And wow…on ao3, Kinktober is really going at it with Hakuno. Some crazy author is doing 31 chapters for 31 days with Hakuno. Mokyo, as a person of smut culture you are appreciated for giving Hakuno the pretty boys that needed some love. Said author actually uses Prototype Arthur and Hakuno a few times and I can't help but grin at a certain anime where their voice actors have a sort of romance thing going on with their characters.
The anime I just mentioned is called The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent. Funny how both Hakuno and Morgan are going charmed by both Arthur and Merlin at the same time in one anime. Truly, Jokes are the Deepest Lore in Type Moon.
Soon, Saber Wars II will be out, and I'm stuck between either getting Space Ishtar for the Rinface collection or Ecchan to complete my Saberface collection (at the current NA release). Truly, Gacha is bad civilization…

The magus, now a witch smiled at the children as she handed them potions. These were orphans and had been a new reason for her recent potion making habits. The slums of Orario, a place where the poor are left behind had been struggling with things ever since a dark moment in Orario with the advent of Evilus. She decided to help the children, elderly and the sick with giving them potions to help improve their health.
Mother was also in on this, finding Hakuno's caring nature to be the reason she favored the girl as her daughter as she used what spare money they had (since Hakuno's habit of clearing out monsters was a chore with Lili easily collecting the magic stones for quick money) to make meals to give out. The slums regarded the Hestia Familia as one who reminded them the comfort and joy of home as several hearths were built from scraps and lit as gratitude to the Hestia Familia, vowing to aid anyone from their Familia in any way possible.
Kindness was not lost in Orario after all, it seems.
"Ah! The Holy Witch!"

Hakuno waved, her new black dress and veil swallowing sunlight as she moved through the slums making her deliveries.
Holy Witch, to think that after she slayed the Goliath, the Denatus was quick to give her that nickname despite not leveling up yet. She took it with stride because it describes her fittingly when she describes the detail to Hestia. With that, Hestia took it with stride as well as their Familia was popular with the people living in the slums.
"So Hakuno~" Hestia sang out as her daughter looked at her. "What kind of spell have you been busy working on so early in the morning?" she asked curiously as Hakuno blinked at that. She was surprised Mother had caught on to that little thing.
"…a construct of mana." Hakuno admitted as Hestia looked confused. So, Hakuno decided to enlighten her by showing it. Letting the black mana out, she willed it to give shape around her as a demonic entity towered protectively over the Holy Witch as Hestia flinched at the sight of the creature before hearing awe from the children behind them.
They were cheering for her and Hakuno had the decency to look embarrassed by their praise.

"So, Hermes…" spoke a scantly clad woman as she looked at the traveling god Hermes with a raised brow as he handed her a package. "What has caused Freya to start coming down from her throne?" she asked while the god cupped his chin in thought.
"From what I gathered; she's been snooping for information on a girl named Hakuno Kishinami." The god replied as he tipped his hat with a wry smile. "Even I, Hermes, do not have enough information on the girl. She's kept herself off the radar when outside the Dungeon." He admits with what appeared to be grudging respect.
Now the goddess named Ishtar smirked, deciding that this girl, known recently as the Holy Witch would be quite a boon to her Familia if the rumors of her magic was true. If she gathered the appropriate information, she could lure the girl and then charm her into her own slave. With that in mind, a plan was beginning to go underway.
Beware goddess, for something wicked this way comes…

Haruhime grew up listening to many tales of heroes and monsters, but there were also tales involving witches as well. They were either tricksters, faithful allies, or terrifying enemies depending on the tale and the context of them. But there was one major rule that scared children from interacting with them: Never make an enemy of a witch.
Bad things happen when you do so as she was busy trying to comfort some orphan children kidnapped by Ishtar to be used as bait. They were afraid and crying their hearts out as her ears picked up screams and explosions in the far distance better than anyone else. Fear gripped her heart as she heard of the Holy Witch and her ability to kill a Monster Rex with one attack. Each second the sounds of destruction drew closer her heart rate spiked.
Then, a knock on the door.
"…Is this the Ishtar Familia home?" a soft voice spoke from behind it.
Ishtar blinked. Her Familia blinked. Heck, even the children who knew that voice blinked.
"Er…Yes?" Lena answered before the door exploded into splinters as the Holy Witch stepped in with a rather calm expression on her face. Yet Haruhime knew this was bad, those eyes were icy blue, and filled with the winter's chill as she trembled. The children stood protectively in front of her as Hakuno gazed their way and smiled softly in understanding. Haruhime was their friend during their time captive, thus spared of the witch's wrath.
"So…what brought about this ridiculous attempt to call me here?" Hakuno demanded calmly as Phryne Jamil snorted at the girl. The toad woman sneering at her while Hakuno looked at her oddly.
"Such a plain girl. To think someone like her could be that powerful. Me, that plainness only helps exemplify my beauty!" Phryne proclaimed while everyone else glared at her with contempt.
"My, to see such a repulsive soul both inside and out. Even Shinji, compared to a talking rat that reveled in its own filth was more hygienic than this depraved warty windbag. Where did you find this monster in the Dungeon exactly? I want one as a familiar." Hakuno admitted with a hand over her mouth in mock surprise as Phyrine's eyes bulged out in anger as several snickers at the insult.
"Warty windbag!? I'll make a clarinet out of you…!" the repulsive monster woman snarled as she charged at Hakuno with her massive axe and swung down. Only for a hand made of black mana to grab and break the arm in its grip as she dropped it in pain.
"Well, best time to try out my new spell. If anything, Naruto and Sasuke inspired this one when they fought against Kingprotrea." Hakuno muttered as her construct of mana grinned demonically at the giant Amazoness. "Vortigern, show this detestable woman the true meaning of pain." She commanded as the living form of black mana began playtime with Phryne Jamil while Hakuno made her way towards the rest of the Ishtar Familia that had their weapons drawn.
"Be at ease Kishinami, I am only interested in recruiting you to my side." Ishtar told her as she paused in her step while they all ignored Phryne's anguished screams as the Vortigern construct was making a gory mess of her with savage cruelty while Haruhime attempted to shield the children's eyes as they were watching the beatdown with rapid interest. Heck, they were cheering the Vortigern entity with clapping hands and cheers.
"Why? What could be so important to recruit me and kidnap children just to get my attention?" Hakuno calmly asked, her now icy blue eyes glaring at Ishtar with distrust. The goddess merely smirked as she prepared to use the full power of her charm on Hakuno.
"Why you ask? To defeat that so called goddess of beauty Freya and her Familia and prove that I am the most beautiful of all!" she answered as she stripped bare and let her charm do the work for her. Hakuno's eyes widened in surprise before returning to a much calmer expression, almost deadpan one.
"…That's it? Because Freya is more beautiful than you? Isn't that a bit…pathetic?" Hakuno asked in a flat tone as Ishtar did a double take in shock as her other Familia members were alarmed by what they were seeing.
"T-T-That's impossible! You were able to resist my charm?! HOW?!" Ishtar screamed out as her confidence turned into desperation.
"Don't underestimate me, I'm a virgin. Compared to the beautiful boys and girls I've met on the Moon Cell, and dealing with Kiara Sessyoin's attempts of seductions, you're rather plain in terms of body appeal and charm." Hakuno retorted. Ishtar could only scream out as she lunged for Hakuno, her dignity and pride ruined by such savage words that burned her soul only for a magically constructed spear to impale her torso. "Honestly, such a useless goddess." The girl commented as Ishtar felt that insult etch itself into her very being as she was being pulled back to Tenkai, mentally cursing the girl as her soul was being leaving the body as it fell to the side.
She turned her attention towards the rest of Ishtar's now former Familia members as she glared at them. They flinched in fear as they realized their Falna is now gone and were not powerful enough to deal with her. "Since you're involved with the whole thing, I believe a good spanking is involved…" Hakuno smirked, her icy blue eyes dancing with hints of sadism.
"After that, Aisha-san requested I be taken into her Familia to keep me safe from others who want to abuse my abilities like Ishtar did." Haruhime finished as the entire Takemikazuchi Familia, and one knight listened with rapt attention. "I've been living with them for a month and a half, and I love my new Familia. Hestia-sama is kind and compassionate, Lady Hakuno makes sure I am properly fed and have appropriate clothing for the seasons and Bell-sama is a good friend to converse to when it comes to tales about heroes."
It was surreal, to think that so much changed in a short amount of time the Holy Witch appeared in Orario as the knight in question spoke up. "Can I speak with Lady Hakuno by any chance. I wanted to see if she's doing alright." Haruhime blinked as both she and everyone else turned to the knight in question. "Ah, forgive me. I'm Gareth, a distant relative of hers. I came to visit her after hearing she's here in this city." She greeted herself politely as Takemikazuchi looked at her.
"She's not lying." He answered the unasked question while Haruhime expressed relief before agreeing, with Lady Gareth as her escort, they made their way to the Hestia Familia home.
"Don't underestimate me, I'm a virgin."
Gods I love Andersen! Best line from virgin chad in CCC when he roasted Saber. Seriously Hans, take my grails. You earned it! I couldn't resist having Hakuno say it because in a sense it's true, she's a virgin still. And if anything, to go by, virgin girls are more popular. Yes, even virgin Bell is popular despite being a boy. Given how purity and chastity are natural part of Hestia Familia, it's a reason why they're all good looking in a sense. Because they're still pure, they can push on towards adventure better than any other. That probably explains why they become so awesome in future volumes of Danmachi light novels. Can't wait for the showdown against Freya!
