The Idea of the Month

School was over for the year; the group were chilling in a shed in Thomas' backyard. When Patrick and Thomas came bursting through the door very excited.

Thomas: Lads! Listen, the plan was simple. We wanted to look around for something to tell a story and look at what we found. (Shows a Picture of the 13s in front of a windmill holding a loaf of bread, and in the front, there was a certain individual)

Gordon: Oh look, it's Eagle.

Emily: James' brother? whit urr ye a' daein' thare wi' him?

Edward: Oh, I remember now, this was when we ran the Miller's Mill.

Percy: Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that one.

Toby: To be honest I wish I did, what I and some of you went through wasn't exactly the best.

Emily: Och, please Toby, ah haven't heard this story.

Toby: Well, I suppose if Emily wants to know more about good old Winston, then I suppose we can recall this one.

Patrick: Alrighty then, my dear Emily! It's time to take a step back and for you to see what the 13s were like, back when Eagle was still alive.

The OG Squad's Golden Days

Let's take a look back to the year of 2009, The 13s were a pretty known group, with their members, Thomas Brighton, Edward Pettigrew, Henry Stanier, Gordon Gresley, James and Winston (Eagle) Holton, Percy Avonside, Toby Holden, Montague (Duck) Collette, Donald, Douglas, & Patrick McIntosh, & Oliver Brunel. They were a good crew, striving to be the tightest and kindest group on the Island they called home. Sodor. One day Patrick, Donald, Douglas, and Gordon were at a special clubhouse (that was built for them long ago, which was later upgraded into the shed they all hangout in earlier in the previous story) playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii. When Eagle came bursting in with excitement.

Eagle: I've done it. I've gone and bloody done it! And man, it feels good.

Gordon: (Pauses the game and looks at the red colored student) What are you going on about?

Eagle: I have convinced Mr. Miller to have us work at his windmill whilst he is away on holiday with Mrs. Miller.

Patrick: I don't want to hear any specifics about how you managed to do that, but it will be a challenge for sure, are we going to get the others involved?

Eagle: Patrick, you of all people should know that is a certainty.

Donald: Hmm, 13 laddies workin' in a floor` mill making aran.

Douglas: Alang wi' ither pastraidhean, lik' croissants, bagilean, briosgaidean, wha kens whit else.

Gordon: Are you sure we can do this? What are we even supposed to do?

Eagle: Simple, we make about a dozen dozens 13 packs of 13 items. All in time for market day when they return.

Gordon: Ok, that sounds interesting, but are you sure we can still do this?

Eagle: Providing we all work together as one unit; we should just about accomplish anything that throws at us.

Patrick: I'm in.

Donald and Douglas: Us tae.

Gordon: I suppose I can't let you have all the fun, what the heck. I'm in.

Eagle: Excellent. Meet me by the Miller Windmill next Tuesday after school. And be sure to bring your Aprons.

(Next Tuesday came, the 13s all gathered by The Miller Windmill, Mr. Miller explained everything they needed to do before he and Mrs. Miller left on their holiday, leaving the others to set to work.)

(One Baking Montage Later)

Edward: That… doesn't look right. (Looks at their first batch, which looked rather brunt and green in some places)

Henry: Well, there's only one way to find out, who wants to take the first bite.

Duck: They can't be that bad, surely. (Takes a bite out of one of the cookies, switches to a scene of him puking in a nearby loo.)

Oliver: Apparently, they are that bad.

Eagle: But what I am not understanding is what happened to make our batches turn out so wrong.

Donald: Mibbie we shuid hae checked if thay wur mouldy foremaist?

(Thomas The Tank Engine Music Cue Sound Effect)

Eagle: Fair enough, Let's try that again tomorrow.

(Tomorrow | SpongeBob Timecard #16)

Douglas: A'richt, whit gaed wrong this time?

Patrick: Please, someone explain why James is scraping his tongue with the dish washing brush? And Henry putting an Ice Pack on his?

(We see James and Henry doing those very things)

Oliver: We kinda burnt them.

( /clip/Ugkx0SRqv_8HW8yxiuijFKJkaLtcJoDSC8rO?si=i2OeOy9sGM273kNa)

Eagle: Ok, we will get this right tomorrow for sure.

(Tomorrow For Sure... | SpongeBob Timecard #17)

Percy: Ok, Soak the affected area in warm water for 20 minutes. The water should be around 104˚F (40˚C), and no more than 108˚F (42.2˚C).

(Toby follows the instructions with his tongue)

Patrick: Um, don't worry Winston, I'm sure We'll get it right eventually.

(Eventually... | SpongeBob Timecard #18)

(We see Oliver, Patrick, Donald, Douglas, And Thomas all running around in the Cow field all hyper.)

Thomas: Giddy up Patty!

Patrick: (Horse Sound)

Oliver: Sugar Do-do-do-do-do-do, Oh Honey, Honey.

Donald and Douglas: See th' wee goblin

see his wee feet

and his wee mooch wose

is th' goblin sweet?

Oliver, Pat, & Thomas: Yes! (Collapse to the ground as we Turn to Gordon hold a bag of sugar)

(UHHH... | SpongeBob Timecard #19)

(The group is now sitting around the fire late at night, James, Toby and Henry still had their injuries, Pat, Thomas, Donald, Douglas, and Oliver were shaking violently, Duck had a bucket (Just in case), & Percy was huddled by Gordon shuddering at the sight. Eagle meanwhile is nowhere to be seen.

Gordon: I had a hunch this would end up happening, what I can't believe is that the individual technically responsible is not here.

James: (sloppy and hard to understand) He said he needed some time to think back at home.

Gordon: Oliver, you come back to your senses yet?

(Oliver is still shaking, but Pat (Who had) made sure to click his fingers and Oliver is back in action)

Oliver: I really question why we agreed again?

Edward: Another one of Eagle's crazy ideas.

Donald: Ah mean, ye gotta haun it tae th' laddy. His ideas ur ferr interesting. Bit ye ken whit. Ah think we kin pull this aff.

Duck: How? (Gags) How can we pull this off?

Douglas: By workin' th'gither, keeping ilk ither safe, reading th' recipes properly 'n' wi' enough solid wirk, we kin dae it. As a gang.

Thomas: As a squad.

Patrick: As a family.

Eagle: Aww, you guys do care.

Thomas: Aahhh! Winston Don't do that, you'll cause Mr. Jefferies to have a heart attack.

Mr. Jefferies: That's Stationmaster… ( /clip/Ugkx7INiVrR2EOWqDGoIbKVDYLWJoK0tB8mA?si=IfyO7dRQlldsEgv-)

Henry: (sloppy and hard to understand) Someone call 999.

Gordon: On it.

(The Next Day | SpongeBob Timecard #47)

(Cue Working together montage, with music not from Thomas, in song form!)

(Sonic Underground Music Video: Working Together in Harmony)

Everyone: Oh, oh,

Patrick: When there's a job to do you've got to pull together as a team

Everyone: Oh . . .

Eagle: When to fight, when to wait

Everyone must communicate

Everyone: Oh . . .

Gordon: Working together

Everyone: Together

That's how it should be

James: Working together

Everyone: Together

Just you and me

Thomas: Working together

Everyone: Whoa

In harmony

Percy: Whoa!

(Duck and Oliver start harmonising whilst the other continue to scat to the music)

Donald and Douglas: Workin' th'gither

Everyone: Whoa

In harmony, whoa

Henry: If we'd all work together, everyone

Everyone: In harmony, whoa

Sweet harmony

Harmony!

(When Mr. and Mrs. Miller came back. They were astonished that we managed to complete the task on time. And so as a reward, Mr. Miller gave us a week's supply of cookies, a prize that was totally worth all the turmoil.)

A Good Voice Clearing Missing

Emily: Wow, that was quite a story, but I noticed James getting sad near the end. Why's that?

Patrick: Well…

(Flashback to the day After the Millers came home)

Gordon: It's very odd for James and Eagle to be late.

Henry: I know, do you think one or both of them are sick?

Donald if that were yon case, they'd tell all of us.

Douglas: No, something's definitely wrong. But what could it…

Percy: Wait, everyone. Look at this. Edward, Turn up the volume.

(Edward turns the TV's volume up as the news comes on)

Hank: Terror strikes the city of Tidmouth as two robbers try to rob a local Retail store. Charlie Noves is on the scene right now live, Charlie what's going on?

Charlie Noves: This is a high tense situation about right now Hank. The authorities are doing all that they can to try and track down the individuals responsible. Looking right now we can see that people are getting loaded onto ambulances And…

Toby: Play that back!

(Edward rewinds back to the ambulances and the group see Eagle being loaded into an ambulance)

Oliver: Eagle…

Gordon: What are we standing here for? Our friend is in danger, we need to be there for him.

Duck: Gordon's right, come on. We've gotta go now!

(The group make their way the Tidmouth hospital, there they find James and the rest of the Horwich family)

Thomas: James, we saw him on the news, Where and how is he?

James: The doctors are doing everything they can, he's in the operating room now. But I am so worried.

Toby: Don't worry James. Eagle's strong, I'm sure he will make it out of this one!

(Hours pass by, until around 5:30 in the evening. Tragedy struck.)

Nurse Cleo: Mr. and Mrs. Horwich?

Mr. Horwich: That's us.

Donald: Is Winston alright?

Dr. Victor: I am truly sorry Donald, but no. When he got here he lost a lot of blood, we tried to recover a pulse but nothing worked, I'm sorry. There was nothing we could do. Winston's gone.

(Our hearts lodged up in our chests when we heard that. Eagle, One of our closest friends, One of the original 13s, had died. And all we could do was grieve. James and his family could barely hold it together after the funeral, and would end up later moving to Brighton. But when they came back to Sodor, we made sure to help them, just as Winston would have wanted us to do.)

(Meanwhile back in the Present, the rest of the 13s were just processing, Emily hugged James just sorry for his loss of someone so close.)

Emily: Awright, how come dinnae we gang tae his ma fave steid th' nicht 'n' hae tea thare, in his honour.

Patrick: That actually sounds nice. What about you guys?

James: Yeah, let's do it. He always loved this Italian Restaurant in Ballahoo.

Gordon: Then that's where we'll go. For Winston.

13s: Yeah!

(And the group heads out with the camera panning to the picture and someone picking it up)

Eagle: No matter what, I will always be a part of this beautiful family.

Meanwhile At Crovan's Gate

Splatter and Dodge are training with Crovan with Alfred and Diesel 10 looking from the shadows.

Alfred: Your boys are good Seth. But to pull this plan off, you are going to need more help.

Diesel 10: I was just thinking that Alfred. But luckily for you I have called an old friend and he should be bringing them in now.

A door opens up With Two men entering.

Diesel 10: Ah, Baz and Bennie, Glad to see you chaps again.

Bennie: The pleasure is all us Seth.

Baz: And as we promised, we give you your new recruits. Vaggie, and Octavia.

(In walks two younger women looking about the age of 15, One is covered in greys and blacks with a spear on her back, bandages on her limbs and part of her face, and knuckle bracers on her waist, the other wears an owl mask covering her face, her clothing is full of black, grey, and dark red feathers. Both girls' eyes shine a very dark white, red, and black with their pupils being replaced with swirling spirals. Splatter and Dodge see them and decide to attack to test their skills, and all four are equal matches, Alfred calls the fighting off before it could get intense.)

Baz: If you need anything else…

Bennie: Just let us know. (Baz and Bernie leave)

Alfred: Well, Well, Well. Nicely done Seth.

Diesel 10: Thank you. Are you two ready to get to work.

Octavia: Yes boss.

Vaggie: Just say the word.

Both: And we will do it together or burst! (Their eyes glitch from their swirling dangerous eyes to normal eyes (with Octavia having blue eyes and Vaggie having green) before switching back.)
