Chapter 5: The Nutcracker:
Sonic's POV:
It was time for the play, and everyone was there... even Walters. Anyway, the play was starting. Knuckles was playing the Nutcracker.
Walters' POV:
I had a thought... what if the Nutcracker had the Black Emerald! I then got up.
Sonic's POV:
Walters then attacked Knuckles, who then twisted his arm. Then the cat got launched in the ceiling and Tiny Tessa saved him.
"Jasper," says Walters. Tiny Tessa returns Jasper to him. "Thank you, Young Lady!"
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... intermission," I said. We then closed the curtains.

"What was that about," I asked.
"I read that the Black Emerald was with the Prince, so I figured the Nutcracker had it," says Walters.
"So, you assumed Knuckles, who was just playing the nutcracker would have it," says Tails.
"In retrospect, it didn't make sense at all," says Walters.
"There's a nutcracker on the tree," says Tiny Tessa.
"And the maid is stealing it," says Tails.
We saw the maid leave with it. "She must be the ghost," I said, "let's go!"
We then chased after the maid.

We had the maid cornered. "So, you dressed as the ghost," I said.
"Wait, I ahm stealeeng ze blahck emerahld to becahme reech, but I hahve no idea whaht you ahre tahlkeeng ahbout!"
Then the ghost appears. The ghost then revealed his face. It didn't occur to us that the ghost would be real... in fact, he's Walters' great-grandfather! He was laughing as we looked at him.
