Chapter 8: Roba's Assistants

The Ghost Recon had landed near an OGA (CIA) safehouse in the region. They quickly found their transport vehicle, a SUV and hopped in with Pepper driving and 30K helping with land navigation. They were approximately 5 mikes out from the festival. Kozak checked himself in the mirror. "Ok, I'm good", he said. "Listen up Ghosts, remember this is our shot at taking down Sparks and Washington and possibly Roba so stay on your toes. Delta takes out their target and we take out ours, got it ?"asked Lead. "Yep", the 3 said in unison. They kept on driving until they were stopped at a checkpoint. This was the local military. President Bernado Arevalo allowed a U.S operation in his country. So the soldiers let them through with no problems whatsoever. "Take a right up here", 30K said. They had officially made their way to the party. The target was loud with music and partying. "Ok here's the plan, we'll split up to cover more ground, Kozak with Pepper, 30K with me, Kozak , Pepper take the back and we'll get the front, let's do this", Lead said before the quartet split off.
"This way", Pepper said to Kozak. "Com check ?", Lead asked. "Got you", Kozak said. "Let's keep this precise gentleman", Ross (Lead) said.
Back of House 5591, Guatemala, 09:30 PM, November 1, 2024
Kozak and Pepper had moved into the main party around 15 minutes prior but nothing so far. Pepper asked a cartel member "Have you seen el jefe (the boss)?". "No, senor but he should be upstairs", the member responded. "Gracias", Pepper said leaving the conversation. "Griffin this is Hunter, nothing so far". "Copy, keep trying", Mitchell said. Kozak was standing by the table when he overheard that a soldado (soldier) was giving el jefe a delivery. "This is 1-4, I think I got something", Kozak said as he ran up to talk to the guy delivering the package. Kozak somehow was able to ''talk'' his way into getting the delivery to el jefe. "This is 1-2 to 1-1, I think Kozak might meet the bastard solo", Pepper said to Ghost Lead . "Copy we'll meet you in the back", Lead said. 30K and Ghost Lead quickly and quietly moved to regroup with Pepper. Kozak wouldn't be suspicious or out of place because they had planned and dressed accordingly to what the cartel members would wear. Kozak pulled out a pistol and put it under the box ready on the trigger. Kozak quickly knocked on the second door. "What do you need ?"Sparks asked, answering the door. "Entrega (delivery)", Kozak said to one of Roba's right hand man's. As soon as Sparks took the package, Kozak pulled out his P45t and shot Sparks at point blank range killing him. Kozak quickly pulled out his LVAW and started firing into the room. Washington ran and jumped off the second story balcony and started to run for his truck. "Be advised, this is 1-4 target Bravo is moving to his vehicle to leave, can you cut him off ?"Kozak asked.
"Affirmative", Lead said as the trio started to fight their way out of the kitchen.
Kozak quickly jumped from the second floor injuring his left leg.
Fighting through the pain, Kozak quickly ran towards Washington.
Kozak was coming from the front and the rest of the team were coming from behind, the target was surrounded.
"Shoot the tires, tires !"Pepper said as they shot, hitting Washington's wheels to spin out and crash into a pole. The team quickly moved in on the mess and quickly dispatched him.
"Let's SSE", Ross said.
