The next day, Garrett sobbed. When he came into school, the front page of the school newspaper showed it all.
At Hexside, it was a big day. It was graduation day for the witches and wizards who were of high school graduation age. Emira and Edric were among 21 other graduates, including Viney and Jerbo. And of course, Hunter was also graduating today.
Amity and Alador were making a big deal out of Edric and Emira's graduation day.
Edric and Emira were practicing the song and dance the Hexside graduates were going to do at the ceremony. Emira decides to tease Edric about the alcoholic potion incident.
"Oh, Edric…" Emira says.
"What?" He asked.
"Did Jerbo's tongue taste good when you got drunk off that alcoholic potion?" Emira teased. She was recalling the alcoholic potion that he made on a dare and how he ended up making out with a drunken Jerbo under the Grudgby stands.
"EM!" Edric says, blushing bright red.
Everyone gasped as he had cheated on Emila. But the relationship wasn't official as it happened while he was drunk. They didn't make it official. At least not yet. Edric really hoped that Emila wouldn't find out about this.
Thankfully, she didn't. But Edric would have to tell her eventually.
Emila was crying because Edric missed her birthday and missed her competition. She lost again. To the Foxes, Oliver included.
She sobbed hard. She had been repressing her emotions in public. But she couldn't keep thinking about this. She had to get ready for the graduation ceremony.
And the reasons Edric missed her birthday and the competition? Studying for his final exams in Beast Keeping and Potions respectively. He passed both of them.
Emila was getting dressed when there was an explosion.
"You disgusting mutants always make me sick." Anti-Hybrid says
"Oh, looks like you need a bucket." Melony taunted as he tried punching Melony, who dodged.
"Oh, no, not today!" Emila says. As she was studying, the fight took place in the background.
Angry Luigi stomped on Anti-Hybrid and smirked before some soldiers arrived.
"Time to bail!" Angry Luigi says as he leaves with Bill and Savannah.
"Okay, soldiers, you're the ones who killed my family!" Melony says, glaring.
"Melony, run for it!" Emila says.
"I'm not running" Melony says as they shot at her. Melony dodged.
"I have no time for this today!" Emila screamed, annoyed.
She rushed and grabbed Melony and tossed her to Bill's plane and glared as she teleported behind one of the soldiers and kicked him, then teleported and punched one as she looked annoyed as heck.
"You!" Gem says. "You cosmic buddies will be captured one day! just you wait"
"I have no time for you today either, spoiled pest." Emila growled.
The soldiers fired at Emila as Angry Luigi leaped in and grabbed Emila and ran off.
"Coward." Emila says, storming off.
"What? He doesn't even love you." Keith says.
"You're lying." Emila says as Keith shows the footage.
Emila hissed and tackled Keith as Alem tuber and his boys joined in as most of the cosmic buddies were in a fight cloud.
Angry Luigi watched this and sighed as Savannah tried to break up the fight, but Emila was choking Keith. She then got up and teleported away before anyone could stop her.
"Did she just quit?" Savannah asked.
"She has somewhere to be today. We just kept holding her back from leaving." Bill says.
"We're not that important." Angry Luigi sighed.
"She kept telling us she had somewhere to be, and we weren't listening at all." Savannah says.
At Hexside, the graduating students were at their final graduation practice before the ceremony that would take place that afternoon.
Emila came to watch the practice. Edric attempted to hide his face in the hood of his robe. He knew he was dead now that Emila's nosy friend Keith showed her the footage from that night.
Emila could see him since he was hiding his face. Edric couldn't look at her. He didn't look at her. He knew she was going to hate him for the things he did that night.
With Luke, he had put the last of his acting awards into a spare closet in his bedroom.
Garrett goes to him. "I'm sorry, Luke. I never meant to make it come down to you doing this." He says.
"I never want to act again. Okay?" Luke sniffed. "You just had to ruin mine and Shane's reputation on the big screen…"
Garrett looks down. "I'll do anything… please…" he says, on his knees in front of Luke. He already stripped naked in front of all of Oakley Academy and was the literal butt of everyone's jokes for days. What could Luke come up with?
"You will attend the graduation party naked. And I think Edric and Emira will approve of you doing so." Luke says.
"Oh, all right…" Garrett says and goes off to strip down. It was gonna be a long day without clothes to cover himself.
At the graduation ceremony later that day, after the sophomores and juniors in the Bard coven did a wonderful rendition of Pomp And Circumstance, the graduates sat in chairs on the Grudgby field as the staff made some speeches.
The class valedictorian, which was Emira, went up and made a speech next.
"I'd like to thank my father for raising me. It's a real honor." Emira says. "This year, I've learned so many things that I'll take with me when I leave Hexside. I won't forget the memories I made and I'll always remember the friends I made here, too. We're all gonna go out into the world and make something of ourselves and use our magic for good things, like helping people or whatever you choose to do with it. Congratulations to this graduating class!"
Alador took pictures and clapped for his daughter.
Edric was the salutatorian and he was next to make a speech. He stepped onto the stage and began to speak. "I'd like to thank my sister, Emira. She always kept me on the right track, through our studies and all. I'd also like to thank my girlfriend, Emila. She really helped me through so much. And to these graduates, we roamed the halls of Hexside together, making memories, discovering new things, finding who we were destined to be through hard work and determination. At first, we were just rookie witches and wizards, trying to find our first classes to help us further our careers. And now, here we are, graduating and getting ready to go out into the world as we prepare to do bigger and better things. Congrats to us for getting through high school, graduating class!" Edric says as Alador cheered for his son.
After the speeches, the graduates did their We Go Together performance, then they got their final coven emblems placed upon their robes as they got their diplomas.
Emila smiled a bit as she saw Edric get his Beast Keeping and Potions emblems placed upon his robe. Alador cried tears of joy before seeing Emira get her Healing and Illusions emblems placed upon her robe.
After the ceremony…
"I am so proud of you two!" Alador says, hugging Edric and Emira.
Viney and Jerbo sigh as they had no parents to support them. Hunter didn't care much either way.
Amity pitied Emira's girlfriend and Edric's friend.
"Are you two okay?" Amity asked them. They look down.
"They can stay at my place if they want…" Melony says
Savannah thinks her parents would adopt them, no problem.
"We had parents. Then they left us." Jerbo says, touching the Abomination and Plant emblems on his robe.
"Mine abandoned me after 8th grade." Viney admitted, feeling the Healing emblem on her robe.
"My parents died when I was 13." Jerbo says. "Dark magic killed them."
Savannah calls her parents, who are more than happy to take Viney and Jerbo in.
"They're proud of you both." Savannah says. "Graduating from high school is such a big step, and they insisted on making you a graduation cake, which the five of us will eat together while we celebrate this milestone."
Viney was surprised and didn't know what to say. Jerbo cried and hugged Savannah for a long while because he was finally happy to have a family again. Savannah smiled.
"I offered." Melony says.
Soon, it was time for Edric and Emira's party. Hunter would also be joining this party as Emira insisted he do so. Jerbo and Viney said they will be celebrating with their new family, but would catch up a lot later.
Savannah leads them to her house. It was a big house.
"Welcome to your new home." Savannah says with a smile.
"I like it a lot." Jerbo says, smiling.
"This is amazing." Viney says.
Luke shows up to the party with a fully naked Garrett in tow. The sign on him says Make Fun Of Me For I Am A Reputation-Ruining Piece Of Scum. Do Not Clothe Me Or Master Luke Will Punish Me Further.
Melony frowned. But she wasn't allowed to interfere in the punishments Luke and Shane were inflicting on Garrett. Or she would be banished to Greendale, where it was illegal to be a hero. She had already tried to interfere once.
Emira and Edric were smiling at this. The kids at the party laugh at this as Garrett was blushing, embarrassed.
Amity got Emira some hair dye. Emira smiled, thinking about dying her hair.
Emila got Edric a wand. He smiled at this and kissed her.
Emira gave Hunter a gift. Hunter saw a new palisman in the box.
"Emira, it's perfect." Hunter says. "A blue jay, just like Waffle."
"You can give this one a new name if you like." Emira says.
"Waffle The Second." he says.
Luz winced, knowing the original Waffle had passed on.
Savannah gave Viney and Jerbo gifts. Viney smiled at the new healing books and Jerbo was surprised by the gardening tools and planting kits.
"I know I'm not rich like Luke or Oliver, but I hope you're happy with your rooms." Savannah says.
"We're just grateful to have a family that loves us unconditionally." Viney says.
"We love our rooms." Jerbo says.
Savannah took them to a restaurant in Greendale to celebrate their graduation. She had asked her parents to help buy the dance party room for tonight's celebration.
Meanwhile, Melony was outside and took off her clothes. If Garrett was going to suffer, then she'd suffer along with him so he wouldn't be alone.
She came in as people laughed at her, too. She goes to Garrett, who was by Luke's side the whole time.
Garrett looks down in shame as Melony wants to help him. She knows she can't interfere.
Edric got a new potion kit from his dad.
"Sweet! This is awesome!" Edric says.
Emira gasped when she saw her new illusion mirror.
"I love it!" She says. "Thank you, Daddy!"
"And of course…" Alador presents Edric and Emira with keys to new cars. "Every graduate needs a second car!"
They squeal and see the two cars in yellow and blue, respectively.
Amity folds her arms and walks off. Luz was concerned as she followed her.
Luke sees Amity and Luz come outside, which was where he was as he was helping set up the carnival rides.
"Let me guess. it's your birthday." Luke says, annoyed that his wasn't here yet. His mood then changes when he sees Amity sobbing.
"Hey, hey, it's okay." Luke says as he and Luz hold Amity.
"They get the best of everything! They never even care about me! Always calling me names and always saying my abominations are bad, always tearing me down…telling me I'll never be good enough! Not to mention that they never even saw that my day was on the same day as this glorious occasion!" Amity sobbed as she just looked down.
Luke understood this jealousy all too well as he knew exactly what Amity was going through. The siblings often had events on his day or they often tell him he isn't enough. He also knows what it's like to see other siblings getting the best of everything when they don't deserve it sometimes.
"Oh, Amity…" Luz says. "I'm so sorry…"
She hugged her as she and Luke think of something.
Meanwhile, Savannah shows Viney and Jerbo the karaoke stage.
"Oh, my!" Viney says. She hadn't seen a karaoke stage since the Healing Coven's Christmas party.
Jerbo was curious as he had never done karaoke before.
"It's just singing. Try it, you might like it." Savannah says.
Jerbo began to try it. It turns out he could actually sing pretty well.
"Why didn't you show off this side of you while we were in school?" Viney asked him.
"Because I've always just shown off my magic skills. No one ever asked me to like, sing and stuff." Jerbo says.
Savannah was baking a cake for them.
Amity came back to the party, now ignoring her siblings. They notice this.
"I. Hate. Both. Of. You!" Amity screamed.
They then realized it was her birthday and frowned.
Luke and Luz were on Earth now, decorating for Amity.
Edric and Emira came in looking down.
"It is our graduation day, but now we feel like bad siblings…" Emira says.
"Maybe we should cancel our party and celebrate Amity." Edric says.
"Or maybe we should include her now that we're high school graduates." Emira says. "We should be nicer to her. She didn't deserve to be insulted."
Stephen sighs and realizes he had to make even more cakes. But he wasn't complaining. Baking was his thing.
Later, Amity came in and gasped.
"Happy birthday, Amity!" everyone says.
"What…what is this?" Amity says, surprised. Edric and Emira just smiled at their sister.
"Your birthday party." They say.
"You gave up your party for me?" Amity asked.
"We'll get our graduation cakes all the same. But we're gonna celebrate together." Edric says.
"Wait, where's Viney and Jerbo?" Amity asked.
"Celebrating with their new family." Emira says. "They'll be here later."
"We'll get them here" Mike and Josh say, but Luke shakes his head.
"Those two have been through a lot. A lot more than any of us combined. Forcing them to come isn't going to do anything but hurt them more." Luke says. "They said they would be here later, and that's good enough for me."
"Making a lot of assumptions." Delta says, knowing that she had a darker past, but that was for another day.
Later, Savannah was making desserts as Mike and Josh spy on her.
They were about to hi-jack her plans, but triggered one of Jack's traps and were launched into their own house.
They put spikes on the road hoping Alem tuber would cross by, but Delta sped by as the spikes fell on them.
Later they covered a hole up and waited by a cannon, but Angry Luigi ran over the hole. Oime lit the cannon, but Alem tuber tipped it over as it blew up on them.
Later, Savannah got Viney and Jerbo new clothes.
"Wow, this is amazing…" Viney says, looking at the clothes. Truth be told, she had worn the same 4 outfits for most of her school career. Jerbo almost never got new clothes, so you'd see patches on his shirt sleeves and the legs of his pants. They never got new shoes, either, as they were mostly used tennis shoes from Goodwill or they wore the same shoes until the soles wore off.
"This is so nice of you." Jerbo says.
Savannah also got them new hats and bedsheets.
"I doubt you were a criminal. You must have been framed." Jerbo says.
"I was, but no one believes me. It's all over now." Savannah says.
Viney tries one of the cookies and moans with satisfaction.
"Oh, I haven't eaten this type of cookie in ages…" Viney says. "Cranberry chocolate chip…"
Savannah smiled.
Luz got Amity a makeup kit. Amity smiled and kissed her cheek.
Luke came in with a car as a gift for Amity. Amity squealed at the pink convertible before her.
"Thank you!" Amity says as Luke smiles.
Emila stood outside, alone. She was now looking at the footage Keith was showing her.
She glared at Edric, then looked down. She couldn't blame him as alcoholic potions played a role in that, and it didn't feel like an official relationship.
She just keeps being alone; she was like that her whole life. It hurt to see this footage.
Later, Luz and Amity smiled as they danced. Emira sadly danced alone and same for Edric.
Luke takes pity and dances with Emira. Edric just sat on the sidelines.
Emila sighed and took pity and danced with him. She didn't like what she saw, but she didn't want Edric to be alone. Even if she hates dancing and singing.
Savannah invited Angry Luigi and the others to the party. Jerbo and Viney looked a bit nervous. Jerbo had some trust issues when it came to new people and only knew his school friends and Viney, and now Savannah. Viney liked new people, but had to get to know them before fully accepting them into her life. Emira was an exception to that as she and Emira were in the same coven and hung out all the time.
People were taking pictures of a naked Garrett and laughing as Amity also took pictures. He sniffed and was blushing even more at this. It got worse as someone poured some punch on him.
"Oh, Luke, someone is dressing Garrett!" Oliver says.
"Who?!" Luke hissed.
"Gus!" Luz says.
Luke took out a whip. "Garrett, what did I say about you wearing clothes tonight?" He hissed. "Answer me!"
"Not to…" Garrett says.
"Your ass is getting whipped! Bend over! Now!" Luke hissed.
Garrett whimpered as he did so. The whipping began as Garrett cried out and begged for Luke to stop.
"Are you gonna wear clothes anymore tonight?" Luke asked the whimpering redhead.
"N-No…master…" Garrett stammered.
"Good." Luke says, putting the whip away.
Melony was horrified. Even though she couldn't see it, she felt it happening.
Later, they played some games. Amity got bored with one of them after a bit. After that, Amity just made out with Luz as the rest of the games were being played.
The DJ then played some music in the background as everyone was soon getting food and chatting. Edric sat by himself as he ate. Hunter sat next to him.
"Hey, you okay, Ed?" Hunter asked as he ate.
"I hate Emila's nosy friends…" Edric says to Hunter.
"Why?" Hunter asked.
"I know that Keith guy was there the night me and Jerbo…you know…" Edric says. "He recorded that footage just to make Emila mad."
Emila came up to Edric and Hunter.
"Can I speak to Edric?" She asked.
Edric followed Emila outside. He couldn't even look at her.
"Listen, it was just a spell that went wrong. Nothing more, nothing less." Emila says.
"Alcoholic potions, Emila. It was alcoholic potions." Edric said, his head hung down.
"Still, it wasn't official, so I'm not mad." Emila says.
"I almost had some feelings for him, but it was drunkenness that made me think that." Edric says.
Emila pulls him into a kiss.
Jerbo and Viney later came to the party. Amity smiled.
"Hey, siblings, your girlfriend and boyfriend are here!" she teased.
"Viney!" Emira says as she embraces her.
"Jerbo?" Edric asked.
"Let me guess, your party sucked." Mike says to Viney.
"We wanted to be here for the twins and Amity." Viney says.
Emila thinks about going home, true to her lonely nature.
Mike and Josh had some grins as they walk out of the party before Oliver took out the 3 pinatas.
Three piñatas were later brought out. Amity gasped and went to break one open. The Blight siblings then broke the piñatas open with magic, sending candy and toys everywhere as the guests cheered.
Savannah frowned a bit, but wasn't mad. They didn't eat their cakes or try the new games she had planned or even gone skydiving. But she knew there would be plenty of time for them to bond over things like that. She decided to present Jerbo and Viney with their cakes, anyway.
"They'll get tired of you eventually. The foxes get annoyed over our antics. I doubt those two will stand it here." Alem tuber says as Savannah frowned, realizing they may not like it. since Savannah wasn't Luke rich.
But, oh, how wrong she was. Those two were grateful to have a decent house to live in and new clothes to wear and all the other things. They were also grateful to not be living on the streets.
Soon, there was a highlight reel of the Blight twins, Hunter, Viney, and Jerbo's high school years. They all smile and laugh at this.
Soon, Garrett had to do the hammer dance as the DJ played U Can't Touch This. Everyone at the party was laughing and taking pictures or recording this. This felt like the biggest highlight of the party, and it was, indeed.
Before dessert, Luke brought out the emblem piñatas. This was different as there wasn't candy in these, but there was sweet confetti inside them all.
"Ah, the Hexside graduation celebration tradition!" Alador says. "Where the graduates announce their covens and break the corresponding emblem piñatas. Are you five ready for this?" He asked Edric, Emira, Viney, Jerbo, and Hunter.
The group nodded and grabbed their bats. They soon began to do so as everyone was cheering for them.
Savannah goes to the others.
"Well, I guess we should probably gear up for another adventure." Savannah says.
"Yeah, after saving the multiverse, too…" Angry Luigi says.
Later…
"Time for dessert!" Luz and Stephen say as they emerge with the cakes. Jerbo and Viney notice the cakes Savannah made for them and smile.
"Wow!" Emira and Edric say. Edric's cake is a centaur mixing a colorful potion with some amazing dry ice fog effects and Emira's cake is her healing the sick while doing an illusion spell.
Amity's cake says Happy 17th Birthday our spectacular Amity in pink icing on a white cake laden with fuschia bubbles to represent the abomination emblem. As for Hunter's cake, he smiled when he saw his was themed around Beast Keeping, and he knew Luz made it.
The room was soon filled with singing as they all thought of their wishes.
Amity wished Remy would win ANH. Edric wished for Emila to win her next competition. Emira wished for Viney to be happy with her new family.
Viney wished Savannah would win at Audition and Jerbo wished for a car.
Hunter thinks of a wish and wishes Luke and Garrett would make up. Hunter could see how humiliated Garrett looked.
Everyone was soon eating cake and chatting about ANH and other things.
Melony felt bad. She couldn't get the memory of that movie out of her head with her Akito, Estelle, Angry Luigi, and Garrett beating Luke, Shane, and the Foxes on the big screen.
Garrett knew the Foxes had something in store for him and he was scared to find out what it would be.
After the party, Luke dragged Garrett home, hissing at him as soon as they get upstairs.
Melony got dressed. "He's had enough, stop!" Melony says.
"Go home!" Charity tells her. "Wherever it is."
Melony leaves the manor before Charity screams at her again.
Oliver and his siblings were in their house, smirking as they had the perfect plan to humiliate Garrett. And they would make sure Melony couldn't interfere.
