In the Year of the Dragon, a baby was born in a world where superpowers were the norm. It was this baby who would be different from all others birthed in this world, for his gift was different. It was not a 'Quirk' as people have come to call the strange gifts they have received from genetic evolution. No, it was something...MAGIC.

However, the forces of evil learned of this special child. They sought his powers for themselves so that they could make their own wicked dreams come true.

A young woman with dark green hair was running through the woods, having fled from those who would take her child away from her, to mold him into some nefarious weapon they could use for evil. However, she was badly injured, and only adrenaline was keeping her going.

Coming across a gentle river, the woman only had one thing left to do that could save her child. Making a makeshift basket, she placed the baby safely inside and let it go downstream. It was only then she began succumbing to her wounds as she fell to her knees, breathing heavily as she watched the basket float along.

"My little boy...please...live a life of happiness and love. Be someone who will grow up to help those who can't help themselves..."

And with that, the woman took her last breaths, collapsing on the ground as her eyes closed for the last time...

DRAGON

The basket floated down the river through the forest, soon arriving in a village secluded from the rest of the world and coming to rest by a small modest house.

And this village was a very special one: Even in this modern age of superpowers, there were those who wished for peace and tranquility. And among those people, there were often those who had been cast out of shunned for how they looked or their abilities; abilities that were NOT Quirks.

No, the villagers here were not human in the 'traditional sense'. All beings that came from fantasy and mythology: Many a yokai, gargoyle, oni and other sorts of fantastic beings that modern society now treated with almost boredom and disbelief. But they were just as thoughtful, kind and protective as 'average' people, just not bound by the laws most did, running mostly on common and their sense of community.

Hence, since the dawn of this new branch of evolution, this small village had welcomed the fantastic, monstrous and or grotesque. All were welcomed and supported, only being asked to support in turn. Through this, they enjoyed a thriving farming, art, forestry and hunting based lifestyle.

Now, they DID occasionally venture into the big cities, but these were kept to a minimum; stocking up on supplies, general information gathering…and for their yoth to grow. After all, some souls are not content with a village their whole life and the world was a bit kinder to them than it had been centuries ago. The one rule was that they never speak a word about the village.

DRAGON

Coming across the basket was a young man, happily married to a woman native to this village. He was a human who had stumbled across the village but had been welcomed with open arms, soon eventually becoming an honored member of it.

He had dark brown almost black hair that was slicked back and he also had stubble. Looking at the basket, he gently picked it up and saw the baby inside.

The baby was a boy with a fluffy mop of dark green hair but what was unique about him was the tiny dragon wings and tail, the dragon-like clawed hands and feet, and the dark green scales decorating his body.

"Who left you floating down the river, little buddy?" The man gently asked.

Realizing this poor child had no home to return to, the man made a decision to take it with him. Arriving back at his house, he smiled when he saw his big beautiful wife nursing their seven daughters.

Said wife, Kikaya, was blessed with curly and voluminous black hair that was highlight by brown hair. This complimented her green-brownish eyes, which seemed tired (probably from taking care of seven baby girls) but also shined with a great kindness. Her button nose and smile showcased her warm nature, which was finished by her purple hoodie and sweatpants with green stripes along the side.

Their daughters all mostly took after their mother in appearance, all of them having black hair with unique streaks pertaining to each of them.

"Hirito, sweetie. What's going on?" Kikaya asked, her chubby yet gorgeous face one of concern.

"I just found this little guy floating by the river." The man, Hiritio, explained to his wife as he set the baby boy down. "Looks like he was abandoned or something."

"Oh, that's terrible!" Kikaya gasped. "Was it because of Mutant prejudice or something?"

"I don't know, exactly. He seems pretty comfortable." Hirito noted as the baby slowly yawned and opened his eyes, gurgling and reaching his clawed hands out.

"Awwww, poor dear..." Kikaya cooed as she picked up the baby gently, cradling him as he giggled before placing him with her infant daughters.

Already, the babies were starting to bond with each other. They started working together, stacking one block on top of another. It took them a while to form two towers, but when the boy finally placed the last block on the second tower, they all giggled and clapped their hands.

"Maya, Kokoe, Quoa, Joi, Rara, Tomo, and Yoya seem to be taking a shine to him already." Hirito smiled. "Should we keep him?"

"I'll speak with the Elder tomorrow. But for right now, I think we can."

The couple giggled when Quoa topple the tower and make their hard work collapse into a mess. The boy just tilted his head before he looked at Quoa and then boinked her on the head with a rabbit plushie, Quoa retaliated with a celery plushie. Soon, they began to play wrestle with each other as Quoa's six other sisters laughed at the funny scene.

DRAGON

Four years had passed and the boy, who Hirito and Kikaya learned was named Izuku Midoriya from a nametag left on his basket, had been welcomed into the village.

The village elder, a tengu nearly as old as the village itself, had smiled when the couple had shown their find, wordlessly giving them his blessings to take the boy as their own.

In fact all of the elders grew to like the new Debufuto baby, seeing his intelligence when he fixed cup a cup with a sneeze of fire from his mouth and his kindness when he offered his one toy; a rattle, to another crying child, all with a smile on his face.

As he grew up, more showings of Izuku's nature became clear; he'd always help his elders, be it carrying their bags or helping them cross streets, aid whenever he could and offered good ideas on how to fix the crumbling buildings. Some said he could become the new chief of the village in the future, but the elders all said that they had a feeling that he wouldn't stay…but for good reason.

Izuku was honestly unsure what he wanted to do with his life; he loved his parents, sisters and the village, but as one might expect, there was the curiosity of what was beyond the village. And then of course, there was his dream:

Be it due to learning how he came to the village or the tales he heard over campfires and or in books, Izuku wished to become a great hero; someone who could fight for the weaker and oppressed, but also just help by lending a helping ear and talk down situations. And while the village had its guardians and police who were respected and adored, Izuku, as much as he hated to think it, already wanted more.

But for now? Izuku's dream was not on his mind.

DRAGON

Right now, Izuku was sitting with the sisters as they had a bun eating contest, their parents watching from afar to make sure they didn't choke. Let's just say that had happened enough for them to schedule shifts and leave it at that. And with that being said, lets meet those sisters, shall we?

Maya had developed a more snarky and level-headed personality compared to the rest of her sisters. She also had an interest in black magic and other eldritch spells. She most particularly enjoyed music of various kinds, especially Rock & Roll, Heavy Metal, and Jazz…which she had often had to have smuggled into the village by whomever went outside.

She was wearing a blue dress and a black skirt with white socks and black Mary Janes. Her voluminous black hair had a white streak in it and dark purple tips.

Kokoe, in contrast to Maya, was much more excitable, never being able to sit still for more than a few minutes at a time. She was always there to make people smile when they were feeling down and was also quite playful, especially with Izuku, whose smile she seemed to adore above all else.

She wore a red dress with a white skirt, black socks, and pink Mary Janes. Her hair had light red streaks in it.

Quoa was a competitive and tomboyish girl with a love of working out. She could always be found running around, engaging in all kinds of physical activities, and just getting into trouble. Despite that, she was a truly loyal girl who never left anyone hanging when they needed it. If Izuku never became chief, many though Quoa could fit the role quite well…once she mentally matured a bit.,

She wore a green T-shirt, grey shorts, white socks, and green sneakers. Her hair had light green tips.

Joi was an honest and hard-working sort who was quite crafty and clever for her age. She had a knack for taking things apart and putting them back together near-flawlessly and always tried to rein in Quoa when she got in over her head…which was quite often…. If not by herself, Joi was often by her brother's side whenever he went out to help.

She wore a yellow shirt, orange overalls, and blue sneakers. Her hair had light yellow tips.

Rara was a fashionista, a drama queen, and always dressed to impress while trying to make her own clothes or fixing any ripped threads she could. While she could be a bit spoiled at times and often took advantage of the many boys who dreamingly looked at her (whenever Izuku and Joi were not there to scare them off), she was a truly generous soul who would always give to those in need while asking for nothing in return. As she explained:

"I once heard papa say that it was truly beautiful if you could give what you have and feel nothing but happiness for the ones you give it to. And I do find that to be quite true. Besides, I can always make more clothes or whatever I want. That and it feels better to earn something yourself, no?"

She wore a white dress with teal sparkle decorations, pink fluffy bracelets, a pink skirt, and blue designer shoes. The tips of her hair were decorated with silver blue.

Tomo was an intellectual, always having her nose deep in a book of some kind. She could also be a bit nerdy and obsessive-compulsive and tended to overthink things, but her sisters and Izuku were always there to keep her grounded. Out of their sisters, Tomo both worried the most over and had the most faith in Izuku's dream of becoming a hero.

She wore a black dress with a white skirt and white velcro shoes. Her hair had grey tips and she had a pair of round glasses over her eyes.

Finally, Yoya was a girl attuned to nature itself. She was always found interacting with the animals and admiring the various flora. She was painfully shy at times, often needing one of her sisters or her brother to speak for her, but nobody had a more kind and loving heart than hers.

She wore a pink sweater, blue shorts, and white shoes. Her hair had a streak of brown, pink, and white mixed together, almost like Neopolitan ice cream.

All in all, these eight children were an oddly matched yet compatible group of friends the world has never seen.

"Careful, girls." Tomo as she savored her bun. "Eat too much and we may need to enlarge the house."

"Good!" Quoa beamed. "If we get big, we'll not only be as pretty as mom buit we'll keep fit!"

"Only if you actually train." Maya snarked.

"You know we shall." Rara mused. "The one art our village teaches she hasn't learnt yet is Sumo, after all. Besides, beauty is but skin deep and in the eyes of the beholder."

"Where'd you get that from?" Tomo asked. "I know it wasn't Izuku or one of those magazines you sneak alongside Maya's CDs."

Rara said nothing, blushing as Maya stuffed another bun into Tomo's mouth, smirking as her sister's brightened; seemed she'd gotten a jelly bun after all.

Izuku paused, seeing one of his sisters almost scared to eat.

"Yoya-chan?" he asked in concern.

The quiet girl gulped and gently took a bite of her bun that she swallowed.

"Alright, ya animals! Enough!" Joi cut in. "Our eating too fast is overwhelming poor Yoya."

"But it's a contest!" Quoa noted.

"Its only fun if everyone is having fun!" Kokoe added, getting in her sisters' face.

"Guys, guys! C'mon!" Izuku said, getting between them. "Lets just eat and enjoy. Mom and dad worked hard on these buns, so…?"

Kokoe and Quoa's glares lessened and eventually ceased, probably because of the fake cough they heard from their mother,

"Girls, listen to your brother. Izuku, try and stop this sooner."

"Yes, mama." The children all said together as they thenj ate their buns and a leisuely pace.

DRAGON

Five years later

"Honey, the girls are getting pretty big."

Five more years had passed and Izuku and the sisters were now ten years old. While Izuku had become taller and a bit more muscular, almost looking like one of the Gargoyles of the village instead of a dragon, the sisters were similar yet different.

They were all plump and let their hair grown out, Tomo keeping her's in a ponytail along with Joi. Okea occasionally wore scrunchies as well'

"Well, no need to worry." Hirito mused. "They're comfortable in their own skin and train with Izuku to make sure they can move in said skin. As long as they're happy, that's enough for me."

"Fair. And they won't be as big as me for another fivce years anyways." Kikaya mused, smiling at her husband with adoration. "Still…hard to believe they've grown up so fast."

"Five more years until they can leave if they wish….and I think they will." Hirito said. "….Not looking forward to that, to be honest."

His wife embraced him and let him melt into said embrace.

"At least they'll stay together. And like the elder said, whether or alone or with the girls by his side? Our Izuku is destined for great things." Kikaya smiled, Hirito nodding in agreement as they fell asleep.

DRACONIC

Meanwhile, the siblings were planning to pack up their things. Why?

Well, in a few years, they'd have 15th birthday party. And after that, if they wished, they would be offered the chance to leave home and see the world.

"So, we're actually doing this?" Tomo asked. "A bunch of badass and beautiful sisters and their dragon brother are going to go out on this amazing quest when we've never even really left our village and with amazing powers we don't really understand. Is...is that the plan in five years?"

"Yup." Joi nodded.

"...Pretty much." Maya smirked with a shrug.

"Indeed, darling." Rara smiled.

"That's what the plot demands." Koke smiled.

"Dang right!" Qoua smirked.

….

...

….

"...Well I like it!" Yoya smiled, killing any of Tomo's fear. If her scaredy cat sister could do this? So could she!

"You know, you girls don't have to follow me." Izuku said, trying not to sound too harsh or rude…which was boaderline impossible for him. "I mean, you could see the outside world's music, fashion, libraries…"

He was cut off when he found himself forced into a group hug with all seven of his sisters. Many a man would envy and then worry him; thank goodness for dragon strength!

"And you'll see all of that too, bro." Joi smiled.

"And lets be honest, kind hearted as you are, you'd be a mess without us." Rara smiled.

"…Yeesh, And people say I'm the tactless one." Qoua noted.

"You are." Tomo said.

"We're siblings, Izuku." Yoya said. "We sticjk together, rain or shine."

Izuku smiled and returned the embrace of his sisters.

Knightmare Lord A/N:

Hope you like this little taste of a new different path Izuku will take to becoming a great Hero.

The Debufuto Family are OCs owned by furryeaglebarbarian on DeviantArt. You can see what they look like there on his account.

I'm taking some cues from the Legend of Spyro Trilogy as well as a bit of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the personalities of the Debufuto Sisters as well as Izuku's powers that will come into play next chapter.

Anything you'd like to say, Mrotrax?

Nothing much on my end, but looking forward to more!
