Chapter 2

At the domain…

Yua paused oddly. "Where the hell is everyone?" she muttered.

"Didn't Yuuji tell you? Comic con!" Suguru said and laughed.

"You didn't go?"

He sighed. "I am still not… comfortable in public settings…" he said offhandedly. "Shockingly enough, Sukuna went with Chusi and Ryoto. They dressed up too," he laughed.

Yua snickered, Chusi is one of the very few people in this world that can get Sukuna to cooperate without force… then again…

"I am surprised he went to this…"

Suguru however, knew. He said he overheard Toshi's kids speaking with Lady Tiamat, she told them they are all going to be growing very fast and soon. They were getting too strong to remain in such young forms. "Odd thing was, she mentioned this when Ryoto was there… I don't know if that applies to him too?"

"I have no doubt it does." Yua replied. "Ryoto is growing in power remarkably fast. He has mastered elementals rather quickly, it also helps that he has dragons for friends so elementals would want to stay on his good side, he has learned of divine energy too, but he didn't appear that interested in it…"

Suguru nodded and explained he doesn't like chaining creatures to himself to become stronger. Divine users get their powers through contracts with divine creatures. Such an idea didn't sit well with Ryoto. Also being a child, he sees things differently, he was worried he would be separating friends from friends or family from family.

He really is a good kid.

"He has yet to learn curse energy despite his insane talent for it… at the same time…"

"Sukuna hasn't taken his mask off since the screaming incident… hell I have forgotten he has two faces." Suguru said.

Yua agreed. "He has to show his face before his son, Ryoto is old enough to understand."

"I wonder if it is really about his face?" Suguru said offhandedly.

"What do you mean?"

"Well… let's take into consideration this new school that Kiyoshi and his siblings are attending. They speak of Ryomen Sukuna… and let's admit to ourselves now, they are not going to say anything good about him."

"Fair… ah… I see." She saw where he was going with it. If he learns of Ryomen Sukuna in school when he attends, he may not listen nor respect his father after learning he IS Ryomen Sukuna… Resentment could also play a factor here too. "If that's the case, let's back off of that for now. Chusi will have it well in hand and if she needs help…"

"Speaking of help… the children…"

Yua froze. She suddenly began to wrap her arms around herself and shook her head. No matter what she tried, how she approached the five, they refused to even look at her. They leave the room when she enters… Yua hasn't hugged them since they were weaned. Saitama only hid behind her until he found better options, and since he has, she is avoided. They refuse any sort of interaction with her. She merely looked to Suguru and shook her head.

Suguru's calm exterior… shifted oddly. Yua felt him radiating with rage at this point. "I see…"

"I… I can't force them, WE can't force them to do anything they are not comfortable with, Suguru. All I can say is, as long as they eat, sleep and are healthy… it's… it's all… I could really ask…" she was choking back her tears. Yua wanted nothing more than to be a mother for her young children, but, after what Satoru pulled, she doubts they would ever give her the time of day.

She is aware that they listen to Suguru and their older siblings… at the moment it was enough for her.

"We are going to have a very stern talking to Satoru when he gets back from the comic convention… I know he went since he likes to run from his problems."

"No shit…" Yua muttered. "Where…"

"With Rook. He's been training and they watch him. Despite the fact he is human, they are rather taken to him."

"That's good then… at least the children will have a connection…"

She has to find something else to do, as of late. To distract the pain in her heart; Yua tries to see who needs the most help in the domain and attempt to assist them as best as she can…
