Amnael's Endgame
A/N: If you clicked on skip to latest chapter. Go back a chapter as I uploaded two capters on the same day. You might think this is dumb, but uploading them seperately at different times was unacceptable to me. Anyway this chapter was also an experement and inspired by someone else. Hope this meets up to standard.
TLDR: This will be the last chapter to use the time clock from Tag Force 1 and the day of the week. At this point it's getting redundant and theres almost no point to it as we're closing to finishing the season 1.
Chazz's eyes stirred a bit befre they opened, and when he was fully awake he found himself inside an oddly colored bubble. "Where am I?"When he looked around, he noticed some more bubbles. He noticed someone inside one that was closest to him. "Who is that?" After a moment, he got a clear vision on this person. It was someone who was laying down, and Chazz recognized her instantly. "Alexis?"
He glanced at the other bubble and recognized another person iside it. "Atticus? What the... Where on earth am I?" At thet moment, his attention was dragged ito a bright light from the side. He turned to find the source, but was really shocked. Directly ahead of him, was the planet Earth itself. It sat there in the void of space as Chazz watched from his bubble. "Actually... let's make that... Where off the Earth am I?"
Time 8pm
Meanwhile, ack on Earth, Red Hat, Jaden, Syrus and Chumley looked around, glancing at the 5 pillars of light surrounding the Academy island.
"W-What happened?" Chumely questiones, holding Pharaoh in his arms.
"Those five pillers of light are surrounding this island..." Syrus said.
"Five?" Jaden said as he was struck by realization. "It can't be. Were the keys to the seven spirit gates taken?"
"That's what it looks like!" Jaden looked at the cards held in his hand. Ojama Yellow was looking up at him from the safe confines of his card. 'Something bad's going to happen!'
Jaden looked back up. "There were three keys left... Mine, Red Hat's, and Chazz's. So with Chazz being beaten, that means..."
"That everyone's lost but Jaden and Red Hat." Syrus turned to the others.
"To make matters worse. That last Shadow Rider attacked Alexis for no reason." Red Hat said flattly. "And that Shadow Rider must have taken Banner as hostage."
"No joke..." Syrus turned to Jaden and Red Hat. "Let's get out of here! We don't know what'll happen if they take your keys too! The three Sacred Beast will really be revived, and they might swallow this island too!"
"Which is more reason why we can't get out of here." Jaden replied. "We can't just leave Chazz and the others behind like this, right?"
Syrus couldn't argue with that. "Yeah, I guess you're right."
"No matter how powerful the enemy is, to get back everyone who's missing... Red Hat and I have to win in a shadow duel!"
"Jaden, there's only two keys left... So basically..." Chumley said nervously.
"Yeah, I know! I'm really feeling it! This duel's going to be the undeniable last battle battle between us and the Shadow Riders!"
Chumely and Syrus turned to each other and nodded.
"Not only that..." Red Hat spoke up. "Jaden, we'll double up on the last Shadow Rider. With us together we can't be stopped!"
"Yeah! We'll pull a stop to him!" Jaden agreed.
Meanwhile in a dark room, deep under the Abandoned Dorm, a masked Shadow Rider was standing in front of some kind of coffin. His short cloaked ally was standing right next ti him. He let out a dark laughter as he spun around and held up his arms. "Now, come to me, the ultimate alchemist in my life! Jaden Yuki!"
"Time to torment the notorious Red Hat, user of chaos." The smaller cloaked figure said.
As they said that, the floor in front of them lit up with a big, familiar glowing circle with a dot in the middle, which became brighter and brighter...
"And then, a even bigger version of the glowing symbol briefly appeared right above the dorm building.
A large bolt of lightning fell from the sky and collided with a large tree, snapping it in half. As it fell, Jaden and the others ran out of the way before it came down on them, screaming.
"That was close." Red Hat muttered.
"That shocked me." Syrus added.
"Huh?" Jaden turned to the scorched trunk. At that moment, the familiar glowing Symbol appeared. "Isn't this..."
"The Mark of Amneal!" Chumley said, recognizing it.
The glowing mark lingered on the trunck for a moment before it disappeared, and reappeared a few feet away. Then it went away again and came back, this time, even further away.
"It looks like it's saying 'come this way'..." Syrus noted.
"Finding this guy will be easier then I thought." Jaden said. "Come on, let's go!" At that, the boys ran after the glowing mark. The mark led them all the way to an all-too-familiar place: The Abandoned Dorm. Red Hat only barely remembering this place after his encounter with... he didn't want to remember that encounter.
Once inside, the gang was walking through a hallway, with Syrus and Chumley holding a flashlight in their hands, lighting their way.
Jaden looked around. "Aw, dang it... Once we got into this dorm, the Mark of Amneal ened up vanishing. Where is the last Shadow Rider?"
"We need to keep searching." Red Hat urged.
A flash of lightning and the loud booming of thunder interrupted the eerie calmness of the old dorm, startling the group. Pharaoh was sofrightened that he leapt out of Chumley's arms. "Pharaoh!" Chumley called out. But the cat ignored him and bolted down the hallway.
"Over there's..." Syrus muttered.
"The basement where I fought Titan!" Jaden said. "Let's go!"
"Right!" The three of them said.
Some time passed, and the boys found themselves walking through a dark corridor supported bywooden beams. "Pharaoh!" Chumley called out, but there was no trace of the cat. "This is not cool. Huh?" Chumley noticed something on his right. He focused his flashlight on it soeveryone could se. There was a hole, revealing a passageway. There was also some kind of prints on the floor. "Jaden, the wall it's... They're Pharaoh's footprints!"
"I'm sure it came through here." Syrus said nervously.
"This is a passageway, too!" Jaden replied as he and the rest of the gang squeezed through the hole and walked down the new passageway. After a while, they reached the end of it, where they found a doorway.
"Don't you... kinda feel like this is the final Shadow Rider's hideout?" Jaden commented.
Chumley and Syrus stepped back nervously, which Red Hat took noticed. "If you two are gonna chicken out, then stay here and let the real pros get the job done." Red Hat said sarcastically.
Jaden and Red Hat stepped through the hallway with the rest of the gang right behind them and they found themselves in a very large and very dark room.
Chunley and Syrus shined their lights around the room. The floor was covered in dust, and there were some kind of strnage equipment everywhere. But one thing that caught their eyes were three, large, stone tablets straight ahead of them. Each of them depicted a horrifying looking monster, somewhat similar to each of the Egyptian Gds... but they looked different.
"What is this place?" Jaden asked.
"There's a lot of machines for some reason..." Chumley added.
"Was this some sort of laboratory?" Syrus asked.
"If it is, then it doesn't look too abandoned. It looks like it was used recently." Red Hat noted.
"As for me, I just can't help but notice..." Everyone turned to Syrus for a moment before they saw what he was pointing his light at. "...that."
"A coffin?!" Jaden gasped.
"Another Vampire?" Chumley questioned.
"It could be a mummy!" Syrus replied.
Jaden and Red Hat started walking to it.
"Hey, wait you two!"
"Stay back!"
They both ignored Chumley and Syrus' protests and approached the coffin. "Red Hat, give me a hand!"
Red Hat nodded. "Right away Jaden." Both pushed the lid of the coffin away, and with a loud thud, the lid connected with the floor, letting the boys see what was inside the coffin.
"It's a mummy!" Jaden muttered, looking over the corpse.
"Why is there a mummy in a place like this?" Red Hat wondered.
"Was it always in this dorm?" Syrus asked, holding onto Chumley out of fright.
"It looks like it." Chumley answered.
"But just whose..." Jaden leaned in a bit and it was then he noticed something. "Give me your flashlight."
"Jaden, what's wrong?" Red Hat asked as he took Chumley's flashlight and handed it to Jaden.
"What's wrong is this mummy looks familiar!"
"What do you mean?" Red Hat leaned in. When he did, he got a good look of the mummy's outfit and appearence. The mummy wore a long lab coat, a dress shirt with a tie, light colored pants, square glasses of its dry skin, and it's long black hair lay peacefully over it's coat.
"There's only one way to make sure..." Jaden then reached over and pulled away the side of the mummy's coat. Underneaththe fabric was one word, sewn into the fabric of the mummy's shirt
BANNER
Red Hat gasped in horror. "It can't be!"
"That's... impossible!" Jaden said.
"What is it?" Syrus asked.
"This mummy's... Professor Banner." Jaden said, pointing at the corpse.
That shocked Syrus and Chumley. "What?! There's no way it is." Syrus said as he and Chumley walked over to the coffin and looked inside.
"No matter how much they said Professor Banner was missing, there's no way he have mummified this fast!" Chumley denied.
"What does this mean?" Jaden asked.
"I hope Banner wasn't involved in a Shadow Duel." Red Hat said.
The light in the large room turned on, startling the gang. A new vice spoke up. "Welcome to my laboratory, Jaden Yuki. You too Red Hat..."
"What the...? Who said that?" Jaden asked as he and the others turned around.
An evil chuckle was heard, getting their attention. They found the source and saw a tall figure standing right in front of stone tablets. This person was wearing black pants, a tan hooded cloak, a black mask and balaclava over their face, while a dark grey version of the Duel Academy duel disk occupied his left arm. "I will neither run or hide."
'That's the one there!' Ojama Yellow pointed ou as he appeared. 'He's the one who took down Chazz. But you gotta beat him to get Chazz back! You just gotta!'
"Yes, I'm the final Shadow Rider, the one you been searching for." The Shadow Rider said, as if he heard the duel spirit. "Amnael."
"Amnael!?" Jaden repeated. "So you took Chazz and Alexis."
"The answer is yes and no." Amnael answered as he reached into his garb and pulled out a strange book with a golden eye symbol. "I had no interest in the other duelist. Rather my assistant."
"Assistant?" Red Hat muttered, then noticed something near a corner. "Who's there?!"
Everyone followed his gaze and saw another much shorter person stepping forward. They couldn't tell who it was since this person was wearing a black cloak, with their hood and bandana hiding their face.
"As you can see, it was my assistant who dueled the girl named Alexis. I had no interest in her in the slightest. Not without a spirit key." Amnael explained.
"That must have been the person to throw me off and lead me into a wild goose chase, to lure me away!"
"Your affairs are not my concern. I have your friends in my custody. They were all duelist with exceptional talent. However, they couldn't surpass my expectations." Amnael explained.
"Then Jaden and I will take you both down and rescue them!" Red Hat declard.
Amnael chuckled at his response. "You are a fool. This will be no tag duel. You both will be dueling us in a single duel."
"Were you the one who turned Professor Banner like that, too!?" Jaden asked.
"Unfortunately, you are wrong. That mummy has been in this laboatory for quite a long time."
"What do you mean?" Jaden asked. "So then, the professor that's been teaching us until now..."
"To understand everything, you must do just one thing. And that is... duel and defeat me. Only then will the truth be revealed." As Amnael sopke, he held up the strange book. "Only then will this tome and the secrets it holds be unlocked. Will you accaept this challenge? Will you face me?"
"Of course I'll face you!" Jaden ran onto the middle of the floor.
Red Hat followed suit. "In that case, I'll take on the your assistant!" At that, he activated his duel disk.
The cloaked figure simply stepped forward and activated his own duel disk.
"Before we begin. I should introduce her to you." Amnael stated.
"Her?" Red Hat questioned.
"So slow to catch on. Just like a child." Amnael chuckled while raising his left hand. When he did, the cloaked figure removed their bandana slowly while pulling back their hood. When it was done, the whole group gasped when they saw who was this person. Red Hat was especially shocked and took a step back.
"B-Blair..." Red Hat said, utterly speachless. They all took a look at her. She had a stotic expression on her face and her eyes were dull and lifeless. The mark of amnael was also on her forhead.
"Wait? Is that really Blair?" Jaden said with narrowed eyes.
"What have you done to her!?"
"Don't think we don't know about you Red Hat." Amnael spoke up. "We took this girl and used her aginst you and your so called friends."
Red Hat just got angrier. "Give her back.. right now!"
"You are in no possition to be making demands. She's but a tool for our benefit. You want the truth then duel us sperately."
The possesed Blair then spoke up with a wicked grin. "I'll enjoy watching you suffer, user of Chaos."
"Be careful, guys!" Syrus called out before he and Chumley moved away from the mummified teacher.
"Let's throw down!" Jaden cried out, activating his duel disk.
Amnael pulled back his hood to reveal a mane of shocking white hair as his duel disk turned on. "Prepare yourselves."
"Blair, I'll save you!" Red Hat called out.
"Spare me your lies." The possessed Blair replied.

"Draw!" Blair draws.
Hand 6
"I play the spell Delinquent Duo! I pay 1000 LP, you now have to discard 1 random card, then you have to discard a card of your choice." Blair explains with distain in her voice.
Blair: 8000 - 7000 LP
"Huh?!" Red Hat gasped. 'Hand control? Not good, if she tries to get rid of my hand then I won't be able to make a comeback.' He thought as he discarded Brain Control at random and Zaborg the Thunder Moarch.
"That look on your face pleases me. I set a monster and a facedown and end my turn." Blair ends her turn.
Hand 3
"It's go time. My draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 4
"Go trap card Trap Dustshoot!" Blair announced, catching Red Hat off guard. "Since you have four cards in your hand, I can look at your hand and return one monster from you hand back to the deck. If you have any of course. I know you do."
"Argh, fine. Here take a look." Red Hat reluctantly showed his hand to her. Four images of his cards appeared in front of her. Which showed Treeborn Frog, Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, Ring of Destruction and Solemn Judgment.
"That Treeborn Frog goes back to your deck!" Blair annouced as said card disappeared from Red Hat's hand and returned to the deck. "How does it feel to get traped by hand destruction."
"Like I'm telling you. I summon Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer! (Atk: 1800 Def: 700)" The cursed monk appears onto the field. "Battle, attack her facedown monster!" The spellcaster casted a spellcaster fired a beem of darkness at the facedown monster. Revealing to be Apprentice Magician. (Atk: 400 Def: 800)
"Apprentice Magician effect. Since he was destroyed by battle, I can special summon a level 2 or lower spellcaster from my deck in face down defense position. I choose the monster known as Crystal Sear. (Atk: 100 Def: 100)" Another facedown monster takes Apprentice Magician's place.
"I'll set one card facedown and end my turn." Red Hat ends his turn.
Hand 1
"Boku no Turn draw." Blair draws.
Hand 4
"I play the quickplay Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your facedown." A typhhon appears as it destroyed the facedown.
"Just peachy." Red Hat commeted.
"Go ahead, keep trying to sound tough. I flip summon Crystal Sear." A man wearig red robes, a red hood, a dark blue cape, and balaclava over his face, appeaed on the field. He also held a crystal ball. "His effect, I excavate the top two cards from my deck. I get to add one to my hand and the other one is set to the bottom of my deck." Blair picks up two cards and was shown to be Thestalos and Drop Off. I choose to add Thestalos to my hand." Blair added the card to her hand as her other card was sent to the bottom of her deck.
"This will be painful." Red Hat muttered.
Blair chuckled as she smiled wickedly. "Suffer... Feel the pain and the passion that you fought so long ago. I tribute Crystal Seer, to summon Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch! (Atk: 2400 Def: 1000)" Crystal Seer was then replaced by the Fire attribute monarch. "Thestalos effect, since he was tribute summon you have to discard a random card, but since you only have one card left and it's obviously a trap card that's a moot point." Thestlos fired a small fireball at Red Hat's hand forcing him to discard his land hand.
"No cards in my hand. No spells no traps." Red Hat noted.
"Suffer Chaos user. Battle, Thestalos attack his Kycoo the Chost Destroyer! Firestrom Strike!" Thestlos unleashed his flames and created a fire cyclone that burned Kycoo before destroying it. The flames swallowed Red Hat before knocking off his feet.
Red Hat: 8000 - 7400 LP
"Those flames... they hurt." Red Hat commented as he got back on his feet.
"It will only get worse. Turn end." Blair ends her turn.
Hand 3
"I won't let you push me around. My turn. I draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 1
'Morphing Jar can help me out. With no hand I need this draw power.' He thought as he continued. "I set a monster and end my turn." Red Hat ends his turn.
Hand 0
"Time to torment you. Draw!" Blair draws.
Hand 4
"I play the spell Nobleman of Crossout! This spell banishes your facedown monster. If it was a flip effect all copies in your deck, including in my deck, if I have any are also banished." A blonde man dressed in full armor appears in front of the facedown monster and staps it with his sword. Revealing to be Morphing Jar.
"No!" Red Hat exclaimed. "Now we both have to check our decks cause rulings."
"Very observant." Blair and Red Hat walked up to each other. Blair hands him her deck as he took it, and began to look through the deck.
Red Hat was speechless at what he was seeing. 'This deck... it's hand control with Thestalos and a few other engines. Blair... I...' He didn't finished that thought. After looking through he found a Morphing Jar in the deck. "I found one here."
"One copy. So be it." Blair took back the deck and placed back in her duel disk slot after it was shuffled and placed Morphing Jar in her pocket. "Now it's your turn." Red Hat handed her his deck and she looked through his deck. She was smirking through out the whole thing. "No other copies. so you're good to go." She said as she gave him back his deck. Red Hat shuffled his deck before placing it back in the slot of his duel disk.
They both walked back to their positions. "Time to continue. Battle, Thestalos attack him directly! Firestorm Blast!" Thestalos launched constent streams of powerful flames at Red Hat, making him cry out in pain.
Red Hat: 7400 - 5000 LP
"I set one card facedown and end my turn." Blair ends her turn.
Hand 2
Red Hat gasped at the pain he felt. "I can't do much to stop it."
"And you won't." Blair replied with a smug look. "Face it, you will lose. How does it feel to suffer the same fate that many duelist had against you and others."
"What do you mean?" Red Hat asked.
"Don't act all innocent. You enjoyed causing people pain and suffering with these toxic cards. Now I'm using them against you."
"That's... That's not true!" denied Red Hat.
"You've only proven my point. You are no different from the Shadow Riders or the pros who played these cards. How many dreams have you and others crushed because of these cards?" Blair asked as she crossed her arms.
"If I'm allowed to play them, then I'll play them. Without playing the same staple cards, you'll be at a disadvantage." Red Hat countered.
"And look how unhealthy the same game you claim to love is." Blair replied. "Look at you now, cowering in fear now that you facing someone with a similar deck."
"Spare me the comparrisons."
"You have no self-awareness. You think you're he best cause you play the same powerful decks? What if everyone had the same decks you played. Better yet, if someone came here only to realize everyone plays the same powerful cards." Blair replied smugly. "You are nothing more then a selfish duelist with an unrealistic expecation. It's all your fault. You created resentment."
"That is..." Red Hat stuttered, unable to answer. 'My fault? What about the pros.'
"Like a lone wolf. A child, all alone. No one to back you up."
Red Hat just stood there with a blank stare. Trying to grasp at what she was saying. 'Am I... really like this? No that can't be...' Red Hat then clenched his fist out of anger.
"This isn't looking good." Jaden muttered.
"You should foucs on our duel Jaden." Amnael spoke up, getting his attention. "Leave them to their own affairs. Because I'm about to make my move. I draw." Amnael draws.
Hand 6
"I activate the continuous spell. Dimensional Fissure!" A large pink portal appeared underneath the the field.
"What is that thing?" Syrus asked.
"Oh yeah, like I'm gonna know." Chumley replied sarcastically.
"So long as this spell remains on the field. All monsters that will normally go to our graveyard are banished instead." Amnael explained.
Jaden frowned. 'All of our monsters?'
"Now I summon D.D. Survivor in attack mode! (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" A man wearing armor, covered in a green garb that also covered his head and face apeared on the field. "Next I set a facedown and end my turn." Amnael ends his turn.
Hand 3
"Time to get my game on! I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 6
"I summon Elemental HERO Wildheart in attck mode! (Atk: 1500 Def: 1600)" Wildheat emerges onto the field. Now I play the equip spell Cyclone Boomerang!" A boomerang appears as Wildheart weilds it. "This spell increases Wildhearts attack points by 500! (Atk: 1500 - 2000 Def: 1600) Battle, Wildheart attack that D.D. Survivor!" Wildheart throws his boomerang at D.D. Survivor. The former monster gets sucked in by the portal. The boomerang returns to Wildheart.
Amnael: 8000 - 7800 LP
"Next I through doen a facedown and end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.
Hand 3
At that moment. The just destroyed D.D. Survivor reappeared onto the feild through the dimensional portal. (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)
"D.D Survivor effect, if he get's banished on my field. During the end phase he comes back to the field!" Amnael explained.
"That may be, I'll just have to keep attacking it over and over." Jaden replied.
"You're a fool if you think you can beat me that easily. It's my turn I draw." Amneal draws.
Hand 4
"I summon D.D. Warrior in attack mode. (Atk: 1200 Def: 1000)" A warrior, wearing full armor, with the similar garbe to the other D.D. monster. The warrior also had red hair and carried a long blade. "Battle, D.D. Warrior attack Wildheart!"
"But your monster is weaker then mine. Wildheart counter attack. Wild slash!" Wildheart counter attacks the charging D.D. Warrior and impales him with his sword.
Amnael: 7800 - 7000 LP
"When D.D. Warrior battles a monster. That monster and itself get banished!" D.D. Warrior implaes Wildheart with his blade and both were sucked in into the dimensional portal. "And since Wildheart was banished. Your equip spell doesn't activate!"
Jaden's spell card was destroyed with no further effect. "Not good."
"No it's not... not while D.D. Survivor can still attack! Go attack Jaden directly!" D.D. Survivor charges in at Jaden with his arm forward. As he hit Jaden he released a powerful motion, pushing Jaden back across the room a bit.
Jaden: 8000 - 6200 LP
"I end my turn with that." Amnael ends his turn.
Hand 3
"It's my turn. I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 4
"I summon Elemental HERO Sparkman in attack mode! (Atk: 1600 Def: 1400)" Sparkman emerges onto the field. "Now I play the field spell Skyscraper!" The field soon changed to where many tall buildings emerge from underneath the ground and covered the place. "Battle, Sparkman attack his D.D. Survivor! Static Shockwave! Skyscraper boost Sparkman's attack by 1000 since he's weaker then your D.D. Survivor." Sparkman's attack increased as he launched a wave of electricity at the warrior destroying him.
Amnael: 7000 - 6200 LP
"With that I end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.
Hand 2
"Did you forget? D.D. Survivor returns to my field since he was banished!" D.D. Survivor returns to the field as he kneels down. (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)
"I don't think so! Go trap card, Bottomless Trap Hole! Since you summoned a monster with at least 1500 attack points that monster get's banished. Since your D.D. Survivor can only be summoned once per turn. He's not comming back!" Jaden explains as D.D. Survivor was sucked in by a hole that opened up beneath his feet.
"Impressive, but it matters not. You see Jaden, a Banish deck always has many back up plans. D.D. monsters aren't so easily stopped." Amnael commented.
"What does that mean?" Jaden asked.
"You'll find out soon enough. It's my turn. I draw!" Amneal draws.
Hand 4
"I summon the monster known as Banisher of the Radiance! (Atk: 1600 Def: 0)" A white being, with a glowing orange orb at it's center, two arms and a single orand eye appeared on the field. The monster rediated a strong light force. "This monster effect is unique. You see, so long as he's on the field. Any card that would normally sent to the grave is banished instead." Amnael explained.
"Wait any card!?" Jaden gasped.
"That's correct, which is now I can activate the trap card Karma Cut! By discarding one card I can banish one face up monster on your field. So your Sparkman get's banished!" A portal appeared behind Sparkman and was instantly sucked in by the portal. Meanwhile Amnael cards were absorbed by the Banisher of Radiance. "Battle, Banisher of Raidence attack Jaden directly!" The light being fired a blast of light from it's core, hitting Jaden directly.
Jaden: 6200 - 4600 LP
"I end my turn with a facedown." Amnael ends his turn.
Hand 2
"Jaden is in trouble. And so am I." Red Hat muttered before turning to Blair. "Still, I won't give up."
"You're no position to be saving anyone." Blair spoke up. "The torment will continue."
"Not happening. My turn I draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 1
"Go trap card, Drop Off." Blair annoucned as her trap was revealed. "The card you just drew gets discarded."
"What!?" Red Hat discarded his card, revealing to be Black Luster Soldier - Ennoy of the Beginning. "I end my turn." Red Hat ends his turn.
Hand 0
"Draw." Blair draws.
Hand 3
"I summon Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer in attack mode. (Atk: 1800 Def: 700)" Kycoo appears on her field. "Battle, Kycoo attack him directly!" Kycoo charges in and slams Red Hat, pushing him back.

"Kycoo effect, since he dealt damage. I get to banish up to two monsters in your grave." Blair smirks. "I banish your Black Luster Soldier - Ennvoy of the Beginning and your Zaborg the Thunder Monarch." Kycoo started a chant and soon, said cards were ejected from Red Hat's graveyard. "I'm not done. Thestalos, attack him some more!" Thestalos launches a fireball at Red Hat. He scream in pain before pushed back by the blast.
Red Hat: 3200 - 800 LP
Red Hat was on his hands and knees, panting at all the damage he took. 'Critical life points. I haven't even dealt damage or slowed her down.' He thought, slowly getting back up.
Blair began laughing at him. "How does it feel to be completely helpless. I'll say it again, you are weak. Turn end." Blair ends her turn.

"I won't let you push me around. I draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 1
'This is my last chance. If she draws removal, I'm done for... Blair...' He though with a solemn look on his face. "I set a monster and end my turn." Red Hat ends his turn.

"There is no hope for you. Draw!" Blair draws.
Hand 3
"I summon Don Zaloog! (Atk: 1400 Def: 1500)" The familiar bandit appears on the field, reading his guns. "Battle, Don Zaloog attack his facedown monster! Double blast attack!" Don Zaloog readied his guns and fires two blast from from his guns. As the shots landed at the facedown. It was revealed to be Cyber Jar. (Atk: 900 Def: 900)
"Cyber Jar's flip effect. He self-destructs and destroys all monsters on the field!" Red Hat announced as Cyber Jar self-destructed, destroying all monsters on the field. "Now we get pick up five cards, if any are level 4 or lower monsters we can summon them."
"Very well. Draw, Drop Off. Draw number 2, Crush Card Virus. Draw number 3, Don Zaloong, I'll summon him in attack mode. (Atk: 1400 Def: 1500)" Don Zallog reappears on the field, twirling his guns as he strikes a pose. "Draw number 4, Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch. Draw number 5, final card is Dark Hole."
"Now it's my turn. First draw, Pot of Greed. Second draw, Dandylion! I'll play him in defense mode. (Atk: 300 Def: 300) Third draw, Mirage of Nightmare. Fourth draw, Witch of the Black Forest! I'll play her in defense mode. (Atk: 1100 Def: 1200) Fifth and final draw, Graceful Charity!" The set monsters on Red Hat's field were shuffled.
"It's still my battle phase. Don Zaloog attack his facedown monster on the left. Double Blast Attack!" Don Zaloog fired shots from his pistols and hits one of the facedown monsters, which revealed to be Witch of the Black Forest.
"Her effect activates. I get to add a monster with 1500 or less defense from my deck. I choose Jinzo!" Red Hat add said monster to his hand.
"Not so fast, I play the spell card The Forceful Sentry. I get to look at your hand and return it back to the deck. I choose your Jinzo." Blair retaliated.
Red Hat growled at that action. "Fine..." Red Hat returned his card back to his deck and it was shuffled.
"I set 2 cards facedown and end my turn." Blair ends her turn.
Hand 3
"You two have been warned." Amnael spoke up. "To be triumphant, you will need to use your cards in a way you've never used them before. You will need to become better duelist than you've ever been. This includes you Red Hat. If not, you will join your friends."
"We'll be setting them free, and will break your mind control on Blair!" Jaden replied. "It's my turn, I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 3
"I play Polymerization and fuse Elemental HERO Necroshade with King of the Swamp to fusion summon, Elemental HERO Necroid Shamen! (Atk: 1900 Def: 1800)" Necroid Shamen appeared to be tribesman that was strong in both body and spirit and had some sort of traditional symbolism ehind his apperance and powers. "Necroid Shamen's effect, when he's summoned I can destroy one monster on your field!" Banisher of the Radiance was destroyed by the Shamen's effect as it exploded. "Then I can special summon a monster from your graveyard to replace him. Although, since you have no monster in your graveyard. That part of the effect doesn't apply. Sweet huh?" Jaden explained.
Red Hat turned to Jaden and lightly chuckled. 'What a contrive effect, but you're right. Since Amnael is playing a banish deck, he'll never have monsters in his graveyard. Zaborg is still better though. Heck I'd argue your Thunder Giant is better.'
"Battle, Necroid Shamen attack him directly!" The shamen charged in and swung his staff at Amnael's face. He yelped in pain as his LP decreased.
Amnael: 6200 - 4300 LP
And then, a large crack was formed on his mask.
"Yeah!" Chumley cheered.
"Alright! Way to play, Jay!" Syrus cheered before turning to Chumley. "I knew he'd turn this duel around sooner or later."
"Meow." That sound made them look down and saw Pharaoh standing near them.
"Pharaoh! You here to help Jaden and Red Hat on?" Syrus smiled and picked him up. "Oh, great! You can watxh with me!"
Pharaoh mewled angrily and slashed Syrus across his face with his sharp claws. Syrus cried out in pain and dropped the cat, who bounced away... heading straight to Amnael.
"Huh?" Red Hat looked where Pharaoh was heading.
"No, Pharaoh!" Jaden called out. "That guy's dangerous!"
To their surprise as they watch the cat run over to Amnael, they were even more surprised when the cat purred and rubbed up against his boot.
"Um, Pharaoh?" Jaden looked confused.
So did Red Hat. "But why?"
Syrus stared at the cat. "W-what's going on?"
"But Pharaoh's never that friendly with strangers!" Chumley pointed out.
Jaden turned to the Shadow Rider. "Then, Amnael..."
"Is no stranger to Pharaoh... or to you." Amnael finished, reaching up to his mask.
Everyone watched as he slowly took it off. Everyone, including Red Hat gasped upon seeing his face.
"It can't be!" Syrus said in disbelief.
Chumley couldn't believe it either. "Professor Banner?"
The very person standing in front of them, was indeed Professor Banner. Red Hat couldn't believe what he was seeing. 'Professor Banner? It can't be... But there's no denying it. The glasses, hair stylr and his face are the same, just slightly differet..' Red Hat thought with a troubled look. 'Banner is the last Shadow Rider... But that still doesn't answer my question. Why bring Blair into this?'
"What's going on?" Jaden questioned as he glanced between that Banner and the corpse that the gng assumed was Banner. "So then, what about that mummy?"
Banner chuckled as he bent down and began to pet Pharaoh. "That mummy is also me." He looked at them all as he picked up the cat. "I was brought back from the world of death with the power of alchemy."
All of them stood in silence as they tried to process what they were just told. Banner died at some point? Then how was he alive? And why was he here and doing all of this? Jaden then broke the silence. "So, you and that mummy... You're both Professor Banner?"
"My flesh was destroyed a long time ago." Banner smirked. "With the power of alchemy, my soul now resides in this body."
"But why go through so much trouble Professor?" Red Hat asked.
"I may as well tell you the story, before we defeat you." Banner replied as he began to explain. "I originally travel the world as an alchemist... to search for the Philosopher's Stone."
"The Philosopher Stone?" Jaden questioned.
"It's a lengendary jewel sought after by alchemist. It is said to change all metals into gold and even create perpetual youth and longevity medicine. Consequently, many of history's influential people sought the Philosopher's Stone and came to develop Alchemy. I accepted someone's orders and also did research into it. And..."
Flashback
Clad in an explorer outfit, and holding a torch, Banner was inside a tomb, where he found three stone tablets... The same ones that was right behind him today.
"As Pegasus, once attained Duel Monsters... so did my research finally lead me to Duel Monsters."
Inside the very lab where everyone was today, Banner was standing at a table with a bunch of bottles and ccanisters full with chemicals. In frustration, Banner broke one of those filled bottles.
"But, my body was to strained by my long trip, and succumbed to an incurable illness." Banner coughed some blood into his mouth.
"To that end, I entrusted my soul to a Humunculous, an artificial life-form created through alchemy."
Banner watched over a grayish body that floated inside a big tube.
Flashback end
"So, that's what it was?" Syrus asked.
"But, in the end., this body is a temporary flesh. It has started to decay, and it won't be long before I accept my grave illness. However, before my inevitable death..." As he spoke. Banner lightly scratched his right cheek, causing it to crack like glass. "I must get the power to control the ultimate spirits for the one who supported my research, as well."
"The ultimate spirits?" Jaden questioned before realizing what Banner meant. "You don't mean... The three Sacred Beasts!?"
"If I had the power of the three Sacred Beasts alone, I would be able to create the Philosopher's Stone!"
Jaden clenched his right hand in anger. "You have got to be kidding me, Professor Banner... To think you been deceiving us the entire time. So then, the memories we've made until now were all lies?"
"So, you were just using us, weren't you?" Red Hat lower his head. "To think I respected you Banner. Both as a teacher and a person."
Banner bent down and let Pharaoh go. "As for who you are dueling Red Hat. This was another test. I knew how much she meant to you. She is but a mere pawn in our little game. Using stategies you onced used long ago."
The possessed Blair spoke up. "If there's one thing you fear, is when all your degenerate strategies work against you."
"That's not true!" Red Hat denied.
"Don't think I don't know all about your strategies. Without those powerful cards, you are nothing Mr. High and Mighty." Blair replied with a smug grin. "Why else was I given hand control. I have yet to take damage and you're in critical LP."
Red Hat clenched his fist holding back his anger. 'Blair... I don't want to hurt you. I want to save you.'
"If you want to release those ones we captured, then defeat us. You can't run from this duel. Think of it as your final exam!" Banner spoke up. "If you're going to hold back, their souls will all become ingredients for my research."
"Well then..." Jaden and Red Hat looked up again. "Bring it on!" Both said in unsion.

"It's my turn. I draw!" Banner draws.

I summon D.D. Survivor in attack mode! (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" The familiar warrior appears once again. "Now I end my turn with a facedown." Banner ends his turn.

"It's my turn I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 1
"Necroid Shamen attack his D.D. Survivor!" As the hero begins to attack. Banner was ready.
"Don't think it will be that easy. I play the continuous trap Macro Cosmos! Thanks to this card, I'll be removing you from this world!" Soon, a bright light engulfed the entire room.
Everyone covered their eyes as the entire room was engulfed with a blinding white light. After what seemed like forever, the light died down. Everyone lowered their arms and opened their eyes.
"What in the world?" Was all Red Hat could say as he and the others were stunned at what they were seeing. They were no longer in that lab underneath the Abandoned Dorm. Instead... they found themselves in the vastness of space. The dimensional portal was still underneath Jaden and Banner. The skyscrapers were comically floating in space.
Banner smiled at their reaction. "Our duel has been taken int the cosmos, and has ascended beyond the human world."
"The cosmos?" Jaden asked, his foucs coming back.
"Macro Cosmos effect, when activated I can special summon Helios - The Primodial Sun from my hand or deck! In this case the deck! (Atk: ? Def: ?)" A strange creature appeared on Banner's field. It's head was replaced with a small sun, while its body... didn't look like it had much physical features, and was wrapped up in gauze like mummy. The looks of the monster, the others could tell the monster was feminie.
Red Hat blinked. "Unknown strength?"
Banner nodded. "That's right. You see, Helios gains 100 attack and defense points for every one of my monster that has been banished. With only 4, as I abnished Banisher of Light with Karma Cut discard cost, that's 400 attack and defense points. (Atk: ? - 400 Def: ? - 400)"
It was then Jaden and Red Hat saw a bunch of oddly colored bubbles came out of nowhere, floating behind Banner. After a moment, they could see what was inside those bubbles, or rather, who.
"Chazz!" Jaden called out as he saw Chazz banging on his bubble prison. He then noticed two others, each of them lying in a bubble unconscious. "Alexis! Atticus!"
"Wait?! Alexis and Atticus!?" Red Hat narrowed his eyes at Banner.
"Surprised?" The possessed Blair spoke up. "I dueled both Atticus and Alexis. To prevent suspecion, I dueled both of them and brought their souls over to Banner." Blair then began laughing. "I was the one to mess with you and throw you off with many cards I left behind. I know you still have them."
"You were the one to throw me off..." Red Hat muttered.
"I have no idea how you figured things out. Quite frankly I don't care." Blair replied.
"What lies at the top is what lies at the bottom, and what lies at the botttom is what lies at the top." Banner said, as he reached into his robes and pulled out the strange book. "These words are the truth of the world that is written in this Emerald Tablet. Everything in the world is born through substance, which changes variably, creating the sky and the earth. Furthermore, all things connected, and they inflict an influence on each other. As do the world of the humans in the Micro-Cosmos and the world of the sky in the Macro-Cosmos..."
"So humans and outer space are connected?" Jaden asked.
Banner smirked and lightly chuckled. "Being strongly influenced by modern-day science, you all can not possibly fathom it. However, alchemy is a miraculous artist that makes the impossible possible." He opened his eyes to reveal startling red eyes glaring at them all. "Witness my final lecture with your own eyes, Jaden and Red Hat!"
Jaden growled. "I don't know what magic or alchemy is, but... the one thing I can say isthat you won't get away with putting Alexis, Chazz, and Atticus through all that!"
"I'll free Blair from your mind control!" Red Hat added.
"Time to get going. Necroid Shamen continue your attack this time on Helios!" The hero continued his attack. Banner though, was not going to allow it.
"You are a fool. Go quick play spell! Grand Convergence!" The planets moved to different places around everyone and the vastness of space around was distorted. "This card I can only activate while Macro Cosmos is on the field! You take 300 burn damage and then all monsters all destroyed!" The three monsters shattered and Jaden cried out in pain by the effect of the spell.
Jaden: 4600 - 4300 LP
"I'll throw down a facedown and end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.
Hand 0
"It's the end phase so D.D. Survivor returns to the field! (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" The warrior returns via the dimensional portal below them. "It's my turn I draw!" Banner draws.
Hand 2
"I play the spell Chaos Greed! I an only activate this if I have at least 4 banished and no cards in my graveyard, I can draw 2 cards." Banner draws his cards. "I play the spell Graceful Charity. I draw 3 cards then discard 2 or in this case banish." Banner draws three cards and discards Banisher of the Light and Golden Homunculus. "I summon D.D. Assailant in attack mode! (Atk: 1700 Def: 1600)" A warrior appeared on the field. He had white hair, wore a white suit looking similar to that of survivor, and carried a huge blade on his back. "Battle, D.D. Assailant attack Jaden directly!" The Assailant took his blade and charged forward.
"Not so fast Banner! Go trap card Sakuretsu Armor! This card destroys your D.D. Assailant!" An armored being appeared and charged forward at D.D. Assailant destroying him.
"But then, what will protect you from D.D. Survivor! Go attack Jaden directly!" Said warrior disappears and reappears behind Jaden. The warrior attacked Jaden from behind, causing Jaden to grunt in pain.
Jaden: 4300 - 2500 LP
"Hey, not cool." Jaden complained.
"With that, I end my turn." Banner ends his turn.
Hand 2
Red Hat was concerned for Jaden but had to focus on his duel. 'Jaden is in a tough spot and so am I. D.D. Survivor is such an annoyance in a Banish deck.' He thought.
"I've been waiting for a while now. Make your move." Blair said, getting impaitent.
"My turn I draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 4
"Go trap, Drop Off. The card you drew is discarded." Blair said.
Red Hat discarded his card revealing to be D.D. Warrior Lady. "I play Pot of Greed! So I draw two more cards." Red Hat draws his cards. "I play the continuous spell Mirage of Nightmare! I set three cards facedown and end my turn." Red Hat end his turn.

"Draw." Blair draws.
Hand 4
"Mirage of Nightmare effect! I get to draw until I have 4 cards in my hand." Red Hat said as he drew four cards.
"I play the spell Pot of Greed. So I draw 2 cards." Blair draws her cards. "I summon Mystic Tomato in attack mode. (Atk: 1400 Def: 1100)" A mutated tomato with a creep face appeared on the field.
"Go Trap Card, Torrential Tribute! Since you summoned a monser, all monsters are destroyed!" Multiple blasts of blue lightning destroyed every monster on the field. "Since Dandylion was sent to the grave, I get two fluff tokens. (Atk: 0 Def: 0 X2)" Two fluff tokens appear on his field.
"You're merely delying the inevitable. I set one card facedown and end my turn." Blair ends her turn.

"It's my turn. I draw!" Red Hat draws.
Hand 5
"Go quick play, Emergency Provisions! I send Mirage of Nightmare to the grave and regain 1000 LP. So I don't discard any cards." Red Hat sends Mirage to the grave, before getting affected by it's drawback.
Red Hat: 800 - 1800 LP
"I activate one of my facedowns, Graceful Charity. I draw 3 cards then I discard 2." Red Hat draws his cards only for one of his draws to shock him. 'Chaos Emperor Dragon?' Red Hat thought as he discarded Magician of Faith and Spirit Reaper.
"What's the matter? Scared to make a move?" Blair smirked at him, as if she was ridiculing him.
'I made a promise to never try this combo ever again...' Red Hat fell to one knee. 'There has to be a way to win without this combo...' Red Hat thought, refusing to play his old and former ace.
'You want to lose?' The spirit of Aussa appeared next to him. 'You can not win unless you pull that combo.'
Red Hat looked at her. 'I hate this combo. It's what caused me trouble in the past.'
Aussa shook her head in disappointment. 'I can understand why you don't want to use that combo.' Aussa then narrowed her eyes at him. 'You are facing Hand Control. You must pull off that combo if you want to win. If you don't, she'll overwhelm you with all her control cards.'
Red Hat get's back on his feet and stares at his hand. 'Forgive me Blair...' He thought as he continued his turn. "I banished D.D. Warrior Lady and Spirit Reaper to special summon a monster." Lightning soon striked both Blair and Red Hat. Red Hat cried out in pain, but Blair just stood there as if the blast didn't harm her at all. "Mighty dragon of chaos, emerage from the deepest pit of hell and bring destruction and victory! Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End! (Atk: 3000 Def: 2500)" The powerful chaos dragon emerage and let out a massive roar. "I play the spell Monster Reborn! I bring back Witch of the Black Forest from my grave. (Atk: 1100 Def: 1200)" The witch in black robes appears on the field. "I activate Chaos Emperor Dragon's effect, I pay 1000 LP to send all cards on the field and in our hands to the grave! You take 300 burn Damage per card sent to the grave by this effect! That's 10 cards!" Chaos Emperor Dragon covered the entire field in flames. It sent and destroyed all cards on the field, including itself, and sent all cards in their hands to the grave. Blair did not seem fazed by the flames.

Blair: 7000 - 4000 LP
"Witch of the Black forest effect. Since she was sent to the grave I can add a monster with 1500 or less defense. I choose this card." Red Hat shows the infamous spirit monster. "I normal summon the spirit monster Yata-Garasu! (Atk: 200 Def: 100)" A purple bird with a menecing aura and look appeared on the field. "Battle, Yata-Garasu attack her directly! Nightmare peck!" The small purple bird made a beline to Blair's spot and repeatedly started to peck her over and over. Blair for some reason didn't seemed phased by this.
Blair: 4000 - 3800 LP
"You pulled the Yata-lock. I lose." Blair stated as the duel disk deactivated. All holograms on their end began to disappear.
Blair: 3800 LP - Surrendered
"Wait why did she surrendered? Didn't she have a chance?" Syrus asked, confused.
"Yata-Garasu effect. If it does battle damage to the opponent. They skip their draw phase. Since she had no cards on the field or in her hand, she's locked out of drawing." Red Hat explained with distain.
"The duel disks are programed so if one were to pull off the Yata-lock. It will automatically register as surrendering the duel and shut down." Blair said. "So long..." As Red Hat was about to get close to her. The mark of Amnael disappeared from her forhead. Then, to everyone's surprise, a dark aura surrounded her then her body crumbled and turned to dust.
"What the!?" Red Hat gasped. "What is going on?"
Banner chuckled before speaking up. "You'll find out in due time Red Hat."
"What ever is happening, I want some answers Banner! My turn I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 1
"I special summon Elemental HERO Bubbleman in defense mode. (Atk: 800 Def: 1200)" The white caped water hero appeared and kneel down. "Since I had no other cards in my hand I can special summon him, and since I have no cards in my hand and no other cards on my field. I cn draw 2 more cards!" Jaden drew his cards. "I play the continuous spell Mirage of Nightmare! Then I throw down a facedown and end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.
Hand 0
Banner smirked. "Don't you know Jaden. You can not activate Emergency Provisions. Macro Cosmos prevents you from activating it, as your spell sends cards to the graveyardas cost. It doesn't destroy it. You're stuck so long as Macro Cosmos is on the field."
"Well see about that Professor Banner." Jaden replied.
"Well see indeed. It's my turn I draw!" Banner draws.
Hand 3
"Mirage of Nightmare effect I draw until I'm holding 4 cards." Jaden explained as he drew his cards.
"Go ahead, since your're stuck with Macro Cosmos on the field. I set a card facedown then I play another Chaos Greed. So I draw 2 more cards." Banner draws his cards. "I play the spell Pot of Greed. So I draw 2 more cards." Banner draws more cards. "Here's another Chaos Greed! That's two more cards since I have no cards in my graveyard." Banner continues to draw.
Red Hat was watching carefully. 'What is he up to? You almost never run that many copies of Chaos Greed, due to it's massive restriction.'
"Now I play the spell Card Destruction! We discard our entire hands, then we draw the same number of cards!" Banner and Jaden discarded all their cards. Due to Macro Cosmos all their cards were banished instead, much to Jaden's distain. They then redrew cards they discarded. "Now I tribute D.D. Survivor to tribute summon Helios Duo Megistus! (AtK: ? Def: ?)" In a flash of light, D.D. Survivorwas replaced by a new incarnation of Helios. This one looked similar to the original, but was fatter. It's head, which was still a small sun, had a second sun that was even smaller and orbiting it. "Helios Duo Megistus gains 200 attack per monster that's banished. I have 12 monsters as I discarded more monsters with Card Destruction. Banisher of the Radiance, another Helios Duo Megistus and another Helios the Primorial Sun. With D.D. Survivor being used as tribute fodder. That's 12 monsters. (Atk: ? - 2400 Def: ? - 2400)"
"So that's why you discarded all those cards with Card Destruction. It was to fill up your banish zone with monsters." Red Hat noted.
"That is correct Red Hat. Battle, Helios attack Jaden's Bubbleman! Solar Singer!" Everyone watched as the mummy like monster's body was covered by a swirling mass of fire. The fire launched itself straight towards Jaden's field and destroyed Bubbleman. "I end my turn. D.D. Survivor returns to my field, thus Duo Megistus get's weaker. (Atk: 1800 Def: 200) (Atk: 2400 - 2200 Def: 2400 - 2200)" Banner ends his turn as D.D. Survivor returns tot he field.

"Alright it's my turn. I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 5
"Now discard the cards your drew Jaden. You can't use Emergency Provisions, thanks to Macro Cosmos." Banner reminded him.
"Who said it was Emergency Provisions." Jaden replied. "Go quick play, Mystical Space Typhoon! With this card I destroy Mirage of Nightmare!" Jaden revealed his facedown which he used to destroy Mirage of Nightmare. "Now I don't have to discard anything." Jaden took a look at his hand. 'I need to last long enough. There's only one card that can save me now. A card Red Hat gave me.' Jaden thought. "I set one card facedown and end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.

"Very well, my turn I draw." Banner draws.
Hand 4
"I now tribute Helios Duo Megistus to special summon Helios Trice Megistus! (Atk: ? Def: ?)" Duo was engulfed by flames and vanished. Then, from within those flames, a new monster appeared... which turned out to be a trio of mini versions of Helios. "Now, Jaden, for evry monster banished, Trice Megistus gains 300 attack points. Since 12 monsters have been banished so far.(Atk: ? - 3600 Def: ? - 3600)"
"3600?" Jaden gawked at the trio's strength.
"Battle, Trice Megistus, atttack with Phoenix Flare!" The sun-headed trio's bodies were covered completely by incredible flames which combined themselves into an almighty form of a phoenix before attacking Jaden.
"Go trap card! Mirror Force! This card destroys all your attack posistion monsters!" Trice Megistus slammed into the holy barrier, destroying it and D.D. survivor.
"Impressive, I summon D.D. Assailant in attck mode! (Atk: 1700 Def: 1600)" Another D.D. Assailant appeared on the field. "With that I end my turn. D.D. Survivor returns to the field. (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" Banner ends his turn as D.D. Survivor returns back to the field.

"It's my turn I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 5
'Still not the right card.' Jaden thought as he continued his turn. "I play the spell card Heavy Storm! With this, all spell and traps on the field are destroyed!" Powerful winds began to circle around and destroy all backrow.
"Not just yet! Go quick play spell Grand Convergence! Since Macro Cosmos is on the field all monsters are destroyed and you take 300 burn damage!" Banners monsters where destroyed by the distortion of space. Then, the winds from heavy storm destroys all the backrow. Once the cards were destroyed, everyone returned to the same lab they were in. The Skyscrapers disappeared as the field spell was destroyed and so was the portal as Dimensional Fissure as it was also destroyed.
Jaden: 2500 - 2200 LP
"I place two cards facedown and end my turn." Jaden ends his turn.
Hand 2
"D.D. Survivor comes back to my field as he was banished. (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" D.D. Survivor returns to the field. "Now it's my turn I draw!" Banner draws.
Hand 3
"Now, Jaden, if you thought Helios Trice Megistus was formidible. Then just wait until you meet an even more powerful monster then him! I summon Gren Maju Da Eiza! (Atk: ? Def: ?)" An enormus red-scaled demon scuttled from a dark portal behind Banner. The monster was incredibly huge.
"I won't give you that chance Banner. Go trap card, Torrential Tribute! Since you summoned a monster I can destroy all monsters on the field!" Blast of blue lightning hit the field. Destroying both of Banners monsters. "Since D.D. Survivor hit the graveyard, he's not coming back!"
"You think this is end? I play the spell Monster Reborn! I special summon back Gren Maju Da Eiza!" The red-scaled demon reeemerged onto the field. "Now time to see it's limitless potential. You see Jaden, Gren Maju Da Eiza gains 400 attack points for every one of my cards that has been banished!"
"What all of your banished cards!?" exclaimed Jaden.
"That is correct, and since there are 22 banished cards, Gren Maju gains a grand total of 8800 attack points! (Atk: ? - 8800 Def: ? - 8800)" The gain a dark aura as it powered up substantially. "Battle, Gren Maju Da Eiza, attack and finish Jaden of!" The crimson demon lunged forward to ttak Jaden.
"If Jaden gets hit by it he'll lose!" Chumley pointed out.
"Not happening, go trap Sakuretsu Armor! This will destroy your Gren Maju!" An armor being reappears onto the field and charges at Gren Maju, destroying it.
"Impressive once again, I set one card facedown and end my turn." Banner ends his turn.

"It's my turn I draw!" Jaden draws.
Hand 4
"Go continuous trap Call of the Haunted! I special summon Gren Maju Da Eiza from the graveyard! Return my mighty beast! (Atk: ? - 8800 Def: ? - 8800)" The red-scaled demon reappears on the field, all powered up.
"Argh, deck don't fail me now. I play the spell Pot of Greed! So I draw 2 more cards!" Jaden draws his cards. One of those cards he was surprised about. 'It came out!'
Flashback
Earlier, as Jaden and Red Hat were running after the Mark of Amnael. Red Hat took out a card from his poket. "Jaden, heres a card I want to give you. It may come in handy for this duel."
Jaden took the card Red Hat gave and took a look at it. "Dimension Fusion? Why give me this card?"
"I want you to have it Jaden. It may not always be practical, but it couldn't hurt right?" Red Hat replied.
Jaden smiled as he put the card in his deck box. "Thanks Red Hat I'll make sure to make good use of it this duel."
Red Hat nodded. "Let's take down this Shadow Rider."
Flashback end
'Time to put this card to the test.' Jaden thought with a smile. "I activate the spell card, Dimension Fusion!"
"Dimsension Fusion?" Banner repeated, confused that Jaden had such a card.
"What does that card do?" Syrus wondered.
"By paying 2000 life points, both of us get to special summon as many of our banished monsters as possible. Since you discarded many of my monsters with Card Destruction, I get to bring those monsters back." Jaden explained as a giant portal appeared above them.
"But I also get to special summon Banished Monsters. Return, D.D. Assailant, Golden Homunculus, Banisher of the Radiance, and D.D. Survivor! (Atk: 1700 Def: 1600) (Atk: 1500 - 6900 Def: 1500 - 6900) (Atk: 1600 Def: 0) (Atk: 1800 Def: 200)" Banners monsters reappeared on the field. One of those monsters was a gigantic, golden golem. "Golden Homunculus effect, he gains 300 attack and defense points for each of my banished cards. Since they are 18 cards thats 5400 more attack points! Gren Manju gets weaker because Banished cards return. (Atk: 8800 - 7200 Def: 8800 - 7200)"
"I special summon back Elemental HERO Sparkman, Elemental HERO Avian, Elemental HERO Clayman, Elemental HERO Bubbleman, and Elemental HERO Burstinatrix! (Atk: 1600 Def: 1400) (Atk: 1000 Def: 1000) (Atk: 800 Def: 2000) (Atk: 800 Def: 1200) (Atk: 1200 Def: 800)" The main five heros appeared on Jaden's field.
"Jaden, you know what to do. End this duel!" Red Hat said.
"You got that right! First I play Polymerization! I fuse Elemental HERO Sparkman and King of the Swamp in my hand to fusion summon Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman! (Atk: 2500 Def: 2100)" Shining Flare Wingman appears on the field. "Next I play the spell Miracle Fusion! By banishing monsters from my field or graveyard I can fusion summon and Elemental HERO. Fusion summon, Elemental HERO Electrum! (Atk: 2900 Def: 2600)" A big, well built man in shinny, golden armor with a large 'E' in the center of his chest appears on the field.
Banner gritted his teeth as Electrum and Shining Flare Wingman glowed then, to his shock... all of his bansished cards were sucked into his deck. "All my cards! They're returning to my deck!"
"Just banished cards, but not just yours..." Jaden pointed out. The same pattered happened to Jaden as all his cards returned to the deck. "My banished cards also returned to the deck. With no more banished cards in your banish zone. Gren Maju and Golden Homunulus looses their attack power!" Gren Maju power weakened and shrinked in size, meanwhile Golden Humunculus darkened. (Atk: 7200 - 0 Def: 7200 - 0) (Atk: 6900 - 1500 Def: 6900 - 1500) "That's not all Electrum has more effects. You see he's also treated as Fire Water Wind and Earth attribute. Electrum also gains 300 attack points for every monster you control that shares his attribute. That's four monsters, since D.D. Survivor is a dark monster. (Atk: 2900 - 4100 Def: 2600)"
"4100 attack points!?" Banner exclaimed.
"It's over Banner. Shining Flare Wingman attack his Banisher of the Radiance! Shining Emerald Orb!" Shining Flare Wingman flies up and launches a green energy ball at the monster, destroying it.
Banner: 4300 - 3400 LP
"Don't forget my Wingman's super power, since your monster hit the graveyard you take damage equal to it's attack points!" Shining Flare Wingman flew close to Banner and radiated a powerful light. Banner covered his face from the bright light.
Banner: 3400 - 1800 LP
"And now, Electrum attack his Gren Maju Da Eiza! Elemental Radiant Burst! (Atk: 4100 - 3800 Def: 2600)" As Electrum glowed even brighter, with a mix of blue and white light, Banner... smiled at his outcome before the hero's shinning rays blew Gren Maju to pieces. He screamed and fell to his knees. His tome fell t the floor and it's golden eye symbol broke into small bits.
Banner: 1900 - 0 LP
As Jaden's duel disk turned off, the whole room began to shake violently.
At that moment, the laser beams of light vanished and the 5 spirit gates closed. At the same time all the duelist that were held captive in Banner's tome returned to the island, one by one. Chazz materialized, laying against a tree near the sopt where he dueled Amnael. Alexis appeared back at the spot she was defeated. Atticus appeared back in his room, unconscious, just as the rest of them were.
"Professor Banner." Jaden said as he, Red Hat and the rest of the gang approached their former teacher.
"Jaden, Red Hat, you both passed your final exam with flying colors. Listen carefully to me Red Hat." Banner looked up to Red Hat. Parts of his face crumbling away. "That person you faced, it was not the real Blair. That was a fake created by me and the one whos really behind all of this. That copy was a fake to torment you with all of your lethal strategies you used to use."
Red Hat looks at his former teacher as he spoke. Red Hat eyes soften as he heard that. 'So that Blair was a fake... Was that one of your test Banner?' He thought, but he couldn't help that he still felt the sting from the fake Blair's words.
"I'm sorry for pulling such underhanded tactics against you Red Hat. You needed to learn what kind of hard ships one has to take. Listen Red Hat, never give in to fear and the darkness. Fear creates anger, anger creates hate, and hate creates suffering. Do remember that and I hope you can forgive me." Banner gave them a weak smile.
"I... I forgive you Professor Banner." Red Hat said.
"The one who has supported my research has gained a mighty power... and, before he was aware of it, his mind became clouded. Jaden, Red Hat, an even greater disaster will eventually happen on this island. I had to nurture the power to oppose that disater. Take this." He picked up his tome and held it out to Jaden.
"But it's your book." Jaden reached for it and took it by one end.
"Jaden, the only one who is able to defend against the great disaster is... you and Red Hat... Please... don't fail me... I believe... in you two..." Those were Banner's last words before his whole body crumbled into nothing. All that was left was his robes and a large pile of dust.
"Professor Banner!" Jaden and Red Hat cried out. At that moment, the gang heard something and turned just in time to see Banner's original (and mummified) body become dust as well.
"What is all of this?" Jaden muttered.
"Banner... I'll never forget you..." Red Hat said, giving his remains a sad look.
Unbeknownst to the gang, Pharaoh approached the remains of Banner's cloned body, from which a small ball of light emerged. Pharaoh came after it as it tried to leave.
"I never would've thought that Professor Banner was with the Shadow Riders..." Syrus said.
"It's true... Still with this, the seven Shadow Riders have all been defeated." Jaden replied.
"So, it means peace..."
"...is coming back tot he island!" Chumley noted.
"No, we don't know that. Banner said that an even bigger disaster's going to happen on this island." JAden said as he stared at the tome.
"He's right." Red Hat ndded. "What's coming up will be a lot worse. We need to be ready."
While the boys talked to each other, Pharaoh swallowed the ball of light, making it rest within him.
Red Hat looked to where the remains of the fake Blair. He took the deck from the duel disk and hid the deck in an empty deck box he had. 'This deck must never be used in the wrong hands. Not only am I not using this deck, no one can. Least not anymore. I also want to abandon my chaos deck.' Red Hat mood soured, although he wasn't angry. 'To think, they would use Blair and this deck to torment me... Am I really that bad...' Red Hat soon walked away, back to the exit. With Jaden and the others following behind him.
A/N: This took way longer then necessary. Anyway, what better way then to force Red Hat go against Hand Control. There's a reason those cards irl are never getting unbanned. It's also why Yata-Garasu was such an obnoxious enabler back in the day. Banner's deck here is based off the one he uses in Tag Force 1 using both Helios and D.D. "Archetype" of banishing monsters which includes Gren Manju Da Eiza. Alchemy Beast is a horrible anime deck. This is why themes and Symbolism don't translate well into card design. The fact Alexis and Chazz lose to that deck and an unknown spell card is just ridiculous. It's one of the worst anime decks I ever seen and I seen plenty. Macro Cosmos anime effect only works on Banner's side and needs to banish Chaos Distil first. Anime Helios cards revive even if they are banished. Why were they printed with graveyard effects is beyond me. I can sit here and explain why Alcemy Beast are god awful, but I'd be here all day if that's the case. So I'll leave it at that. Some of you may very much dislike that I used a fake copy to force conflict, but I don't care. That bit of bias aside, next time something a little different. Until next time.
