The Helicarrier shook violently as explosions rocked its structure. The sound of twisting metal and blaring alarms mingled with the screams of personnel running in all directions. Through the windows, the ocean could be seen rapidly approaching, a dark blue abyss swallowing the giant ship.

"Abandon ship! Repeat, abandon ship!" The voice over the loudspeakers was firm, but it failed to hide the urgency. The once-roaring engines were now barely an agonized murmur as the Helicarrier tilted, losing its battle against gravity.

Sparks and smoke filled the corridors. S.H.I.E.L.D. agents moved efficiently, but the panic was palpable. Some clung to the hope of lifeboats, while others tried to save critical equipment, knowing that every second was vital.

Water began to invade the lower decks, a relentless torrent that swept everything in its path. The colossal machine, the pride of aerospace technology, was being transformed into a jumble of submerged iron. From above, rescue helicopters were descending in a last-ditch effort to save those still on board.

Meanwhile, one of the helicopters was moving away from the Helicarrier to approach the Raft, this one carrying the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. himself, Nick Fury, accompanied by a squadron of 4 agents.

"You're acting director till I come back, Hill. Save who you can. Contain any escapes you see. I'll update you from the Raft." Fury said through the communicator on his wrist.

"And if the Raft prisoners are free?" the agent asked over the comm.

"Then you should enjoy being acting director while you can." Replied the Director.

The helicopter quickly landed on the raft with the agents.

"Look alive Boys. Shoot first ask questions later." Said the Director to his team.

However, all 4 of them staggered. Suddenly, the water began to vibrate, an invisible wave of energy rippling through the vast expanse of water. Rocks and sediment rose up, creating a cloud of sea dust. At the epicenter of this disturbance, The Raft began to move.

Graviton, with his absolute power over gravity, hovered above the surface, his hands raised in a gesture of total control. His fixed, concentrated gaze reflected the enormous force he was displaying. Under his influence, the prison began to rise, a titan of metal and concrete slowly emerging from the abyss.

The walls of The Raft creaked and groaned under the pressure. Streams of water swirled around the structure, creating raging eddies that reflected the conflict between the forces of nature and the power of the villain. From the prison windows, inmates watched in awe and fear as the sea that held them prisoner began to recede.

As the giant prison rose, the ocean seemed to open up in its wake, a tunnel of water yielding to gravitational power. Fish fled in panic, and the algae stirred in a chaotic dance. The prison's pressure sensors screamed in alarm, unable to process the phenomenon that was dragging them to the surface.

Finally, with a burst of foam and water, the Raft broke the surface of the sea, rising majestically and defiantly. Graviton, with a stoic gaze, contemplated his handiwork, as the prison floated on the waves, freed from its underwater tomb. The sun shone on its structure, casting long, ominous shadows, foreshadowing the catastrophe that was about to be unleashed.

"Evac Now. Abort the Mission. Everyone off this barge." Nick Fury warned as he started to move to jump, but an irresistible force stopped him and lifted him upward. He was pulled by the villain until he was positioned in front of him. The aegnte tried to defend himself by pulling out his weapon but Graviton with a single movement of his finger took it out of his hands and threw it into the water.

"Graviton." Nick Fury said with a defiant look on his face as he glared at the villain.

Meanwhile in another part of the city.

Mark Grayson was in the middle of unpacking boxes in his new small apartment. He had spent all morning trying to make sense of the tangle of belongings piled everywhere. Clothes, books and small appliances were strewn chaotically across the floor and furniture.

The television, perched precariously on a cardboard box, was on, providing background noise as Mark hung a shirt in the closet. The evening news was passing by without drawing too much of his attention, until an urgent headline made him pause.

"...breaking news. A raft connected to what appears to be some sort of underwater prison of The Raft is emerging from the ocean, apparently by unknown forces," the anchorwoman announced, her voice full of alarm.

Mark dropped the perch he held in his hand and walked over to the television, turning up the volume.

On the screen, live images showed the giant structure of The Raft rising from the sea, surrounded by swirling water and debris. The prison floated, defying the laws of physics in a way that could only mean one thing: someone with immense power was behind it.

"What the Hell?" muttered Mark, not knowing who was causing this.

Mark's heart began to beat faster. He knew this wasn't a simple incident; it was a call to action. In a matter of seconds, his mind went from moving routine to hero mode. He dropped the shirt and quickly made his way to the box labeled "suit."

The suit Mark wore was a makeshift creation, reflecting the urgency and youthful enthusiasm of a new hero.

The suit consisted primarily of a set of sportswear. A long-sleeved, dark blue T-shirt formed the top, close-fitting but without the streamlined details of the classic suit. The pants were black and functional, made of a stretchy material that allowed freedom of movement but lacked any special design. Over the shirt, there was a sort of protective vest or bib, made of a tougher material, perhaps modified from some sports equipment. This added an extra layer of protection, although it was neither bulletproof nor particularly resistant to heavy impact. The vest was black in color, with some visible rivets and stitching, indicating its hasty construction. The boots were also functional, black in color, with reinforced soles to absorb the impact of their quick landings and takeoffs. They were clearly adapted from military or tactical footwear, suitable for adventure but not specifically designed for flying.

Gloves completed the attire, simple and black, offering a little extra protection to the hands without sacrificing dexterity.

The mask was the most distinctive element, though still primitive. It covered the upper part of his face, leaving the mouth and chin uncovered. Made of a tight-fitting, flexible material, the mask was dark blue to match the shirt, but without the more elaborate design elements of the costume that would come later. There were no symbols or logos; it was a suit of function rather than form.

He opened the box and pulled out his Invincible suit, dressing in quick, precise movements, his mind already focused on the mission ahead.

Before leaving, he took one last glance at the television. The news was showing the chaos the emerging prison was causing at sea and in the coastal cities. With a determined look, Mark adjusted his gloves and mask.

"This can't wait," he said quietly, more to himself than anyone else.

With an impulse, he climbed out the open window, taking to the skies in the direction of The Raft, leaving his moving boxes behind and entering the eye of the storm. He knew that at this moment the city needed him, and he wouldn't waste another second.

Returning to the Raft Zone

After Graviton had tried to kill Fury with his powers, he was stopped by Thor's hammer blow, while Wasp took advantage of this situation to save Fury and carry him away from the sea towards the dock. However with Graviton distracted, the Raft fell back into the ocean causing a mini Tsunami that caused the Director and the Heroine to almost be engulfed by it, however they were saved. Once they reached the dock, Nick Fury set about establishing communication again with S.H.I.I.E.L.D to update on the situation in the city.

"SHIELD command, this is director Nick Fury. I am declaring an Omega Level Emergency. Every SHIELD agent, every Hulkbuster unit, the U.S Armed Forces, they are all now under my direct control." Said the agent over his communicator.

Meanwhile at his side stood Janet Van Dyne, also known as The Wasp and Hank Pym, known aas the Ant-Man. The two looked at each other as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D as he ended his call.

"Wow, Nick Fury is actually worried." Said the Wasp.

"Who is he?" Asked the Ant-Man with intrigue.

"Dr. Franklin Hall." Fury replied.

"The Physicist? No one's heard from him in years. Not since he joined SHIELD. What happened to Him?" asked a surprised Ant-Man.

"That's classified." Nick Fury replied. As a bolt of lightning from the battle between titans that was taking place in the sky, illuminated the clouds.

"Really? Because I think it's about to get unclassified pretty quick." He told her ironically.

However, at that moment, a sound interrupted them, a sort of Sonic Boom was heard in New York City. It had been produced by a strange individual taking to the skies and heading towards the place of the fight.

"Who's that?" The Wasp asked curiously.

"Will it be another supervillain?" asked the Ant-Man.

"No." Nick Fury quickly replied. "This is different."

Meanwhile, in the sky, Thor, the God of Thunder, was battling Graviton, though the fight was going nowhere as every time Thor attacked Graviton repelled him with his powers over gravity.

"Enough this ends now." Said the God of Thunder as he swung his hammer around his body, to launch one more attack towards Graviton. However before he launched his hammer something took him and Graviton by surprise.

A young man who at a speed faster than the speed of sound, struck Graviton sending him away.

"Phew! It's been a while since I've flown that fast, what was Mach 3? Mach 4? Must be a new record I'm sure." Said the masked hero to himself. Before realizing he was in the presence of another individual. "Oh hey there, you're Thor right? I've seen you on the news, cool hammer by the way." Said the young superhero as he pointed to the hammer in the hand of the God of Thunder.

Thor, surprised, turned his head to look at the newcomer. Before him, a young man dressed in a blue and black colored suit, with a mask covering the upper part of his face, hovered in the air. The suit was simple but functional, and although he wore no recognizable emblem, his bearing and confidence were undeniable.

"Who are you, young warrior?" exclaimed Thor, still holding Mjolnir tightly, as he gazed in awe at the newcomer.

"I am Invincible," Mark replied in a firm voice, landing next to Thor. "I saw you needed help with this guy."

Thor raised an eyebrow, still puzzled. "I haven't heard of you before, what world are you from?"

"I'm not from around here, but I'm here to help," Mark replied, bracing himself for the next assault from the villain who was already rising, enraged.

However before they could converse further Graviton returned from where Invincible had thrown him, the enemy with a furious face shouted "Another one? When are you going to learn? It doesn't matter how many of you there are, you can't defeat me. I am not like you, I control one of the 4 fundamental forces of reality, I have infinite power." Said a furious Graviton, already recovered from the initial blow, he let out a roar and rushed towards the heroes again. Without wasting any more time, Mark propelled himself into the encounter, while Thor, still impressed by the audacity and strength of the young hero, joined the combat with renewed energy.

"Very well, Invincible. Let us fight together and stop this villain." declared Thor, brandishing his hammer with a defiant smile.

Together, Thor and Invincible coordinated their attacks with devastating precision. Mjolnir's blows and Mark's superhuman strength complemented each other, creating a symphony of power that quickly put the villain on the defensive. Though Thor did not yet know this new ally, he recognized the bravery and power in him, feeling a renewed hope in battle.

As the heroes went to clash with their enemy, down on the dock the 2 heroes and Director Fury watched in amazement at the fight between the 3 titans.

"Well that was unexpected, however still no one can tell me who it is?" the Wasp asked curiously.

"I have no idea, but if I'm being honest Jan I'm intrigued, that guy flew at supersonic speed and used momentum as a way to concentrate more force into his punch. IF it was an ordinary person going at that speed it would have destroyed him, yet right now he's fighting like nothing happened, just fascinating." Said Ant-Man.

As Ant-Man and Wasp looked curiously at the new hero, director Nick Fury had already recognized him. Mark Grayson, S.H.I.E.L.D had been keeping a close eye on him for the past few years, after all he had been involved in several heroic events in St. Marys, which the press and therefore the popular eye didn't know who he was doing. Adding to the mystery surrounding him, it's not every day you discover a super with the abilities the boy possessed. 'Super Speed, Super Strength, Super Endurance and Super Reflexes, who are you really Mark Grayson?' the agent wondered. And is Mark Grayson just one of the many gifted individuals who had been appearing in recent times. Nick Fury was no fool, he knew that day by day the world was becoming more complicated, not only because of the large number of supervillains but also because of the great proliferation of people with extraordinary abilities, first the mutants, the arrival of Thor on Earth, then the appearance of Iron Man and the Fantastic 4 and now Mark Grayson. The world was changing very fast and it was S.H.I.E.L.D.'s duty to adapt in order to protect it as best as possible.

However, he was suddenly interrupted from his thoughts by the voice of the Wasp.

"I just can't stand here and watch this. We have to do something. If they can't stop him, he'll come into the city." Said the heroine worried about the 2 heroes.

"Don't you think I know that, Wasp?" Nick Fury replied curtly.

"Jan." Said Ant-Man resting a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down before she did something crazy. However, she pulled away from him removing her hand.

"We're talking of millions of people. I'm not going to let that happen." She said as she shrank back to fly off into battle.

"Jan, Jan wait." shouted Ant-Man trying to get her to come back.

Meanwhile the conflict between the heroes and the villain was not going very well, every blow they threw at him, Graviton repelled it with his powers.

"Can't you see that your efforts are useless, you have no chance of beating me and I think it's about time to end this fight." Graviton said as he grabbed the 2 heroes with the force of Gravity.

"You know, I'd say you're right, but I was never one to give up and even less so without putting up a good fight first." Invincible said as he fought against the pulling forces.

"I agree with the young warrior, we are not defeated yet." Said Thor as he mimicked Invincible and tried to move.

Graviton seeing this, couldn't help but put on a look of disbelief. "What in your primitive minds, can't you understand what I'm telling you? You can't win against me, I already won and there is nothing you can do to stop me from finishing off Fury and showing the world my enormous power." Said with an arrogant tone the villain.

However, to his surprise Invincible was slowly detaching his limbs that were held together by the attraction and managing to move again, as he slowly floated towards Graviton.

"This is not possible, how can it be that you can move if I am exerting my power over you? What are you?" said in a mixture of astonishment and terror the villain, who at that moment felt like a prick in his neck, as if a bug had bitten him, without having seen that it was the work of The Wasp that taking advantage of his distraction attacked him in a vulnerable area.

"Ouch, what the hell is going on here." He said as he grabbed the stung spot, however, that brief moment of distraction was enough for the 2 heroes to completely break free of his grip and go for it.

Thor was the first to attack. With a roar, he lunged towards Graviton, swinging Mjolnir in a wide arc. Graviton tried to parry the attack with a gravitational barrier, but the force of Thor's hammer smashed through it, striking Graviton in the shoulder and sending him flying several meters.

Mark wasted no time. Using his superhuman speed and strength, he launched himself at the villain while he was still recovering from the impact. With a powerful punch, Mark connected a punch straight to Graviton's stomach, bending him in two. Before the villain could react, Mark followed up with an upward hook, which launched him skyward.

Graviton, though injured, regained control in midair. With a furious gesture, he manipulated gravity around Mark, attempting to crush him with intense pressure. However, Mark resisted, his invincible strength overcoming the increased gravity.

Thor, taking advantage of the distraction, called down a bolt of lightning from the clear sky. With a deafening thunderclap, the lightning struck Graviton, leaving him stunned and vulnerable. Swiftly, Thor flew at him, unloading a series of blows with Mjolnir, each impact resounding like thunder and forcing Graviton back.

"Now, Invincible!" shouted Thor.

Invincible moved with incredible speed, closing the distance between him and Graviton in an instant. With a final thrust, Mark launched a powerful punch straight at the villain's face, followed by another to the torso. The force of the impacts sent Graviton crashing to the ground, creating a crater at his landing spot.

Breathing heavily, Graviton tried to get up, but Thor landed next to him, placing Mjolnir on his chest, immobilizing him with its mystical weight.

"No, I will not allow it, I am stronger than you I cannot lose." Graviton said as he shook the earth again with his power. "I will defeat you." He said as he used his powers to launch the 2 propelled into space so they would have time to collect themselves.

Graviton got up but quickly fell back down to one knee. "What's happening to me? Am I tired? That's not possible, I am Graviton, I control gravity, I am unstoppable." He said while breathing heavily from the physical exertion he had been subjected to in the battle.

"I don't think so Blackbeard." Said a voice coming from the sky, at that moment a huge beam of energy fell on Graviton. Iron Man had finally arrived. Protected by a powerful red and yellow armor that he himself had created, Tony Stark made his appearance. While in mid-air, Tony encountered The Wasp.

"Hey Janet. I knew we traveled in some of the same social circles, but I didn't know you came to parties like this." Iron Man said in a wry tone. "So who was that guy?" finally asked Iron Man.

"Some crazy physicist. Something to do with Nick Fury. Tony I am glad to see you." Wasp said now relieved. "I wasn't sure if you were on the west coast or-" Wasp said before remembering something.

"Oh no. Thor and that guy!"

"What?"

"Thor the guy with the hammer and one other guy I don't even know who he is yet launched them into space, you have to help them." Wasp said.

"Wow Janet, that guy sent them into space?" However before they could converse further, something emerged from the ocean behind them, which made them turn around only to see that Graviton was back and he didn't look happy.

"Warning-gravitational field atound the target is in flux. Extreme caution advised" Said Iron Man's personal AI as it displayed a warning to him.

"Jan, the energy he is putting out-the only comparison is a black hole. This guy is trouble." Iron Man said in a more alert tone.

"You're right." Said Graviton before using his powers to send him to the bottom of the ocean.

Meanwhile on the dock, Ant-Man and Nuck Fury who were still watching the events unfold, couldn't help but react in shock and awe at this.

"What are Graviton upper limits." Ant-Man asked.

"We've studied him for years, and as far as we could tell, he doesn't have any." Nick Fury replied. "What do you think you are going to do, Pym? Talk him down?" Fury asked sarcastically.

To which Ant-Man only replied as he turned his back to him. "No, it's to late for that." As he pressed a button on his belt that began to wrap him in Pym Particles.

Returning to Graviton, he was being attacked by Wasp from various angles to which he only responded by impulsively trying to catch her but failing miserably, until suddenly the villain was caught by the hands of a giant, one that Wasp quickly recognized. This giant was wearing a red suit with black and blue accents and wore a mask covering most of his face with visible antennae.

"Hank, you went big." She said in awe.

"Janet, get out of here. I'll handle Graviton." Said the giant man.

"What? No, we're in this together." Wasp replied.

"Yes Giant Man, we're in this together."

Replied a male voice as well, which made the 2 look to see where that had come from. Their response was quickly obtained as it was over their heads. Above them, stood Thor and the new hero who had been fighting Graviton before being sent into space. The 2 appeared to be inside all intact not counting the ice shards on their suits, probably due to the cold of the vacuum of space they were exposed to when Graviton launched them.

"Is Thor." Wasp said excitedly. "And..." Before she could say anything, the other figure introduced himself. "Oh sorry, I forgot I hadn't introduced myself to you yet, my name is Invincible it's nice to meet you." Replied the now identified as Invincible.

"Invincible? Don't you think that name is a bit optimistic?" Wasp asked in a joking tone.

To which Invincible only replied with a shrug.

However, before they could speak further Graviton pulled out of Ant-Man's grip with a gravitational push. Which sent everyone flying off in different directions. However, as Ant-Man was repelled, his foot dragged the sand on the seabed just enough for Iron Man, who was still down there, to get out.

"Jarvis, remind me to wear a bathing suit next time." He said sarcastically as he ascended to the surface.

Meanwhile, Ant-Man crashed into the dock where Nick Fury was still standing. Reacting to what was causing his quarrel with Hall, Hall quickly told him.

"This is between us Hall. Do whatever you want with me, but no one else has to get hurt."

"No, you wanted me to create a supersoldier, but I've become so much more. I'm beyond human now. I'm going to crush you and show the world their new master's power." Said in a threatening tone the villain.

"Not if I can help it." A quick Invincible said before punching the surprised man in the face. He punched him strong enough to send it flying towards some containers, where it left a giant crater. However, before the villain could even get up, Invincible crushed him, falling on him with his legs to later continue hitting him euphorically while he shouted. "I won't let you hurt anyone, you fucking psychopath." All this while continuing to hit the villain hard. The repeated combination of incessant blows were beginning to deform Graviton's face, the villain tried to get rid of the hero using his powers but every time he tried to move his hands to use them, the hero hit him again to prevent him from getting up.

As this happened, the heroes started to get up sore from the impact.

"Damn, that hurt." Said Ant-man.

"No kidding Hank." Replied The Wasp, however his pained expression quickly changed as he realized something. "Wait where are Thor and Invincible?"

"Here I am mortals." Said the God of Thunder as he landed next to them. "Are you all right?" The Mjolnir wielder asked them to which they quickly nodded.

"Where is Invincible?" Wasp asked to which the God simply replied "I have no idea."

However, as if they had been answered they suddenly heard a loud incessant noise, as if they were fighting.

"Do you hear it? Invincible must be in trouble, we have to help him." Said a worried Wasp to which the other 2 heroes only nodded, however at that moment the sound of some turbines distracted them, Iron Man had returned "Do you need support?" asked the hero rhetorically to which the others only smiled. Once they started heading quickly to where they thought the fight was they were followed closely without realizing it by Fury and a squad of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

Once they arrived at Invincible's location they were immediately dumbfounded, instead of the scenario they had imagined of an evenly matched fight between the hero and Graviton, all they found was the latter receiving a one-sided beating from the hero. So Thor quickly intervened by flying over to where Mark was.

"Invincible stop." He said as he tried to separate the hero from Graviton.

"No, he has to pay." He said as Thor finally managed to separate him from the villain.

"Invincible please calm down." Said Ant-Man once he arrived on the scene trying to separate him with Thor and Iron Man coming down to help them. In response to the interference of these 3, Invincible finally broke away from Graviton to berate them.

"Why? Why don't you let him get what he deserves? He wanted to destroy the city, I was just stopping him." Invincible said with a face that could be seen to be flushed despite the mask he wore. In response to this, Thor just walked over to tell him this "Invincible I understand what in the heat of battle, one can get out of control but that man can no longer defend himself, besides look at the state you left him in." Thor said as he pointed at Graviton or rather what was left of him.

Where Graviton's face used to be only a sort of deformed face covered in red could be seen, one of his eyes had popped out of their sockets, his nose was out of place and his whole mouth was deformed.

When Mark saw what this was he reacted first with disbelief and then with a look of disgust said "Oh my God. What did I do?" Said the hero as the disturbing image did nothing but make him nauseous which made him end up expelling this morning's breakfast to the side of the crater where the villain was.

To which Thor only responded by approaching him again and placing a hand on his back as he finished expelling the contents of his stomach.

Invincible knelt on the ground, tears in his eyes and hands trembling. All around him, the debris from the last confrontation still smoldered, and Graviton's limp body lay a few feet away. The reality of what he had done hit him hard, harder than any blow he had taken in battle.

"Invincible," Thor said in a deep but compassionate voice, "are you all right?"

Invincible looked up, his eyes full of guilt and despair could be seen through his visors. "I... I didn't mean to... it was an accident. I couldn't control it..."

Before Thor could respond, a small, glowing figure appeared at his side, quickly growing to his normal size. Janet van Dyne, known as Wasp, approached with concern evident on her face.

Wasp exchanged a glance with Thor, however before they could craft a response, Ant-Man spoke up. "We all make mistakes, Invincible. The important thing is to learn from them and move on. We can't change the past, but we can work for a better future."

"Invincible, 'Wasp said softly as he knelt down beside him, placing a delicate hand on his other wrist, 'we're here for you."

Invincible took a deep breath, trying to find comfort in the heroes words. "I... I don't know how to go on after this..."

Thor nodded, his own eyes reflecting the wisdom and experience of centuries of battles and losses. "Sometimes, in battle, things happen that are beyond our control. You cannot take all the blame. We are warriors, but you are also human. Commit mistakes is a part of your nature."

Thor squeezed his shoulder lightly, giving him support. "You will learn to live with it, Invincible. It won't be easy, and the scars will remain. But you must remember what you fight for. You fight for justice, for the protection of the innocent. Use this pain to become stronger, wiser. And never forget that we are here to support you. You don't have to face it alone." Invincible nodded slowly, feeling a little relief at Thor and Wasp's words.

However, at that moment they were surprised by an array of S.H.I.E.L.D military and HulkBuster units commanded by Nick Fury. "Freeze. Step away from Graviton, we'll take it from here." Said the director as he gave the order to a team of paramedics and agents to take the body away.

"Mark Grayson, we need to talk." Said the patched-in agent as he looked at the hero and the hero reacted with a surprised look as he heard his name being spoken by the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

After the battle Graviton was cremated by SHIELD agents and his corpse was taken to the agency's secret scientific facility for examination. Meanwhile the city had gone into shock over Graviton's actions, it quickly returned to normal after all supervillain attacks had unfortunately become a frequent occurrence.

After the battle, the heroes gathered to discuss the day's events on the pier near where the conflict had occurred.

Iron Man landed softly, his repulsors glowing as his armor partially deactivated. He turned to see his teammates-Thor, his hammer still glowing with energy; Wasp, flying in small circles as he assessed the damage; and Ant-Man, changing size to help the wounded. In the center of it all, Invincible was talking to Nick Fury, the leader of S.H.I.I.E.L.D., with the weight of tragedy still evident on his face.

Tony Stark, now without his helmet, looked at his teammates and then at the remains of Graviton. "I can't believe we managed to stop it. That was..." he searched for the right word 'monumental.'

Thor nodded, his expression grave. "Graviton was a formidable opponent. But together, we were able to stop him."

Wasp landed beside him, his face showing both weariness and determination. "We did well, but if we didn't work as a team, it could have been much worse."

Hank Pym, returning to his normal size, approached the others. "Yes, but this threat showed us something important: we need to be prepared for anything."

Tony raised an eyebrow, his eyes sparkling with an idea. "Exactly. This isn't going to be the last time we face something like this. We need to form something more...permanent. A team of heroes who can respond to any threat, no matter where it comes from.

Thor looked at him with interest. "A team, you say?"

"Yes, "Tony replied, with conviction.

"One-on-one, we can each take down a villain or two but 74-none of us can do it alone.

Together, Earth's mightiest heroes, working together, we can make a difference. The world needs us, as a team on our own. Together we can avenge the wrongs caused by all these villains."

"We can be Avengers." Wasp smiled, excited. "I like the idea. But we need more heroes. And I think Mark," she said, pointing to Invincible, who was still talking to Nick Fury, 'would be a great addition.'

Tony nodded, watching Invincible. "Definitely. What happened today was tragic, but it also showed his potential. We need someone like him on our team. But it looks like Nick Fury's got his hands full right now.

Ant-Man, who had been listening to the conversation quietly, frowned with concern. "Tony, are you sure about this? Invincible killed Graviton. As much as it was an accident can we trust him?

Tony looked at Ant-Man, acknowledging his concerns. "I understand your doubts, Hank. But we all make mistakes. What's important is how we learn from them and how we pick ourselves up afterwards. I think Mark has what it takes to redeem himself and become a great Veng.

Wasp, listening to them again chimed in with a soft but firm voice. "I agree with Tony. Invincible has shown his courage and his desire to do the right thing, even when the going gets tough. I think he deserves a chance to prove himself as an Avenger."

Thor raised his hammer, and in a voice that echoed like thunder, proclaimed, "So be it! The Avengers must be a united force. And Invincible would be a valuable addition."

The group nodded, and in that moment, a bond formed between them, stronger than steel, mightier than any force. The Avengers had been born, ready to meet any challenge the universe threw at them.

Wasp looked at Tony and smiled. "Well, it looks like we have a team. Now we just need Mark."

Tony nodded, with a smirk. "That's right, and when he's ready, he'll be one of ours."

(Meanwhile with Mark and Nick Fury a while ago).

"Mark Grayson we need to talk" The director said as he went down to talk to him.

"How? How do you know my name?" Mark said with a still incredulous face.

However the Director didn't answer his question right away "We have been watching you for a while Mark, we know your powers manifested years ago and we know about all the help you have given to the people in St. Marys but I still need you to give me the answer to 2 questions that will decide if you are someone to be trusted or just another threat SHIELD will have to deal with. Where do you really come from and what is your purpose?"

Those 2 questions chilled Mark to the bone, so before answering, he was careful to think his answers through, after all these would define how the world would see him from now on. Invincible was silent for a moment, pondering Fury's questions until he finally answered.

"I don't really know where I came from, my mom told me years ago that I wasn't her biological son and that I had arrived on a ship that crashed near her as she was returning home. As for the second question, ever since I got my powers I always thought about what would be the purpose God had given them to me for, the answer came when I saved a classmate at school from being hit by a car." Mark said until he paused to see if Fury was listening and to his surprise he was staring at him as he spoke, so he continued. "When you can do the things I do but others don't and then something bad happens it's one's fault." Answered Mark sincerely and with a look of determination.

Fury listened intently to Mark's response, his eyes assessing him seriously as he processed his words. After a moment of thoughtful silence, he finally spoke.

"Mark, your response demonstrates a deep understanding of your responsibilities as a hero. The determination and commitment you show are admirable qualities. Although you made a mistake today, your actions and your purpose indicate that you are willing to learn and move forward."

Invincible nodded, feeling a weight lift from his shoulders at Fury's words. He had been worried that his actions had cast doubt on his worth as a hero, but Fury's words gave him hope.

"Thank you, sir. I will do my best to prove that I can be an asset to the cause."

"My name is Nick Fury son, keep that in mind for the next time we talk.

Fury patted him on the shoulder, his expression softening slightly. "If you need any help or advice, don't hesitate to ask me."

Invincible smiled, feeling renewed by the confidence Fury was showing in him.

"However, if you're going to continue being a hero what happened today can't be repeated, okay, today happened with Graviton and the guy was a threat to the world but imagine if someday someone else gets hurt, someone working or just passing by on the street, if that happens I won't be able to protect you and I'll have no choice but to put you behind bars, you have to learn to control your powers. That's why I'm thinking who is qualified enough to teach you how to control your strength."

"I think I can help with that Fury." Iron Man said as he approached them.

"I didn't know you had super strength Stark." Replied Fury sarcastically.

To which he man in armor, only replied "I don't, but he does." He said pointing to Thor.

"Invincible I saw how you handled the situation with Graviton. You made a mistake, but you also showed courage and determination in the face of adversity. Plus a good use of teamwork. I think you have what it takes to be an Avenger."

Invincible blinked in surprise, taking in Iron Man's words. "An Avenger?"

Tony nodded solemnly. "Yes. A team of heroes that protects Earth from threats like the one we face today. And I think you could be a valuable member of that team."

Mark was speechless for a moment, processing the offer. After a pause, he looked at Iron Man with determination in his eyes.

"Are you sure about this Stark if the kid gets into whatever it is you're trying to do, it's on you from now on." Said the director as if warning him.

"I am sure Fury, however the final decision is his. What do you say kid? Are you in?" Iron Man asked looking at Mark who after a few seconds of thinking about it, finally answered.

"I'm in. I would be honored to join to fight alongside you." Mark said as he reached out to shake hands with Tony which Tony shook firmly. "Thank you for this opportunity, sir. I won't let you down."

Tony nodded, his expression serious but encouraging. "We're here to help each other, Mark. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask any of us." Iron Man said as he pointed behind him to the rest. Thor, Wasp and Ant-Man. Seeing this image, Mark just smiled, he knew he had a long road ahead of him, but he also knew he would not be alone in his journey to greatness.

Hello there my dear readers, I just wanted to clarify a few things regarding this fic, I will try to follow the canon of the series but Mark's presence will inevitably end up making several changes so don't expect to see the same plot because that won't happen, that and I also made some small changes in the viltrumites that they will find out later.
