Somewhere that is close to the forest...

Alex, Zor, Derek, and Bromley were at the valley, getting ready for hunting. While Alex got his arrows and bow ready, Zor on his shoulder, and the necklace around his wrist, Bromley was only sitting down and eating an apple until Derek showed him a ripped page with a picture of a mouse.

"It's a mouse." Bromley spoke until he took another bite of his apple.

"The Great Animal." said the prince.

Bromley chuckled as he looked at his friend, "A tad small, wouldn't you say?"

Alex just looked blankly at the page. Surely that's not what Alex and Zor saw after it took Madison.

"Yeah? Until it changes into this." Derek spoke as he shows his friend another page.

Only the picture was different. It was a beast which is mostly a dragon. That is something that the Great Animal would look like as what Alex thought. Mostly, dragons do come in all different shapes and sizes.

"An animal that can change its shape. A harmless creature approach… Then suddenly, it's too late." Derek explained to Bromley.

The average man looked nervously at the picture as he felt like he couldn't take another bite.

"You mean… You mean it could be anything?" he questioned.

"Anything." the prince answered as he and Alex got on their horses. "You ready, Alex?"

"Ready." he answered and Zor chirped as he's ready too.

Bromley was about to take another bite of his apple until he heard a buzzing sound. He looked and saw a dragonfly flying around him, causing him to panic and fell.

Back at Swan Lake...

Odette, Madison, and Speed were swimming around the lake while Jean-bob was riding on the turtle's shell.

"Odette, I apologize for the way I've been acting." the frog spoke as he was looking at the princess.

"It's all right, Jean-bob." Odette replied.

"No, no. This Derek is very important to you. And all I can do is think of myself."

'As always in every movie.' Madison spoke in her thoughts.

"Everyone does that." said Odette.

"Please Odette, don't make this any more difficult than it already is." the frogged begged. "Accept my apology, please."

Odette and Madison looked at each other for a moment. For a while, Jean-bob has been getting on the princess's nerves over kissing a frog, but Madison did make a promise on creating something for the frog to become human. As the two did a faint nod at each other, the two looked back at Jean-bob.

"Okay, I accept." said the princess.

"Good. Now we can kiss and make-up." he said as he puckered his lips and made kissing noises.

"Jean-bob!" the girls and Speed spoke to him in unison as they frowned.

"What? What did I say? What? What?" Jean-bob questioned in confusion and Madison rolled her eyes.

"Ten hut!" Puffin spoke in general tone and the girls along with Speed turned quickly to face him until Jean-bob fell off of Speed's shell. "It is zero hour, troops. Odette, Madison, prepare for take-off."

"Right!" said the girls as they swim to a different direction, having their wings stretched out to prepare to take off.

"The rest of you have your assignments. Is everyone ready?"

"Ready for actions, sir." said Speed.

"How about you, Jean-Bob?" Puffin asked as he looked at him.

The frog was not paying attention to the puffin at all as he was back on Speed's shell, cleaning himself up after falling down to the water. Madison was watching the scene from a far as Puffin was getting Jean-bob's attention.

"You might as well give him the right word." Madison hollered for him.

Puffin looked at her for a moment and looked back at Jean-bob.

"Highness?" he spoke to him as he bowed.

"Oui! I am ready." he answered as he heard the word.

"Take off!" Puffin shouted.

Madison and Odette flapped their wings and took off as they flew while Puffin dives down into the water, swim past Speed and Jean-bob, and popped out as flew with the girls.

"Good luck! Have a nice flight!" Speed hollered to them as he waved goodbye.

"Remember! If anything happens to her, I'll have you whipped, flogged, put on the rack and then have your back legs fried in butter!" Jean-bob shouted at Puffin as he was talking about Odette.

Too bad if he said 'them', he would also mention about Madison, or he probably forgot about the little deal she made with him.

Back at the forest...

Derek and his friends kept on wondering the woods with their horses. It was too quiet around them except the crows cawing. Zor kept on staying close to his master as he looked around. Alex felt his heart pounding, but he's been through it before. Back at the Fairy Kingdom, in the Dark Forest and also hunting as well.

"He's in here, guys. I can feel it." Derek spoke as he stopped and got off of his horse.

Alex did the same as he got off of his horse including Bromley while Zor hanged on to his Alex's shoulder.

"How will you know the Great Animal when you see it?" Bromley questioned as he looked at his friend with a scared look on his face.

"I'll know. Better stay close." said Derek as he got his bow and arrow ready.

Alex got his weapon ready as well as he stood close to the prince. Bromley, on the other hand, accidently bumped into the boys and laugh nervously. "If you say so."

The three stood very close as they started the search. They looked around to see if anything was around, but nothing. Alex stood close with the prince as they came to a different direction but as he looked around, he notices that Bromley wasn't with them and pretty sure the average young man notice that they weren't with him as well as they heard his voice.

"Derek? Derek, where are you?" Bromley shouted in panic.

"Shh, shh!" Derek shushed as he turns to look at his friend.

"Bromley, quiet down." Alex spoke in a hush tone.

"Oh, sorry." Bromley replied with a nervous chuckled.

Derek rolled his eyes but smirked as he and Alex go to the other direction.

"So... how did you and Bromley became friends?" Alex asked as he was still armed.

"He's been with me ever since we were kids, after my father went missing. We grew up as a team plus pals. He, Rogers, and my mother are all what's left for me."

Alex nods his head a little as understands what he meant. In his past, he doesn't remember much of his parents, but with some fairies that took care of them and his friends around, including Madison, he already knew that he was never alone.

"You know, there is something I want to ask you, Alex." Derek spoke.

"And what's that?"

The prince turned to look at him and looked at the necklace that was wrapped around his wrist.

"Your girlfriend's necklace. I just notice something. Was the gem always glowing or it was just the light?"

Alex looked at the prince for a moment. He and Zor then looked at each other as the Bearded Dragon heard the question. With simple nod to his master, Alex looked back at Derek.

"It does glow because... it's magic." he answered as he was started to speak the truth.

"So... girlfriend is magical?"

"Not at first. Madison was just an ordinary young woman who enjoys reading fantasies and magical places. But when she wished to have that kind of an adventure, she somehow came to another world which she and a friend she made somehow killed a wicked witch who was taking over a town of innocent people."

"A witch? Really?"

"Yes, but there is a good witch who somehow gave the necklace, this necklace, that belongs to the witch. The good witch told her that it will grant her power by only good deeds and took her through so many adventures. Even have a book that she can do magic."

"She has powers?"

"Yes, but only that is connected to necklace."

"So, when I saw it glow, was she trying to connect it?"

"That is what me and Zor would think." he answered.

While the Alex continued explaining with the prince, Bromley, who was far from the two, was wondering around with his bow until he spotted something in front of him. A dragonfly. Bromley nervously brought his arrow out and tries to aim it at the bug.

"D-d-d-d-erek. Derek? Oh-oh-oh-oh Derek!" he shouted as he shoots his arrow up into the air while the dragonfly flew off.
