes as well. Could come in handy." Red Hat requested.
Sadie raised an eye brow at that. "Alright then." She hands over the boxes of packs Red Hat requested. "That will be 10000 duel points please."
Red Hat hands over his PDA and gives her the necessary amounts. Sadie's eye twitches a bit at what she was seeing. 'Over 100,000 Duel Points? This guy was barely here for a couple of months and has this many duel points already? Just how much does he duel. Oh who am I kidding a guy with this much dueling caliber wouldnt have this much otherwise. Doesnt matter though I really shouldn't pay this much attention to such meaningless things.'
"Well here you go. Thank you, come again." Sadie said before Red Hat and Jaden went to where Syrus and Chummley were sitting.
"Well guys we got plenty of boxes of packs here. Say lets open them up shawl we." Jaden said as he and Red Hat placed their purchased packs on the table
"Woah thats a lot of boxes." Syrus was shocked at how many there was.
"No kidding this must of cost a lot." Chumley said.
Red Hat chuckled at that. "It cost me 10000 DP but look at how much I have here." Red Hat shows them his PDA to see the amount of DP he has.
"Wha... Thats isnase just how much DP you have Red Hat." Syrus said
"Yeah no kidding. You been dueling so much you've gotten this many DP. Most of it was from dueling the Obelisk Blue." Chumley said as he was shocked just as much as Syrus.
"Even if I dont use them all that often besides buying sandwiches on non sandwich days." Red Hat pointed out. "Well then lets open them all up and see what we get."
The gang soon started opening pack after pack. Often most cards they would pull are meaning less or kinda meh. Sometimes they would pull something amazing every now and then.
"Another Solemn Judgement, neat could use more of these." Red Hat said.
"Pay Half your life points, isnt that a bit excessive of a cost?" Syrus asked.
Red Hat got annoyed by that. "Not really, Well timed can make a huge difference. Also Life Points dont actually mean anything all things considered. 1 life point is more then enough to stay in the duel."
"If you say so. I certainly dont like wasting half my life points for a card." Chumley stated, which only made Red Hat mentally deadpan. 'I dont mean use it constantly but rather time it right especially if my opponent used so much for a summon or negate key cards.' Red Hat thought.
"Hey check this card out. Burst Impact. Burtinatrix just got a boost." Jaden said as he showed them the card he pulled.
"Dark Hole when you have Burtinatrix, It can be a brick but its usefull. Still if you dont have a Dark Hole thats a decent option." Red Hat explained.
"Woah guess what I just pulled. I pulled Thunder Nyan Nyan." Syrus declared. "I think I found my card crush."
Red Hat just raised an eyebrow at that. "But why though, other then eye candy it has no purpose and doesnt work with your deck."
"Hey dont you disrespect her like that." Syrus shouted back. This got Red Hat annoyed.
"Shes just a card, 1900 attack isnt that special her effect contradicts your deck and you arent running Skill Drain to keep her on the field. At that point just run Gemini Elf." Red Hat explained to Syrus.
"You dont have to be so rough when it comes to cards. Not everyone plays strongs cards. Some folks just want to have fun or duel with what they have." Chumley stated. This only annoyed Red Hat further but made no comment.
"My play style is control or destruction effects. Beatdown is the last thing I build unless its an OTK deck. Even then I run a lot of traps and destruction cards. Not saying its an outright terrible card but, theres much better options really." Red Hat reminded them.
"You sure get uptight when dueling Red Hat. I know you take this seriously but at least have fun. Dueling is ment to be fun." Jaden said.
"Maybe I should calm down and not get so rough. After all later today I'll be dueling Zane, though not sure what conditions he's gonna place." Red Hat wondered.
"I still say its a bad idea Red Hat. My big bro is undefeated. He's really strong." Syrus said.
"That's the mentality of coward. A true duelist should always strive to get better with dueling strong opponents. Constantly dueling weaker opponents is meaningless." Red Hat said, annoyed by Syrus's attitude. "Say, how about we head back to the dorm and open the rest of the packs we have then lets check the dock in the evening." Red Hat suggested.
"Im down with that. Can't wait to see you duel Zane." Jaden said.
"Well then lets head back to the dorm and open the rest" Red Hat declared.
The group cleaned up the table they were sitting next to and packed the rest of the boxes and packs they didnt open yet, and headed back to the dorm.
Time: 2pm
The gang went back to their room, with Red Hat going in to their room to continue opening packs.
"Lets see what else we can pull from these packs." Jaden says and continues to open more packs.
As they open Red Hat pulled some more cards he had a liking to. "Anti-Spell Fragrance very good floodgate. Shuts down spells hard. Last Turn, who thought printing this card is a good idea." Red Hat says, utterly baffled by card he obtained.
"No kidding with that card you can potentially tie games." Jaden points out. But not realizing there's a twist.
"Uh, not quite Jaden there's a certain card that auto wins you the game if Last Turn is played." Red Hat corrected him. In that same time Red Hat showed Jaden, Jowgen the Spiritualist card. "With this card, your opponent can not special summon. So its an auto win everytime."
"Man you really know all your stuff Red Hat. How do you know such about all of this?" Jaden asked him.
"When you dueled so much and constantly get stronger and stronger as a kid. You tend to pick up on a lot of tricks and disgusting combos with broken cards." Red Hat explained to Jaden. Of course leaving out some information.
"That explains a lot. You know so much where your average duelist wouldn't even know all these tips and tricks." Chumley stated.
"I learn a lot from experiance and testing as a kid. So its only natural I learned a lot since then." Red Hat said to them. "That aside lets open up more packs."
As they continued to open packs most cards they pulled were underwhelming or it didnt fit their decks. "I just got not only Jetroid but also Magic Cylinder. With this I can surprise the opponent with some damage." Syurs said.
Red Hat raised an eye brow at that. 'Unless your opponent is mentally incapaciated, they are not falling for that trick. Then again most Obelisk Blues are idiots so what do I know.' He thought.
Red Hat meanwhile has pulled various floodgates. "Limit Area B and Gravity Bind. Stall cards usually in burn decks. Not really my style." Red Hat mentioned.
"Lets keep pulling until time passes long enough, until its time for the duel." The gang kept opening more packs.
Red Hat pulled another card, and he smiled at it. "My My a card this strong already."
"What did you get?" Jaden asked only peek at the card Red Hat pulled. "System Down. Never heard of it must be new."
"Its new alright also very power card, but I'll save this too good not to keep." Red Hat said as he put away the card.
"I just got Des Wombat. Now this is a card I can keep." Chumley stated.
'Australian themed eh? Not like it matters.' Red Hat thought.
"Nice No entry this should to protect my monsters." Syrus said causing Red Hat to meantally deadpan. 'This is gonna take a while.' Red Hat thought.
After some card packs later, some good cards appeared while other times not so much. Over time while all of them where discusing cards and combos with each other soon it was becoming somewhat late in the evening. Red Hat went back to his room to get a couple of decks as he was sure he was gonna need them. Son the gang headed for the docks with Red Hat to see what is going to happen over there.
Time 6pm
Jaden and Red Hat made it to the docks in the evening with Chumley and Syrus following behind them. Once they got there they found Zane but there also stood Alexis and Bastion.
"Hey check it out its Alexis and Bastion." Jaden pointed out as they got close.
"If I had to guess you two are here for a reason?" Red Hat asked.
"Actually I want to know to as well." Bastion said, wondering why he was called. "You see I was busy crafting some formulas until Alexis knocked at my door and told me to come here with her under the request of Zane." he explained. "Not sure why Zane requested us to come here, but Im guessing it has to do with you Red Hat."
"Something tells me Zane has prepared something for you and me." Red Hat suspected. As he wondered there can't be any other reason why Zane would ask Alexis to go and pick Bastion from his room.
Zane now decided to speak up. "I set this up for you Red Hat. If you want to duel me, the condition is as follows you must beat both Alexis and Bastion in a duel." This surprised everyone except Red Hat and Alexis.
"Wait is that why I was called here? I havent even perfect my formulas yet to counter Red Hat's strategies." Bastion said
"Sweetness, Red Hat you'll be dueling more then just Zane today. Say lets team up Red Hat and duel these two." Jaden suggested only for Zane to decline that.
"Wrong Jaden. Red Hat will be dueling both Bastion and Alexis alone. This isnt a triangle duel either. Its 2 vs 1 duel." Zane explained to them.
"Aint that a bit much Zane?" Jaden asked.
Zane gave a small smile but quickly retracted. "If Red Hat is a good as he says he is, then he will be fine. Alexis and Bastion will give him such a time dueling."
Red Hat could back his excitment for this. "If thats all then lets do this. Been looking for a challenge." Red Hat then readies his duel disk.
Zane held back from chuckling. "There's your answer Jaden."
"Hold on Red Hat you're going through with is." Syrus called out only for Red Hat to ignore him.
"Looks like someone is ready for a challenge. Dont expect this to be easy." Alexis says, as she readies her duel disk.
"I may have not finished my formulas on how to counter your strategies Red Hat, but I'll do my best to figure them out." Bastion said, as he readies his duel disk. "Ill choose my water deck for this match."
"Fine by me lets do this. Lets duel." Red Hat declares.
"Show them what your made of Red Hat." Jaden cheers Red Hat on.
Duel
Alexis & Bastion: 8000 LP
Red Hat: 8000 LP
"I'll let you go first Red Hat." Alexis said.
"Fine by me. Its go time. I draw!"
Hand 6
"I play the spell card Painful Choice. I pick 5 cards in my deck you pick one of them and Ill add it to my hand, then I send the rest to the graveyard." Red Hat takes 5 cards from his deck soon projection show them what cards he shown. "Well choose wisely Alexis." What is shown is Dandylion, Treeborn Frog, Jinzo, Torrentrial Tribute, and Ring of Destruction.
Alexis was thinking through the choices. 'Clever, no matter what choice I pick he will get advantage in one way or another. Need to choice wisely.' Alexis thought, trying to guess which card would give him the least advantage.
"I chose Dandylion." Alexis declared. Red Hat meanwhile looked indifferent.
"Fine by me, Ill add Dandylion to my hand and the rest go to the grave." Red Hat sends the rest of the cards to the grave. "Okay Ill set a monster, then Ill set a facedown and end my turn."
Hand 4
"That all fine. My turn I draw." Alexis draws
Hand 6
"Heres Cyber Tutu in attack mode. (Atk: 1000 Def: 800) Im well aware what you tend to set. Cyber Tutu attack his facedown monster. Pounding Pirouette." Alexis commands as Cyber Tutu twirls and attacks the facedown revieling to be Dandylion.
"Since you destoryed Dandylion his effect activates. If he is sent to the graveyard by any means I get two Fluff Tokens.(Atk: 0 Def: 0)" Red Hat explains as two fluff tokens appeared on his side.
"Ill set a facedown and end my turn."
Hand 4
"Alright My turn I draw." Red Hat draws
Hand 5
"First I activate my facedown MST to destroy your facedown!" The Typhoon of winds destroy Alexis facedown.
"Argh, should have known."
"Since its still the standby phase I can special summon Treeborn Frog from my grave. (Atk: 100 Def: 100)" An unimpressive frog with a halo on its head, floats back to the field. "Now I tribute my Treeborn frog to summon Zaborg The Thunder Monarch! (Atk: 2400 Def: 1000)"
"Monarchs? So you switched around you deck before the match didn't you." Bastion was surprised, not realizing Red Hat never uses one play style.
Red Hat just shugged at Bastion's comment. "I use multiple decks and styles kinda like you Bastion only the focus isnt attributes." Red Hat stated. 'Lets be real Bastion attibute only decks are not good in the slightest. More often then not they tend to fall in the same category of beatdown with very minor support.' He thought.
"Zaborg effect. When its tribute summoned he can destroy a monster on the field. So Cyber Tutu, gets destroyed!" Zaborg fired a blast of thunder destroying Cyber Tutu. "Thats just the effect. Zaborg attack Alexis directly. Voltic thunder!" Zaborg shot an ord of thunder at Alexis zapping her apoun impact.
Alexis & Bastion: 8000 - 5600 LP
"Alright Red Hat has taken the lead." Jaden cheered.
"He's doing pretty well against them both." Syrus commented.
"If he keeps this up he'll win in no time." Chumley said.
Zane stood there quietly observing Red Hat. 'Not bad, but can you keep it up.'
Red Hat ignored his spectators and continued with the duel. "Ill set a facedown and end my turn."
Hand 3
"I wont fall behind. Its my turn. I draw." Bastion draws.
Hand 6
"I summon Tribe-Infecting Virus! (Atk: 1600 Def: 1000). This card will now be spreadin a virus to your monsters. By discarding a card I declare a type of monster then its destroyed. I chose plant so your fluff tokens are destroyed. Virus Shot!" Tribe-Infecting Virus fired multiple shots infecting the fluff tokens and destroying them. "Thats not all I discard one more card. I chose Thunder. So Zaborg also gets destroyed!" Tribe-Infecting Virus fired another shot of toxins at Zaborg destroying it in the process. "You're wide open. Go attack him directly virus blast!" The monster fired a large orb of sludge hitting Red Hat head on.
Red Hat: 8000 - 6400 LP
"Impressive Bastion" Red Hat commented. Impressded someone actually ran removal that isnt battle. 'Granted, Jaden also has some but, he tends to be more flashy so often he makes a lot of mistakes.' he thought.
"Im glad you're impressed Red Hat, Ill set a facedown and end my turn." Bastion ends his turn. 'Lightning Vortex would have done the job just as well but sadly dont have it in my hand. Better safe then sorry.' Bastion thought.
Hand 2
"Alright My turn. I draw." Red Hat draws
Hand 4
"Okay I play Pot of Greed. I draw 2 cards." Red Hat took a better look at his hands. 'Should be careful Bastion has removal though Alexis doesnt seem to be trying. This could work.' he thought. "I set a Monster and end my turn.
Hand 4
"Rough break. Think Red Hat has a bad hand?" Jaden asked. Seeing Red Hat unable to do more.
"I hope he knows what he is doing." Syrus said
"Not Licious." Chumely mentioned.
Zane however was watch all of this in silence. 'He has a facedown and hasnt activated it yet. He's waiting for something.'
"Is that all? Fine by me my turn I draw!" Alexis draws.
Hand 5
"I play the spell Reinforcement of the Army. With this I can add a lvl 4 or lower warrior monster from my deck to my hand. and I chose Etoile Cyber." Alexis says as she adds one of her cards.
Red Hat was amused by this. "A searcher not bad, guess you're doing something right." he said which only annoyed Alexis.
"Just what's that supposed to mean? I need to have some ways of searching my monsters." Alexis points out glaring at Red Hat.
"Funny since I got here anyone that plays warrior decks never have searching power. Always just unreliable beatdown and relying to much on top decking. Dont even get me started on draw power." Red Hat explains to them only adding to his amusment.
"Why dont you leave your comparisons until after the duel. Some of us have much higher standards at dueling." Alexis says getting angry at what Red Hat was saying.
"Then show me what you got then Alexis." Red Hat taunts. 'So far only Bastion has shown to do anything impressive in this duel.'
"Fine. I'll play Polymerization. I fuse Etoile Cyber and Blade Skater in my hand to form Cyber Blader! (Atk: 2100 Def: 600)"
"Go Trap. Bottomless Trap Hole! Since you summoned a monster with more then 1500 atk your monster is banished.
"What!" Alexis gasped. A deep hole that seem to go forever opened up between Cyber Blader's feet and fell in. The hole closed afterwards. "You'll pay for that."
Red Hat smirked at her reaction. "Whats the matter. Cant help I banished your best monster." Red Hat began mocking her only angering her further.
"Dont get too confident. I play The Warrior Returning Alive to add back back my Etoile Cyber to my hand. Now I play Fusion Recovery to add back Blade Skater and Polymerization." Alexis says as she adds back her cards from the grave. "Now lets try this again. I play Polymerization to fuse Etoile Cyber and Blade Skater to summon a second Cyber Blader." Her ace monster gracfully returns to the field.
Red Hat held back a chuckle. "My my, at least you had the decency to run more then one copy of your boss monster." Red Hat pointed as every other duelist he dueled tend to use only one copy and very often had no win condition if it was destroyed or banished.
Alexis however looked annoyed at his remark. "Hey Im gonna always need a back up that's why you run more copies." she explained. Though Red Hat just shrugged at her comment. This only seemed to annoy her more. "Now I see what you're doing. You are purposely holding back arent you. That or you are trying to set up on us." Alexis acused him of holding back on purpose just to mock her.
"Attack me and you'll find out." Red Hat dared her to attack. 'Ill have enough resources to finish you and Bastion off. Sorry Bastion you wont have a next turn.'
"Fine! Tribe-Infecting Virus attack his facedown monster." The monster fires a orb of sludge and toxins the monster revieled to be Magician of Faith. (Atk: 300 Def: 400)
"Magician of Faith effect. I add a spell from my grave back to my hand and I chose Pot of Greed." Red Hat said.
"Fine by me. Cyber Blader attack Red Hat directy Whirlwind Rage!" Cyber Blader twirls at high speeds and attacks Red Hat directly.

"Man thats gotta hurt." Chumley stated.
"This isnt looking good. Red Hat is taking a lot of hits." Syrus said.
"Dont count Red Hat out yet guys. Im sure he's gonna turn this duel around." Jaden said
Zane was still watching with indifference. 'If draws what he needs with all the resouces he has then this duel is over.' Zane believed.
"Alright enough of this. My turn I draw." Red Hat draws.

"Since its my standby phase Treeborn Frog comes back." Treeborn Frog returns to the field. "Now I play Pot of Greed I draw 2 cards. I play Monster Reborn to bring back Jinzo I sent there a couple turns ago. (Atk: 2400 Def: 1500)" The Cyborg monster returns to the field.
"You realize now that you have two monsters Cyber Blader's attack points double. (Atk: 4200 Def: 600)" Alexis points out.
"Like I care I play Brain Control I pay 800 LP and I take control of your Cyber Blader." Red Hat retorts.
Red Hat: 4300 - 3500 LP
"What! Oh no!" Alexis gasped seeing her ace get stolen.
"Now I tribute both your Cyber Blader and my Treeborn Frog and summon. Dark Magician of Chaos! (Atk: 2800 Def: 2600) Now his effect since he was summoned I get a spell from my grave so I choose Pot of Greed. So Ill activate it again." As Red Hat drew his cards he smirked.
"Something tells me we are in trouble Alexis. That smile of his is a give away." Bastion pointed out and becoming worried.
"Now I play Graceful Charity I draw 3 then discard 2. *Discards Spirit Reaper and Granmarg the Earth Monarch* I banish Spirit Reaper and Magician of Faith to special summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Begining!" The mighty Chaos warrior appears ready to battle.
"This is it. We have no defence. My trap doesnt work its over." Bastion said, accepting defeat.
"This duel is over Jinzo destroy Tribe-Infecting Virus Cyber Energy Shock!" Jinzo fires electric orb blasting away Tribe-Infecting Virus.

"Now Black Luster Soldier and Dark Magician of Chaos end this duel!" Dark Magician of Chaos uses his septer to fire a dark enery orb while Black Luster Soldier charges in and slashes both Alexis and Bastion.

"Yeah way to go Red Hat!" Jaden cheered.
"Way to play Red Hat." Syrus also cheered.
"Totally what I would have done." Chumley added, Red Hat just sweat dropped at that comment.
"Well we lost. This duel was tough, is all I can say." Alexis said
"Thats, what happens when I play recklessly." Bastion commented. "Guess I have to rework my stategies."
"Well Im sure you'll come up with something Bastion. I'll look forward to our single match another day." Red Hat replies to Bastion.
Alexis scowled as Red Hat completely ignored her. "Well next time it wont be as easy. You can count on that." Alexis tried to retort.
"We'll see about that Alexis." Red Hat states.
Zane was watching the whole fiasco play out. If he was amused then he didnt show it. 'Wild and carefree after dueling folks you consider worthy, and when you hang with Jaden. Serious and no nonsense when dueling your opponents. You still lack respect.' Zane thought still not pleased with the latter. 'Least you are trying to be respectful.'
"Well then you proved you can handle a two vs one duel from tough opponents. Let's just hope that duel wasnt just luck." Zane tells Red Hat, now wanting to see Red Hat's skills as a duelist.
Red Hat just shrugged. "Sometimes I can brick depending what deck I play. More often then not I rarely lose more then half of my life points when its not paying cost for cards." Red Hat explained to Zane.
Zane looked at him indifferently. "Well prepare yourself, as soon as your done. You will duel me, and see how well you stand up to me."
Red Hat begins chuckling in excitment. "Im looking forward to the duel. I'll just fix up my deck a bit and then we can get started." Red Hat states before returning to Jaden Syrus and Chumley.
"Nice going Red Hat! You beat Alexis and Bastion. Those two are tough are duelist." Jaden explains "I should know I dueled Alexis before, Bastion is also really strong. Though I yet to duel him ever since his duel with Chazz."
Red Hat sweatdropped at that. 'Alexis used her entire hand for an underwelming monster. Bastion at least had removal, though he got a bit impacient.' he thought back to the duel. 'Looking back Bastion didnt have much of a choice. Im lucky to even draw key cards despite deck thining.'
"The duel was challenging to say the least. Thanks Jaden." Red Hat said. "I should rework my deck to prepare for Zane."
"Right get ready Red Hat. Zane is tough. Even I couldnt beat him." Jaden reminded him.
"Red Hat, please reconsider. Zane is undefeated." Syrus begged. Red Hat scofted at him.
"Please there is no such thing as an unbeatable duelist." Red Hat stated. "A true duelist should inspire to become stronger and face stronger opponents. Your mentality is the way of a coward." Red Hat snapped at Syrus.
Syrus backed off and remained quiet so he doesnt anger Red Hat further. "Uh sorry about that." Syrus replied.
"Hey man, I know you're excited to duel Zane but you dont have to snap at Syrus. He's just worried is all."
Red Hat shrugged but this went unnoticed by Jaden. "I just like to voice the truth out loud no matter how one takes it. Just how I am. I dont sugar coat things Jaden." Red Hat blatanly points out. Completeing ignoring the distain Syrus had after that comment.
"At least chill out man. I get you want to take this seriously, but dont be so harsh."
"I'll keep that in mind." Red Hat reminded Jaden, while keeping his disdain for Syrus attitude. Well then time to prepare.
Red Hat got out a couple of decks he brought. Swamping cards around to sww what will be most optimal to use. 'If Zane is really tough I'll need destruction negation and snatching. He may have cards that prevent targeting so I should be careful with targeting cards' Red Hat was thinking while swaping cards and changing his deck around.
After some time preparing after the duel. Red Hat was finally ready to take on Zane. Red Hat being excited to duel a strong opponent was understatment. "Its finally time to duel you. Time to duel." Red Hat readies his duel disk.
Zane stares stoticly at Red Hat. "Let's see if you can keep up. Don't disapoint me." Zane declares as he readies his duel disk.
Red Hat chuckles a bit. "Don't worry I won't disapoint. If somehow I do then I must be doing something wrong." Red Hat sarcastically says, though Zane didnt catch it. 'Im not sure what your expectations are, but I dont care. I'll show you Im also very powerful. Not just you.'

"I summon Sangan in attack mode. (Atk: 1000 Def: 600) I set a two cards facedown and end my turn." Red Hat fisnished his turn. 'Wish I had crush card but this will have to do.'

"Thats all huh, alrght then. My turn, I draw!"

"Here's Cyber Dragon! (Atk: 2100 Def: 1600)" A serpentine-dragon with a metallic body rose from the ground and curled up behind Zane. This summon surprised Red Hat.
"Cyber Dragon? I've been reading about the so called Cyber Style. Its a powerful style that can end the duel in one turn. So you have such a power style then." Red Hat now smiles as this duel was gonna get interesting. "Well this is more like it. A tough fight That either I overcome or fail but I at least I go out with a bang." Red Hat now was getting syched
Everyone one else especally Syrus were stunned at how excited Red Hat was, and how he knew about the Cyber Style as it was never shown or told to the public much.
"So you are fully aware of this style. I can special summon Cyber Dragon since you control a monster and I control none. Now I summon Cyber Phoenix in attack mode. (Atk: 1200 Def: 1600) Im well aware you run a lot of cards that target. Cyber Phoenix prevents you from targeting my machine monsters with Spells and Traps." Zane explains much to Red Hat's distain.
'My snatch spells and some traps I have target so I need to destroy it by non-targeting cards as by battle will just give him resources.' Red Hat thought to himself. Trying to come up with a viable strategy.
"Battle. Cyber Dragon attack his Sangan. Strident Blast!" Cyber Dragon let out a stream of fire destroying Sangan.
Red Hat: 8000 - 6900 LP
"Sangan's effect since he was sent to the graveyard I get to add a monster with 1500 or less attack. I chose Tukuyomi!" Red Hat said as he added said card.
"You are wide open Cyber Phoenix attack him directly!" The cybernetic phoenix began to to fire a its flames at Red Hat.
"Go Quickplay Scapegoat! I get 4 sheep tokens! (Atk: 0 Def: 0)" Red Hat announces, as four sheep tokens materialize to his field.
"Stalling disapointing. Cyber Phoenix destory one of his tokens!" Cyber Phoenix redirects its attack to one of the tokens and destorying it.
"Next I'll play the continous spell Future Fusion! Heres how it works I take fusion material monsters from my deck, send them to the graveyard then in two turns I can summon a fusion monster. I send two Cyber Dragons to the graveyard so in two turns Cyber Twin Dragon will show up." Zane explained.
'I need removal quick. Cant let him get advantage.' Red Hat thought.
"My turn is done. Your move Red Hat." Zane said

"Man, Red Hat is gonna be in some trouble if Zane keeps this up." Jaden commented.
"No kidding Zane even mention he changed his deck around slightly as he is aware what Red Hat is prone to playing." Alexis pointed out.
"I'll say, there is no straight forward formula to beat Zane at the moment. He's reather undredicable. Red Hat has his work cut out for him." Bastion mentioned.
'I tried to warn him Zane is good. But Red Hat kept on insisting.' Syrus thought worriedly.
"Alright then my turn. I draw!"

"Nice. First I play Pot of Greed, so I draw two cards." Red Hat draw then smirks. "Nice, Now play the spell Metamorphosis! I tribute a monster on my field then I get to summmon a fusion monster of that same level. So I tribute a sheep Token which is level 1 to special summon this, Come out Thousand Eyes Restrict! (Atk: 0 Def:0)" The monster summoned looked similar to Relinquished, its body had a purple color and tons of small eyes around its body. Thousand Eyes appearance caused a reaction to many of the spectators.
"What is that thing?" Syrus asked, shocked and digusted at the sight of Thousand Eyes.
"One big disgusting monster thats for sure Sy." Chumley answered.
"It's not to big a surprise, considering what Red Hat tends to play." Bastion commented.
"This duel just got interesting. Keep at it Red Hat." Jaden cheered.
"Thousand Eyes effect I can target a monster you control and equip it to him. Since Cyber Phoenix cant stop monster effects Thousands Eyes absorbs your Cyber Dragon!" Thousands Eyes opens all of its eyes and then began to absorb Cyber Dragon. "Thousand Eyes also gains Cyber Dragons attack and defense points. (Atk: 0-2100 Def: 0-1600) Not only that no other monsters can attack except Thousand Eyes. Thousand Eyes destory Cyber Phoenix!" Thousand Eyes charges and fires a lazer from its eye using Cyber Dragons power destroying Cyber Phoneix.

"Since you destroyed Cyber Phoenix in battle I get to draw 1 card." Zane stated as he drew.
"Yeah I get the point. I'll set another facedown and end my turn." Red Hat ended his turn. 'Thats all I can do for now until I can counter attack his plays.'

"Very well then. My turn, I draw."

"Im not going to waste my time dealing with stalling. Heres the spell card Dark Hole! So all monsters on the field are destroyed!" Zane said catching Red Hat off gaurd by a bit. A vortex appeared around the field absorbing all monsters and destroying them.
'Dang, I knew he was gonna have at least some form of removal, but to think he have that card.' Red Hat that and then began to chuckle. 'Zane is that tough. This is what I strive for.'
"Aw man Red Hat now has no defense. He's wide open." Syrus pointed out. Much to Red Hat's annoyance
"Not licious" Chumely commented.
"Dont count him out yet. Red Hat still has a couple of facedowns." Jaden commented.
'I hope you what you are doing. Zane will be disapointed if fall this easily Red Hat.' Alexis thought.
"Now I summon Reflect Bounder in attack mode. (Atk: 1700 Def: 1000)"
"Go trap Ring of Destruction to destory it and we both take burn damage equal to its attack points." Red Hat annouces his facedown.

"Way to go Red Hat." Jaden cheered.
"This duel has a long way to go dont jinx him Jaden." Bastion reminded him.
"Trying to way me down I see. I set a facedown and end my turn." Zane ended his turn.

"Alright. I play Graceful charity. I draw 3 then I discard 2 *discards Jinzo and Magician of Faith.* Now I summon Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer attack mode. (Atk: 1800 Def: 700) Alright Ghost Destoryer attack him directly!"
"Go Trap card. Metal Reflect Slime! Now you cant attack as this card summons itself in defense mode with 3000 defense points. (Atk 0 Def: 3000)" A slime of liquid metal appeared on the the field stopping Kycoo from attacking.
"Argh, fine then I place 2 more cards facedown and end my turn." Red Hat ended his turn. 'I hope this work Ive been doing nothing but relying on traps and distruption. This isnt my style.'

"Its been 2 rounds so now Cyber Twin Dragon emerge! (Atk: 2800 Def: 2100)"
"Go Trap! Bottomless Trap Hole! Your Cyber Twin Dragon is banished!" A hole appears under Cyber Twin Dragon, however.
"Nice try go quick play Defusion! This splits my Twin Dragon into 2 sperate Cyber Dragons." Cyber Twin Dragon now splited into 2 seperate Cyber Dragons dodgeing Bottomless Trap Hole. "Since your target isnt there, your trap fails."
'Man he's countering my plays. This is what I was expecting.' Red Hat began chuckling lightly.
"Now I play Pot of Greed, so I draw 2 cards. I summon Proto Cyber Dragon! (Atk: 1100 Def: 600) Proto Cyber Dragon while on the field, its name is treated as Cyber Dragon. Now I play Polymerization, I fuse My three Cyber Dragons to form The Cyber End Dragon! (Atk: 4000 Def: 2800)"
"Go trap Torrentrial Tribute. All monsters on the field are destroyed!" As Red Hat's trap acticate a blast destroys all monsters on the field.
"Your attempts are futile. I play Monster Reborn. With this Cyber End Dragon returns to the field." The three headed cybernetic dragon returns to the field, much to Red Hat's distain.
"Cyber End Dragon attack Red Hat directly with Super Strident Blaze!" The Cybernetic shot a beam of energy from its three heads blasting Red Hat. Red Hat stood his ground.
Red Hat: 5200 - 1200 LP
"Oh man Red Hat is almost out of life points. I knew he souldnt have challenged Zane." Syrus reminded them.
"This is not looking good." Chumley commented.
"Red Hat may still have a chance I just know it." Jaden reassured them.
"You are close to defeat so hope you got something planned Red Hat." Zane stated dryly.

"I'll figure out something Boku no Turn! Draw!" as Red Hat drew, it was something he almost never thought he use.

"I play the Spell Card System Down! With this card I pay 1000 LP to banish all your Machine Monsters on the field and in your graveyard so no set up. Also your Cyber End Dragon is banished!" Soon a Giant Tower appeared on the the field creating a powerful shockwave and crumblig causing Cyber End Dragon to malfunction and causing it to be destroyed while all the machines in Zane's graveyard were ejected.
Red Hat: 1200 - 200 LP
"You have a card that powerful in your deck?" Zane asked. Shocked that someone had such a card.
"I'll admit putting this card in my deck with no prior knowlage that my opponent was playing machines is very reckless as If I wasnt dueling someone thats playing machines, its a dead card. But when it resolves its destructive when its pulled off." Red Hat explained.
"No joke, since that card banishes all of Zanes monsters in the grave and on the field. Now he has no recovery." Bastion pointed out.
'Nice going, but can you last? You are almost out of Life Points.' Alexis thought.
'I cant believe it, Red Hat may actually win.' Syrus thought.
"Not much else I can do I set a Monster and set a facedown and end my turn." Red Hat ended his turn. 'This is intence. Its been so long since Ive been pushed this far.'

"Here's another Cyber Phoenix. (Atk: 1200 Def: 1600) I'm well aware what your facedown monster is. I wont attack it. I end my turn." Zane said ending his turn.

"Wait why didnt Zane attack?" Syrus asked.
"If you been watching closely Red Hat's facedown monster is Tsukuyomi. Which has higher defense points. Plus its a spirit monster so Red Hat cant afford to summon it or flip it face up." Bastion explained to Syrus.
"Red Hat is in a tight spot with how little life points he has so he cant afford to make any mistakes." Alexis pointed out.
"My turn I draw." Red Hat draws

"I summon another Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer. (Atk: 1800 Def: 700) Now attack his Cyber Phoenix!" Kycoo charges at Cyber Phoenix and destroys the machine.

"Cyber Phoenix effect I get to draw another card. You realize you are taking a huge risk." Zane said dryly.
"Yeah I know. I end my turn here." Red Hat ends his turn.

"Alright then Kycoo attack him directly." Kycoo attacks Zane only to be interrupted again...
"Go trap card Metal Reflect Slime. This trap once again summons itself to the field and stops your attack.(Atk: 0 Def: 3000)"
"Kycoo stop your attack. Alright, I tribute Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer and my facedown Tsukuyomi to summon Dark Magician of Chaos! (Atk: 2800 Def: 2600) His effect I get a spell back from the grave. I chose Pot of Greed. So I'll activate it again to draw 2 more cards." Red Hat draws and slightly smiles. 'I hope this works.' he thought. "I'll end my turn with that."

"Man is Red Hat bricking that hard?" Jaden asked.
"Not good. Red Hat cant keep this up much longer." Syrus said in defeat.
"Not licious. Plus his monster cant beat over that thing." Chumely commented.
Bastion however was observing more carefully. 'Red Hat has a facedown he has set since the begining of the duel and hasnt activated it yet. What is he waiting for? Not only that he has another facedown. Are they duds? Or is he waiting for the right moment?' Bastion thought curious on what Red Hat is planning.
"Enough of this my turn I draw!"

"I play the Spell Metamorphosis I tribute Metal Reflect Slime to summon a fusion monster equal to its level. Since it was lvl 10 guess who comes back. Here's another Cyber End Dragon! (Ak: 4000 Def: 2800)" The three headed cybernetic dragon reemerges on to the field.
"Oh man here it comes." Syrus says as he looks away.
Red Hat just smiles. "Go Counter Trap!" Red declares surprising everyone. "Solemn Judgement! I pay half my life points your summoning is negated!" A ray of holy light blasted Cyber End Dragon and destroying it.
Red Hat: 200 - 100 LP
"You planned for this didnt you." Zane asks Red Hat.
"Needed a safe counter when the time was right. Looks like I timed it well." Red Hat answers.
"Nice work. I'll play the quick play spell Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your other facedown card." As the Typhoon approached Red Hat's facedown Red Hat was ready.
"I'll chain it, go Call of the Haunted! With this I bring back Jinzo in my grave." The cybernetic cyborg emerges onto the field. While the typhoon destroys the Call of the Haunted. Jinzo remained on the field.
"Wait shouldnt Jinzo also be destroyed since Call of the Haunted was destroyed? Or you know not come to the field in the first place?" Jaden asked in confusion.
"There's a slight ruling with that Jaden. When you activate a card in a chain it resolves backwards so Call of the Haunted resolves first. Lastly, since Jinzo was on the field he negated Call of the Haunted. Since Call of the Haunted was negated by Jinzo, Jinzo doesnt get destroyed by Call of the Haunted since the effect was negated so Jinzo sticks around." Red Hat explains, not only to Jaden, but also the rest of his spectators. "Another example if I were to chain it to bring back Dandylion if it was in my grave. Dandylion will comeback, Call of the Haunted would destroy him, and since it would be sent to the grave I would get two fluff tokens." Red Hat explains another example.
"This is making my head spin." Syrus complained.
"This is a lot to take in." Chumely commented.
"Red Hat you now how to abuse loop holes and rulings dont you." Bastion said.
Alexis remaided silent about all of this. 'Just how much do you know Red Hat?'
Red Hat scofted at them. 'You guys literally dont know about this. These tactics arent new. They have been around for quite some time now.'
Zane smiled at this. "So you planned ahead, despite some set backs you made a comeback despite the odds. I'll say that's impressive."
Red Hat chuckled a this. "I never allow myself to get pushed around by anyone. You're tough Zane, best duel I had in a long time. Even more so then Jaden."
"You planned ahead, you play your cards well. For someone so wild and lack of respect to most of his opponents you are quite the duelist Red Hat. I end my turn." Zane said as he ended his turn.

'Zane gives props to someone other then Jaden. No one else has managed that.' Syrus thought.
"Alright its my turn I draw."

"Alright Its time to end this match. Jinzo and Dark Magician of Chaos attack Zane directly." Both monster fire blast of energy directly hitting him dead on reducing his life points.
Zane: 4800 - 2000 - 0 LP
Despite Red Hat winning, he had to crouch for a bit feeling a bit exhausted by dueling 3 tough opponents in one evening but was satisfied at the results.
"I cant believe it Red Hat did it." Syus said, shocked at what he just whitnessed.
"This is so unbelieveable." Chumley commented.
"Red Hat you are awesome!" Jaden cheered.
Soon Red Hat gets backed up and walked next to Zane. "Despite me winning the duel its not my syle to acknowlage this acomplishment of a duel." Red Hat continued. "After this match lets all pretend it didnt happen." Red Hat smiled. "Best match I had in a long time, was pushed to my limits, and had to do more. With all that in mind. I dont want to acknowlage this duel or your defeat. I have to much respect for you for that. Plus I rather be in peace alone with my buds."
Zane simply smiled a bit. "You are reckless, and you are wild. If it wasnt for your attitude, this would have been an honorable match. Because of that, this felt more like taming a wild beast then dueling a worthy opponent." Red Hat chuckled at that comment.
"Taming this wild beast isnt gonna be easy. Well after today I'll try not to go too wild but no promises." Red Hat runs up next to Jaden. "Jaden lets leave and head back to the dorm." Red Hat now takes off with Jaden right behind him.
"Hey man dont you want to acknowlagement your acomplishment at beating the big man on campus?" Jaden asked him.
"Naw Jaden, that isnt my style. I just want to duel strong opponents, while not getting recognition for accomplishments. Im the type that hates the spot light." Red Hat replied.
"Whatever you say. Anyone else would love the fact that they beat Zane." Jaden said
Red Hat chuckled at that. "That may be but Im not one of those people arent I" he continued. "Say Jaden race you back to the Slifer Dorm's dinner?" Red Hat sugessted.
"Your on Red Hat. I'll get there first!" Jaden declared as he and Red Hat took off.
As Jaden and Red Hat took off, Syrus and Chumley tried to keep up.
"Wait Up!"
"Aw, Not running."
Soon the Slifer gang takes off back to the dorn for the dinner. The others just looks at them for a bit.
"I should head back too. As much excitement as this was, I need to get back." Bastion said as he also walked back to his dorm leaving just Zane and Alexis alone at the Light House.
"So what do you think Zane?" Alexis asked.
"Jaden keeps Red Hat in check is all I got to say." Zane replied dryly.
"Thats true at the very least." Alexis sighed. "He's quite rude and very aggressive to others, but is all calm when he's around Jaden."
"Which is why, Red Hat made the correct choice in staying close and becoming friends with Jaden. Otherwise things would be much different." Zane exlained. "He's wild without any restraint."
"I just hope after this duel Red Hat finally calms down." Alexis said.
"He'll change in due time. It's up to him to though." Zane stated.
Both of them stayed at the light house for while longer enjoying the breeze of the night near the ocean.
A/N: This took to long as had to come up with believeable ways for the duels to go by. Before some start asking, Im using Tag Force decks as refrence not only the anime. So dont get confused if characters like Zane play Metal Reflect Slime or Bastion playing Tribe Infecting Virus as it is in his water deck profile in Tag Force 1. Also since the anime has no ban list Im free to use banned cards. Thoguh I'll be using Traditional Format as to prevent myself from playing 3 copies of powerful cards. System Down was released in 2005. It's a special card in Tag Force 1, remember Im using cards in the time period of GX so some cards wont appear until much later. No modern cards or anime cards. Very few anime effects will remain such as Bubbleman but thats more so for convience. I do not like using anime cards or anime effects at all. So do not expect anime cards. Next time we are now doing an Ultra Remix of the Blair episode cant wait to start that and she will be staying for quite a while so look forward to that. (Assuming some of you even care about that XD)
