Pepper and 30k were relieved, they had just survived heavy QRF in the region which was unexpected. The duo had boarded with McCoy's chalk and were about 5 minutes out. "You boys alright ?", asked McCoy. "Splendid", said 30K in a joking manner. "Very funny, good thing we got you boys out, they don't need to know the U.S operators especially you guys are here", McCoy said. "You boys fight like hell", McCoy said. Within 5 more minutes the team had touched back down in La Pila, Mexico. Ghost Recon had encounters with the Las Almas Cartel in Mexico but this cartel was different. The duo had regrouped with the rest of their team and got rest. Little did the group they were about to face shocking and haunting revelations.
Roba Compound 2, Las Almas, Olmeda, Mexico, November 1st, 2024, 03:20 PM
Manuel Roba was at his secondary compound in Olmeda, another city in Mexico which had a rival cartel, The Las Almas Cartel. Roba was in bed relaxing, but suddenly he got a phone call. "Senor Roba, outside the perimeter is secure, I'm with Senor Washington", Sparks said. "Copy that Sparks", Roba said. Little did he know someone was outside his house in a nearby building watching, but it wasn't the Las Almas Cartel, it was someone from the NSA, a cell, a Splinter Cell. A Fourth Echelon operator codenamed Scorpion was performing reconnaissance the outside of Roba's compound. He was placed under a joint operation between Fourth Echelon and Ghost Recon to take down Roba. "This is Grim to Scorpion, what do you see ?", asked Anna Grimsdottir , 2IC at Fourth Echelon. "Multiple contacts on each side of the doors", Scorpion said. "Anything else ?", she asked. "Holy shit, I thought they were dead, I think I've got PID on Sparks and Washington", Scorpion said. "That's impossible, both of them died doing the operation we're trying to accomplish", Grim said. "I'm seeing them clear as day , Grim", Scorpion said. "Copy, take pictures and bug out, Grim out ". Scorpion took four pictures and bugged out.
