I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon and Jurassic Park/World belongs to Universal.
"Finally! Concrete! Sweet, sweet concrete." Lola joyfully exclaimed after she; right along with her family, the McBrides, and Rip Hardcore finally stepped out of the mud, dino-poop filled jungle and onto the nice concrete pathway leading straight to the back of the Innovation center with a tall, dinosaur decorated, wall on the side. Looking down at her shirt, Lola cringes in disgust for how muddy they were. They were definitely going to need a good cleaning after all this.
"Well what are we waiting for gang? Let's go." Lynn Sr. happily exclaimed for finally they were somewhere civilized on this island.
"Be mindful mates. Those overgrown lizards are more than likely moving freely through the area." Rip firmly warned.
"There's also the high danger of something making its territory on this huge area of land." Lisa added in, much to the dismay of everyone else.
"Any chance of it being vegetarian?" Lori asked in a bit of hope.
"Highly doubtful." She replied.
"Oh swell." Luan lowly muttered.
Walking down the path, they pass under a open gate that's right by the Innovation center where much of the vegetation is overgrown and the fountains are shut off. Looking up at the Innovation center in consideration, they all wondered if the boys were in there?
It was big enough to shelter both of them and was a place where they would be safe from any dinosaurs.
Making up their minds, they approach the back door, which Howard tried to open by shaking it a bit, only for the door not to budge. "Dang it. It's locked."
"Don't worry Mr. McBride. The front doors could be unlocked." Lana reassured.
"Good idea Lana." Harold quickly complimented and with that, they all made their way on over to the front, passing by even more overgrown vegetation, cracks on the payment where weeds are growing out of, and one of the front fountains with its water all dried up. Reaching the top of the stairs, they briefly take an overlook at what was once the glorious Main Street that is now reduce to rubble, trash and other items on the ground, right along with more plants and moss sprouting out through the pavement.
"What a dump! I'll tell you guys; this place has really gone downhill. Definitely disserves a zero star status." Lola remarked in disgust.
"What did you honestly expect? The place has been abandon for a couple months." Luan stated.
"Uh guys. We're about to head in." Lori reminded after opening up the right door for everyone to come inside.
"Right. Sorry Lori." Luan said before heading in right behind Luna. Upon getting inside; the first thing Luan noticed was that it seemed to be a lot more warmer in here than it was outside. It's warm enough to make her hair frizz.
While the heat was a bit noticeable. The cloudy day like darkness is more than enough to be the center of attention, it was very much like being inside a cave, but at least they could still see. That being said; looking around the main area, they couldn't see any traces of either Lincoln or Clyde anywhere; not on the second floor balcony, not near the fossil dig attraction, and not down the hallway leading into the Hammond Creation Lab.
"I don't think they're in here." Leni commented with a slight frown.
"Now let's not get discouraged. With the mere size of this building, they may perhaps be in a smaller room. Most likely a room with a lock or without any ground floor windows." Lisa stated.
"But where do we even start dude? This place is huge!" Luna pointed out.
"I suggest we go off into three separate teams. One team should check around the first floor, the other on the top floor, and the final group should look in the area around the Hammond Creation Labs." Lisa exclaimed for three groups of people searching in vastly different areas would greatly help spread out the search.
"Geez. I wonder which group your going to go with." Lori sarcastically remarked for it wasn't too hard on figuring out which area Lisa wanted to search in.
"That's a splendid idea little lady. Here's how well do it; me, right along with the parents will search upstairs, the two oldest of you cubs will search around here with the twins and the sporty one, and you two; the rockstar and comedian well take the smart and spooky one into that lab." Rip instructed.
"Wait a minute. Shouldn't we have at least one adult with the kids?" Howard quickly pointed out in concern.
"Indeed. What if one of the two groups are attacked by a dinosaur while we are up there?" A frighten Harold added for he didn't even want to think of a horrible situation like that happening.
"Fully agreed. We definitely need to have an adult with them." Rita didn't want to have any more of her babies getting hurt, neither did Lynn Sr. who couldn't help but think of a situation where Luna, Luan, Lisa, and Lucy are searching through the lab, then bam! A meat eating dinosaur comes out of the shadows and viciously attacks them with a result that nearly made him faint.
"Alright. We can compromise here." Rip happily remarked before thinking up of new ways to diverse the group, which really didn't take that long. "Okay! The McBrides. You'll be coming with me. Mrs. Loud. You'll go with the group that will be searching down here, and Mr. Loud. You'll be with the group in the lab. Does that sound good to you all?"
"Oh yes. Much better." Howard agreed.
"Yes. That's a much more better plan." Harold added in agreement with Rita and Lynn nodding in approval.
"Then let's get searching. Shall we mates." Clapping his hands together. The three groups went off in their separate ways with Rip and the McBrides going up the spiral staircase, Lynn Sr., Luna, Luan, Lisa, and Lucy going into the hallway of the Hammond Creation Labs, while Rita, Lori, Leni, Lynn, Lola and Lana went on over to a closed door on the far right, situated near a wall display of the entire history of Jurassic World.
"So what do you guys think is behind this door?" Lana asked.
"Eh, probably some office or something." Lola dismissed in a low shrug.
Rita opens the door and they all peered inside, only to see just a bunch of old cleaning supplies, mops, brooms, buckets, extra lightbulbs, plastic bags, and other stuff.
"Nope. It's just a smelly old closet." Lori blankly answered.
Shutting the door, they now walked on over to the door on the other side of the display wall. Lynn didn't waste any time on rushing forward to kick it right open, much to the disapproval of Leni. "Lynn! You can't go in here! The door says employees only!"
"Leni. No one's around to care." Lynn retorted as she stepped into the room.
"Girls. Please don't fight." Rita lightly scolded for it's the last thing they needed right now. Not when they're on the important search for Lincoln and Clyde.
Stepping into the room herself, she saw that it's an employee's rest area with three white tables in the middle with four blue chairs around them, counters with a coffee machine, sink, and microwave, a fridge for employees to store their foods in, top counters for plates, two cabinets at the west side of the room, next to a large couch, and several dinosaur themed posters with Lana's favorite being the one with the baby Ankylosaurus taking in the cat's place for one of those hang on posters.
It's very clear however that neither Lincoln or Clyde are in here. They must be somewhere else in the building.
Going across to the other side now. They checked into the next room, where a small theater awaits them with three rows of seats all standing in attention in front of the blank screen.
"Oh goodie. A movie room! We should totes watch something after finding Lincoln and Clyde." Leni beamed for watching a movie was always fun, such as the movie they all watched last time. The one with the green guy and the talking donkey.
"Leni. We can't watch a movie. The power's out remember." Lori gently reminded, much to the disappointment of Leni. "Oh right."
Searching through the rows of seats; as well as behind the door that's only another storage closet. Lola returned to them with contempt. "They're not in here either mom."
"Well that literally leads us with only one door left." Lori exclaimed in frustration for if neither of them were in here. What are the chances of them being behind the last door?
Feeling the same frustration on not finding the boys in either one of these rooms. Lynn moved ahead of her family on over to the final door, opens it and utterly flinches back when the first thing she saw was an open mouth full of sharp teeth.
Catching up to her in alarm by her sudden flinching. The rest of them looked uneasily into the room and sighed in great relief as it was only an animatronic dinosaur with fake foliage surrounding it, a nest full of eggs safely behind its legs, and the bones of a previous meal in front of the meat eater with three fingers and was as big or perhaps bigger than a T-Rex.
"Ha! You got scared by that hunk of metal." Lola teased.
"Hey! Considering where we are! Is it no wonder why I freaked out over seeing a large, robotic dinosaur in this room! I bet you would've been screaming your head off if you opened this door first!" Lynn argued.
"Like that would ever happen!" Lola argued back, completely hiding the fact that what her older sister said was true.
"What even is this anyway?" Lori then question for she doesn't recall this dinosaur being on the list for the living species here.
"It's an Acrocanthosaurus." Lana answered much to her's and the others surprise.
"How in the world do you know that?" Lori didn't know Lana was an expert on dinosaurs. That was reserved for Lisa.
"Says so on that sign over there." Lana pointed out.
Looking over, Lori couldn't believe that she missed that sign for it was literally standing right in front of them.
"Um girls. We still have a duty to fulfill." Rita then reminded for she felt like that they were starting to get a bit off track here.
Overlooking the room, it had a couple more doors, not to mention an extra room for Lincoln and Clyde to be hiding behind. This will take a tad more time for all of them, hopefully; it'll all be worth it at the end.
All the way over in the Hammond Creation Labs meanwhile. Lynn's group have walked all the way over to the closed elevator that leads all the way up to the control room, where Lisa quickly reduce that Lincoln's E-mail had originally came from.
"You think they're still up there?" Luan asked.
"I bet they are sis. The place has to be the most tightest place in security." Luna remarked.
"Hate to burst your bubble elder siblings. But more than likely, they have already left after sending that E-mail. It's best that they did, otherwise they would've been trapped inside. Since all of the building's doors have no handles, since they're all fully automatic slide doors." Lisa informed.
"Couldn't they just push them open?" Luna pointed out.
"There metal doors." Lisa further clarified.
"Well ain't that a serious safety hazard." Luan remarked.
"Fully agreed sibling. I have no idea why the designers of the facility haven't considered installing regular doors just in case the power went out. My best guess is that they only wanted to be futuristic with their design."
"When you really put it like that Lisa. I seriously hope that the boys aren't up there." Lynn Sr. exclaimed in worry.
"If they aren't. Then they must be in the lab then." Lucy spoke up.
"Wouldn't we have seen them by then, dude?" Luna pointed out as the labs weren't exactly hidden from sight.
"That's a hundred percent correct. Even if they're in the back room, I took notice of earlier. They would've came out by now after hearing our footsteps and voices." Lisa deduced.
"If that's the case. I hope that your mother's and the McBride's groups are doing better than we are." Lynn Sr. stated.
There wasn't really anything to search around for on the second floor. All there really was up here were model dinosaur skeletons, displays showing relics from Jurassic Park, a triceratops skull, and a deactivated holographic projector. The only real room to even check out was only simply a place where the backup generators are stored in.
It's very crystal clear to the three of them that both Lincoln and Clyde weren't up here at at all. "Sorry about this mates."
"It's okay Mr. Hardcore. Despite our high hopes of finding the boys all the way up here. It simply proved to be futile." Harold remarked, taking it way more calmly than Howard, who's currently busy looking out of the window overlooking Main Street in the desperate hopes of spotting them from this view.
"Where could they be Hare-bear!" He blurted out, very close to tears.
"Don't cry Howie. We will find them. Right Mr. Hardcore?"
Not saying anything in a brief moment of hesitation, Hardcore coughed a bit before finally answering Harold. "Of course mates. Even if they're not in here. We may be able to find them out there on the district."
The answer wasn't at all great, especially thanks to that brief bit of hesitation before it. All it really did was make Howard whimper to himself, while Harold simply gave Hardcore a stern glare.
Wanting to save himself from the awkward silence. Rip raised his hands up with a loud voice emitting out. "Now then mates! Seeing how we haven't found anything up here. Let's get back downstairs and see if the others had much better luck, shall we."
Meeting back up at the entrance. The next obvious place for all of them to search around at was Main Street. Given how large the overall area is, it'll take up a lot more time to complete the search.
Using the exact same teams as before: Rita's group would check around Main Street , Lynn's checked around the West Boardwalk, and Rip's checked out the East Boardwalk.
Just like inside the Innovation Center, they are taking up much more ground by separating into teams. Helping out their search greatly as they looked inside the shops, restaurants, and attractions; such as the arcade, which Lynn's group reasonably thought was the best place to look in, since Lincoln and Clyde are huge gamers. Although unfortunately; they weren't inside the place after all.
Meanwhile; Rip and the McBrides peered in through the glass doors of the movie theater. They couldn't really see anything due to how dark it was inside, besides with all the doors locked, they very much doubted that they are in there anyway.
Perhaps the ice cream shop could provide them with some much better luck, turning away from the theater. They then all stopped in stunned silence, after catching sight of the back of the mosasaur swimming around in the middle of the lagoon before slowly diving back down with a splash.
Witnessing the massive, marine reptile scared the two McBrides to the core, while Rip; who is very much used to being around dangerous marine animals, looked on in respect. "She sure is a beaut. Isn't she mates."
With no reply. The McBrides took ahold of each others hand's for much needed reassurance.
"You know. This outfit wouldn't be too bad on me." Lola remarked.
She and Lori have entered a clothing shop about three minutes ago and immediately Lola has taken up interest on a cute little outfit a kid size, mannequin is wearing. Lori had to snap her sister out of it for they weren't exactly here to browse around the store.
"Lola. We're literally still looking around for Lincoln and Clyde remember."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just give me a moment." Lola however dismissed as she continues to admire the clothing, much to Lori's dismay as she smacked her hand against her own forehead.
Outside the clothing store. Lynn and Lana are currently walking around near the front of the bar and grill, where much of the tables are scattered about with a huge, three toed footprint in the middle. "Whoa! What on Earth made this colossal footprint?"
Going up to it. Lana gave the print a very close inspection by sniffing it, placing a finger on the bottom tip of the print, and gave it a nice, long lick on its center. "Hmmm. After my close study. I say it was made by the T-Rex. Approximately three weeks ago."
"Whoa. You got all that by doing all that weird stuff?" Lynn questioned in amazement as she definitely couldn't tell this was made three weeks ago.
"It requires a lot of practice." Lana however dismissed as it really wasn't such a big deal in her point of view.
"Cool. So, uh. Should we be worried about tiny arms coming through here anytime soon?"
"Nah! The big girl is most likely resting herself after having such a big meal." In fact; Lana can almost see her laying underneath the shade of a large tree at this very moment.
"Phew! That's good." Lynn sighed in relive. Last thing they needed was a T-Rex attack right now.
Shortly afterwards; the two girls went off to join in with their mother inside the sushi place. At the exact same time meanwhile, Leni stood in front of a open, wooden gate that leads right into an alley way with another open gate on the right side of this big column of concrete.
"Maybe Linky and Clyde are hiding in there." Happily entering into the alley, Leni turns and goes through the open gate, where she now finds herself surrounded by redwood trees with a large pile of wood and vegetation in front of her, while bones of various animals are scattered about.
"What a weird place. It's totally like something is straight up living in here." Stepping in further, Leni turns left and stopped in fright upon seeing the headless body with a good chunk of its torso and stomach missing with only a few slabs of meat left that the compies happily feasted upon like a swarm of rats.
It's a sick discovery, yet Leni could've sworn that she's seen it somewhere before. She just couldn't put her finger on where exactly.
A loud grunt from her left side, makes her turn in curiosity on what could have made it. Gasping to herself while taking a step back, Leni shook in fright as the tyrannosaur laid only a couple feet away from her with bloodstained teeth and snout with a swarm of flies buzzing around it.
Leni didn't know why the tyrannosaur was here in the first place, but she did know that she needed to herself get out of here.
Cautiously lifting up her leg, she slowly takes a couple steps back with constant surveillance on the massive carnivore.
Eventually retreating back into the middle of the area, she very slowly turned around and just as slowly walked her way out of the area, where she then immediately dashes off to warn everyone of the massive danger lurking close by.
Opening up one eye. The tyrannosaur lifts up her massive head to shake off the flies buzzing around it.
Flaring her nostrils. The scent of intruders in her territory is quickly picked up, alerting her enough to get herself up from her rest.
Running pass the gate just as everyone else went to meet up in front of it. They all got alarmed upon seeing Leni running up to them with raised up arms, while babbling with such a quick use of words, no one can understand on what she was exactly talking about.
"Run! Massive! Sharp teeth! Resting! Flies buzzing around! We need to get out of here!" Eventually calming herself down enough to be silent. Leni holds her hands together in front of her chest, while visibly shaking out of her skin.
All the while her family, McBrides, and Rip blankly looked at her with a couple of slow blinks. Although there is definite clear concerns from how scared she is.
"What's wrong kiddo? You look like you've seen a ghost." Lynn Sr. exclaimed in worry.
"That would be wicked." Lucy muttered to herself with a small smile.
"Not a ghost. Most likely a-" Lisa is then abruptly cut off by a loud thump, instantly alerting everybody as another thump shortly came through the ground and reverberated up their bodies.
"What's is that?" Howard fearfully asked, while looking around the area with everyone else for the source of the thumbing that grew closer and louder. Rip however stayed focused on only one specific area with narrowed eyes for he can clearly see what was making it.
"It's trouble mates. Big trouble."
Stomping her foot down a few feet away from them. Everyone turned around, going completely rigid upon seeing the massive tyrannosaur looking down at the many intruders in her territory.
"Oh man." Lynn muttered under her breath, while taking a slow step back away from the massive predator, who slowly moved her head to the right as she continued to study them.
For everyone else though; they are just too frozen in fear to do anything, while Rip could only hope that their lack of movement wouldn't trigger the hunting instincts of the predator that can kill them without much effort.
The tyrannosaur suddenly releases a loud bellow at the intruders, causing instant chaos as everyone scattered in different directions. Watching them, she lays her eyes on a fleeing Lola in front of her and goes in pursuit, quickly gaining ground on the small girl.
Reaching a table. Lola dives herself under it, only for the tyrannosaur to crush it into splinters with one bite of her mighty jaws. Wood flies everywhere with several of the smaller pieces pelting Lola's back as she held herself in tornado drill position, while cowering underneath the shadow of the mighty tyrannosaur.
Looking down at her with a few pieces of wood dropping out of her massive mouth. She lunges for the young girl with her mouth being only a few inches away from her, when a soccer ball suddenly strikes her at the side of the face; stopping her in time.
Getting hit again by a basketball this time. The tyrannosaur turns to look at the ball kicker, which turned out to be Lynn, who's bouncing herself up and down while waving her arms around on the square purpose of keeping the predator's attention only focused in on her. "Over here lizard brain! Keep away from my sister!"
Releasing a mighty, angry bellow. Lynn took that cue to run on into the bar and grill, she jumps over the counter, where she finds Luna, Lori, and Luan cowering behind it. Neither them or Lynn ever even had a chance to utter a single word to each other as shortly after Lynn got herself settled. The head of the tyrannosaur smashes right through the front glass, bellowing loudly at the three girls who shrieked at the now snapping mouth that tried in vain to reach them.
The tyrannosaur then begins moving her head from left to right, knocking down any chairs and tables in her way. Releasing another mighty bellow, the four girls covered up their ears from how loud it was, she easily beats Luna's loudest shreds by a mile.
It's however very fortunate that despite the terror of having a mouth of a T-Rex being only a couple feet away from them, she can't reach any of them, no matter how much she tried. They still cowered in terror though.
Her growing frustration eventually gets the best of her. Releasing a grunt, she pulls her head out of the building, stands back up to her full height, then turns to face one of the fake palm trees, catching sight of a trembling Leni behind it.
Peeking out to see where the tyrannosaur is. Leni releases a little gasp before ducking back into her hiding place for if she can't see it, it can't see her. Three booming footsteps then comes up on her position, fallowed directly by a growl that's practically right next to her ear.
"Get out of the way! Missy!"
Feeling the sudden grasp of a strong hand gripping her wrist. Leni suddenly found herself being pulled away with the feeling of dino-spit splattering all over the back of her head. Opening her eyes; she sees Rip Hardcore pulling her towards the safety of a coffee shop, he then takes a glance back behind them, showing off the terror within his eyes.
"Move girl! Don't look back!" Pulling harder in order for her to be in front of him. They continue running for the shop, when a mighty breeze rose up behind Leni, fallowed up directly by Rip screaming for his life.
Despite on what he had just said earlier, Leni couldn't help but to look back to see what was going on? Something she quickly regretted.
With one arm firmly clamped inside the front of the tyrannosaur's mouth. Rip is lifted up into the air, shook around violently like one of Charlie's toy ropes, then thrown to the ground with one arm missing from its socket.
It was all Leni needed to see as she doubled time into the coffee shop, closing the door just as a terrible crunch of bones splintering echoed into her ears.
Peeking out from one of the columns on the right building at the end of Main Street. Rita; right along with her husband and the McBrides held in their horrified gasps as they watched the tyrannosaur bring the upper half of Rip Hardcore into her mouth.
It was more than enough for both Howard and Lynn to faint on the spot. This causes their individual partners to quickly drag them out of view in just the nick of time as the tyrannosaur looked over in their general direction for a few seconds before looking over at another shop.
Rita and Harold both couldn't believe that they have just witnessed Rip getting eaten. The poor man! He was just so young and still had a good ton of life in him. What a terrible way to go, and they; right along with the children could be next if they don't get out of here immediately.
Taking another peek down Main Street to see if the tyrannosaur is still in its current position. Rita saw that it was as it now currently sniffed the ground, but that wasn't all for looking a couple feet away from the predator, she spots both Lucy and Lana hiding behind a tipped over table, holding onto each other.
She just had to get her babies out of there, but they are just a too good of a distance away to simply go on over and get them without getting spotted. If only she can just divert the tyrannosaur's attention elsewhere, then possibly her daughters can just sneak themselves on over to them.
If only she had something near her to throw. Mainly a rock or a metal can.
A loud shriek just then echoed throughout the area, startling her; as well as getting the tyrannosaur's attention by turning her head in the general direction the noise is coming from.
Stomping her way on over to the source. Lana takes the chance to look out from her hiding spot to see what was happening.
Seeing how the rex now has her back to them, Lana takes this chance to grab hold of her sister's hand and upon seeing her mother beckoning them over to her, pulls her right on over to the safety of her mother's side.
The loud shrieking comes from a square device that constantly repeated the sound. The tyrannosaur stares at it curiously for a moment as she couldn't understand on why such a shriek came out of this thing. All she did know was that it aggravated her enough to stomp down on it with her foot, completely silencing the device for good.
While doing so; Lisa, who has thrown her emergency animal call box. Took this chance to sneak into several buildings in order to collect her sisters with Lynn, Lori, Luna, and Luan being the last ones.
Making sure that the tyrannosaur was still distracted. They all quickly make a dash for the end of Main Street.
Turning around to face them. The tyrannosaur roars, scaring them enough to pick up the pace.
Lynn Sr. and Howard have just regained consciousness by the time the kids made it on over to them. Upon laying their eyes on the approaching Rex, they wasted no time to get themselves up and run with their families down the West Boardwalk.
Chasing after them, the tyrannosaur had no problem on quickly catching up to the screaming group. Luan dares to look back at the pursuing predator, a decision she quickly regretted as that mouth of sharp teeth was only a couple meters away from snatching her or someone else up.
Releasing another roar. The tyrannosaur lunges and snaps her mouth just inches away from in-between Luna's and Lori's heads.
It's very clear for Lisa that they needed a quick escape from the late Cretaceous, apex predator and luckily for all of them. She packed several small, smoke grenades in her pocket before leaving on this rescue mission.
Reaching in, she pulls them out and throws them at the tyrannosaur, just as she lunged in again.
The bombs detonate, fogging up the tyrannosaur's vision with thick smoke that causes her to stop and shake her head, while letting out noises of discomfort. When the smoke eventually cleared up, she finds the intruders gone, most likely escaping into the jungle.
All she can really do now was lift her head up and release an angry roar.
Although having successfully escape the clutches of the tyrannosaur. Both families are way too terrified to stop themselves from running, even with branches and ferns slapping them in the faces, they just kept on running and running. Pushing pass another large fern. They are suddenly stopped in their tracks by colliding into something hard enough to scatter them everywhere with collective groans and moans.
Holding onto her aching head. Lori slowly glances up to what they all ran into and gasps in shock, followed shortly by everyone else who went to look up and then go completely stiff with stunned, frozen expressions.
In front of them in an equal amount of stun and shock upon seeing their loved ones being here. Lincoln and Clyde couldn't even muster up any words for running into their families during their trek back to Main Street is certainly very unexpected. It's as unexpected as finding a one hundred dollar bill on the ground or becoming the one million customer at the comic book store.
"Guys?" Lincoln at last spoke up in disbelief.
"Clyde! Our little man!" Zooming in fast, both Howard and Harold scooped him up into a hug, crying their eyes out while virtually crushing him in between their chests.
For Lincoln it was double time as both his parents and all nine of his sisters hugged him in a snake like grasp, all the while talking all at the same time.
"Oh my gosh! We thought that we would literally never see you again!"
"Look at all the these scratches Linky. We gotta bandage you up, until your all better!"
"Oh my poor baby. Me and Harold should've never let you come here!"
"Very impressive on how you and Clyde have completely managed to survive on your own for this long. Not many can pull such a feat elder brother."
"Sure takes a lot of guts bro." Giving him a slight punch to the shoulder, Lynn then gives Lincoln an even tighter hug, lifting him off his feet from how strong it was.
"I'm so happy. I can't even think of a pun right now."
"Sweetie. Please don't ever suggest on going to island for camp again." Rita exclaimed in between tears.
"Your definitely going to Camp Mastodon next summer." Lynn Sr. remarked in agreement.
"Guys. What are you even doing here?" Lincoln at last managed to speak up. After finally getting in some room to breathe.
"We're here to rescue you. Ya fool!" Lola joyfully remarked.
"All by yourselves? Don't get us wrong. We are deeply honored you storm the island, but we thought that you would at least bring someone with you?" Clyde said after squeezing his head out from his dads hugs.
"Oh. We had Mr. Hardcore as our guide." Leni happily stated much to the amazement of both Lincoln and Clyde.
"No way! Rip Hardcore! You actually got him here!" Lincoln yelled out before immediately looking around for the world's famous survivalist, right along with Clyde, who's face eventually switched to question upon not seeing any of sign of him.
"Where is he?"
The mere question gets them all silent. How in the world can they exactly tell them that their favorite survivalist had been killed? The poor boys have already been through enough over the passed couple of months, they didn't need to add any more drama into their lives. Therefore; they needed to break it to them slowly.
"Uh. How can I say this?" Lynn Sr. began. "But uh, Rip didn't make it." He winced, hating that the world shattering information has struck them like a wrecking ball.
"Wait what?" They both stated in shock.
"The T-Rex got him." Lucy informed much more bluntly. "May his hardcore soul find everlasting peace."
Absolutely speechless over the unfortunate news. One of their heroes had been taken out, sure the irony of someone who lived to be hardcore, ultimately got taken out by the world's most famous dinosaur is hardcore of it's self. But still; it struck them both hard enough to sink them both to the ground.
Their families let them have this moment for about a couple minutes before their individual set of parents gently urged them back up. "We know it's saddening honey and we'll have a proper memorial for him when we get back. But first. Let's get ourselves off this island."
"Wait? Off?" Clyde repeated, not really sure he heard that right.
"Indeed son. We have a boat waiting for us back at the docks." Harold confirmed.
They can actually leave this island? They can finally go home? Oh man! This was the greatest news they ever received. It's such great news that they instantly forget about the tragedy of Rip Hardcore's death, at least for the time being.
"Well then. What are we waiting for? Let's get out of here!" Lincoln cheerfully stated.
"Fully agree little bro. This place is just too bad to the bone for my liking." Luna remarked for she had just about enough of Isla Nublar, something which the other sisters can full hardly agree on.
And so with the help of Lisa as the navigator. The Louds and McBrides headed off for the docks, where Lincoln's and Clyde's ticket out of here is waiting for them.
Their nightmare is pretty much finished in their minds.
