Well, thanks to my original plans falling through for my vacation, I spent most of it writing this latest chapter of this newest story.

As mentioned in the "Witnesses of the Light" latest chapter, I have 'ended' the first book of 'Izuku Midoriya: the Green Gaul', when the second book will come out is still up in the air, but that won't be for a while I'm afraid, considering all the work I still need to do not only for my other stories, but also the reaction story as well.

That being said, while I won't explain everything right now, as the story will do so in the future, I will say this:

- Izuku is a Dovahkiin, meaning that even without his armor and various enchanted gear, he is still technically a 'demi-god', so take that into consideration for what you will about his 'base' strength and all that.

- Our green bean is still intelligent, similar to his canon counterpart, but he has faced many trials during his time in Skyrim, so he is a little more knowledgeable than normal. Does this mean he would have figured out the 'enchantment glitch' in real life Skyrim? I mean, he is smart enough to realize that it goes up in percentage with the more powerful of soul shards, and he would obviously use everything at his disposal. But he is no tea drinking spiff of a brit, so there is a hard limit to how strong he could enchant the items before the items just broke.

- Technically, Izuku is 20 years old while everyone else in Class 1-A is 19 or just turning it. This is because of how time works on Nirn, so it is a little faster, hence why Izuku feels like it's been 16 years since he was able to come back, but on Earth it was only 15.

- Despite his training with the Graybeards and his natural affinity with being the Dovahkiin, Izuku still needs on average about five seconds before using shouts.

With that being said, onward with the next chapter!

Reviews:

Ryuujin96: Glad you enjoyed it and hope you enjoy this one!

pfcvillanueva: The dusted students identity is revealed with this chapter, and before you or anyone else goes "Why were they there?", they were originally going to be in 1-A according to original design plans from the creator, but got shifted to 1-B. Plus with a vacant spot left by a then-currently missing Izuku, I just pushed them into 1-A to be the sacrifice :D

Equinoxhun: Here ya go!

Digitalreaper360: WOOOOO!

LoamyCoffee: Oh he will, as well as bring a certain heiress along for the ride ;o

Ryustin: Hahaha... yeah... just imagine Izuku walking up towards AFO like that one Real-life commercial for Skyrim from when it first came out!

Ellagueado: Thank you!

Dova: He still mutters, but not as bad anymore, and while he still loves heroes, he will have matured enough to keep it in check for the most part.

TheDemonofChaos: Vacation was trash, but thanks anyway :D And enjoy the latest chapter!

SonicMax: AS IF I would kill one of the best girls! And yes, I fully understand that Tsu or Mineta should have been there, I took creative approach to adjust where everyone got teleported to, but don't worry, the froggy queen will show up soon :D.

Xerzo: Please see above :)

Chapter 2

Once more, from the top

"What a disaster…" Toshinori Yagi lamented as he hung his head with his bone-thin fingers cradling his face as he was sitting in the dean's office, with the white-furred being sitting behind his desk and sipping some tea and a currently bandaged-up Aizawa lying on a couch with his arm still in a sling and a wrap around his head, "I should have been there!"

"Yes, you should have." Aizawa grunted from where he was, lifting his head to stare hard at the number one hero with a squint of his eyes and furrow of his eyebrows, "And because you weren't, one of my students is dead."

"Aizawa," Nezu spoke up with a heavy tone to his voice, silencing the homeroom teacher, who huffed and continued to rest on the coach. The dean placed his cup and saucer onto his desk, looking at Toshinori, "While we cannot know if things would have been different if you were there, Aizawa does have a point. We have an incident where we were caught with our pants down, and now a student has died because of it."

"I already took the liberty of contacting Mr. Shoda's parents, doing my best to make sure they don't take legal action against the school." The dean, with a heavy sigh and rubbing the bridge of his nose, "I have already authorized a two-week closure of the university, not only to allow for a grieving period for the students but also so we can improve our security measures to either limit or perhaps stop anyone from just teleporting in."

"Will Maijima be able to pull that off?" Aizawa asked, his free hand moving his scarf from his lips since it had bunched up when he laid back down.

"He is hopeful, at the very least, so I have my confidence he will pull through."

Aizawa simply nodded, reaching down into his pocket to pull out a jelly pack and tore into it with his teeth, drinking the contents slowly, while Toshinori soon looked up to the dean, "Um… sir… what about the other person that came through a portal? The one that defended young Yaoyorozu?"

"Ah, yes, the young man who looks like a Viking warrior out of time?" Nezu was amused while moving a paw towards the monitor on his desk and spun it around to show the young man in a secluded room with a particular detective Toshinori knew sitting across from him as well as a smaller image of four armed guards standing outside of the room, "Currently, Detective Tsukauchi is questioning him, and we can hope to find out where exactly he came from."

"Do you think he was a part of the group that attacked the USJ?" Toshinori asked, considering by the time he had arrived at the offsite building, Aizawa had already wrapped the boy in his scarf, which was amazing considering the man was down an arm, before telling the number one hero to go around and save the rest of the class.

"From what Yaoyorozu had explained, he had dispatched the Nomu and healed both her and me before surrendering." Aizawa huffed as he stared up at the ceiling, "Sadly, I didn't have any handcuffs on me, so my scarf was the best option. As to your question, he could be a ruse set up by them, considering he had apparently also come out of a portal himself, albeit golden in color, unlike what the mist villain had used." The ever-tired homeroom teacher turned his head slightly to look towards the other two men in the room, "I'll be honest, I don't think he is… given his actions, let alone it seems that the 'leader' of the group that attacked us didn't recognize him either from what my student told the police."

"That, and he is a bit of an enigma as well." Nezu spoke up as he looked towards another monitor on his desk before turning it around to show the two other heroes in the room, "I was able to get his name from Mr. Bakugou, who apparently knew our mysterious guest prior to all of this when he was very young, and after putting it into the hero network for any cases involving his name… well…"

Toshinori squinted as he was reading the file, seeing the various newspaper articles on the screen, which made the number one hero suddenly stand up, "I-I don't believe it!"

"What is it?" Aizawa gruffly said, slowly sitting up to try and look at the monitor.

"I remember this case; I and a few others of the top ten back then were brought on board when the local heroes and police couldn't find any clues; even Endeavor was asked to join in the search due to how bizarre the case was." Toshinori bit his lower lip as the memories of the outright and justifiably upset mother of the pleaded for him to find her son flooded his mind, "No trace of the boy was ever found, not even DNA samples or pieces of clothing… anything really that pointed us in any direction or any suspects. That and the last person to see the boy was just as old as he was and wasn't the best eye witness at the time."

"Bakugou?" Aizawa asked after a slight pause.

"Indeed." Toshinori said with a huff, crossing his arms, "It was almost like someone had just… erased the boy from the world; not even Mirai could locate him with his future sight quirk, which was baffling, to say the least. We had to give up the search about a couple months in, though from what I understand, Ms. Midoriya didn't give up."

"I doubt any parent would stop looking for their child if they went missing, not just for the possibility of finding them, but at least to get some closure." Aizawa said as he moved closer to see more of the articles, "Hmm? Nezu, there is an article dated two years ago in the tabs…"

"Ah, yes, I was about to bring that to your attention, and we will need to take precautions should the young man learn of this…" The dean said cryptically, opening the tab to reveal it to his two employees. When they both read what was right before them, Aizawa was quiet, looking a little mournful as Toshinori was slack-jawed and shaking his head solemnly.

"Oh no…"

"To make sure I have what you said for the record…" Detective Tsukauchi said with a bewildered look on his face as he was looking down at his notes, "You were taken by someone named 'Akatosh' to a new world when you were four years old, trained to fight dragons and other monsters and 'evils' of the lands as some sort of chosen one called a 'Dragonborn', and when you were able to complete those tasks, you were able to conjure up a portal back to our world using something called an 'Elder Scroll'?"

"That's correct, yes." The green-haired young man said from across the table, tapping his fingers together and chuckling weakly, "I can understand how far-fetched it sounds, but it is the truth."

"I don't doubt it, despite how fantastical it sounds." The older man sighed gently, making Izuku tilt his head in confusion as the detective was jotting down some more notes, "Can you explain to me why you killed the villain then?"

"You mean the Draugr?"

"Yes, though. Can you explain what that means exactly? I am unfamiliar with the term."

"A-ah, right, of course." Izuku chuckled slightly once again, sighing to himself and then just looking at his hands. "Draugr in Skyrim were Nords that were long dead but then reanimated by magic."

The scribbling of the officer stopped, his gaze looking towards the 'Dragonborn' curiously, "You mean to say there were zombies?"

"You could call them a form of zombie, I suppose." Izuku said as he leaned back in his chair, rubbing his chin, "However, they could actually think, even wield magic and weaponry as well as they did when they were alive." The way that the green-haired young man just bluntly talked about the subject like it was an everyday occurrence truly stumped the detective, even more so since Tsukauchi had been using his quirk nonstop since the young man before him started to answer his questions.

Either this kid was fooling his quirk somehow, or every sentence he was speaking was true, and Detective Tsukauchi wasn't sure which he was terrified more of.

"Back to your original question," Izuku continued, looking down at his hands once more, which were resting on the table, "I could tell it was a reanimated corpse… or an amalgamation of one, given its brain was literally out of its skull unless quirk mutations have changed so much since I have been away."

"And from what we got from another testimony, you could tell it was a corpse by the smell?"

Izuku shifted in his seat, sighing softly, "Well… a-and I can explain… but delving into the barrows where the Draugr were, you kinda… learn what the smell of rotting flesh is." He then chuckled nervously, especially given the raised eyebrow from the detective.

"And what are these "barrows"?"

"They… were former temples used by a Dragon worshiping cult turned into tombs for their top priests or followers with their subordinates also buried with them for an eternity." Izuku nervously chuckled as he was getting a deadpanned look from the man on the opposite end of the table.

"So, a tomb then?"

"Y-Yes, I know how it sounds, but they were long since abandoned and mostly were explored to find forgotten lore or to make sure the Draugr didn't rise and escape the barrows… That or to go and clear them of bandits that would use them as camps."

"Judging by your tone of voice, the bandits were dealt with similarly to what you did with the Nomu, am I correct?" Tsukauchi watched how the young man was shifting around in his seat, clearly noticing how Midoriya was trying to think up a possible excuse for what Tsukauchi already knew the answer to his question.

The knocking on the door caught both Izuku's and Tsukauchi's attention as the ever-tired-looking Aizawa came into the room with his free hand in his pocket, "I just came to let you know that the rat wishes to keep Midoriya on campus until his next of kin can be located."

"R-Really?" Izuku's eyes went wide with surprise, and the homeroom teacher just lazily looked at him while the Detective rose from his seat.

"I respectfully disagree with this decision. While Midoriya here has been cooperative and forthcoming with his answers to my questions, as bizarre as they are, he is still considered a very dangerous person."

"The decision came from Nezu as a thank you for saving not only Momo Yaoyorozu but also healing her and myself… All Might has also endorsed this as well." Aizawa turned his attention towards Tsukauchi with a look that told the detective that even he wasn't thrilled with the idea. Turning back towards the fur-clad young man, Aizawa continued to speak, "You will be placed in one of the spare rooms over in the Heights Alliance dorms, as we don't have any real space at the teacher's housing for you. You are permitted to leave the room only by being accompanied by one of the teachers or security bots. For safety concerns, that trunk you have is currently in the dean's office for safekeeping, as it is one of the most secure places on campus."

"You are to be unarmed at all times, and should you cause any sort of issue, you will be arrested and taken in by the police. Am I clear?"

"Yes, sir," Izuku replied with a gentle bow of his head for good measure, while he wasn't too happy about the fact that his chest was being kept away from him, considering how many of his armors and weapons were in the thing, it didn't surprise him. However, it is not like Izuku needed them if something were to happen, and he needed to defend himself.

The clearing of the detective's throat rang out in the small room, "That weapon you used to… subdue… the Nomu is going to be confiscated as well for evidence. And it's more than likely not going to be returned to you."

"I… had a feeling that would happen, and I understand." Izuku smiled at Tsukauchi, "I would strongly suggest not picking it up by the hilt, as that is what activates its fire enchantment."

"... Right… Well, I will make my report on this and tell Nezu I'll send over a copy once I'm done." Tsukauchi sighed heavily, putting on his fedora, and moved to leave the room. He stopped at the door and looked back towards the mysterious young man. "Try and keep out of trouble, kid."

"I shall do my best, granted even Master Borri said I was a trouble magnet-" Izuku chuckled softly, before quickly shutting up from the hard stares of the two other men in the room, "... I shouldn't have said that."

"Have fun, Aizawa." was all that Tsukauchi said, patting Aizawa's shoulder before the detective made his way out and left the pair behind. Knowing that a headache was coming, Aizawa sighed heavily.

"You'll be given a change of clothes for tomorrow, and before you see the dean, it's nighttime already, so I should be able to get you to your room without disturbing the students."

"O-oh, that's good… um, Mr. Aizawa, I hate to ask a favor, but could we stop by the dean's office? I need something from my chest- Not a weapon or anything like that!" Izuku suddenly exclaimed when the teacher/hero glared at him with his eyes turning bright red, "I felt a chill in the air when I was being escorted over to this room, and was hoping I could grab one of my bed coverings… is… all…" Izuku rubbed the back of his head, nervously smiling as Aizawa looked at him with a deadpan stare once more before turning on his heel and leading the odd young adult out of the room.

For whatever reason, as he was walking down the corridor towards the dean's office with the 'misplaced' Midoriya following behind him, Aizawa had a feeling that this wouldn't be the last time the green-haired warrior was going to give him a migraine.

Momo was staring up at her ceiling as she lay in her large bed, the memories of the past twenty-four hours constantly replaying in her head over and over again, the vision of one of her classmates disintegrating before her very eyes, the shock of watching such a fate that could have easily been hers as well.

Throughout the day, Momo hadn't been able to keep anything down, not even water, and she was currently paying for it now with her stomach violently growling every so often and aching for sustenance. She sighed heavily, throwing off her thick bed covers from her body, and walked towards her elegant bureau, reaching into one of its drawers and pulling out a small nutrition bar.

Momo unwrapped the item from its packaging and took a quick bite out of it. It was bland and tasteless, which wasn't a shock for the heiress as it had been designed for emergencies out on the field should she need to create something on the fly; this and the few other bars in the drawer she had procured from her hero costume case should he have needed a 'boost' to her energy while she was studying. Finishing the small article of food, Momo tossed the wrapper into her dustbin beside her desk and then finally took a look into the mirror of her bureau and sighed gently.

She ran her right hand down the front of her red silken nightgown, admiring herself as she often did with all the work she had put in to get into UA in the first place. Of course, because of the vast amount of food she would need to consume daily, thanks to her quirk's needs, Momo was required to work that much harder to balance her physical training with her calorie intake. But it was worth it. Standing there in her room, she couldn't help but feel a surge of pride for how far she had come.

But then her thoughts turned back to how she failed to save Nirengeki Shoda from his death, and yes, while she was still just a student, trying to become a hero and no one could blame her for not knowing what to do in that sort of situation because of her lack of experience. The part she hated the most was how she just froze up and couldn't create anything to save her classmate or herself possibly.

The only reason she was alive right now was because of some divine intervention by that mysterious man from the golden portal. And if that wasn't enough, he not only killed the Nomu creature or whatever it was, with hardly any issue when even Aizawa was having difficulty with it, but then he somehow healed her injuries as well as the grumpy teacher, even though it was only enough where his life wasn't in danger somehow, it probably didn't help that he had to push Aizawa's broken arm back into place before healing it, which gave off a rather sickening sound that made Momo almost gag once again from recounting the memory.

The somewhat loud thuds of heavy footsteps brought Momo out of her thoughts, blinking towards her door and slowly making her way to it. It was odd for anyone else to be up at this hour, which she checked to see that it was well past the eleven p.m. curfew, and Mina tended to be a quick sleeper from what the pink-skinned woman had said to her and the rest of the women in 1-A.

Quickly creating a small listening device, Momo placed it against her door while listening in, and as she did so, her eyes widened to hear the voices from the other side.

"I'll tell you this once more: You are not to leave this room until a few of the robots or a teacher like myself come to escort you out," Aizawa said as he opened the door to one of the spare dorm rooms on the men's side. The tired-looking teacher watched as the warrior walked into the room, lugging what looked like a heavy fur blanket and a leather satchel hanging from his back. Given the size, Aizawa had made sure Midoriya didn't sneak in any sort of weapon or something else that could harm his students; even if the young adult had healed him back the USJ, he was still not taking any chances.

He had failed and lost one student already, and so long as he was breathing, there would be no more on his watch.

Placing the large bundle of furs and bag onto the bed, Izuku swiftly turned and bowed towards the homeroom teacher of 1-A, "Thank you for your hospitality, and rest assured I will not leave this room until you call upon me tomorrow." The boy rose and gave the other man a bright smile, "And not to be a bother, but I would recommend you also get a good night's rest, sir. It would allow the restoration magic I used earlier today to heal you properly."

Aizawa raised his eyebrow at this information but then quickly brought up his hand to stop the boy from trying to explain and just took his word for it, "I'll be here around six a.m. tomorrow, so be sure to be up and in the spare gym clothes we provided for you."

"Yes, Mr. Aizawa, thank you, and have a pleasant night," Izuku said once again with a gentle bow while the teacher closed the door behind him. Once he knew that Aizawa was gone, the green-haired dragonborn sighed as he now had finally time to relax and decompress from the rather hectic day he had. Truth be told, Izuku had no idea where the portal back to Japan would have taken him. He had hoped it would have been someplace remote or maybe even the area where Akatosh had initially taken him. Granted, it was a portal created by an Elder Scroll, and they had their own sort of mind to them, so he had a feeling it could be anywhere random, but just so long as it was Japan, he didn't really care.

Slowly unstrapping and removing his upper body armor and placing it onto the chair by the bare desk, slowly stretching and cracking his back, flexing his muscular body as he sighed heavily, stretching his neck back and forth as he then removed the leather and fur bracers from his arms and looking towards the bed, "Guess I should get some-"

A knock at his door interrupted Izuku, turning his gaze towards the door, thinking that it was possibly Aizawa again, "One second-" Only to open the door and come face to face with the same onyx eyes of the young woman he saved, looking up at him, her hair down and wearing a rather plain looking robe covering what was possibly a red nightgown underneath with both their gazes locked onto one another.

They hadn't realized it then, but from this moment, as if orchestrated by some nigh-omnipotent being, the fate and destiny of the Dovahkiin and heiress would be forever linked.
