Chapter 3: Par:
Sonic's POV:
We were looking for the Puttergeist.
"That story doesn't make sense," says Tails.
"I know," I said.
"I think I see him," says Knuckles.
"Knuckles, let's use this rope," I said.
Knuckles and I then used the rope and the Puttergeist's golf cart gets caught in it and gets slingshot to a wall.
We then took a look and... it's Fester!
"Uncle Fester, you're the Puttergeist," asks Day.
"Nah, I just wanted to show you my costume," says Fester, "well, see ya!" He then left.
"You see," says Day, "it was just..."
We then saw the Puttergeist. "That makes more sense," I said, "he's skinnier than Fester."
. . .
We were then chasing after the Puttergeist. Despite my speed, I had trouble catching this guy, for some reason. What is that about? We then lost him. "Great," I said.
. . .
We then followed the tire tracks. "This is it," says NJ, "I can finally prove the Puttergeist is real!"
"And we could stop a maniac with a golf club," I said.
"That too," says NJ.
"Hey, I just had a thought," says Billie, "if we catch him, what do we do? I don't think Section Twelve has a prison for a golf ghost thing."
"We'll worry about the details later," I said.
. . .
We then followed the tire tracks to a dead end. "Where did he go," I asked.
"There he is," says Scar, "driving away!"
"He must've tricked us," says Tails.
"But he had the chance for an ambush," says Knuckles, "why didn't he take it?"
"There must be something else," I said, "but what?"
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, Sonic and the others continue to chase the Puttergeist.
