An audience clapped as a girl sixteen in terms of age, with ankle length purple hair, an impressive bust, and a black coat on with a teacher's cane smiled at the screen. "Welcome one and all viewers, to this special episode of 'The Lunar Witch', I'm your host, the adorable devilish kohai BB-chan! Nice to meet you all in the long-awaited BB Channel!" she greeted with a bow to her head as everyone clapped and cheered for her.

"Now for this segment, we're doing an interview with a member of the cast and some words from the author himself. Now without further ado, let us greet our favorite playable female protagonist from the world of Fate, my Tsukihime, Kishinami Hakuno-senpai herself!" with a point of her teacher's cane, Hakuno appeared, seated on an elegant throne and drinking tea calmly as the audience went into a frenzy of cheers.

"Good day everyone, this is a rather surprising twist of events so far. My name is Kishinami Hakuno and I'm here with my kohai to help explain things to those that might be confused about me and the setting in The Lunar Witch and what the author has been planning in his rather unusual writing." Hakuno greeted the screen of readers with a friendly smile and small bow of the head.

Q: Who is Hakuno Kishinami?

"Me?" Hakuno asked as she smiled. "Well, I'm the protagonist of the Fate/EX series, the female version at least and voiced by Yui Ishikawa in the Fate/Last Encore anime and video game Fate/Extella Link."

BB then sighed. "Last Encore was a shame. I heard Nasu had written it in a complex way that the animation studio couldn't fully comprehend it and butchered it. It would have been better written as a novel…but seriously!" BB pouted. "You dying in the last boss fight of the original game as the opening act of the anime?! Does Type Moon not like female protagonists?!"

"Given how the original Fate/Prototype had Ayaka Sanjou as its protagonist, Fate was intended to be an Otome game before a suggestion for genderflipping a few characters into the ones we know today as Shirou and Artoria. Ayaka is my predecessor that never appeared until the original Carnival Phantasm and the previous ideas that evolved into what the Fate series is today. We female protagonists appear in more lighthearted events while the boys just suffer from the main storyline horrors and depression." Hakuno countered with her own knowledge before setting her cup of tea aside.

"That aside, Fate/Extra was originally a game on the PlayStation Portable, or PSP for sort. There, Nero Claudius, Tamamo-no-Mae, and Emiya (going by Nameless in that series) were the three playable Servants in the game I can bond with over the course of the Moon's Holy Grail War."

BB huffed as she crossed her arms. "I still can't believe than in the side sequel game CCC, you contracted with GILGAMESH of all people." She sulked.

"Me too, he's temperamental and a pain at times. But it is good to know that he isn't evil at the core…" Hakuno paused before retracting her statement. "Not that I think he's a good person at all!"

"Yes, he's not and let's leave it at that Senpai." BB agreed, not noticing her Senpai's tsundere reaction.

"Senpai was specifically designed to be the ordinary background character type person in the game, the everyday person just going on their way when they stumbled into the Holy Grail War…just like a certain other protagonist from the original Fate/Stay Night." She mused as a certain white-haired archer sneezed from somewhere else.

"According to the official FATE/EXTRA material book (and translated on the Type Moon wiki), Female Hakuno-senpai is 17 years old with a height of 160cm and the weight of 45kg. She's considered to be third most attractive person in the class…originally intended anyways. Thanks to all of the players of the Fate/EX series, they found Senpai cute, that class 2-A had to have had high level terms of student appearances."

"…I'm that cute?" Hakuno asked with a baffled expression while BB nodded her head in agreement.

"That's right Senpai~, WADARCO drew you quite well to be considered cute by the players! And in the upcoming remake by my studio, the world will see it in HD!" BB beamed while Hakuno suddenly felt embarrassed by that notion.

Hakuno cleared her throat and resumed her explanations. "The me (and my male counterpart) in Fate/EX series have high quality magic circuits and average Wizard [Spiritron Hacker] abilities. But since I never practiced with them my whole life, they were wasted, and I had to struggle with the fact my Servants were weakened by my own inexperience at the time."

"But after facing so many trials and hardships, my princess of the stars overcame every obstacle and became the Victor of the Moon!" BB puffed her chest with pride, which caused it to bounce and deliver fanservice to the hot-blooded BB fans out there rejoicing.

"…isn't that title the name of a Craft Essence?" Hakuno whispered to herself.

Q: What has the author done to divert Hakuno from her canon self?

"Oh boy…Now here's a headache I never wanted to deal with…" BB sighed in resignation as she looked irritated. "He's involved her in his 'Project Cypher' writings. It's a headache given how he writes his stories out of chronological order, confusing everyone by making them wonder what is going on in the first place. He's a complete jerk doing that." BB explained with a huff.

"Be nice, he's not doing the same thing with me BB. He's planned a chronological order story for me…but given his test project with Naruto as the main chew toy, I'd say I got off with the better end of the bargain." Hakuno admitted, thanking the author for sparing her the fate of her fellow companion in the author's absurd project. "With that aside, and given it's been roughly 11 years since Fate/Extra was released and the fact one of my fans, Boyzilla introduced me and my background to everyone in Digital Lunar Hearth in this side of Danmachi-Fate crossovers, I'm sure that they're familiar with me already."

"That's not true! There's always time for refreshers and introductions to both veterans and newcomers to the Fate franchise!" BB countered as Hakuno shrugged in agreement.

"Originally, Senpai here is an NPC, a digital copy of the original created by the Moon Cell. But the author decided to divert it by making it the actual Human version instead and then throw his Project Cypher onto the story to cause problems that never should have been there." BB looked annoyed, recalling all those times the author screwed with her precious Sakura Labyrinth by adding in things that shouldn't be there and twists to the original script.

Hakuno took notice of BB's annoyance, "Are you recalling the time you had me in the nurse's office and- "

"Nothing happened!" BB shot back immediately with a bright red face as it startled Hakuno. "Nothing happened in the nurse's office, nothing indecent or R-18 involved!" she told Hakuno.

"…Okay…?" Hakuno asked, wondering what BB had so worked up all the sudden.

"Well, one thing is that besides ninja magic from Naruto and his friends' dimension-hopping, giant monsters from the Monster Hunter series appeared. Rathian was my first monster to kill and there were more that were going to appear in the CCC story if what the author had written in his notes were to say anything." Hakuno explained while looked at a notepad with numerous scribbles on them while BB was looking a bit giddy.

"Then there was a special character appearance, featuring Vergil of the Devil May Cry series!" BB shouted.

"…you just wanted to say that didn't you?" Hakuno guessed while BB deliberately did not look at her Senpai when she asked that. "But yes, Vergil from Devil May Cry appeared and was my sensei in swordsmanship. The author is to blame for that because of playing the global release of Punishing Gray Raven on the app store. My voice actress, Yui Ishikawa voiced one of the main protagonists Lucia, who uses Katanas as her weapon of choice." Hakuno explained.

"When the author saw the Crimson Abyss Lucia in action and a certain song playing alongside it in a video, he couldn't resist the whole 'Vergil's daughters meme' with Hakuno. Not to mention you'd be a totally adorable badass senpai who kicks butt in the name of love and peace!" BB giggled while Hakuno face palmed at the antics of the author and BB.

Why, just why?

Q: Why is Hakuno a descendant of Morgan le Fae?

"Voice actor gag." Hakuno immediately answered, biting into a piece of cake she had before continuing. "Originally, I was going to be a Pseudo-Servant of Morgan but due to a fanfiction the author read, he decided that me being a descendant would be a better option. The current cover art for this story helped inspire my current attire in Lunar Witch since it reminds him of if I were to imitate Morgan."

"Although I heard the author is looking for artists to design an official version of your attire and to replace the cover art. Not sure if anyone is interested in helping him in that department." BB noted offhandedly before flipping to the next question card.

Q: How powerful is Hakuno currently?

"Senpai can fight weaker ranked (Silver) Servants to a degree. If she were to face Medea, Circe or the Queen of Sheba one on one, Senpai would struggle for a bit. But she makes up for tenacity, melee combat, and creative use of the environment when it's convenient to use. It's only possible in the Danmachi world because its in the Age of Gods and it powers up her magecraft by a massive margin." BB explained.

"Around Level 6 she would rival Kirschtaria Wodime in Lostbelt 5 in terms of power. Once she reaches Level 9 will she rival Lostbelt Morgan without backup from her throne or three doppelgangers like in that one fight that decimated Chaldea."

Q: Lordless Camelot Hakuno when?!

"Soon." Hakuno answered flipping to another card.

Q: Is Chaldea the bad guys in this story?

"Eh? People are still hung up with that?" BB asked with disbelief. "Honestly, the toxicity of the reviews can be much at time when the author clearly intends for this story to end on a happy note. No Cosmos Denial anytime soon! Just misunderstandings and an idiot Servant causing a ruckus in Orario, causing poor Gudako to suffer for it. I'll give you twenty guesses which idiot is responsible for Chaldea being an enemy by accident." The AI giggled mischievously.

Q: Why make the Danmachi world an alternate timeline?

"To be honest, an isekai version got a little to repetitive now and the author wanted to try something else after reading a Fate/Extella and Highschool DXD crossover where the DXD world was its own thriving Lostbelt. Oh, and the story is called The Moon Cell Sovereignty by ramenblitz for those curious about it." Hakuno explained.

Q: What is Flamescion of Stars? In chapter 10, Hakuno was referred to as that at the start of the chapter.

"Well…That's the author's little secret. The name spells it out of what I am." Hakuno answered vaguely as she looked away, refusing to go into detail.

Q: How much trouble are we going to expect once Nero and Gilgamesh show up?

"I'm certain lots of trouble. You've got your own problems now Senpai." BB mused while Hakuno sobbed at her ruined vacation from those two Servants. Sure, she loves them, but even she needs some alone time to relax.

Q: If this was a chronological story, then is there a prequel?

"There is, it's called Cypher Extra, a duology story that is focused mainly on Hakuno's growth and development. The story of the Near Side is finished, with the Far Side is set to be written next year and they're both leading up to Senpai's current adventures in the Danmachi world. Please stay tune if you're curious!" BB answered.

Q: Whose Lucius Tiberius? And why does he appear in the story?

"…" Hakuno had a thousand-yard stare and BB was fretting over her Senpai's empty eyes before fuming in annoyance at the question as she has to answer it.

"The author is to blame for that one. He saw a fanfic of him and Hakuno on ao3 and got inspiration from it. But unlike that version of her, my Senpai is savvy enough to know he's bad news and keeps a distance from that feral animal…although she's lamenting of this man's persistence on wooing her." BB began before clearing her throat.

"He's an opponent of King Arthur of Fate/Prototype that appeared in a flashback. Bloodthirsty and arrogant, his body was destroyed by Excalibur and his name was forgotten over time. That's why he's an Avenger class Servant. But the reason why he refers Senpai as the goddess Flora is lost to me, and the author is planning on revealing that some time in future chapters."

An alarm chimed as both BB and Hakuno blinked.

"Ah, looks like time's up!" BB noted while Hakuno nodded her head in agreement.

"Of course, it looks like we took up quite a bit for this segment. But it was fun answering all these questions!" Hakuno smiled as the two looked to the screen and waved.

"Thanks for tuning in to BB Channel everyone! Hope to see you again in the far future!"
