This story came to me when I was listening to the radio and Aerosmith's song "Love in an elevator" started to play :)
The elevator doors were opened and two people stepped into the elevator. It was a woman and a living skeleton wearing a black suit and hat. The woman was dressed in protective clothing that her friend Ghastly Bespoke had done for her and she had her hair set in a ponytail. They had just finished a case that Ghastly had asked them to take care of and were on their way back to Roarhaven to make a report.
The woman's name was Valkyrie Cain and the living skeleton that stood next to her was her partner the notorious detective Skulduggery pleasant, which just a few days ago had been upgraded from working partner to boyfriend.
The elevator doors were closed, and the elevator began its journey down to the entrance floor where they would step out of the building, they were in be able to sit in the Bentley that was parked in the parking lot, waiting for them.
Valkyrie glanced at Skulduggery where he stood next to her. Their arms were only a few centimetres apart and if she stretched out her arm just slightly, she could touch him. She bit her lip to resist the temptation. If she touched him now, she would not be able to keep her hands in control.
Ever since they became a couple a few days ago, Valkyrie had taken all occasions to touch Skulduggery. She could not get enough of the feeling of his bones against her skin or the sounds he gave away when she touched him. She had never wanted to have anyone in the way she wanted to have Skulduggery. He lit a fire in her that she did not know she had. Then the fact that Skulduggery was extremely skilled with his fingers and tongue (when he used his human façade) didn't make the matter easier for her.
Skulduggery, after all, had many years of experience with women and their anatomy.
Valkyrie opened her mouth to say something when the elevator suddenly stopped. She looked at Skulduggery who shrugged his shoulders. He leaned forward and pressed one of the elevator buttons, but the elevator was still not moving. He turned to Valkyrie and said, "We might have a problem."
"Don't dare say what I think you are about to say," Valkyrie warned with a hint of tremor in her voice.
"I am afraid that the elevator is having problems and that we will have to stay in here until the problem is solved."
Valkyrie moaned. "I told you not to say anything!" She tied her fists and felt how her claustrophobia slowly began to creep up on her.
Skulduggery leaned against the elevator wall and crossed his arms. He looked at Valkyrie and said with a calm voice "Valkyrie, calm down. Help will be here soon, and we are in no danger."
"Not at the moment, no! But what if the elevator suddenly starts to fall uncontrolled!" Valkyrie began to pace on the elevator floor. "What do we do then? I do not want to die in an elevator! I have just started living and have many hundreds of years left to live where I can explore both myself and the world around me! Besides, I am just too beautiful to die a ridiculous death!"
"You will not die, and the elevator will not fall. If it were to do so, I will break us out of here."
"And why can't you just do it now instead of us having to sit here for God knows how long?!"
"Because, as I said, we are not in any danger. I said it just recently. Didn't you listen to what I said and why are you so upset? In recent days, I have been given the impression that you have nothing against being close to me."
"I love being close to you, that is true. Who wouldn't be? I mean, you are a living skeleton! How many in the world can say that they have been embraced by a living skeleton during their lifetime?"
"Not that many."
"Exactly."
"And I would probably like to say that even fewer people can say that they have had a relationship with one," Skulduggery said with a hint of a laugh in his voice.
Valkyrie could not help a smile from spreading over her lips. "I would say I'm one of very few, which I am very proud of."
"Of course you are. After all, you are one of the few people I have given the great honour to title me as their boyfriend."
"Which I am extremely happy about," Valkyrie replied, and walked over to Skulduggery. She grabbed his tie and forced his skull down to her own face. She let her lips meet Skulduggery's teeth in a kiss and pressed against him, which caused Skulduggery's arms to lie around her back.
"Valkyrie ..." Skulduggery whispered and pressed his teeth harder against her lips, which caused Valkyrie to smile.
"Admit it... You cannot get enough of me."
"Why should I?"
Valkyrie laughed and let her lips wander from Skulduggery's teeth down to his chin before continuing down to his neck vertebrae. She could feel how Skulduggery shivered by her touch, which caused her own body to react. She was filled with a warmth that travelled down to between her legs and all she wanted was to feel Skulduggery's hands caress her until she was crazy with desire.
Something at which he was extremely good.
"Valkyrie, your brain is not like someone else's. You are the only one I know who would start thinking about sex in this kind of situation."
"I try to distract myself from the fact that we are locked up in a narrow elevator God knows for how long! And I can gladly admit that I am slightly fixated by sex, but it is only because of the fact that I have had feelings for you for a long time and now that I finally have you for myself, I intend to take every opportunity I can to explore your body. Plus, you are incredibly good in bed."
"'A little fixated'?" asked Skulduggery with a smile in his voice and bent his head in an amused angle. "And I am fully aware that I am good in bed. There is nothing I'm not good at."
Valkyrie rolled her eyes but did not answer. Instead, she bent her head and wrinkled her eyebrows in a thoughtful gesture, which caused Skulduggery to laugh again before he said, "When you get that thinking face, you intend to ask either a really stupid or uncomfortable question."
"Have you ever done it in an elevator? You know, as in Aerosmith's song 'Love in an Elevator'?"
"No, I have not."
Valkyrie nodded. "Okay. It is okay because I haven't either."
"I didn't think you had, either."
Valkyrie sighed irritated and pulled one hand through her hair. She looked down at Skulduggery 's chest while the thoughts spun in her head. Skulduggery stroked her back as she thought.
"Would you like to…?" Valkyrie whispered and felt her cheeks turn red in embarrassment.
Skulduggery bent his head in an amused gesture. "Valkyrie, are you about to ask me what I think you intend to ask me? And how can you be excited right now?"
"Maybe ... it depends on what you think I intend to ask you. And yes, I am. Slightly. Once the thought appeared in my head, I could not let it go and I started... You know... imagining things."
"You've always had a very lively imagination."
Valkyrie began to caress Skulduggery 's bony chest slowly. "Are you not a little curious about what I would like you to do to me in here?"
Skulduggery laughed. "I know what you want."
"Prove it."
Skulduggery let one of his hands wander downwards to Valkyrie's ass while the other found its way inside of her t-shirt where it searched its way to her bra. Skulduggery unbuttoned Valkyrie's bra with experienced fingers before he let his skeleton fingers massage Valkyrie's breast while he pushed her body against his own with the other hand that lay pressed against her backside. He leaned forward and whispered in her ear "You like it when I caress you, don't you? You like feeling my cold, bony fingers embrace your warm skin. You love the contrast between our bodies. It makes you excited and you cannot get enough."
"Yes…" Valkyrie moaned and pushed her body harder against Skulduggery. "I have fantasized about this for so long… I cannot get enough of you, Skulduggery… I want to feel your hands, fingers, and mouth over my whole body… I want to feel you inside of me…"
Valkyrie let her hands enclose Skulduggery's cheekbones and pressed her lips hard against his teeth before she let her tongue explore them, which made Skulduggery moan low. He took one of Valkyrie's nipples between his fingers and started to play with it, which made Valkyrie moan aloud. Skulduggery activated his façade and let his now human lips meet Valkyrie's in a kiss. Skulduggery let his tongue sweep over Valkyries lower lip, which made her open her mouth for him and it did not take many seconds before they both were tongue kissing.
Valkyrie brushed her body against Skulduggery's and let her hands find their way under his shirt where she started to caress his chest and stomach, which made Skulduggery shiver while he deepened their kiss. Valkyrie nibbled a little on Skulduggery's lower lip while she let the hand that caressed his stomach wander down to his hipbone where she let her fingertips slowly caress the skin. She could feel the contour of Skulduggery's desire against her forearm, which just increased her own desire.
"You are so hard for me, Skulduggery…" Valkyrie whispered. She let her hand wander even further down and when she found what she was looking for she let her fingers lay around it, which made Skulduggery moan against her lips.
"Valkyrie…" Skulduggery whispered before he bit her lower lip.
Valkyrie laughed before she reluctantly let go of Skulduggery's desire to be able to unbutton the button in his suit pants. She pulled them down while she at the same time bent down until her head was in the same height as Skulduggery's desire. She let her tongue sweep over the whole of his length in a slow movement before she took him in her mouth. Skulduggery grabbed her hair and moaned loud. He started to move back and forth, and Valkyrie quickly managed to keep up with him. She let her tongue sweep over him while she sucked, which just made Skulduggery moan louder.
Valkyrie felt how the sound of Skulduggery's pleasure made her sex drip and how waves of excitement coursed through her, even though Skulduggery didn't touch her. The knowledge that she could Skulduggery this kind of pleasure made her own desire increase and she knew that it wouldn't take long before she would beg Skulduggery to take her so she would be able to satisfy her own desire.
"My turn…" Skulduggery growled and pulled Valkyrie up to face height.
He gave her a hungry kiss before he switched their positions, so she was the one pushed up against the wall. Skulduggery pulled down Valkyrie's pants and underwear with such a force that Valkyrie shivered from the sudden coldness that enclosed her throbbing and waiting sex. Skulduggery then lifted Valkyrie's legs and lay them around his waist before he let his fingers slip inside her wet folds.
Skulduggery started to pump his fingers in and out of Valkyrie with such speed that Valkyrie couldn't do nothing else but lean her head backwards and scream out her pleasure. "Skulduggery… Yes…! Oh god… Don't stop…"
"Never… Not when you scream my name with such passion…" Skulduggery whispered in Valkyrie's ear and let his thumb sweep over Valkyrie's clitoris while he continued to pump his fingers in and out of her, which just made Valkyrie moan louder.
"Please, Skulduggery… I need more… I need you…"
"Since you ask so nicely…" Skulduggery said and pulled out his fingers from Valkyrie before he grabbed a hold of her ass. He positioned himself and let his length slowly caress Valkyrie's entrance before he pushed himself inside of her.
"Yes…" Valkyrie moaned and pushed her head back against the elevator wall while she bent her back to give Skulduggery more access to her innermost being.
Skulduggery started to move in and out of Valkyrie. He kissed her throat and neck while he moved and let his teeth nibble the tender skin as well, which made Valkyrie shiver. She moved at the same pace as Skulduggery and let her nails dig down in his back every time he hit an extra sensitive spot, which practically were every time he pushed himself inside of her. She did not know how he did it, but it was as if he knew exactly where and how he should move to give her absolute pleasure.
"Skulduggery…" Valkyrie moaned. She pushed herself harder against Skulduggery and felt how her inner muscles started to contract more and more. "I… am close…"
Skulduggery looked into Valkyrie's eyes and whispered "Come for me, Valkyrie."
That was all Valkyrie needed and when the orgasm swept over her Skulduggery caught her lips in a passionate kiss and swallowed all her moans. Valkyrie's whole body shook from the pleasure that was coursing through her and she felt how Skulduggery also followed her over the edge.
They breathed heavily and it took a moment before any of them could speak again. Valkyrie was the one of them that regained a bit of her strength first. She looked Skulduggery in the eyes while she with a smile said "Yet another thing we can write up on our list over things we have experienced together for the first time."
Skulduggery laughed and gave Valkyrie a kiss before he pulled out of her. He stroked her cheek slowly and opened his mouth to say something, when the sound of an elevator that is set in motion could be heard and the second thereafter the elevator started to move again.
Skulduggery and Valkyrie hurried to get dressed and Skulduggery deactivated his façade. When the elevator doors opened Valkyrie could not help but notice all the gazes, they got from the other magicians that found themselves in the entrance. She suspected that many of them could see on them what had been going on inside that elevator, but she could not have been caring less. She felt completely satisfied and was not afraid of showing it.
She took Skulduggery's hand in hers and gave him a smile while they walked towards the Bentley and didn't let go of him until she was forced to it when she was about to sit down in the passenger seat. "Did you also notice all the glances we got? I have a feeling that everyone in there understood what we did in that elevator."
"So what? Since when have you cared about what others think about what you are doing?"
Valkyrie laughed and laid her hand on Skulduggery's thigh. "I don't care at all; I am instead rather proud of being able to show the world that I am yours and that you are mine."
Skulduggery laughed and pressed his teeth against Valkyrie's lips for a few seconds before he turned his attention to the road. The drive to Roarhaven passed in a comfortable silence and Valkyrie couldn't help to think about what they had been doing in that elevator. She could feel how small shivers of warmth found its way down her stomach to in between her legs when she thought back on the feeling of Skulduggery that moved in and out of her and she forced herself to take a deep breath to calm down herself.
They drove into Roarhaven and parked in the Sanctuary's underground parking lot. They took the magical elevator up to the corridor where Ghastly's office was located, and Valkyrie couldn't help but glance at Skulduggery as they went up. Skulduggery stood with his arms clasped behind his back and he didn't show what he was feeling or thinking. Before Valkyrie could say anything, the doors opened and they stepped out of the elevator where they were greeted by Tanith Low, Valkyrie's best friend and Ghastly Bespoke's girlfriend who also happened to be the captain of the Cleavers.
Tanith only needed to take a quick look at Valkyrie to understand the reason they were late for their meeting with Ghastly. She raised one eyebrow and gave Valkyrie a look that said, "I'm just a little disappointed in you".
"So… you two are late because you felt compelled to do a quicky before reporting back to Ghastly and me."
"Sort of…" Valkyrie said, smiling sheepishly.
"I'll go ahead and begin our report," Skulduggery said, walking into Ghastly's office.
"So, do I get to hear all the juicy details of what you two have been up to after the mission was completed?" Tanith asked, letting her arm wrap around her best friend's shoulders.
"The elevator had a problem, and we were stuck between two floors. Skulduggery wanted us to wait until the problem was resolved and you know how I am when I must sit still and wait. I got bored and one thought led to another…"
Tanith laughed. "I have to try and get the recording of that elevator!"
Valkyrie laughed too. "You can always try."
"So… how is Skulduggery in bed? I have seen that you have had a tough time keeping your hands under control when you are around him. Especially now that you've finally become official."
"He is divine, Tanith!" Valkyrie said with a big smile on her face. "I have never felt so satisfied as I have these past few days. Or horny… I just can't get enough of Skulduggery!"
"It shows," Tanith replied with a smile. "I can see that Skulduggery has a hard time tearing himself away from you too."
"Is it so strange? After all, he has been a skeleton for hundreds of years and has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to having sex with another human."
Tanith laughed again as they entered Ghastly's office. Ghastly gave both women a thoughtful look and Valkyrie could not help but say "Tanith, I just had a wonderful idea. Maybe you should sabotage one of the Sanctuary elevators when you and Ghastly are in it so you also can experience what it is like to have sex in an elevator."
Skulduggery let out a very deep sigh and lay one of his hands over his face while Ghastly stared at Valkyrie with an open mouth. Tanith laughed so hard that she was forced to lay a hand on her stomach while at the same time taking a hold of Ghastly's desk as not to fall on the floor.
"Don't listen to Valkyrie, Ghastly", Skulduggery said, still covering his face with his hand. "She is talking nonsense as usual."
"What? I'm just giving Tanith and Ghastly some suggestions on how they can spice up their sex life!" Valkyrie answered with a hurtful voice. "There is nothing wrong with wanting to strengthen your best friend's relationship, right?"
"I…" Ghastly said with a confused voice. "I don't understand…"
"You see Ghastly, after we had completed the mission, you gave to us me and Skulduggery got stuck in the elevator and to make time pass we…" Valkyrie started telling but got interrupted by Skulduggery that straitened and gave her a gaze that indicated she should be quiet.
"We should probably get going. We have a lot of bad guys to catch", Skulduggery said, grabbed Valkyrie's hand and pulled her out from the office.
Valkyrie waved goodbye to Ghastly – which still looked completely confused – and Tanith – that still laughed so hard that tears poured down her cheeks. "Bye! Don't worry Ghastly, Tanith can explain everything when she has stopped laughing."
Skulduggery pulled Valkyrie into the elevator and as soon as they began their journey down to the parking garage he grabbed Valkyrie's jaw. "You have been a bad girl, Valkyrie. You know what I do towards bad girls."
"Punish them."
"Exactly."
Valkyrie smiled. "Do your worst."
