The shoemaker was confused by the reaction from the unfamiliar girl with long, thick, and kinky ombré blond hair. He didn't know why she recoiled from him. Judging by her mauve one-piece suit, maybe she was unfavorable or unimpressed by him. Her shorter accomplice ultimately gave his hand a firm shake. His eyes were redirected back to the former, whose wide eyes were fixed on him. "Are you okay, miss?"

"I'm fine," Astra voiced. Feeling overcame by the surreal moment, she tried to hold back her emotions from spilling out.

"Are you ladies looking for something here," he asked in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Funny you should ask," Spooner answered. "I think we might've found him."

He raised an eyebrow in further puzzlement. "Excuse me?"

She cut straight to the point. "You are Alex Logue, right?"

The man's face went blank at the sound of that name for a few moments. He composedly gave a different answer. "My name is Logan Fleming."

Astra was now perplexed. "Do you remember marrying a woman named Natalie Hunter?"

He shook his head with full conviction. "No, I don't have a wife by that name." He observed her clenching her fists, which started illuminating a red glow. "I'm telling you the truth. I don't know what you're talking about." He cringed and pointed at the menacing spectacle. "Stop doing that, please."

His pleading fell on deaf ears. "Are you really going to pretend you didn't remember? Your name is Alex Logue, and you did married Natalie Hunter. You have a child, a daughter named Astra. You must remember!" She unwittingly jolted an energy beam at one of the shelves. It ruined a full rack of shoes and a scorch mark on the wall. Logan was saddened by the condition of his product and began collecting the destroyed shoes.

Astra's fury subsided as she realized what she has done. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."

"Let us help you," Spooner volunteered as they approach near him.

He stopped them in their tracks with hurt in his eyes. He reprimanded, "You have done enough. Unless you wish to buy some shoes, get out."

Defeated and remorseful Astra headed for the door. She turned back to the shoemaker, saying, "Sorry for wasting your time. Come on, Spooner, let's go." Logan only listened to the bell ringing as he continued to clean up the mess. Though he consciously tried to repress his thoughts of the interaction, the voiced paternity claim lingered on. He said to himself, "I haven't been called by that name in a long time. I promised that I won't return to that identity."

Outside of the shop, the girls took a glance at the overlooked sign. The letters spelt Fleming's Shoes in mahogany paint on a beige board with green borders. "What now," the dark-haired Latina asked as she and Astra started walking. She glanced up at her fuming bestie.

"He's trying to erase my mom and me. Argh, whoever left that note in my room is..." She didn't finish her initial thought. "I'd rather put up with Gideon's ceaseless questions than that."

"Something did trigger him while we're in there."

"He obviously isn't going to tell us."

"Why don't we explore for a bit? It would take your mind off it." They ventured down the road and had a look around the sights. They eventually dropped by a gastropub to have lunch. There, Behrad called to check in on them. "Did you find him?"

"Yeah, we found him," Astra scoffed, munching her fish and chips.

Spooner polished off her chili con carne. She questioned, "B, when you found that file, did it mention anything about a name change?"

"Oh, right. I forgot to tell you," he remarked, snapping his fingers. "He legally changed his name to Logan Fleming in 2006, six months before he moved to Derbyshire."

That was the last straw for Astra. If he thought she was going to let him forget her and her mom, he's got another thing coming. "I'm going back there," she asserted. She leaped out of her seat and charged to the door.

"I don't think he would want to see you after you ruined his shoes." However, Astra didn't bear the warning in mind. She was already out in the streets.

"Spooner, what's happening," Behrad inquired.

She answered, "If you don't hear from us within the next hour, come find us." After that, she dashed after her, praying that she won't make a grave mistake.

Logan was mending the last pair of damaged shoes in the back of his shop. Using a needle and thread, he patched all of them up with scraps of leather. They were no longer in mint condition, but they were still wearable. He heard the bell ring and placed them down on his desk. When he arrived at the front, he was about to greet the presumed customer when he saw who it actually was. He groaned, "You."

"Yeah, me." Astra stood her ground unshakingly. Her hands were engulfed in flames as she glared at him.

He easily concealed his fear with apparent irritation. "I made myself very clear when I told you to leave. What do you want from me?"

"I have questions, and I'm not leaving until you answer them."

"You are only wasting your time. I'm not the man you're looking for."

"I know you changed your name. Why did you do it? Was it because of the exorcism?"

He continuously shook his head. "I don't think I'd never met someone so willful. Why does all of this matter to you so much? Who are you anyway?"

Spooner bolted in, catching her breath. "Wait." She stood between the temperamental sorceress and the vexed shoemaker. "Astra, don't. It isn't worth it."

He can no longer retain his facade. He flabbergastedly asked, "What did you call her?"

The tall, curly-haired girl extinguished the flames and crossed her arms. "Allow me to introduce myself," she replied sardonically. "I'm Astra, your daughter." He gaped at her with disbelieving shock.

A/N: Alex Logue's name change is not canon as well as Natalie's surname. If anything, it is based off the actress that portrayed her, Alice Hunter.
