Chapter Nine: Rise Of Vision.
"This framework is not compatible." Tony muttered as he typed out some code on a computer which had been hooked up to the Cradle..
"The genetic coding tower's at ninety-seven percent. You have got to upload that schematic in the next three minutes." Bruce told him, taking off his glasses so as to rub away any sweat that was gathering around his eyes.
"Don't worry Bruce, I got it. Boom Baby, Cisco is in the house!" Ramone grinned, giving himself a high five while Tony rolled his eyes in the background.
Tony had gone to the STAR team for help as he knew it was only a matter of time before Ultron would try and take the cradle and whatever was in it, back.
And so Caitlin and Cisco had come upstairs to assist Bruce and Tony with finishing the work Doctor Cho and ultron had started, by filling in the gaps with Jarvis.

As they are moments away from opening the Cradle, Steve jumps down from the top floor, landing on his feet with his shield held in front of him. Wanda and Pietro join him a second later.
They had made their way back from Hong Kong and then rushed straight to the tower, Tony and the others were going to make a huge mistake, and so they needed to stop them.
"I'm going to say this once, Shut it down!" The Super soldier ordered.
Tony shook his head, summoning an armoured gauntlet onto his hand. "Nope, not going to happen." He replied.
"You don't know what you're doing!" Steve argued, glaring at his friend's.
"And you do? She's not in your head?" Cisco exclaimed, picking up a sonic rifle he had developed after Barry's second run in with the pied piper a few years ago.
Wanda winced, feeling guilty about that. She had been fighting against the wrong side and made many mistakes. "I know you're angry-"
Bruce growled. "Oh, we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade." He glared.
Steve sighed. "Banner, after everything that's happened—"
"That's nothing compared to what's coming! Not just with ultron but beyond him. We need this, we need all the help we can get!" Tony exclaimed, eyes wide in anger and fear.
Wanda frowned. "But you don't know what's in there!"
Pietro groaned and ran around the room, unhooking everything and destroying all the equipment save the Cradle.
Everyone froze in shocked silence. "No, no. Go on. You were saying?" The speedster asked sarcastically.
Just then, he is tackled to the wall by an angry Supergirl, who keeps him there.
Barry rushes into the room, jumps on top of the Cradle and throws lightning bolt after lightning bolt into the power supply.
An explosion sends everyone back, and from the rubble emerges a nude, red and silver android. Supergirl drops Pietro and surges forward, aiming to punch the new lifeform, only for it to go right through him.
The android blinks and looks down, seeing that it's chest area is semi-translucent. "Would you mind pulling your fist back Miss Danvers?" it asked politely, it's voice familiar.
Kara does so, blinking once in confusion. "Jarvis?" she asks.
The android frowns. "Yes and no... I'm not him but I'm not ultron either, I am.. vision."
Steve decided that was the perfect moment to butt in. "Barry, Kara, you helped create this?" He assumed.
"Thor used Doctor Selvig's phone to get in touch with Maria, who informed me of the information we needed." Barry replied.
"Which was?" Pietro asked, rubbing his throat.
"Thor had a vision. A whirlpool that sucked in all hope of life and at its centre was that." Kara explained, gesturing to the yellow stone in Vision's head.
"What, the gem? Why is that so important." Bruce asked.
"It's called the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in their destructive capabilities." Kara continued.
Steve frowned." Then why would you bring it to-"
Barry sighed. "Because Stark is right, we're not enough on our own."
Bruce groaned. Oh, it's definitely the end times."
Flash nodded. "We can fight Ultron back, destroy his copies and maybe halt his plans. But that's it, we can't defeat him."
"Not alone, which Is why I will help you." Vision added.
Wanda frowned at that. "I looked in your head and saw only annihilation."
"Look again." Vision insisted.
Clint snorted. "Yeah. Her seal of approval means jack to me." He muttered.
"Their powers, the horrors in our heads, Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone, and they're nothing compared to what it can unleash. But with it on our side..." Supergirl began again.
Steve looked directly at vision. "Is it? Are you? On our side?" he questioned.
Vision pursed his lips. "I don't think it's that simple. I am on the side of life. Ultron isn't, he will end it all."
Knowing how powerful his sort of creation is, Tony asked the obvious question. "Then what's he waiting for?"
"You, all of you. He wants to utterly humiliate and destroy you, therefore justifying his plan." Vision replied.
"Where is he then?"
Clint was the one to answer. "Sokovia. He's got Nat there too. However he's not alone, something about another speedster?"
Barry threw his arms up in the air. "Oh for the love of, what is it with speedsters this week!?" he exclaimed.
The others shrugged while Pietro muttered out a sorry and chuckled nervously.
Seconds later, Thor walked in, setting down his hammer on the ground before greeting the others. Barry and Kara brought him up to speed.
Getting back on track, Bruce turned to look at vision. "If we're wrong about you, if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be..."
Vision blinked. "What will you do?"
Their silence was answer enough.
Vision sighed. "I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain. But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I were one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me. But we need to go."
Everyone's eyes widened as they saw the android holding up thor's hammer toward its proper wielder. The Asgardian cleared his throat, took it off vision and nodded. "Well then...I guess that's that."
"Fifteen minutes, get what you need and suit up." Steve said with a sigh.

"My clothes are kind of...wrecked, Stark said you could help me with that."
"Yup, Which is why I asked Cisco to grab some spray paint and something from an old enemy of mine." Barry replied.
As soon as he had finished that sentence, Cisco came in with a dark red leather jacket, red speedster jeans and some augmented boots and gloves. Caitlin followed him, she was holding two cans of spray paint. One white and one in a similar colour to Pietro's old hydra suit.
"This is a fireproof coat, during the short time I was 'dead'. ZOOM had intended to fool the populace and give them hope by pretending to be a hero." Barry explained as he gestured to the bundle of clothes cisco was holding.
"Why would he do that?" Pietro asked, face aghast.
"So he could then rip that hope away from them, he was... insane. He enjoyed other people's suffering, their pain and heartbreak, it fueled him." Cisco explained as Barry's face turned dark.
"Anyway... Barry thought you could take something from an evil man and make it into something good. So this is for you." Caitlin added.
"You have that much faith in me, in my sister?" Pietro blinked, amazed.
Barry shrugged. "You're not a bad person, you were just dealt bad cards. It's up to you how you play with those cards." The teenager replied.
"What?" Pietro blinked, not understanding the metaphor.
"You were raised by people who were bad, and teamed up with a bad guy while in reality you were good. So it's your choice, you can step aside and let the world burn or you can put on this suit and help save it." Caitlin explained.
"Oh, okay then." Pietro muttered, taking the clothes and paint before rushing into a bathroom. Seconds later he rushed back out, now clad in a white and blue suit.
"How does it feel?" Cisco asked.
"Good...I like it." Pietro replied as he flexed his fingers in the gloves.
"Welcome to the Avengers." Barry smirked.
(Meanwhile)
"There is absolutely no way we all get through this. If even one tin soldier is left standing, we've lost. There is going to be a lot of blood on the floor." Tony stated.
Steve smirked. "I got no plans tomorrow night, and I don't think the others do either."
Tony chuckled at that. "I get first crack at the big guy, Iron Man's the one he's waiting for."
At that very moment, Vision walked past them both, and having heard their conversation, decided to comment on it: "That's true, he hates you the most."
Tony sighed at that, shaking his head. "I just had to open my mouth didn't I?"
Steve said nothing, but his smirk did widen.

Once everyone was gathered, Tony decides that Cap should address the whole team while they are flying to Sokovia.
"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire, and that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't. So our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But we can do our best to protect them. And we can get the job done, and find out what Ultron's been building. We find Romanoff, and we clear the field. Keep the fighting between us. Ultron thinks we're monsters and we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him. It's about whether he's right."
"Then let's prove him wrong." Barry added, folding his arms as the Jet rose into the air.
Avengers Assemble.
It was up to them to stop the Age of ultron from becoming a reality.
