It hadn't been a secret to any of the Weasley brothers that their little sister was absolutely obsessed with the boy-who-lived as she grew up. She spoke about him relentlessly and even had written out invitation cards to their wedding when she was nine. However, then she met him, and the confident young lady became a shy little girl.

None of the Weasley brothers had expected that Ginny would end up fulfilling her childhood fantasy and marry the man of her dreams, though, the hints throughout the years leading to it should have told them that their little sister wasn't a wallflower and would go for what she believed in, or at least, who she believed in.

Ron, the youngest brother, had been best friends with Harry since the very second they had met on the train to Hogwarts. It was an instant and genuine friendship which lasted them through several years of adventures together. He was also the last person to realise that Harry shared the same feelings as his sister.

Ron looked at Hermione completely dumbfounded. He really was struggling to understand what his girlfriend was referring to. "You're not making any sense," he finally decided out loud.

She sighed. "What doesn't make sense?"

Oh, dear. Ron could tell that she was annoyed with him. He didn't want to have an argument with her so took a second to breathe before replying. "Why on earth would Ginny want to come on a double date with us and Harry? Is she bringing a date too?"

"Double date means two couples," Hermione replied vaguely.

That didn't help. "So Harry and his date, and us. Why did you mention Ginny?"

"Ginny is Harry's date."

Silence. Ron's mind went completely blank as irrational anger grew within him. He had presumed his sister's silly fascination with Harry had passed by now when she realised he wasn't this folk hero but now this. How was he supposed to react with this? Still not wanting to argue with Hermione, he simply turned and stormed off.

Fred and George, known as the care-free twins, were the first to know. They pride themselves that they knew before the pair did.

"Hey, Freddie," George whispered, elbowing his brother.

Without needing any more context, Fred instantly noticed Harry sending Ginny a longing look as she sat with Dean Thomas. "I bet they date this year."

"You're on."

They shook hands and just waited for the inevitable to happen.

The other Weasley brothers had less chance to spot the interactions between the future husband and wife. Percy graduated before either of them really reached the age of looking at each other romantically, and was fully focused on his schoolwork when he was at Hogwarts with them. However, even though he was one of the most distant brothers, he had heard rumours about the two of them, none of them directed towards him, of course - he wasn't one for gossip.

Percy had remained to keep his head low as he started to ascend the hierarchy within the Ministry and make a good name for himself, though, wherever he went, his family also made a name for themselves, but not in the way he would have liked.

Rumours about his family believing that Voldemort had returned was one of the straws that broke the camel's back and he honestly couldn't understand why they believed his lies. And even more unfortunately for the budding Ministry of Magic - yes, he was ambitious - the rumours he heard were becoming more and more common and that was affecting his employers' trust in him.

"I've heard directly from a source at Hogwarts that Ginny Weasley has also aligned herself with Potter as his girlfriend," said a man a few years his senior.

Eyes lingered over the ginger. "How many of your family believe that traitors lie?"

Ashamed, Percy bowed his head. "My family is very misguided." He simply couldn't believe that his little sister had been pulled in on this. He knew that she'd never date somebody who spread lies. She was too headstrong for that.

Bill and Charlie, while being the first brothers to move out of the Weasley Burrow, and having never actually met Harry until after him and Ginny first started dating, knew that there was something between them. They visited their family on occasions and all one had to do was listen to Ginny's words to know that it wasn't a childhood fantasy but something real. At least, it turned more serious and more real as she grew up. And when she started to become shy around the matter, that's when both of them knew that their little sister had found love.

By the time Harry and Ginny's wedding had arrived, the whole wizarding world knew about the relationship. They knew that on the 24th of August, surrounded by their family and closest friends, that the two would tie to knot in an undisclosed location - which turned out to be the Burrow.

The whole Wizarding World celebrated the matrimony and rejoiced that the boy-who-lived, that the saviour, had found love and was happy.

What they didn't know, or care about, was that Ginny's life long dream had come true. However, it wasn't marrying the man who held the responsibility of the wizarding world on his shoulders, nor was it ending up with the man from her childhood books. It was meeting and falling in love with somebody who cared for her, respected her, and never held her back from her dreams.

To Ginny, Harry wasn't the boy-who-lived, but the boy-who-sacrificed. So while he was perfect for her, she always ensured that she would give him everything he needed plus more. He deserved to know that she was always there for him, regardless of what happened. And if, for the unfortunate reason that she wasn't around, that he was loved. Not just by her, but by the whole Weasley family.

And her vows had said just that.

Harry, when I dreamt of the perfect man, I dreamt of who I thought you would be. I am so glad that you are not that fantasy from the books.

You are the sweetest, bravest, considerate, and understanding individual that I have ever met.

I fell in love with you; with the words you say, the comfort you give, and the friendship you share with everyone.

I will always be here for you, whether it's to dry your tears, share your happiness, or follow you into the unknown. As long as I am around, you will never be alone. You have me, my family, and yourself.

Forever and always.
