The next morning Adam woke noticing Kim was still sound asleep with the cat still sleeping on her chest. He smiled loving how happy she was after such a frightening experience the day before. He had been scared himself as he never saw another officer shot before. And he never even thought about it being Roman he just knew he needed to help. However he was more frightened hearing Kim was being brought in. They all knew going forward they needed to work to lower her stress level and to keep her calm. He knew it would be difficult since she had such a huge heart and cared for so many people but this needed to happen. He would even bribe her with food if it helped keep her calm. He didn't care he just wanted her to be happy and healthy.

He watched a bit longer before he saw Tiger starting to wake. He stretched out a bit before standing up nudging Kim's face. "Buddy let Kim sleep." He picked him up moving him off Kim but he headed right back to her. He wanted her awake. He moved to her pillow next. Adam watched unsure of what would happen next. Adam watched as Tiger pawed at Kim's hair. "Buddy what are you doing?" Adam was very confused but not overly concerned. He watched as Tiger picked up a chunk of Kim's hair placing it in his mouth before tugging on it. Kim yelped in surprise. Confused as to what just happened. She heard Adam laughing. "What just happened?" Kim asked feeling Tiger walking down her face to settle on her chest again. "Um apparently he wanted you to wake but when I moved him so he would stop nudging your face he moved to your pillow and pulled your hair in his mouth." Adam cracked up again. He had no idea cats were so smart and crazy.

"Really! What the hell buddy?" Kim looked at the cat lying on her getting scratched. "Are you getting visits from my boy? Does he tell you what to do?" She asked the cat like he could understand. "Wait your old cat used to do that too?" He asked confused and surprised. "Yup but he was a shit and learned he didn't have to use his paws. He would just bite on my scalp pulling the hair right by the roots. I feel like they are communicating somehow." Kim laughed a bit. "Maybe. I know he's with you still so it's possible. I can tell you Tiger did not appreciate being removed from your chest earlier. Such a little brat." They both laughed petting the cat. "I have always said cats are assholes. And it's so true. But lord knows I still love them." Kim smiled at Adam.

"Tell me some funny stories." He knew she was thinking of her boy right now. "He used to love hanging out under the bed waiting for me to walk by so he could run out and attack my feet before running away." She paused as he laughed. "He would jump into the laundry hamper. Screaming like he was stuck waiting for me to get him out. As soon as I would try he would bite me. Like it was a trap!" Adam laughed harder. "He would run around the house and up and down the stairs like a maniac. And randomly would just run over jump up bite my arm and take off again. The kitten years were crazy!" Kim laughed thinking about him. "He loved people food. Would climb all over us trying to get the food he liked. We called him Monster a lot because of that. We would go to the bathroom together. I could never pee alone. He hated me showering alone too. He always had to sit between the curtain and liner to watch." Kim was staring off. "Sounds like a perv!" Adam laughed knowing she needed to smile some.

"Maybe he did bite my boob once. And when I carried him his foot would always go in my shirt and into the bra. I think I have photos somewhere of that." He watched her pause and really think before she spoke next. "I still have the shirt. He wasn't really eating before he was put down but he had it all over his face. Anyway when he seized I grabbed him and held him close. I held him the whole way to the emergency vet. I still haven't washed that shirt. I just can't wash it." He knew she needed to cry but she was holding back. "Hey just cry. It's okay. You can still be mourning his loss all these later." He tried to comfort her but Tiger was in the way. "Adam it was only less than 5 years ago." She watched him get shocked. "Oh so it's still pretty fresh. No wonder this one stole your heart. You have a void that needed filling." It all made sense now.

"I want you to promise me something. Can you do that?" She asked looking over with hope and fear. "Anything!" He had no idea where this was going. "See this scar?" She pointed to a spot on her arm. "Yeah." He was so confused. "It's a fang mark from playtime that got out of control. I keep saying I want to get it highlighted with his name and dates. I keep chickening out. But it keeps getting lighter. I don't want it to fade completely and never forget it and him. So when I'm not pregnant anymore will you go with me?" Tears in her eyes knowing she needed this. "You want to get it tattooed?" He asked making sure they were on the same page. "Yeah. White ink so it's not totally noticeable but I think I need to do this." She looked up seeing nothing but love in his eyes. "Absolutely! We will do that! I think it's a beautiful idea. A lovely way to honor him with his love bite." He rolled so he could kiss her lovingly. He watched her nod trying to hold back the tears. "What was his name? No one has ever told me." He wanted to know more to honor her first fur baby, her first child. "Pierre. He came with the name and I felt like it would confuse him to change it. I got him in 2002 and we had to let him go in 2019. It hurt like fucking hell. Still does." Kim closed her eyes trying to hold it together.

"I'm sure it does. I know I've seen his ashes, his paw print and a jar with his fur. Maybe we could add some photos to go with it?" He wasn't sure how she would feel about it. "That would be lovely. I actually have a wooden picture that I just never hung up. Maybe you could do that for me?" She didn't really need to ask. "Absolutely! I would do it without you asking. If I had known about it before hand it would be up already. So this weekend it will be done." He kissed her shortly hearing their door opening. "Well hello kiddos!" Kim smiled but was surprised to see both kids walking in. "Excuse me! What are you two doing up already?" Adam asked seeing both kids climbing into the bed. "I was up and I heard Riley moving so we came here to see if you guys were up." Allie answered as she climbed further into the bed to pet Tiger. "Well we still have a bit of time before we need to get moving so how about we snuggle for a bit." Adam knew they would be thrilled.

"So kiddos your dad and I wanted to talk to you about the baby." Adam watched the kids as Kim spoke. "Yesterday we found out that the baby is a boy. How do you feel about that?" Kim was hoping this went better than the announcement. Riley cheered excited for a brother. Allie looked not pleased at all. "Okay. I was hoping for a sister. I guess Riley will just have to play princesses with me." Allie sighed dramatically. Adam laughed while Riley looked sick. He didn't do girly things at all and always hated it when Allie tried to dress him up. "Well maybe Aunt Erin and Uncle with have another kid?" Kim totally throwing them under the bus. "Or she could hang out with Eva. I know she's a bit older but it could be fun for them both." Adam suggested hoping that would go over better. "Maybe. We will have to ask Antonio." Kim actually liked that idea a lot.

The small family relaxed for a bit petting the cat enjoying the quiet time. Adam watched as Riley sat up a bit putting hand on Kim's belly. "Brother." He looked back at Adam. "That's right buddy. Your little brother is in there." They all watched in awe Riley leaned in to kiss the belly. "You are such a sweet little boy!" Kim lifted him to kiss his cheek. "Does he have a name yet or are we just calling him baby?" Allie asked unsure what her parents were thinking. "We did come up with a name. So remember how mom and I met years ago at the beach?" Adam asked both kids, more Allie though. "Yes before the bad man hurt her." Allie replied knowing it was a rape now but didn't use the word. "That's right. Well that time we stayed on Christopher Drive. So we decided it would only make sense to name him Christopher." Adam explained knowing how special it was to them both. "That's cool. Can we call him Chris for short?" Allie asked. "I'm good with that. Might be easier for Riley to say too." Kim had no issues with it and neither did Adam. They were just happy the kids seemed to be happy with it.

"Alright kiddos bathroom time then down for breakfast. Give mom time to shower." Adam helped Riley down as they headed out of the room. Allie running towards her room, Riley running too but was much slower with his little legs. Adam watched till they were gone before kissing Kim long and slow. "Enjoy your shower. Come on little man. Head down for breakfast." Adam scooped Tiger up removing him from the room. "Let the lady have some privacy." Adam laughed picking up Kim's habit of talking to the cat like he can understand. Kim just laughed watching them as she headed to the bathroom to shower and get ready. She could hear the kids talking as they got ready for the day. She also noticed Tiger hadn't come back yet so she assumed Adam closed their door.

Adam headed down the stairs with the cat in tow making sure he left Kim alone while she showered. Last thing they needed this morning was the cat falling into the tub getting soaked. They had no time for that. Allie helped Riley down the stairs to the kitchen to start her morning routine of feeding the cat and cleaning out his litter box. They were all surprised that she never complained about cleaning out the box and never complained about the smell. They didn't question it though. Tiger happily ate breakfast while Adam cooked. Adam finished cooking helping the kids sit to eat while Kim was finishing up. He could hear her moving around. She came down shortly after to eat and make lunches while Adam showered. Allie had headed back to her room to change for the day. And Riley played with Tiger who was done eating now. As soon as Kim finished she took Riley to get changed for the day.

Adam was finished by then so he took the kids down to get them in the car. Kim not far behind them. It was already getting harder for Kim to lift Riley with her belly so Adam followed her to the daycare to drop Riley off before heading to work. Allie was easy to get in and out of the car especially since she could buckle herself in and out. Kim always watched till she was safely inside before heading to work. Kim,arrived noticing Adam was waiting for her in front of the district. "Hey I figured we could walk in together." Kim watched him as they walked. "Stop babying me! I'm not fragile." She knew what he was up to. He threw he hands up in defense. "I just know it's getting harder with how big he's growing and it's making it hard for you to see your feet. You've done well so far but I know it's coming so just lean on me." He kissed her softly trying to defuse her mood.

"Might be true. But I need to still feel strong here. I don't want to be seen as weak." Kim almost protested. "I get it. And that's fine. But you are growing a 2 foot child. You are anything but weak." He led her into the district with him close behind her. The couple entered the bullpen back to smiling the tiny tiff long forgotten. "Morning! How are we doing today?" Kevin asked seeing them. "Good. Riley is excited for a baby brother. Allie not so much. She's threatening to dress up Riley in princess costumes. He looked like he was going to throw up. It was quite the funny morning." Kim explained laughing at the kids. "Oh but don't forget you told Allie that maybe Aunt Erin and Uncle Jay might have another and maybe it will be a girl first her to dress up." Adam totally called her out. Erin and Jay both choking with shock. "Really? Kim!" Erin wasn't really mad but still. "Sorry I didn't know what to say!" Kim felt bad but it was funny.

"I'm all for it! She's the hold out so far." Jay stated knowing he wanted more kids. "Well we can't talk about it till Kim's back. You know the deal but after we can talk again." Erin offered a pinky in a pinky swear. The team smiled knowing this was progress for the couple. "It's nice when you can plan it. Even if ours was earlier than we would have liked. And knowing he would be thrilled made it better." Kim shrugged knowing their first wasn't planned. "Yeah true. We shall see." Erin offers as she headed to her desk. Shortly after the team headed out on a case. Kim stayed behind working the case. She had no radio this time but Mouse tried to work as much as he could from the bullpen to keep an eye on her. He knew the team was headed back when Kim got a call on her desk phone. He watched her on the call sighing heavily. He never heard the conversation but he let Adam know about the call.

He jogged up the stairs quickly. "Hey you alright?" Adam rushed out. "Yeah why?" Kim was confused and worried. "Mouse said you took a call and it looked bad. What happened?" He asked more calm seeing her was fine. "Oh it's not about me or our family." She paused looking over towards Erin. "Hey Er? Domestic call at the rehab your mom is in. Someone smuggled drugs in to her." Kim sighed again. Adam got it now. She was sad for Erin. "Thanks for the head up. I will head over now." Erin grabbed her things to head out again. Jay not far behind her. Voight nodded at Kim knowing she did the right thing letting them know but also waiting till the team returned as not to disturb the case. Everyone continued to work but Erin was never far from Kim's mind.

She was so focused on her work she hadn't seen the food placed before her. Adam watched her pout. "What?" He was surprised normally she was excited for food. "I'm craving Chinese food." She looked up with hope. "Nope absolutely not. You are allergic to soy. You will be sick for the next few days if you eat that. So not happening. I will happily get you Thai, Indian, whatever else. But no Chinese food." He watched her get upset, they all did. "Kim darling you know your body can't handle soy. And the doctors warned the allergies could get worse while pregnant. So please work with me on this. Thai fried rice with chicken?" He asked hoping to get through to her. She nodded with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry. I just want to protect you." He watched her nod wiping her tears away. "Okay Im gonna order your food." He rubbed her back looking like he just got hit by a freight train.

He took the extra food and put it in the fridge knowing someone would eat it later. He took a minute to call in the order. He wasn't surprised that all the men followed him looking scared. "That was scary!" Kevin shivered looking towards Kim. "Yup! But you did good kid. It's for her own good." Al patted his back as they all headed back out leaving Adam still stunned. "Okay darling food is ordered. Till then here's some fruit." He watched her nod smiling at the fruit. He sighed letting out the breath he didn't know he was holding in. It seemed like she moved past the bump in the road. Her food arrived pretty quick as he shamelessly told them she was pregnant and needed food before she snapped. He placed in front of her seeing her smiling wide again.

Erin and Jay arrived back looking exhausted. "Is she okay?" Kim asked. "Yeah but she's being kicked out. She's being held for the domestic assault while she detoxes again. They told us her daughter brought her the drugs. But I'm her only daughter. So we got the surveillance camera footage to see who this person was." Erin shrugged. "Great we will figure it out." Kim returned to eating her lunch. "Guys there is extra food in the fridge if you want it." Adam offered up Kim's passed over lunch. "Thanks I'm starving." Jay headed for the food. The work continued everyone working their task. Mouse cane in showing Erin a picture of the person who brought drugs to Bunny. "I don't know them. At least I don't think so." Erin shrugged. "Can I see it? I worked patrol long enough to know lots of shady people." Kim wanted to see it. Mouse handed her the picture. She stared at it for a good minute. "Erin! You know this stupid chick!" Kim got up handing it to Jay. "Shit that's Erin's friend turned enemy. Stephanie right?" Jay asked. "Yup! That's the chick. Stupid bitch." Kim scuffed as she walked away.

"Kim? Did you forget you beat her ass and I bailed you out?" Voight asked as Adam choked. "Well she purposely tripped Erin and she sprained her wrist. So she couldn't fight back so I did. She's lucky she got off easy." Kim smirked knowing Voight was damn proud of her. Erin was cracking up at this point knowing it was funny as hell to watch. "You beat someone up?" Adam was shocked but also proud. "Yeah she deserved it. But also it was my first year back to school. And I had some anger issues." Kim shrugged still smirking. "Damn proud of you girl!" Adam got up to hug her. "Always looking out for others." He couldn't help but feel her gasp before he heard it. "What's wrong?" He asked seeing her smiling but in tears. "I felt the flutters. I feel him moving." The whole team laughing but also cheering. Most knew it was an incredible feeling. That was crazy to explain but also very emotional.

"That's crazy! But amazing! Im so happy to have experienced this first hand. Crazy good!" He hugged her a bit longer before the team started to work again. Patrol officers going out to arrest Stephanie and the team working on their case. Kim headed out just about 4 to grab the kids. She got Allie first and then headed for Riley. Both kids were excited to see her but also to tell her all about their days. It was crazy loud but Kim loved every second of it. As soon as they arrived home Kim starts to make dinner for the kids. Knowing they were probably hungry and she would need to eat soon too. She could hear the kids laughing as they played together. "Kids outside for a bit." The house was getting too loud and she needed a break. Dinner was in the oven as Kim headed outside seeing the kids playing. They were both chasing a ball around. Allie was faster but she was fair in letting Riley get the ball too. Kims phone beeped and saw it was Will. That was different.

He apparently was sick and couldn't keep Drew any longer. Kim agreed to take him but Will had to bring him since dinner was cooking already. He agreed right away. Kim hung out with the kids till Drew arrived. "Kids inside. Drew is here and dinner will be ready soon. The kids ran inside excitedly. "Hey Kim thanks for this!" Will wore a mask and kept a distance. "It's all good. I got this. Do they know?" Kim asked. He nodded laughing before he left coughing hard. Kim closed the door then hugging Drew. He was basically one of her kids. "Alright kids. Wash up and then dinner!" The kids all ran to the powder room to wash their hands. Kim plated dinner for all three kids. She had made a simple baked ziti with a meat sauce. None of the kids would complain about this one. They all talked during the meal Kim laughing at the loud noises.

After dinner the kids played games while Kim cleaned up the kitchen. Once it was done the kids were still playing but they were a mess. Especially the boys. "Okay Allie shower time. Boys bath time!" All the kids moved up the stairs to get washed up. It was crazy messy but fun as hell. As soon as the boys were done Kim dried them off and dressed them in jammies. Allie was also dressed for bed but needed help drying her hair. "Okay boys play in Ry's room till I'm done with Allie's hair. Luckily it didn't take long to finish drying her hair. The kids all ran downstairs again to play games. Kim took pictures to send to Adam, Eric and the Halstead's. She always wanted them kept in the loop on how Drew was doing when she had him. They never really worried about that but they appreciated all the same.

Just about 8 Kim took the boys up to bed. They were both falling asleep ready so it was best. Neither put up a fight but Kim had to have them walk. She couldn't carry them. Neither lasted through a full book before they were out cold. Kim headed back down to find Allie playing quietly with Tiger. It was just then her phone rang. It was Eric so Kim handed the phone to Allie allowing her time to talk to her father. Kim could only imagine how amused he must have been hearing her animated conversation. She talks with her full body when on the phone. Bouncing around, talking, hand movements. It was funny to watch. Both Kim and Adam had video of her talking on the phone to share since it was amusing to watch.

He hung up shortly after knowing she needed to go to bed soon. "Alright my sweet girl. Are you ready for bed time?" Kim asked watching her twirling her hair. "Yup!" She nodded dramatically. "Alright let's get you into bed now. Head up and pick your book." Kim,watched her head up. She texted Adam letting him know all three kids would be asleep soon. She just needed to know if she would have Drew all night. She left her phone to follow after Allie. She found her under her blanket with the book she wanted read. "Okay let's go this." Kim sat with her reading the book with her. She was asleep before the book was finished. She finished tucking her in and headed off to check on the boys then back downstairs. She saw Adam had texted that most likely she would have Drew all night but Bob would be there early to help with all the kids. Luckily Kim had a car seat for him so that was helpful.

She thanked Adam and headed over to the living room to clean up after the kids and then started the wash. The kids clothes were stained so this was necessary. Once the clothes were in the dryer Kim laid down in the couch to relax for a bit. She pet Tiger happily as she waited to see when Adam would be home. If he was coming home. It might be an all night case. Kim wasn't sure what was going to happen. She had no idea that she fell asleep on the couch with her little buddy. She was awoken hours later by Drew who was now sick. Coughing, runny nose, slight fever. "Alright bud let's get you back to bed with some medicine okay." She watched him nod. She got him settled again setting up the vaporizer next to him. She watched till he was settled again before heading to her room. She texted Erin right away.

"Guys I have to go. Drew is sick now. I can't leave Kim with a sick kid. That's not fair to her." Erin watched them nod as she headed to Kim's house. She had a key since they would get Drew late some nights. As soon as she arrived she found the cat sleeping downstairs. She moved to the guest room finding Drew sound asleep. She wasn't sure if she should move him. "Hey how's he doing?" Jay answered right away. "He's out cold. He's still warm, his nose snotty. Not sure I should move him while he's asleep. What do you think?" Erin asked unsure. "Just stay with him. If Kim wakes up and he's gone she will freak out. So just sleep there with him and leave in the morning when Kim's awake again." Jay knew moving a sleeping kid was hard enough but moving a sick one was not a fun option. "Okay you are right. If he was awake I wouldn't question it. But he's sound asleep. Alright. Be safe tonight. Love you." Erin was exhausted so this was okay for her. "Alright. Love you too. Sleep well." Jay hung up looking towards Adam feeling bad for the situation.

"It's all good man. No worries. I'm just happy Kim's asleep and so are the kids." Adam really didn't mind. Sick kids happen no big deal. And they had plenty of help to get everyone moving in the morning. "Thanks man! I do feel bad about Will dropping him off unexpectedly and now he's sick. Two kids and pregnant is hard enough. And she's working still. I feel bad." Jay shrugged knowing it wasn't his fault but still it sucked. "Well that is why I called pops. He's going to be at the house early to help with the kids. Kim is starting to struggle lifting Riley. So on late nights I'm gonna get help for the morning. It's for the best." Adam knew Kim would hate asking for help but this needed to be done. "That's great man! She needs the help and should take it while she can. Once the dirty diapers start the help may disappear." Antonio laughed knowing people hated that job. "Oh I know. Not looking forward to that again. We just got Ry out of them." He shook his head. "You got this! You are doing great. You handled a potential meltdown perfectly earlier. You this too!" Kevin had been impressed with how Adam handled Kim earlier. It could have gone bad very easily.

"Yeah that way tough. I would normally never say no to a craving but when she's allergic to that item it's not happening. Don't care how much she pouts. Watching her sick because I gave in would be a failure for sure." He knew she would understand once the hormones calmed again but in the moment it was scary and very rough on him. "What did I miss?" Jay asked knowing he missed something big. "Kim wanted Chinese food for lunch. Hence why you got the food from the fridge she didn't want. I got her to settle for Thai which seemed to work. But she was crying because I told her no. Because I wouldn't give in to her cravings. But the doctor clearly said her allergies could get worse with pregnancy. So I'm not risking it." Adam shook his head again. He never knew pregnancy could be like this. He knew it would be hard but that was a surprise he hadn't expected.

"Let's finish this!" Voight stated knowing they all needed this done. The tea was able to finish the case in the early hours of the morning. Voight ordered them all to take the data d paperwork could wait till the next day. Adam texted his dad letting him know he wasn't needed anymore. Adam would be home in time to help. Bob was fine with that. The guys entered the house just about 6. Jay headed straight to the guest room to see his wife and son still sound asleep. He picked up his son carefully so he could jump in bed with them. Adam started making lunch for the kids. He didn't want to sleep just yet. He finished and headed up to wake Kim. "Hey good morning darling." He watched she smile still partially asleep. "Hey what time is it?" She asked still waking up. "Almost 6:30. Jay, Erin and Drew are in the guest room asleep. I to.d my dad not to come over since I made it home. We all have the day off. So I can sleep after the kids are at school. But I don't want to lay down knowing I will sleep and be no help. So I'm gonna shower quick." He headed to the bathroom hearing her getting up to join him.

"Let's get you clean!" She pushed him towards the shower kissing him deeply. "Well damn! Someone excited this morning!" Adam kissed her hard. "This isn't safe in here with your belly unless we go from behind. Are you good with that?" He always liked to double check. "God yes!" She turned around allowing him to enter vaginally. They couple groaned at the feeling. He gave her his arm to bite trying to hide the loud moans she made as he thrusted hard into her. It was hard and fast but very satisfying for the couple. As the trembling subsided Adam turned her around to hug her tight. "I love you darling!" He held her till the tremors subsided fully before washing her and himself. "God I love you!" Kim sighed as they stepped out of the shower. "Let's get you dried off and dressed for the day." He kissed her and her belly. They got ready and headed off to the kids. "Hey Allie! The Halstead's are asleep so let's get ready quietly okay." She needed to say it first. "Okay mommy! Good morning!" Allie jumped up first a hug. "Morning my sweet girl. See you downstairs for breakfast." Kim kissed her daughter's cheek and headed out.

Adam headed into Riley's room to wake him quietly. "Hey bud! We got guests sleeping can you be quiet this morning." He asked. "Yes!" He giggled. "Great thank you buddy. Let's get you in the potty and then dressed for the day." Adam set him down watching him run to the bathroom. After he peed Adam helped him wash his hands and let him run back to his room. They watched Allie head down the stairs. Once Riley was dressed he headed down the stairs excited to see Kim. "Hey buddy! Good to see you are happy this morning!" Kim thanked god the kids seemed okay this morning. No signs of sickness yet. Kim had started breakfast already so they the kids fed and ready to leave for the day. Adam helped both kids into the car as Kim drove the kids to school. He got to hear all about their day yesterday as Kim drove. He loved this.

Riley was dropped off first which Adam had to help a bit with. Then Allie was dropped off next. Once they were alone they headed home to sleep a bit. Adam really needed it but Kim was just happy to snuggle up next to him. As they slept the Halstead's got up and lefts for the day but nothing before stripping the bed and starting the wash. Jay felt bad so he wanted to help. Erin drove them all home as Jay napped longer. When Adam woke a few hours later he saw Kim was awake just resting next to him. "Hey. How are you feeling?" He asked quietly. "I'm good. Still a little tired but I didn't want to sleep too long. Crazy night though. Glimpse into the future. With three kids. It went well enough till Drew was sick. That worried me." Kim admitted but he knew that already. "I'm glad it went well enough. He's a good kid. Jay felt horrible about the situation. So did Erin. She came straight here sleeping in the guest room since Drew was asleep still." He watched Kim's face turn to shock. "I had no idea she was here. I slept through it. Wow!" Kim was so surprised.

"It's all good. So are you still mad at me?" He asked unsure how she felt today. "Mad? Why would I be mad?" She asked wondering what she forgot. "Um the fact I said no to your craving yesterday. Everyone was scared you were going to explode." He watched her face change to knowing. "You were right! 100% but it's hard when your body really wants it. But I understand completely. The hormones don't help at all. So I'm sorry for being difficult." She smiled realizing how crazy it was. "It's all good. I did feel bad to saying no. Alright change of topic. How's the nugget? Still fluttering?" Adam asked holding her belly. "Oh absolutely! Definitely a Ruzek! Very active." Kim laughed knowing it was very true. "Good! I'm so happy he's happy and healthy. That is all I wanted." Adam kissed her. "So I know you are still tired so how about some time outside under our tree?" She asked watching his eyes light up.

"Sounds perfect! Let's go!" Adam helped her up and led her to the car. They were excited to go back to their favorite tree. The car ride was quiet but comfortable. Holding hands the whole time. Adam parked the car and the couple headed over to the tree. Placing a blanket on the ground before sitting down together. "Our own heaven!" She whispered. "Yes it is. Less than three weeks till we are in our other heaven. Less than 3 weeks till we get married in our secret ceremony. God I can't wait!" He kissed the side of her head. "Oh I know I have to find a dress. I still want to wear white just not a full wedding dress." He felt her giddiness running through her. "Sounds amazing! I can't wait to see it!" He squeezed her tight. "Let's enjoy this before we have to head out." She moving to hold him closer falling asleep on his chest.

The couple laid in the sun enjoying every moment of life. This amazing life they created together. It has been a crazy journey so far but they wouldn't have it any other way.
