Hey, yeah, I know it's been a hot minute to say the least. Look. I know a lot of you like this story...
...and one guest who keeps breaking one of my review rules.
But I've been beating around the bush about this for some time and I hate to say it...
...but X-Men: Evolution: Mystery of the Keyblade is officially on permanent hiatus!
I'm sorry. I liked this story too but I just can't find the motive to keep this story up. But here's a brief summary of what was supposed to happen:
X-Men: Season 2 and the events of Kingdom Hearts/ Chain of Memories would have been tied together with Season 3 being with KH2 and Season 4 with KH3.
Naminè would have joined the institute. Sora would have discovered an old Jedi Temple in the Savage Land and would have teamed up with Lara Croft, Spider-Man, and the Hulk to reach it with the help of Ka-Zar, Shanna, and Zabu, who met Obi-Wan and prepared the way for Sora since the Jedi became one with the Force.
He would have met other Avengers along the way to build up his team. Gaining Fury's interest as he also knew Obi-Wan and presented the idea of S.W.O.R.D. to him.
Near the Season 2 finale, the Trask would make his Sentinel tech based off old Separatist technology and reactive thousands of Battle Droids. Sora would also discover an old Venator-class Star Destroyer would contain an army of frozen clones that had removed their inhibitor chips like Rex, Wolf, and Gregor. Seeing Sora as one of remaining Jedi Commanders, they would agree to join him in his fight against the Empire.
With the Clones and the heroic friends along the way, would capture Trask, shut down the droids, stop Mystique from blowing up the school, capture Juggernaut, and stop Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless). As well as convince Senators of Earth that the Empire was the real enemy begin to plan for the fight against the Empire.
The conflict between the humans and mutants would still be there. Many denying the fact that the was an evil Empire, despite evidence.
Vanitas would have returned as Sora's Heartless, and Sora would still be angry that his mother was gone because of him but is stopped by Wanda and Kairi before he did something he'd regret.
Things would play out like the movies with Vader being obsessed with finding Sora leading to the "I am your father" moment. Which actually gets Sora and Magento closer together as father and son... especially when the latter loses an arm. The House of M, Pietro including, would have hatered towards the Dark Lord.
The Empire would eventually find their way to Earth to build the second Death Star instead of Endor. Leading to battle for Earth between the heroes, Age of Apocalypse, Xehanort, and the Sith.
Sora would have redeemed his father and the heroes emerge victorious but not without sacrifice. In the end, the future would be looking bright as the Avengers and X-Men would be a shining beacon to the world, Sora and Luke would begin the New Jedi Order, and the New Republic begin to flourish as new families would start for many... including Sora and Kairi...
The reboot would have focused on the Foreteller saga instead but obviously that wasn't going to work out for a long time. I wish I could have saw this through but I can't.
