Invasion - Part 2
Silence dominated the battlefield as everyone looks at the giant ship flying becoming static on air
"(Now I understand, so this is what that alien was doing all this time, he had been calling his people.)" - Thought Rugal staring at the giant ship from the top of a nearby mountain having payed attention at the fights of his group against the one of Kyo's
"Hmph! This has to be a joke." - Said Yagami who had stop for a moment making his way to the mountain where Mizuki and Nakoruru were fighting to watch the giant ship with attention
"Oh no... This must be-" - Nakoruru
"So this are the people of that creature, hmph! So they came for him." - Mizuki sees the large ship having made act of presence on the sky
*Fswoosh* - Suddenly from inside the ship, multiple ships are seen flying out of it, medium sized ships controlled by strange squid-like creatures resembling Rootmars himself
"Those are?" - Krizalid
"The Mars People!" - Seirah
*Shooooww* - Without warning, the strange creatures starts shooting at the mountains where the fighters were and towards the reign of Terraxia
"Rakikiki! That's my cue to leave. But don't think this is over, priestess! We have pending accounts, girl. Accounts that will be dealed with...If you survive!" - Smiles Mizuki looking Nakoruru as she uses one of her seals to hide leaving as Nakoruru watches the seal moving away
"Grrr!" - Nakoruru is visibly angry holding her fist as she would want to follow Mizuki but feeling weak she wouldn't be able
"Damn it!" - Geese sees how two of the small ships flying are shooting strange green lasers at them. The two dodge the beams being forced to stop their fight
"These are aliens? Real aliens!" - Terry
"So the infamous aliens that were reported to have made various appearences on earth. They sure are annoying." - Geese throws a Shippuken at one of the ships
"Don't think this is over, Bogard! Only because this pests have dared to appear." - Geese
"Believe me, I wouldn't let this stop me from taking you out again! But-" - Terry in that moment feels how the ground from the mountains they were standing in starts shaking as the blasts of energy coming from the many ships make themselves more presents
"Argh! This whole place won't resist much more!" - Terry sees how alot of rocks are falling with him and Geese trying to grab themselves to the mountain avoding falling
*Blast* - For the shock of both rivals, a big hole is blow in the path that was between the two of them, with this making it impossible for Terry to keep fighting Geese now being at the other side of this
"Hmph! Annoying creatures!" - Geese
"Considerate yourself lucky, Bogard! I'll be waiting to make you pay!" - Without saying more, Geese leaves the mountain knowing it won't take long before is blowed up by the Mars People
"Damn it! Nakoruru!" - Sighing, Terry remembers that Nakoruru stayed behind some meters up on the mountain fighting with Mizuki, he makes his way there hoping she is fine
"Nakoruru!" - Terry arrives to where the kneeling Nakoruru is
"Terry! What happened? What happened to Geese?" - Nakoruru surprised by the destruction going on asks Terry
"He left, those creatures, the martians. They are everywhere! This place isn't safe anymore, we need to reagroup with the rest." - Terry
"And where is that witch in the body of Chizuru?" - Terry
"She left, I managed to weaken her but she left, probably to reagroup with the rest." - Nakoruru
"In which direction?!" - Says a voice to the two making Terry and Nakoruru react shocked to see who had arrived here
"Yagami! What are you doing here? Return with the rest." - Terry
"Iori, don't tell me you want to-" - Nakoruru
"Didn't you heard, girl? In what direction?!" - Iori interrupts Nakoruru
"Towards the north, see that forest in the distance?" - Having no other option Nakoruru points at the forest in the distance where Mizuki made her way inside her seal
"Hmph! Perfect!" - Iori
"Iori wait! We can help you up!" - Nakoruru
"Don't say nonsense girl, look at you. You're in no state to fight anymore. In fact, I don't need anyone of you. You all would just get in the way. You clearly weren't enough to do the job but me, I'm ready to put an end to that woman and finish with this." - Iori holds his fist
"But Ms Kagura?!" - Nakoruru
"Kagura made a mistake by allowing herself to become this demon's hostess, she was always a weakling! In this life sacrifices must be done and right now, she is nothing but a sacrifice and a burden. Don't follow me, unless you two want me to sacrifice you two as well." - Says Iori making both Nakoruru and Terry stare at him with anger
"And what about these guys?" - Terry looks at the sky
"I won't let a bunch of insignificant martians get in my way." - Without saying more Iori makes his way out of the mountain leaving both Nakoruru and Terry
"Grrr! That idiot, he is probably going to die." - Terry
"Mizuki is weakened but I doubt even Iori is a match for her." - Nakoruru
"Forget about him, right now we have to get out of here, reunite with the rest. Focus on survive!" - Terry grabs the weakened Nakoruru on his arms carrying her out of the mountain as best as he can dodging the attacks of the Mars People in the sky
"What are these things?" - Kyo looks at the many ships flying over them firing at the mountains and them
"Grrr! Stupid creatures!" - Kusanagi
"Kusanagi, what are you waiting for? Finish him now!" - Botan is seen on top of a cliff
"I'm on it!" - Kusanagi rushes to attack Kyo, only for this one to block the punch as both interchange some hits
Kyo uses an aragami on Kusanagi punching the shadow created by the Yata mirror to the ground
"Damn, I'm really annoying!" - Says Kyo approaching Kusanagi as this one recovers
"You're obsolete, boy! I'm the real deal." - Kusanagi
"Keep dreaming you disgusting abomination!" - Kyo
Both men keep attacking each other with Kusanagi managing to counter Kyo's attacks kicking him and connecting his version of the Orochinagi on Kyo
"This isn't done yet!" - Kyo runs to attack Kusanagi again
Meanwhile
"Athena, this is useless. We need to return to the palace!" - Ryo
"Frankly Ryo, there's no place safe anymore, these invaders are everywhere!" - Athena uses her psycho reflector to return one of the beams to the Mars People
As the fighters are seem moving across the battlefield dodging the many attacks from the strange invaders, suddenly a couple of ships looking like eyes make act of presence as well as strange creautures coming out of the giant ship
"What are these creatures!" - Ryo
"Aliens, what else could they be, Ryo." - Athena
Athena and her group see how the strange aliens in front of them start aiming their strange weapons at them as strange spheres of energy made their way towards them
"Dodge!" - Athena
"What the hell are these squids?" - Haohmaru
"They are not squids, they are the Mars People!" - Marco makes act of presence having been forced to move away from his fight with Allen O'Neil
As Athena and co try to move they are surrounded by more and more of the Mars People
"Huh? What a group of weird creatures." - Both Shion and Mai notice how they have been surrounded by the Mars People
*Beepp* - Mars People
*Boop* - Mars People
"What are they saying?" - Wonders Mai being forced to deal with a group of them while Shion deals with another one
"Argh! Get away from me, you stupid creatures!" - Shion is attacked by the Mars People
"This isn't going to end well!" - Mai does a large jump, she uses her move Suichou no Mai on the aliens burning some of them.
But she starts sweating cold when more of them appears carrying more extravagant looking weapons
"Just how many of these are!" - Screams Mai noticing how both groups are now busy dealing with the invaders
"Argh!" - Shiki is pushed back having recieved a cut from Leona
"..." - Leona
"Hehehehe. Not bad, not bad. If only you were brave enough to show your real self." - Shiki
"This is my real self." - Leona
"No, we both know it isn't. You're a snake pretending to be a human just like me." - Shiki
"A vile snake who only was born to spread chaos and misery to humanity, instruments of destruction. Nothing but that." - Shiki
"I told you that" - Leona strikes Shiki again with this one spitting blood
"Keep rejecting what you are, you're just delaying the inevitable." - Shiki smiles seeing Leona, she rises her swords approaching towards Leona with such madness and psychotic look in her eyes
"ARGH!" - Leona tries to dodge Shiki's attacks but she has become too fast
"(This speed, she has become more fast!)" - Leona
"DIIIE!" - Shiki rushes with the last movement to kill Leona with her and Leona stopping each clashing
"Argh!" - Shiki struggles moving her arm with one of her swords as the other arm keeps holding the other sword in the air clashing with Leona keeping her hands busy
"Arh!" - Leona feels how Shiki impales her with her sword, however gritting her teeth returning the same smile she used some moments ago
"ARGHH!" - Shiki screams as in a quick movement Leona uses her hand to cut her in the chest
Both women now bleeding still refuse to perish as they clash with each other, despite the destruction at their surroundings, they still refuse to give up
"..." - Leona introduces her hand deeply into Shiki's wound making her spit a ton of blood opening her eyes widely as her big purple pupils are seen
"ARGHHH!" - Despite Shiki trying to do the same, she has no strenght to keep pushing her sword and this one retreats the sword
"..." - Both women retreat jumping back finally freeing each other panting as Leona's hair unties itself with her looking at the wound Shiki left on her
*Coughing* - However it seems Shiki's situation is worse as this ones keeps coughing blood as this one recovers staring at Leona with this inhuman snake eyes of anger
"Leona!" - Leona hears a voice calling her, she sees not other than Seirah having appeared here to her aid.
"Seirah." - Leona sees how her partner crouches to help her as both stare at the angry Shiki
"Hehehehehe" - Shiki starts laughing
"HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" - Shiki
"Now I see it, this is what makes you weak!" - Shiki for the surprise of both women gets up despite the big amount of blood driping from her wound
"As long as you live attached to those so called bonds, you will remain weak." - Shiki
"And only when they are gone, is when you will understand, our real purpose in this world was not to serve them. But to serve a bigger power, our creators!" - Shiki
"And soon you will understand it, daughter of Orochi!" - Shiki in a mere blink teleports out of there leaving both mercenaries confused
"Quick, Seirah! We need to leave!" - Leona gets up as Seirah is shocked at how fast is Leona's wound closing by itself
"Yes, the area is filled with Mars People, we need to reagroup. We need to return to the palace, we can form a strategy against them there." - Seirah and Leona leave the arena as fast as they can
"How many of them you think they are here?" - K'
"I don't know, hundreds? Is hard to calculate how many are inside that thing." - Maxima
"Guys where is Seirah?" - Having taken advantage of the distraction, Kula returns with K' and Maxima
"She went to help Leona, where you had been, we managed to survive Neo Dio but he could be hidding around here still, we can't stay here much longer. We need to return with the rest." - Maxima
"Maxima, Kula there you are!" - Seirah arrives with Leona as the two shoot at some of the Mars People making their way here
"Does this creatures know when to give up?" - Kaede
"I doubt it." - Moriya
"Aww, I think they are kinda cute." - Akari
"Don't underestimate them!" - Says Marco, Leona, Seirah, K', Maxima and Kula at the same time for Akari's surprise
"Guys, wait!" - Mai manages to catch with the rest as they keep moving
"Where's is Rosa?" - Marco
"I don't know, I'll go to search her. Marco, you and Leona cover the left and right, Maxima, you and Athena cover our front and rear sides!" - Seirah
On the way to where Rosa is, Seirah recieves a call from Dr. Brown
"Dr. Brown!" - Seirah
"Seirah, are you alright. This is a nightmare, the entire palace is under the attack of these aliens, we need to think of a strategy. The Terraxians, Siruu and I managed to repair the shield of the city, but we can't activate it until you and the rest are inside the city!" - Dr. Brown
"We are on it, Doc. Just give us a few more moments and all of us will be there!" - Seirah
"Quick Seirah! These things are starting to make their way inside, we are trying to keep them at bay." - Dr. Brown is seen taking the gun of one of death Mars People to defend himself
Meanwhile
"ARGH!" - A bleeding Rosa is seen backing off from her last clash with King Leo as this one is prepared to finish with Rosa
As Seirah makes her way to where Rosa is, suddenly she reacts at a strange figure approaching to attack her
*Slassh* - Seirah rolls back dodging the attack of the strange man know as Freeman who appears now standing on her way
"You!" - Seirah
"Hello, beautiful. Where to with all this hurry?" - Freeman
"Look, I don't have time for this! Especially with all this going on." - Seirah
"Why be on a hurry? Things are just starting to get better and better. Heheehehe." - Says Freeman rising his arms pointing at the many ships in the sky
"Move out before I do something you will regret! Is the only warning I'm giving you." - Seirah
"Oh I like your tone of voice when you get serious, unfortunately. I can detect your fear from here and is delicious." - Freeman starts approaching Seirah with a killer look
"Fine! Say hello to your pals in the other side!" - Seirah pulls out her gun and without hesitation
*Bang* *Bang* - She shoots two bullets at Freeman in the chest and right shoulder making Freeman stumble
"Heh!" - But for Seirah's shock, Freeman then starts approaching her walking as if nothing
"(What the hell is this guy?)" - Seirah reloads her gun quickly shooting at Freeman again
"..." - However Freeman again keeps moving towards Seirah
"Argh!" - Freeman screams running now being close to Seirah as Seirah pulls out a hidden knife to attack the assassin
Both Seirah and Freeman hit each other, Freeman punches Seirah slashing her cheek and he jumps trying to slash her again
"Urk!" - Freeman is stopped by Seirah impaling his hand with her knife, she and Freeman keep hitting each other with Freeman kicking Seirah with his knee to her stomach
"I can play rough too you know!" - Seirah returns the same type of hit to Freeman with both falling to the ground struggling rolling
"Playtime's over, child!" - Freeman holds Seirah's neck tighter rising his not impaled right arm
"I'm going to enjoy taking both of your eyes, maybe keeping them as a souvenir... Yes, I like the sound of that!" - The long haired assassin comments as he is about to slash Seirah's eyes
"AH!" - But Seirah pulls another hidden knife stabbing Freeman in the neck as this one couchs blood, taking advantage of the pain, Seirah uses her legs to kick Freeman away from her
*Crash* - Freeman crashes against a nearby mountain, with two ships of the Mars People passing by shooting at the mountain as Seirah gets up and the injured Freeman reacts
Freeman slowly starts getting up again removing the knife from his throat, only for him to not realize parts of the falling mountain was falling towards him
Seirah moves back seeing how a big part of the mountain debris falls on top of the assassin shocked to see the apparent demise of Freeman as Seirah approaches
*Crash* - But a hand comes out of the rubble moving trying to reach for an exit, only to become static begging for air, Seirah realizes that was the last attempt of Freeman to try to get out of the big rubble that had crushed his body
"..." - Without wasting more time, Seirah runs to where Rosa is
"Damn it! There's too many of them!" - Botan realizes the entire battlefield was filled with the strange creatures from Mars as Kyo and Kusanagi now where being interrupted all the time by the Mars People shooting and attacking at them
"Kusanagi! Return to me, we need to go!" - Botan
"But-But" - Kusanagi
"You will get another chance, obey me! I'm your creator!" - Botan
"..." - Kusanagi jumps back burning a big amount of Mars People going to where Botan is as Kyo is forced to defend himself from all the mars people appearing
In that moment, landing next to Botan, Shiki appears
"Oh there you are! I was wondering where the hell you where? Quick! We have to get out of here, return with Rugal!" - Botan signals at the silent Shiki and Kusanagi as the three leave the area
"You were never a match for me before, you're not now." - Says King Leo as he strikes at Rosa breaking her sword
"ARGH!" - Rosa is sent to the ground as King Leo approaches her
"But I must admit you fought well, better than in the past. However your luck has run out and as the rules stablished by that Urbe said, I can't allow you to go!" - Grabing the defeated Rosa by her neck, King Leo doesn't hesitate impaling her with his sword
"ARGGHHH!" - Rosa coughs blood as she is killed by King Leo with her stare changing as her mouth and body lose movement right there with the dangling body of Rosa becoming stuck on King Leo's sword
"NOO!" - Seirah having managed to arrive only manages to see this image of terror as the corpse of Rosa is kicked out of the King Leo's sword
"Hmph!" - King Leo stares at the angry Seirah
"You bastard! I'm going to kill you!" - Seirah in a emotional outburst points her gun at King Leo shooting at him
*Clank* - But King Leo easily blocks the bullets with his sword
"Ah!" - Seirah tries to hold him with her Voodoo whip, only for King Leo to pull her towards him
"You're not bad looking, girl! Is a shame we aren't in the same side, would love to teach you why I'm the king!" - King Leo grabs Seirah by her chin looking at her with a evil smile
"Leave her go!" - Shigen appears in that moment hitting the ground making a tsunami of diamond looking rocks hit King Leo forcing him to drop Seirah
"Argh!" - King Leo stares at Shigen approaching, he decides to charge his attack King Straight attacking Shigen, but Shigen just blocks the attack tanking it for King Leo's shock as this one decides to leave
"Are you alright?" - Shigen
"I'm going to be, big guy. But Rosa..." - Both look at the corpse of Rosa lying there on the ground with sadness
"This is not a good sign." - Comments Nakoruru as she and Terry are closer to where the rest are finally having walked of the mountain
"I know, this looks like every alien invasion movie I have seen!" - Terry and Nakoruru make their way back to the rest but suddenly a strange shadow gets in their way
"..." - The strange Asura reveals himself looking at both Nakoruru and Terry
"Asura!" - Nakoruru
"You know this goth?" - Terry
"Yes, he shouldn't be here just like Shiki. Both were once slaves of Yuga, they died, how did Urbe brought them back to life?" - Nakoruru
"I dunno, but if a fight is what he wants. I'll have to take him out!" - Terry sits Nakoruru near to a rock with him being determined to fight with Asura
"ARGH!" - But for both Terry and Nakoruru's surprises, Galford and Poppy appear attacking Asura
"Terry, take Nakoruru with the rest, I'll keep him busy. Buy you two some time." - Galford
"Are you sure?" - Terry
"Goddamn it, Terry! Just take her back! I'll be fine!" - Galford screams at Terry to not force him to repeat it
"Just keep her fine, I'll catch up with you two in some moments!" - Galford
Nodding Terry and Nakoruru decided to leave as Nakoruru becomes shocked
Both Galford and the silent Asura fight, the fight is deadly as both fighters use their swords to try to impale each other, the struggle goes hard as Galford sees how Asura turns his sword into a axe trying to kill him with such a strange slow but certain movement
"ARHG!" - Galford manages to barely avoid the cut from Asuna's move with him recieving a cut in his shoulder
"ARGH! Damn it!" - Galford grabs his arm bleeding
"Is that the best you got? Come on, attack me again! You damn coward! I'll show you that I don't need both arms to strike you down." - Galford
"..." - The silent Asura then turns his sword into an strange iron spear
"Huh?" - Galford sees how Asura impales his spear on the ground with giang spears coming from the ground chasing after him
Both fighters keep attacking each other with Asura teleporting behind Galford, he tries to impale Galford in what is a clash of swords until
*Clash* - In the struggle, Asura manages to disarm Galford as his sword is seem falling back, Asura takes advantage of this to quickly impale the ninja on the chest... Right in the heart
"URGK!" - Galford spits blood as the serious Asura with a blank face just pushes the sword some more into his heart
"ARGHHHH!" - More blood keeps coming from Galford as Asura removes his sword with Galford falling to the ground for the shock of his loyal partner Poppy
*Growl* - Poppy growls at Asura with anger launching to attack him, he bites the arm of Asura trying to rip him to pieces
"..." - The silent Asura still sporting the same blank face just hits Poppy with his other arm, this sents the poor dog to the ground next to Galford's almost dead body
"..." - Nakoruru suddenly feels a terrible heartache, she sees a image coming to her of a shadow falling to the ground
"Galford!" - Nakoruru
"Terry, quick! We need to return to where Galford is! Please?!" - Nakoruru
"Wait, are you serious? What happened?!" - Terry
"Just turn back, please!" - Nakoruru begs Terry with tears on her eyes, surprising Terry who decides to return with her
Both Nakoruru and Terry return to where Galford is, only to find themselves with the image of his body there in the ground as the violent invasion and attack from the Mars Peopla keeps going
"GALFORD!" - Nakoruru screams as tears start to come from her eyes violently
"Oh no!" - Terry runs as both go to check on the almost dead Galford
"..." - They turn him to see him
"Galford, speak to me! Please, don't worry. I'm going to help you, I'll heal you but I need you to talk with me!" - Nakoruru
"N-N-Akoruru. What are you doing here, I told you to leave... I'm-I'm going to be fine *Coughs*" - Galford
"*Gasps* The wound is so profound! I won't be able to heal it in time." - Nakoruru grits her teeth frustated grabing Galford's hand
"Terry, please tell Athena to come here!" - Nakoruru
"I'm on it!" - Terry
"No! W-Wait. Is alright, Nakoruru. Is alright." - Galford
"..." - Nakoruru
"At least you're alright. That's what matters." - Galford
"My life, you know I'm alright with perishing just for you. I'm alright with that." - Galford
"Terry." - Galford in that moment looks at Terry as the Wild Wolf grabs his hand
"What do you need, brother. Let me bring Athena, she will be able to heal you." - Terry
"No, don't worry about that anymore. Just promise me something..." - Galford
"What?" - Terry
"P-promise me, promise me that you will take care of her, please.." - Galford
Nakoruru cries as she sees Galford's left eye and mouth muscles start to lose force
"Just promise me that you will protect Nakoruru." - Galford
"I'll do it! I promise you!" - Terry
"Thank you, Terry. I know I can count with you. I-I'm glad I got to meet you." - Galford
"Nakoruru.. I-I'm so-so." - Galford in that moment dies
"Galford! NOOO!" - Nakoruru cries on top of Galford's corpse
"Nakoruru we have to go now, this is getting more heated up." - Terry grabs the sad priestess carrying her back to where the rest is as Poppy goes with them
"(Galford... Forgive me. Once again... The damn cruel fate has separated us.)" - Nakoruru grits her teeth feeling nothing but sadness
Kyo is surrounded by tons of Mars People and their strange experiements, until two figures make their way there. Attacking the Mars People forcing them to move away
"Athena. Kaede." - Kyo sees who were the two who came for him
"Kyo, come with us, we need to return to the palace. Is the only place were we will be safe." - Athena
"Yeah, boss. This place is a damn war!" - Kaede
"Alright, lets get out of here!" - Kyo joins with the others as finally with the group reunited they make their way back to Terraxia
"Are all of us here!" - Kyo and the rest are almost in Terraxia
"Wait! Wait for us." - Terry and Nakoruru appear
The two enter in Terraxia as the fighters manage to hold the Mars People in the entrance of the city
"Now Dr. Brown!" - Seirah screams at her earpiece as a shield activates covering the whole city alongside the fighters, protecting them from the threat of the Mars People
The fighters are seen panting as the Mars People from the outside move back realizing they can't advance pass the shield
"Is done, are we all here?" - Kyo
"Yes, at least all of us." - Kaede
"Wait, where's Galford, Rosa and Iori?" - Athena
In that moment, Shigen, Whip, Nakoruru and Terry look down
"They are gone." - Seirah
"Just like Jeanne." - Says Maxima surprising Athena and Kyo who react sad to know three of them are dead
"And what about Iori?" - Athena
"Wait! Don't tell me that idiot dared to..." - Kyo
Nakoruru nods
"He went after Mizuki." - Terry
"Argh! That bastard never listens!" - Kyo
"Should we go back for him?" - Akari
"No! I told Yagami that he wouldn't be a liability for us and I plan to stick with that, he dared to go for her despite me and Athena telling him to forget it. Leave him. We need to think of a strategy to shoot that thing down." - Kyo looks at the giant Rugname ship
Meanwhile
Iori Yagami is seen already making his way into the forest zone where Mizuki was seen escaping too.
Suddenly strange things appears as Yagami realizes a strange red mist covering the path of the forest had made act of presence
"Grrr!" - Iori is angry but he percieves Kagura's chi from somewhere nearby, he smiles to himself feeling he is closer to her
"..." - Iori sees in the distance what is a river next to some trees, he feels Kagura's chi coming from that part down there
Arriving at the river, Yagami stands in the center feeling Kagura's chi everywhere
*whistling* - The sounds of someone whistling is heard, whistling a song with a supernatural echo being heard in the entire forest
"..." - Iori stands still as suddenly silence dominates again
"I once had some sweet memories." - A female voice is heard singing
"It's worth remains, all the same." - The same voice sings
"How can I remember those moments, sweetheart?" - The same voice sings
"Tell me! TELL ME!" - The same voice sings
"If there's a man who can make anything." - The same voice sings
"Give me the tools to live in the past." - Sings the female voice with supernatural echo
"It's all gone down so deep." - The same voice sings
"I can't see anymore!" - The same voice sings
"If that's not the way to go." - The same voice sings
"Let me, LET ME! Let me carve your way." - The sound is heard more closer for Iori
"I'm a shadow, always... with you." - In that moment Mizuki Rashoujin appears at the other side in the body of Chizuru Kagura ending the song
"..." - Iori
"Did you liked it? Is a song called "Let me carve your way." By some musician that may sound familiar to you... His name was Iori Yagami." - Says Mizuki with a sinister smile drawing on her face
Iori holds his fist in anger staring at the evil Mizuki as the tension can be felt in the air
