The next morning, Shane woke up and saw the family had headed to breakfast without him.
"Ugh, what a start to the second day of my birthweek…" Shane says as he got dressed and decided he'd just take himself there instead. He did have his own car, after all.
He then arrived at Papa Bear's Pancake Cabin, looking for his family. When he couldn't find them, he sat at a table alone, his head in his hands.
His family popped out. "Surprise!" They say. Shane smiled as he was surprised.
"Awww, you guys…" Shane sniffed. "I almost thought that you did forget about me…"
"We would never forget you, Shane!" Shelby says.
Shane orders his breakfast. He then looks down. He saw the news about the karaoke place that he was supposed to go to for the party tonight.
"Oh, they're closed for some stupid private function for some kind of important person!" Shane felt hurt as he thrust his phone into Luke's hands before stomping off to the bathroom.
Lincoln and Clyde go to the karaoke place to see why. They see the decorations weren't for Shane. They see pictures of Garrett and Melony. Apparently it was a victory celebration for them. This was going to shatter Shane. They come and tell everyone that wasn't Luke and Shane what was really going on.
"What selfishness!" Sam says.
"Literally!" Lori says.
Charity glared at Garrett and Melony wasn't there. If looks could kill, Garrett would be vaporized on the spot.
Sharon and Lance were in disbelief at how selfish Garrett really was.
Luke started messaging the entertainment news site owners about this. And he was going to tell Gemma and Dave next.
Gemma decided to do one thing. Put Garrett and his team on a two-episode suspension. Dave seconded that.
"I thought that kid was nice. I guess I was wrong." Dave says.
Garrett's phone was blowing up with hate texts and even more hateful comments. And most of them even read that he was very selfish and thought of himself more than he thought of Shane.
Apparently, Shane losing on the big screen wasn't enough for him. He wanted Shane to have a horrible birthweek.
Kylie broke up with Garrett for hurting Shane. This really hurt him. Losing his girlfriend hurt way more than any hateful comments that were being thrown at him. Leni holds Garrett.
Shane came back to eat his breakfast in silence. He was very unhappy. Shane then left to work on his new song, Pity Party.
"So you entered an adventure to be in a movie where you beat Luke and Shane just for this. Just great. In 3 months, Luke and Shane will literally die of heartbreak because of that movie." Lola says, glaring at Garrett. "Luke won't live to see his 18th birthday, and frankly, neither will Shane."
"They won't die." Lucy says.
"They saw the trailer on Luke's anniversary…" Luna says.
"That trailer just showed Luke and Shane. They haven't shown most of the scenes yet. You know these movies, the teasers are small but in March or April, they will probably release a full length trailer. Then you can start worrying. Besides, what you should be focusing on is helping Shane." Lucy says as she had a backup plan.
She decided to have today be an opera show if the karaoke party was lost for good, but she'd only enact it if everything was still in chaos by 6 o'clock.
Shane worked on his song. He altered the Melanie Martinez lyrics and made most of them his own. The studio owners and Shane's managers were loving it.
"Amazing!" The managers say as they listen to Shane sing. "Shane, shall we do the video today?"
"Yeah I guess if it gets me the attention I deserve today." Shane sighed.
His managers started making some calls before taking Shane to get fitted for a kiddie-looking party outfit and made sure it was purple.
With the others…
"Okay, this is Shane's party! Not Garrett's!" Lori says to the manager of Carrey O'Key's.
"We could sacrifice a goat." Lucy says.
"Not now." Luan whispered.
Shane was on the set of his new music video, singing and acting all at once, letting his emotions fuel the passionate and upset feelings the song expressed.
They edited it and got it ready for release once the filming of it was completed.
Shane soon took off his party shoes and laid on the green room couch, still in the kiddie suit.
"You did great out there." His manager, Mason, says.
"Thanks." Shane says.
"What inspired you to come out with a bold song like this?" Mason asked him.
"I was about to ask that as well. Please tell us." His other manager, Jace, says.
"I thought of this ever since my half birthday last year, and the feelings of being forgotten on a lot of my special days, even today, is what led up to me releasing this song to the world." Shane told them. They pitied him.
"So, you aren't having a party tonight?" Jace asked.
"Garrett stole it!" Shane sobbed.
"What a selfish prick!" Both of his managers say.
With the siblings, they manage to get the karaoke place to host Shane's party. Lori then gets a notification on her phone about Shane's new video.
It was #1 in the world right now. They watch the entire thing.
Penny was at Warioware with the others watching it. The Foxes were watching this, too. They couldn't believe their eyes. Shane was letting his feelings guide him through a song.
This was big as everyone pitied Shane and began to decorate for him. They hung decorations in his favorite colors and put up music-themed decorations. The rock star theme was really a nice touch.
With Shane, he was smiling at the way his video came out. He came out to see lots of fans happy for him. He then revealed the reason for the song.
They hated Garrett and Melony a lot more now.
Soon, they finished decorating. Shane sighed and arrived at the party, knowing that it was canceled. He stepped into Carrey O'Key's as confetti fell on him.
"Surprise! Happy birthday, Shane!" Everyone says.
"Huh?!" Shane was stunned. He looked around and smiled at everything and everyone. He then looked away from Garrett, and so did a lot of the other guests.
Garrett decided to leave. He couldn't stay at the party, knowing everyone now hated him. People tossed food and rocks at him outside.
Garrett ran away crying before Melony pulled him into her house. He noticed she was bruised and messy with food sticking to her hair.
"Everyone hates me!" He sobbed.
"I don't." Melony says.
"Why did I plan that party?" Garrett says.
"What party?" Melony asked. Garrett then explained.
"You can stay at my house. At least there isn't a mob." she says.
"We're not on the show for two episodes." Garrett says shamefully.
"Gee, tell me something I don't know. I'm blind, not deaf." Melony says as she hears a thud and gasps.
Those who weren't at the party were forming a mob.
"I spoke too soon. Well, I'm not going down without a fight!" Melony says.
Meanwhile, the party began with Shane saying a few words to his guests.
"Thank you all for coming to celebrate my birthday. This means a lot to me. I had so many bad celebrations in the past. Would you believe my birthday party here was almost hijacked by a spiteful family member?" Shane says.
"Yeah!" a fan says.
"Well, as we speak, those winners are getting exactly what they deserve." Shane says.
Meanwhile, Shane's fans didn't want Melony and Garrett in Royal Woods. Melony came back dripping with blood as she actually fought some of them, but not even she was enough.
"We need to leave. I knew moving to Royal Woods was a bad idea!" Boston says as Melony looked annoyed, but something told her that Luke wasn't going to come to her defense this time.
"Garrett will come with me if we leave" Melony says "I mean, his family doesn't want him anymore."
"That is a bad idea." Melissa says.
"You two used to be friends." Melony says to her sister.
"Garrett is dead to me now. Be lucky that I'm helping you." Melissa says. "Garrett's dad is making him do community service and he's been grounded until summer break."
Melony looked at Garrett and gave him a big hug. "I'm really glad I saw you again. You're my best friend." She says and opens a trap door. "This should get you away long enough to survive the mob. They won't kill you because you're the mayor's son. It's probably me they want since I'm not Charity's daughter."
"Will we meet again?" Garrett asked.
"Yeah, I hope." Melony says and helps him leave as the door bursts open..
"Okay, mob, you want some? Come get some!" Melissa says as she and Melony stood side by side, ready to defend themselves.
With Shane, he listened to Luna sing.
"Amazing…" he says. He loved everything about this karaoke party.
Soon, it was Luke's turn to sing. Fans screamed hearing him sing as he sang Goodbye To You by Scandal. Fans cheered as he sang.
It ended up being background music as Melony and her family were leaving. Melissa looks at the manor one last time.
"Farewell and good riddance." Melissa says, thinking of Garrett.
"Does anyone hear music?" Melony asked. Melissa shrugged as Melony looked at the manor, ran out of the limo, and left a gift for Shane and a note.
"Farewell." Melony says and goes to the limo as they drive to the airport.
Soon, fans and guests wanted Shane to sing. Shane smiled and sang his song.

Everyone cheered for Shane as Lisa and Lily cried a bit during it with Shiloh. It was a sad song.
Shane then sang Raise Your Glass by Pink, a song he listened to at a house party he went to with the Oakley Academy cheer squad. That made the fans sing along with him as a grin appeared on his face.
Forest brought Garrett to the party since he couldn't do anything else due to being grounded from pretty much everything he was allowed to do.
Later, Tina got to sing as some fans cheered after that. Then a lot of other guests got to sing and have a bit of fun as they did so.
After the karaoke, Sharon ordered the food. Shane opened a few gifts as they were waiting for the food to come out. He gets a new birthday suit from Leni, a personal karaoke machine from Luna, a tool kit from Lana, and a jetpack from Penny. He then spots Luke's gift, which was a silver piano keyboard.
"I love it!" He says.
"So, they're letting Remy and Beau perform on Country Night." Stephen says. "Garrett and Melony aren't in that group anymore. Not for the next few episodes. Dave was in disbelief when he heard what Garrett did."
"Yeah. No one is allowed to beat Luke or Shane, ever." Remy says.
"It's time to eat, everyone!" Sharon says.
Everyone rushed to eat, but Shane got the first serving and soon sat in his personal booth. He sat with Sasha and Penny inside the booth.
Garrett sighed as he sat alone. Deep down, he knew he deserved everything that was coming to him. He deserved to skip two episodes of ANH. He deserved to be told off for hurting Shane and he deserved to be grounded until the summer.
"First, he beats me just to be in a movie, then he tries to ruin my week." Shane sniffed. His tears filled his eyes. "He got his wish. He beat me. Now he can shut up about it. And as for that movie? I don't think I want to see it."
Later, Ashley went outside for fresh air. Penny was reassuring Shane.
"Why don't you sing, Penny?" Shane asked her.
"I've never heard her sing before." Sasha says.
"Yeah, come on, Penny! Sing!" Luke says.
Penny smiled and went on stage, singing her song. Everyone was loving it. Especially Shane.
Everyone was cheering for Penny as she finished her song. Shane clapped and smiled at her.
"Ashley, it's your turn!" Penny says as Ashley rushes off. 5-Volt just smiled.
"Don't force her to do it, okay? She's kinda stage-shy, you know." 5-Volt says. Penny nods understandingly.
After that, Luke holds the rock guitar piñata and smiles. "Piñata time, everyone!" Luke says. Shane dashed ahead of the others and took the bat from Penny, breaking the piñata as music-themed toys, full-size candy bars, and other candy poured from it.
Penny tried an Almond Joy bar and grinned. "Delicious!" She says with a smile.
"I like this a lot!" Sasha says, eating a bag of Wild Berry Skittles. Shane smiled and helped himself to his share of the toys and candy, soon munching on a Snickers bar.
As the cake was being prepared by Stephen, the Carrey O'Key's DJ played music to dance to. Everyone was soon on their feet, busting out their best dance moves, especially Shane.
And when the DJ played Just Sing from Trolls World Tour, everyone was singing along and dancing as Penny's drone filmed this. This part of the party is truly going to be memorable and this would be a moment that Shane and his guests would never forget.
After that, everyone gathers around for cake and the Blue Bunny Birthday Party ice cream sandwiches. The cake itself is a glorious sight.
The cake looked like a theater marquee and had edible music notes and a toy microphone, and even a toy Shane singing. The cake reads One Night Only- Shane Loud Performing At A Special Carrey O'Key's Celebration! Happy 17th Birthday! in purple icing. 17 candles in sparkling shades of purple were placed around the perimeter of the cake.
"Stephen, you have outdone yourself!" Shane says with a smile.
"Thank you very much." Stephen says, smiling as he lights the candles. The entire room filled with singing as the karaoke version of Happy Birthday To You played with everyone singing along with it. Shane was truly enjoying every minute of this.
He soon shuts his eyes and thinks of a wish. He wishes that his week would keep getting this good with the hope that nothing else would try to ruin this. He inhaled deeply and blew out all 17 candles on the cake as the place filled with cheers.
As everyone ate the cake and ice cream sandwiches, everyone was soon talking about the school's winter play. Shane and Luke smiled.
"Are you guys talking about the SpongeBob musical?" Penny asked. "I'm so trying out for that!"
"Oh, us, too!" Shane and Luke say.
The siblings just ate their cake and ice cream sandwiches, happy for Shane.
Melony sat at the airport with her family. She knew that she deserved to leave Royal Woods. She knew she was going to be hated by the people in any place she moved to and any chance of her making friends with other people was now gone.
"I blew my one chance at having friends and having a school life. Hell, my life is over. Back to being a shut-in." Melony says.
"That's right. You're never leaving the house again!" Boston says. "And you'll be homeschooled!"
"Oh, joy…" Melony says with sarcasm in her voice.
Shane was walking out of the karaoke place with Penny and Sasha, smiling.
"Tonight was just incredible!" Shane says, a huge smile on his face.
"So what's planned for tomorrow?" Sasha asked.
"Indoor skydiving!" Shane says, excited.
"Awesome! I love it!" Penny says.
"Then a sleepover party afterwards at my place. I have a new game for us to play." Shane says. Sasha and Penny were getting excited about this.
