On a random night in Royal Woods, Mike and Josh were charging with Oime as Emma gasped. Alem tuber dodged punches as he kicked Oime.
Mike grabbed Emma, but Angry Luigi punches him, then Josh kicked Angry Luigi
Alem tuber punched Mike and Josh.
"Okay, that was easy. We're done for the night. Honestly, I think we're out of bad guys." Alem tuber says.
On the 13th, The Foxes had their final concert for this tour before cheer camp. Emma wasn't there.
Shane and Luke's final concert for their tour wasn't until the 15th. So they were just relaxing.
"3 more days!" Luke tells Shane. "It's time to get excited!"
Shane smiled a bit.
"A beach party and a video shoot on Isle Delfino! It's going to be fun!" Luke says. Shane then grinned.
"Oh, yeah! My Ocean Drive video shoot!" Shane says, excited. "I nearly forgot about that!"
At this, Remy thinks. Should he go to Shane's half birthday in a world that would treat Angry Luigi better than Luke? The thought made him sick. But he'd go just to be there for Shane.
Shane saw this and wondered if he should relocate.
"Look, just because our world is more familiar with the Cosmic Buddies doesn't mean the citizens will hate you." Penny says, attempting to calm him down.
"I think they will…" Shane sniffed.
"Come on, you always wanted a beachy half-birthday, Shane. Plus, if the citizens were to hate you, how come I'm dating you? I was more familiar with the Cosmic Buddies before coming to your world. Plus, Mario is friendly with everyone, so don't worry. I'll do my best to give you a good half-birthday." Penny says, brushing Shane's tears off of his face with her hands. Shane manages a small smile.
"What we need is to make the Mushroom Kingdom love us more than those cosmic buddies or else they're going to steal Shane's spotlight." Luke says.
"So basically you want me to steal someone else's spotlight that they've worked years to earn?" Shane asked. "I can't do that. I just can't."
"Then I will give you a half-birthday performance. Just like you did for me." Luke says.
Soon Oliver and his siblings were getting an interview.
"So, what's it like, knowing you 5 will be a full team from now on?" The interviewer asked. Oliver answered that first.
"Amazing! We're never going against each other again." Oliver says.
"Okay, so what was this tour like?" The interviewer asked.
"Incredible!" All five Foxes say.
Later, Luke got ready to watch their performance. Penny was sitting with Shane as they also prepared to watch.
Their show started with their rendition of Popular Song by MIKA ft. Ariana Grande.
Fans cheered for them. They then performed Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Girls went nuts for them, especially Oliver and Griffin.
Soon they finished their show as the crowd screamed for the Foxes. They start signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
After the show, Shane laid in bed as they were packed for the trip. He thinks nobody there will like him. He then had a nightmare.
He woke up at 2:00 a.m., sobbing like an infant. Luna ran to Shane's side and held him.
"Shane, honey, what happened?" Sharon asked, coming into his room.
He sobbed as he told Sharon everything.
Luna felt bad for him.
"What's wrong with him?" Luan asked. She explained that he was worried that no one would like him at the beach they were going to.
Shane wouldn't wake up the next day. Everyone was worried.
"I'll make them respect Shane. Be right back." Luke says and teleported.
Meanwhile, Toads were guarding the castle when Mario leaped in.
"Ah, Master Mario, late as usual, it seems." Toadsworth says.
"Oh, yeah!" Mario says and goes to the back with Luigi to see The Cosmic Buddies, Peach, and Daisy.
"Are you guys ready to go to Isle Delfino?" Daisy asked
"Yeah, some time away from my step-siblings is needed so they can get their space." Emma says.
"As long as I don't get near water, I'm okay." Delta says as Jason smiles with Melody.
Luigi glared at Mario since Mario didn't invite him last time
"Okay, let's go." Bill says.
Soon they arrived to see Luke commanding the citizens to get stuff ready for Shane's half-birthday.
"Hello!" Mario says as one of the citizens smiled.
"Hey, guys! It's Mario!" One of them says as they all start cheering as Luke hissed and teleported away before anyone could speak to him.
Shane cried. "If nobody likes me, then why am I going with you, Penny?" Shane sniffed as he looked at her. "Tell me!"
"Because I love you." Penny says. "I want you to be happy, and you deserve to have the happiest half-birthday imaginable."
Shane sniffed and smiled a little.
"It seems Luke was trying to decorate for Shane. Let's finish what he started." Peach says as they all get gifts for Shane.
"He's going to have the best half-birthday ever!" Daisy says.
"Unless Bowser ruins it." Emila says, arms crossed
"Mario, could you be a dear and check on Bowser?" Peach asked.
Bill glared at Emila.
"Now we gotta fight Bowser for Shane to have his day." Bill says.
Angry Luigi sighed and went off.
Meanwhile, Luke was rehearsing. He wanted to make sure the songs he picked for Shane were perfect. Especially the one that Shane sang for him.
The siblings go to get gifts for Shane.
Shane sat in Penny's room, staring up at the ceiling.
"Oh, welcome to my house. I forgot that you never came here before." Penny says.
Shane quietly sings Penny's song as he sheds tears. She holds him.
"I love you, Shane. I love it when you sing my song and when we cuddle." Penny says as Shane sings the song a little louder before he sighed. He had his final concert on his summer tour tomorrow.
"I'm sure your half-birthday will be good." Penny says, stroking Shane's dark curls.
The next day, Shane tears up as he is still laying in bed. Lucy came in, giving him pre-half-birthday pancakes.
"Luke said I should bring these to you. It's his tradition that I make him pre-event pancakes." Lucy says. Shane didn't know what to say.
"Besides, I'm thinking of giving him my birthday. I don't deserve it. Especially since I'm a sibling killer…" Lucy sniffed.
Shane eats in silence, thinking of his concert tonight.
Lucy leaves. "Maybe they'd be safe if I left"
"Would you stop talking about her?!" Luke says.
"I'm sorry, okay?!" Lucy says and runs away from the house.
Meanwhile, Bowser was watching his troops train as Mario leaped in with Angry Luigi, Luigi, and Emma as Emila teleported and grabbed Kamek's wand, breaking it.
"We're being invaded!" Morton says as Jason punches him. Delta spin dashed Roy.
"Okay, Bowser, tomorrow you won't be heading to Isle Delfino, got it?!" Bill says.
"Grrrrr! How dare you attack my kids!" Bowser says, punching Bill, knocking him out.
"Uh-oh, I think we made him mad." Savannah says.
"Oh, gee, ya think?!" Bowser says, fuming. "If I can't have a normal time, then neither will you, since you made the mistake of leaving Peach alone, have a nice trip!" Bowser says as the floor opened as the cosmic buddies fall in, screaming.
"See you next fall!" Bowser says and gets in his koopa clown and flies off as Mario looks up and decided to wait.
"Mario?" Luigi asked
"Wait, Dad!" Jr. says, realizing kidnapping Peach was a bad idea.
Bowser arrived.
"Princess Peach, I'm he-" Bowser says as Daisy slapped him hard enough to send him back to his own castle. Peach's jaw dropped.
Bowser landed as Mario grabbed his tail and swung him around.
"So long King-a Bowser!" Mario says, tossing him away.
Luigi looked down as the Mario Bros. realized the Cosmic buddies were trapped in a pit.
"I can teleport." Emila says as Mario sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, Luke and Shane were getting interviewed. Shane looked distant.
"Is something wrong with Shane?" The interviewer asked.
"He's mad because he knows his siblings will forget. It's a thing in my family. My siblings always forgot mine, which was basically neglect." Luke says.
"Your siblings neglected you?!" The interviewer asked.
"Yeah, they never wanted to be around on my birthday. Some called me bad luck in the past" Luke sniffed. "Lola even made me eat cereal outside during that time. Lana boarded up my room. I had to sleep in the doghouse, then on the front porch."
Lucy was watching this.
One nice day in May, Luke was relaxing in his room when Lynn barged in.
"Hey, Luke, I need you to attend my game." Lynn says.
Luke looks at Lynn. "Why should I?" Luke asks her.
"You've skipped most of them and this is the semifinal game before the state finals." Lynn says.
"No!" Luke says as Lynn raises her baseball bat.
"You better come this time!" Lynn says. "Or I will hurt you with my bat!"
"Fine, I will!" Luke says.
After the game, Lynn screamed as she lost.
"This is your fault, Luke! You're bad luck!" Lynn says.
"My fault?! What did I do?!" Luke asked.
"I was on a big winning streak! But, on the day you finally come to a game, I end up losing!" Lynn says. "Unlucky Luke!"
"I hope this doesn't go too far…" Luke says.
A few nights later, Luke was forced to sleep outside.
"Hey! What gives?!" Luke screams.
"You're bad luck!" Lola says.
"Wait!" Lucy says, but no one other than Luna listens.
Lola slammed the door on Luke.
It started to rain outside.
Luke begins to sob. "Let Luke in…" Luke says.
As soon as everyone is asleep, Luke is let in by Lucy. Lucy leads Luke to the attic and puts him to bed, using an air mattress. Luke soon falls asleep.
Lucy sighed.
The next morning, Lucy wakes up to see Lola dragging Luke downstairs.
"Let him go!" Luna says as Lola tossed Luke out of the house.
"Why did you do that?!" Luna asked.
"He's bad luck!" Lola says and slammed the door on Luke's hand. Luke screamed and sobbed before freeing his hand.
Luke begins to cry outside.
"Luke wants to be inside!" Luke sobbed.
"Why don't we sell Luke's stuff? It will prevent anyone else from getting bad luck." Lynn says.
"Good thinking." Lola says.
But before they could lay a hand on any of Luke's things, Luna grabs Lola and Lynn by their ears and drags them back downstairs. When Lucy heard what they were planning to do, she was livid.
"How could you two do this to him? I'm calling the police!" Lucy says.
"Don't you dare! This is his fault! For being bad luck!" Lynn says. "Besides, I'm stronger than you!"
Luna stands above Lynn and grabs her by the back of her jersey.
"Luna, get out of the way!" Lynn says.
"No. I don't think I will. And if you so much as TOUCH anything in Luke's room. I will SELL every piece of sports equipment you own! Am I clear?!" Luna says, still holding Lynn by her jersey.
"Fine…" Lynn says.
"I think we should tell mom." Lucy says.
(A/N: Rita sides with Luna and Lucy on this.)
"No." Lola said and tackled Lucy to the ground. Luna also grabs Lola.
"SAME GOES FOR YOU, PRINCESS! YOU TOUCH LUKE'S THINGS, I WILL MAKE MOM TELL YOU TO BUNK WITH LANA IN HER BED AND YOUR PRECIOUS PRINCESS BED WILL BE TAKEN TO THE CITY DUMP, WHERE YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!" Luna screams at Lola.
"Fine." Lola says as Lucy gets up.
Later, Luna was waiting for Rita to come home from her trip as Lucy went into her room.
"Hey, Luna?" Lucy asked.
"What is it, Luce-Change?" Luna asked.
Lucy blushed. "Can I sleep with you tonight?" Lucy asked.
Luna nods. "At this point, I'm this close to kicking Luan out of my room. She keeps wanting to touch all of Luke's things, and frankly, I just can't wait to start sabotaging her birthday gigs…"
"I'm scared of Lynn and the rest of the family at this point." Lucy says as her body shook as Luna noticed tears slowly falling. "I'm scared…I'm not supposed to be b-but…" Lucy says as her body shook hard as she was having a panic attack.
"Lucy, it's okay." Luna says and holds her. "I'm worried about Luke, too."
Luke was still sobbing and sniffling as lights shone on him. Rita came out of a taxi.
"Luke! What are you doing outside?" Rita asked, worried and upset.
"They threw Luke out…" Luke sobs.
"WHAT?!" Rita asks as she hears crashing from inside.
She runs inside to hear screaming as she notices the siblings assaulting Luna and Lucy. Leni and Lincoln try to stop them.
"KIDS!" Rita shouted.
The fighting stops as Rita looks around. "What is going on here?" she asks.
"We kicked the bad luck out. We were going to get rid of his stuff to prevent a spread, but Luna and Lucy got in the way." Lynn says.
Lucy sniffed as she finally told Shiloh and Shelby the story before sobbing.
Sharon looked disappointed. Shelby and Shiloh were in shock.
"All that happened to him?!" Lance asked, bewildered. The Louds except Luna and Lucy look ashamed.
"I must confess, that was not my brightest moment." Lisa says.
"This all caused Lucy to…you know. Ever since then, the whole luck thing has taken a toll on her." Luna says. "But Luke suffered a lot more than we ever realized."
Lynn was walking around, thinking about where Lucy could be.
She approaches the gates to Huntington Manor. She notices the house itself is illuminated with purple floodlights.
Lynn snuck inside using a ninja disguise and snuck into Lucy's room as Lucy was writing poems.
"Lucy!" Lynn said and hugged her.
"What are you doing here, Lynn?" Lucy asked nervously.
"To take you back, come on." Lynn says and took her hand a bit roughly.
"Lynn, no." Lucy says.
"Come on, Luce, let's bail already. We don't need you getting bad luck." Lynn says as that seemed to cause Lucy to snap.
"Also, what's with the glasses?" Lynn asked as Lucy tried to free herself from Lynn's hold and kicked Lynn.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Lucy says.
"Awesome, you got tougher, too…" Lynn says.
Lucy was shaking as her heartbeat rose. She was trying to breathe, but couldn't as she huffed and puffed. Her vision was blurry as she struggled to stand.
Luke calls the authorities as he takes care of Lucy. Lynn took out a bat and whacked Luke's leg with it, causing Luke to scream in pain and drop Lucy. "This is your fault!" Lynn shouted at Luke.
Sutton Sharp soon enters the house and restrains Lynn while Tristan Pingrey takes the bat as evidence.
"Let's go, punk!" Sutton says as he takes Lynn out in handcuffs and other restraints.
"Let me go!" Lynn shouts.
"We'll let you go, all right. In jail!" Tristan says as Sutton loads Lynn in the squad car. They drive off with Lynn in tow.
Luna is now sobbing against Sam.
"S-Sam, sh-she h-h-hurt L-Luke a-again…." Luna cries, shaking.
Sam rubbed her hair. "It's okay, Lunes. Luke is strong. He'll make it through." Sam says as the ambulance comes.
The doctors come in and check Luke's injuries. His left leg was in a lot of pain.
Luna looked down, remembering that, then remembered his half-birthday.
Luke was running, carefree and happy. Luna smiles at him.
"I love the beach!" Luke says as Luna remembered something.
"Lucy, stand still..." Luna says as Lucy stood still as Luna removed Lucy's glasses, took out some special sunscreen, and began to apply it on Lucy before finishing as she gives Lucy's glasses back and smiled.
"All set!" Luna says. She notices Luke is gone as she starts to panic. She asks Charity to watch Lucy before going off to find Luke, looking all over the beach.
Meanwhile, Lola and Lana are seen forcing Luke into the mascot suit from the baseball field. Luke is screaming and crying as they're trying to make him wear it.
As soon as they put it on him, they take him to their side of the beach. Unknown to them, Luna was recording the whole thing.
Luke is sobbing in the suit.
"Lola! Lana! No!" Leni says as she pushes them aside and takes it off Luke.
"Leni, what gives?!" Lola says, angry.
Leni held Luke.
"He doesn't like it!" Leni says as Lisa goes to Luke patting him while holding Lily.
"You two are in a lot of trouble!" Rita shouted at the twins. Leni and Lincoln took Luke out of the suit as he sobbed and screamed. A lot of people watched this.
"They're hurting him…" A kid says.
"Can you stop, please?" Ana asked, sniffling as she was starting to cry.
Soon, Luke and Shane's interview ended as Shane stopped looking distant. He then walked away.
Luke leaves to be alone for now.
Soon, it was finally time as it was 7 o'clock. Concert time.
Shane sat in his dressing room, flipping through his past half-birthday pictures. From his 9th up to last year.
"None were perfect." Shane says. "Shiloh did a cannonball into the cake last year and ruined my 70's-themed polyester suit…it took weeks for the cleaners to get all the icing out of it…"
Shiloh was watching a video of Emma trying to be a cheerleader as he blushed.
"Shiloh, listen, you can't do a cannonball at Shane's party. If you do, no video games or TV for the rest of the summer." Lance says. "Remember what happened last year on Shane's half birthday?"
He looked down in shame.
Soon Luke took the stage and performed.
Shane watched as he remembered what Shelby did when he turned 14 and a half at his 1950's-themed party. Shelby opened his gifts at that party. Every last one of them. Shane's expression turned angry when he thought of this.
With Luke, he wanted to make Shane feel better. He knows Shane feels angry and nervous.
Luke soon finished as he went to find Shane. He saw Shane yelling at a picture of his siblings.
The concert had to be delayed for a bit as Shane wasn't ready yet.
Luke goes to be alone as Lucy finds him.
"Sorry I let Lynn do this to you." Lucy says knowing Luke was more hurt than Shane right now. To be fair, they were both hurt.
"I may be hurt, but I'll be there for you." Lucy says, not speaking with emotion.
Luna found Shane as he finally broke down.
"His family never loved him." Luke says. "Just like you all never loved me. I still hate you sometimes."
Lucy frowned. "Luke, I'm sorry your half-birthday wasn't perfect. I swear I'll make it up to you." Lucy says.
"Let's just focus on Shane now." Luke finally said.
Soon Shane finally had the courage to go on stage and perform. The crowd could tell he was being abused emotionally. But it didn't show as Shane sang with passion.
He soon finished as people cheered for him.
"Well done, we set everything up!" Peach says as Mario smiled.
"This has to be perfect or Luke will probably kill us." Angry Luigi says, assuming the worst.
"We got this. I'll bake Shane's cake." Peach says.
"Peach's cakes suck." Emila says
"Fine, Savannah can bake." Peach says, but would secretly bake a backup cake.
"Oh, Angry Luigi, you need to make sure there are zero mistakes. I mean Shane lives with the mayor, so you could be executed by Charity." Emila says, wanting to scare him as Luigi runs off.
"Mama-mia…" Mario says, actually stressed
"Oh, Mario, this will be your biggest challenge yet. I mean Charity could sue the Mushroom Kingdom." Emila says. At this point she was just scaring her friends as it worked.
Luigi was gone and Mario was unsure how to save tomorrow from failing as he never really had to give a grand party before.
"Luigi!" Mario says.
"Oh, no!" Luigi says and runs to the nearest boat to leave, but it was leaving as Luigi cried.
"You all are being babies, it's just a party. What's the worst that can happen?" Daisy asked
"Luke has killed Lynn and Lucy in the past." Emila says
Daisy sweated. "We are screwed…" she says.
"And I'm out, I need to work on magic stuff." Emila says, leaving.
It's life or death if our heroes don't succeed.
