"So let me get this straight, you want Willow to be our sister. We don't need a new sibling, especially with what happened. I'm still not sure why you're into Skara." Alem tuber says as they were walking home. Emma sighed.
"Boys. Enough." Skylia sighed, exasperated.
On November 3rd
"Michigan Has Talent! We've got to enter." Savannah says.
"Hm…yeah, boys, looks like we're going to win a talent show on November 12th. Our anniversary." Alem tuber says.
With Luke, he was thinking of his birthday. Shane was signing up for the Mr. Michigan pageant as he had won Mr. Royal Woods a few months back. He was also signing up for Michigan Has Talent.
"I'm not into pageants, but I'm sure you'll do great, Shaney." Penny says.
"I want you to come watch me." Shane says.
"I will." Penny says. "I'll come to Michigan Has Talent and support you then, too."
During lunch…
"Okay, guys, we gotta wow the crowd and win." Savannah says.
"I'm not so sure we should beat Luke and Shane. The last time I won well." melony says
"Luke is coaching Shane this time around." Savannah says.
"We should drop out if Shane is there." Angry Luigi says.
"Luke isn't even performing." Savannah says.
"People worship Shane like a god…" Alem tuber growled.
"I can't believe we're going to lose on our anniversary." Melony says.
"We can still win." Savannah says. "There will be prizes for the top four acts. But only the top act will win best in show."
"When's ANH?" Emma asked.
"Not sure, but Delta and I are entering Audition." Chrissy says.
Meanwhile, Lucy smiled, getting Student Of The Month at Royal Woods High, and goes to buy a gift for Leni for tomorrow. Luke and Shane already got Leni gifts for her birthday, but they wouldn't be around for the party due to Michigan Cheer Classic practice and Shane having to work. Shane got a new job at Tune In, the mall's new music store and he starts as a store associate tomorrow after cheer practice.
Lucy came home, seeing Luke coaching Shane for the Mr. Michigan pageant. They had already worked on his Michigan's Got Talent stuff.
She saw a dinner for her and it was her favorite, spaghetti and meatballs.
"Is this because I got Student Of The Month?" Lucy asked Charity. Charity nodded as she was setting the table for dinner.
"I really don't deserve this. Ollie got Student Of The Month." Lucy says.
"You got it at Royal Woods High, sweetie. Ollie got it at Oakley Academy." Charity says.
Lucy smiles a bit before going to wash up for dinner.
Meanwhile, Ollie was getting praise at his house.
"Oh, Ollie, sweetheart, we are so proud of you!" Esther says. He smiled.
"Way to go, son!" Ruben says. "This is an award well deserved!"
"We should go out and celebrate this! Where do you want to go for dinner, Ollie?" Esther asked. Ollie thinks.
"We'll go anywhere you want." Ruben says.
"What about Burger Garden?" Ollie says. "Their Impossible burger is my favorite."
"Burger Garden it is!" Ruben says. The four of them soon head there to celebrate Ollie's award.
Molly was also going to see him.
Meanwhile, Lucy came downstairs for dinner. Luke and Shane ate next to each other.
"Luke, Shane, maybe you should leave. Ollie won Student Of The Month for Oakley Academy. You can go. I don't mind." Lucy says.
"We're letting him celebrate with his family and Molly." Luke says. "I want to be here with you."
Lucy smiles at Luke. She began to eat.
She had sauce on her pale face. She wiped it off and looked at everyone, then herself, feeling like an ugly duckling.
"Spaghetti night is supposed to be messy!" Charity says with a smile.
She smiled back.
With Ollie, he smiled as Molly fed him his Impossible burger and sweet potato fries.
Libby came and joined them.
"Are we ordering dessert tonight?" Alyse, their waitress, asked.
"A vanilla sundae made with oat-milk-based ice cream for Ollie, and M&M sundaes for the rest of us." Ruben says with a smile.
Luke sees pictures.
"You can ditch me." Lucy says.
"No, it's his night. Not mine." Luke says.
Shane pushes his plate aside.
"I'm sorry. I just thought Ollie would be happy to see you." Lucy says.
"We'll see him this weekend." Luke says.
Lucy finished her dinner as Charity served bowls of chocolate ice cream.
"We love you, Lucy!" The siblings say as they eat their ice cream.
Shane pushed his bowl aside after eating five bites.
"Shane, is something wrong?" Shelby asked.
"Gil DeLily pageant tip #7, if dessert is what you must eat, after so few bites, one must admit they're beat." Shane says before walking off.
They felt bad.
Later, Lucy looks at her skin. She was the only pale one.
Luna sees Lucy. "What are you doing?" She asked.
"Leave me alone." Lucy sniffed, feeling like the oddball of the family.
"You are not an oddball, sis." Luna says.
"We have different skin." Lucy says.
"That isn't a bad thing." Luna says.
Lucy shows her eyes.
"I see your eyes, Luce-Change." Luna says.
"I know I'm a freak." Lucy says, feeling insecure about her looks.
"You aren't a freak, sis." Luna says.
Lucy still looks down as Luna keeps reassuring her.
A few days later, on the 7th, Shelby woke up and saw Shane working out in the home gym.
Shane sings his I Got My Game On song as he runs on his personal treadmill.
"Is it your pageant day?" Shelby asked.
"Mr. Michigan, here I come! Next stop after that, Mr. United States!" Shane says.
Lucy goes to get a big party together for when he wins. Shane smiled. She was planning to get all of Royal Woods to celebrate Shane when he won. Lucy writes a poem.
"There's the future Mr. Michigan!" Luke says as Shane is getting ready.
"There's our future Mr. United States!" Sharon says.
"Awww, Mom…I have to win Mr. Michigan first!" Shane says.
"We know you will, Shaney." Penny says as she walks in with Shane's Mr. Royal Woods sash.
Shane gasped and looked at it. Penny puts it on him and smiles at him.
"We love you, Shaney!" Penny says.
Shane was ready as they headed out.
They arrive in Detroit 30 minutes later.
"Lift up my cape. It shouldn't touch the ground!" Shane says.
Shelby does so as girls are screaming and seeing Shane. Shane flashes a smile.
Lucy sat down next to Charity.
Soon, the host took the stage.
"Welcome, one and all, to the Mr. Michigan pageant! Every guy here is ready to show off what makes them and their part of this state great! Without further ado…let's start with the contestants doing the opening dance number, shall we?" Augustine says.
Fans cheer. The curtains open as the contestants do the opening dance to Come Alive from The Greatest Showman.
After that, the guys on stage announce what part of Michigan they're from. It was soon Shane's turn.
"My name is Shane Loud, and I am from the wonderful town of Royal Woods, Michigan." Shane says, smiling at the crowd. The fans and crowd clapped.
Soon, other contestants did the same before getting ready for the talent round.
Shane watched other contestants do their talents. He got nervous, watching the contestant from Grand Rapids do his tap dancing routine to Personality by Lloyd Price. Shane had already changed into his sailor costume for his talent.
Shane looks a little nervous.
"You got this." Shelby says to her big brother.
"Here you go, baby." Sharon says, giving Shane his glittery purple ribbon sticks. "We're all here for you and we are so proud of you."
"You can do this. Show everyone what the former Mr. Teen Petoskey Falls is made of!" Lance says to his oldest son.
Shane smiles and gets ready to go on.
Soon, girls cheered as he appeared and did his Proud Mary ribbon dance, spelling his name with the ribbons at the very end of the routine, just like he practiced.
Shiloh cheered and so did the rest of the family. When he came backstage, Luke was smiling.
"That was wonderful!" Luke says. "You were amazing out there!"
Shane smiled and hugged Luke. "Thanks, Coach." Shane says.
"Coach Luke. Has a nice ring to it." Charity says with a smile. Luke smiled back.
There was a break as the contestants were getting ready for the swimsuit round. Shane looked at the swimsuits before him.
"Which one will you show off, Shaney?" Penny asked.
He thinks about it for a minute. He showed Penny his best one and went to change.
Meanwhile, Card Shark was attacking the city as Oliver saves Ollie before water sharks bite him as they rush for them.
Skara and Boscha arrive with Willow and Luz as they begin to fight as suddenly Strong Roulette and Fashion Bandit Bianca come to attack them. Card Shark was about to attack, but suddenly Joe Parker arrived tossing crystal cuffs and saw Luke's other villains that were fighting Luz and Willow.
Willow summoned vines for Wild Card Willy.
"Looks like Joe Parker has work to do." Joe Parker says, deciding to help.
"The Foxes can handle things, too." Oliver says as the Foxes and Joe Parker leaped towards the villains.
Shane wore a purple and gold swimsuit and purple sandals on stage as Penny fainted from overexposure. Girls shrieked with excitement, all wanting a peek at Shane.
Shane soon posed while taking off his sunglasses and winking.
Girls fainted as Shane flashes a smile and walks offstage.
Meanwhile, a news crew came to record the fight as Oliver was taking the spotlight.
"Oliver, Oliver!" Fans chant as he punches Wild Card Willy.
Strong Roulette tries punching, but Joe Parker counters with his signature lock spin attack, locking half of his body in a hold and spinning around, tossing Strong Roulette away.
Anti-Hybrid was watching this.
"Thanks for the help, not that we needed it." Griffin says.
"Joe Parker always brings justice." Joe Parker says as the Foxes took the rest out.
"Joe Parker must leave." he said and walked away as the Foxes were getting an interview.
"So, how did you manage to win?" Katherine asked.
"Teamwork. The 5 of us are unstoppable." Oliver says.
With Shane, he was getting ready for the interview round. This was an important round to be prepared for.
He gets ready as Luke massages his shoulders.
"We practiced this round so much. Are you ready for this?" Luke asked.
"I was born ready." Shane says.
Soon, it was Shane's turn to be interviewed.
"What makes you stand out from the other contestants, Mr. Royal Woods?" Augustine asked Shane.
"I'm very helpful." Shane says.
"Who is the person you look up to the most?" Augustine asked.
"My mom. She is quite influential." He says. Sharon smiled at him. "And my dad, too. He always encourages me to be myself."
The crowd awwws as Shane's parents were shedding tears of joy.
"How do you plan on juggling the responsibilities of the crown with the demands of your current life?" Augustine asked.
"It will be hard, but I'll do my best." Shane says.
"Final question. Why should we select you as the next Mr. Michigan?" Augustine asked.
"Because I'm responsible and I helped people and I organized Remy's Raiders and Garrett's Guardians." Shane says, then shows his heroic acts.
"Well, this is something!" Augustine says. "Let's hear it for Mr. Royal Woods, ladies and gentlemen!"
Everyone cheered as his siblings and Penny came on stage with Sasha. Shane blushes upon seeing Sasha as they walk backstage.
"Sasha, you made it!" Shane says. She smiled at him.
Lucy was soon setting up the massive party. It was only a matter of time until the crowning began.
"The time has come, ladies and gentlemen. It's time to crown our next Mr. Michigan!" Augustine says.
They crown all the runner-ups, then the big moment arrives. Shane smiled nervously.
"And your next Mr. Michigan, the one who will represent our state in the Mr. United States pageant in Las Vegas…is…Mr. Royal Woods, Shane Loud!" Augustine says, smiling as one of the judges puts the Mr. Michigan sash and crown on him and another gives him a bouquet of white flowers.
Shane was speechless and surprised by this as the crowd was cheering for him.
The family and his friends cheered and joined him on stage. Luke smiled.
"Congratulations, Shane!" Luke says. "You did it!"
Shane was smiling a lot. He was very happy he won.
"You deserve a party." Leni says. "You're Mr. Michigan now!"
Shane arrived back in Royal Woods, considering the pageant was in Detroit and all.
"Surprise!" All of Royal Woods says, ready to celebrate Shane. There was a parade float and decorations everywhere.
"For me?" Shane says, surprised.
"Yes!" Charity says.
"Awww!" Shane says and boards his float. Luke smiled and took pictures of Shane.
Shane smiled as everyone was cheering for him.
The float was moving through the city. Penny waved and smiled at Shane. He waves back.
After the parade, the party began with Shane's victory speech.
"This is a very big honor for me. Winning this pageant, I was pretty surprised to see that I was going to represent the entire state of Michigan with this title. I will make everyone proud and I will do my best to make the state of Michigan a great place to live." Shane says with a smile as everyone cheered.
He sees a ton of gifts. Shane opens them all as there were a lot of them to get through.
He opened all his fan gifts, smiling, then saw Luke's gift. It was a new cape.
"It has my name on it!" Shane says.
After gifts, Shane sees food of all kinds as he smiles. He smiled, getting hungry, then got him a plate of food. He sat with Penny.
She feeds him as he enjoys every bite. As he eats, a giant crown piñata is brought out.
"Cool! What's in it?" Shane asked.
"Why don't you pull on the ribbons and find out?" Luke asked.
Shane does so as full-size candy bars, toys and more fell out. Shane squeals and gets his share.
Later, Shane had walked home to get some peace and quiet. He enjoyed it, but it was a bit much. He laid on the couch as the family was watching him rest.
"Should we wait to have cake?" Shelby asked.
"We should prepare it while he rests." Sharon says.
"Good idea!" Luke says. The group rushes off to the dining room.
Shane woke up 2 hours later.
"It's quiet in here…too quiet." He says, walking all over the manor. "Where did my family go?"
He looks around for a bit and soon arrives at the dining room as he looks for his family.
"Oh…" he says as he steps inside the dimly lit room. "Where are they?"
The lights came on. "Surprise!" Everyone says.
Shane gasped. "Oh, my goodness…" he says. He saw the siblings, Luke, his parents, Charity, Forest, Garrett, and his friends standing behind the dining room table, where a big candy-jewel-laden cake sat in the middle of it. It read "Congratulations To Shane Loud, Our Sweet And Elite Mr. Michigan!"
"You guys!" Shane sniffed, shedding tears of joy.
Leni had a camera. "We love you, cousin Shane!" she says.
Soon, everyone began to sing. Shane smiled, he wished he'd win Mr. United States and possibly the pageants that came after. He blew out all the candles as everyone cheered.
Soon, Penny feeds him his cake.
"My compliments to the baker who made this incredible cake!" Shane says.
Stephen smiled at Shane. "Well, thank you kindly, Mr. Michigan." He says.
Charity sighed a bit and left.
"Mom, what's wrong?" Kat asked.
"It's nothing you kids should even be concerned with." Charity says as she goes to bed alone.
