p style="text-align: left;"Vetrel chased after a rabbit that was running from him, trying its hardest to escape the brown fox. Vetrel wasn't quick enough, though, and it ran off into the wilderness. He sighed. Why couldn't he be just good at hunting?/p
p style="text-align: left;"He walked off to camp, head down and slow. He dreaded having to explain this to his Trainer. All the other foxes were good at that thing, so why wasn't he? Shame swirled through his mind as went to his nest. He curled up, but didn't fall asleep./p
p style="text-align: left;""Another failure today, huh Vetrel?" A sand-colored fox named Xena teased./p
p style="text-align: left;""Leave me alone."br /"Oh, I get it now!" Xena replied. "You're so sorry for yourself. You should be! You're just be another mouth to feed."/p
p style="text-align: left;""Shut up."/p
p style="text-align: left;"Xena snickered as she walked off to go hangout with her friends, and Vetrel felt bitterness sneak up on him from behind. How he hated Xena. He was always the "useless one" or the "stupid one" or this and that. It didn't help that he wasn't really good at doing anything except for sitting in his nest. If he couldn't be useful...He would be "just another mouth to feed." He sat in his own puddle of thoughts, not having any use. Maybe he should try his luck again at that rabbit./p
p style="text-align: left;"Maybe tomorrow./p
