Chapter 1: The Story:
Sonic's POV:
It's Halloween in Green Hills and for us, it's our first. Yeah, we never had one on Mobius, but you probably expected something like that. Anway, me and Scar are at the Addams' house.
"I have a story to tell you," says the Addams' Grandmama, "the story of the Puttergeist!"
"Hold on," I said, "I got an emergency." I then answered. "There's a creep outside? I got it!" I then beat up the creep. "Problem taken care of."
"Thanks Sonic!" Turns out, both the caller and the creep were Fester.
"Why did you do that," I asked.
"To get beaten up, of course," says Fester.
"If I may," says the Addams' Grandmama, "40 years ago, a man went golfing on Halloween night and was struck by lightning, which lost him his head. He took the huge golf ball from the course sign and returned as the Puttergeist."
"Wait, if he lost his head, then how did he manage to get a replacement," I asked.
"Are you a detective," asks the Addams' Grandmama.
"No, that's Vector, Espio, and Charmy," I said.
"Then shut up!"

We then exited the house, but I thought I saw something... in a golf cart.
. . .
"So, do you guys believe in that puttergeist stuff," I asked.
"Nope," says Scar.
"No way," says Billie.
"We're too old for that," says Day.
"I heard it a million times," says Pugsley.
"Didn't think so," I said. Then I saw a reckless driver, driving around in a golf cart. "Hey, they could hurt someone!" I then chased after them. I then jumped on the golf cart. "Hey..." The driver had a golf ball for a head. "What?" He then hit me with a golf club, knocking me off the golf cart. The driver drove away.
"Sonic, are you okay," asks Scar.
"I think... we should call Tails and Knuckles!" I then looked at that golf cart.

It takes place between Chapter 52 and Chapter 53 of Sonic the Hedgehog. In the next chapter, Sonic and the others look for the Puttergeist.
