"What the hell is that?" Baron asked.
"Is it another animal?" Bayley asked.
"The most dangerous one on the planet," Phyllis answered. "We need to hide."
The sound got more clear and Seth furrowed his brows.
"Cars?" Seth asked.
"It sounds like it," Baron said.
"You said it was the most dangerous animal on the planet," Carmella said.
"Humans are the most dangerous ones," Phyllis said. "Think about it, guys. Someone put us in that cabin. The people driving towards us are most likely the ones behind it and I don't think they're here for a friendly talk. You can stay out here and test that theory but I'm hiding."
Phyllis started running towards some thick bushes. Everyone followed her within a second. They all crawled into the bushes and watched as two cars came driving with two men in each car. Both cars had one man behind the wheel and one man standing up with a gun in their hands scouting for the eleven people that had broken the rules and left the cabin.
"These are our consequences for breaking the rules," Carmella whispered.
"Ssh!" Phyllis shushed Carmella. "Be quiet."
The cars continued forward and soon they couldn't hear them anymore.
"They're not gonna stop searching for us," Kevin said.
"Who are those people?" Andrade asked.
"Your guess is as good as mine," Phyllis said.
"What do we do now?" Seth asked.
"There's a creek over there," Liv said.
Phyllis turned around and crawled out of the bushes on the other side than she had entered. Liv was already out there and pointing towards a creek further away.
"You have the best eyes out here," Phyllis grinned. "I love that about you, Liv."
"A creek is good, right?" Liv asked.
"It's the best. If we follow the stream, we should get to civilization at some point," Phyllis said.
"I thought you told us to swim against the tide," Braun joked.
"We already did. Now we're gonna take a more easy ride and go with the flow. The creek has to end somewhere and we'll find out where that is," Phyllis said.
Everyone made their way out of the bushes and they ran towards the creek. They made it there and looked at the clear water.
"It's beautiful," Charlotte said.
"And it will hopefully lead us home somehow," Phyllis said.
"I trust you," Kevin said.
Phyllis looked over at Kevin who smiled back at her.
"Braun here was right about us trusting you. You've been right so far. I'm so fucking tired of this place. I just wanna go home and I trust you'll get me there," Kevin said.
"Lead us home," Baron said.
Braun took Phyllis' hand and gave it a squeeze.
"Get us safely home and I'll take you out for all you can eat pizza," Braun said.
"Who am I to turn down pizza?" Phyllis grinned. "Alright, guys, let's follow the stream and see where it leads us."
